Starting from the Planetary Governor - Chapter 883
Chapter 876, Enjoy in person
the wrath of the second brother Gao Mao in person, the entire Warp trembled.
With a roar, Gao Ge charged at the Thunder Bear. It appeared to be only a massive green head, yet it was already larger than the Thunder Bear.
With one impact, the bear suddenly disintegrated.
Gao Ge gloated, while Mao Ge once again channeled his power, attempting to influence the lower realms.
But in an instant, a bolt of lightning suddenly appeared in the Warp, shattering the force.
It was undoubtedly Gu Hang again.
“When children fight, parents can’t get involved,”
Gu Hang muttered softly within the Kingdom of God.
His condition wasn’t great.
If he simply defended the Kingdom of God, he could easily withstand the siege of the second brother Gao Mao.
But actively fighting outside was another matter.
Away from the Kingdom of Storm God, Gu Hang’s power became rootless.
To those powerful evil gods, Gu Hang, confined to his own Kingdom of Storm God, was like a tortoise and a hedgehog, difficult to attack. But if he “went out,” attempting to project his power externally, he could only bully the Great Demon, or perhaps secure a victory over the Divine Demon. But facing the supreme being beneath the gods, Gu Hang would struggle.
Let alone encountering the Second Brother Gao Mao at the same time.
Just like before, Gu Hang had become a little arrogant, feeling that his Second Brother’s prolonged attack hadn’t impressed him. Seeing that the two were about to “foul,” he exerted considerable strength, materializing into the form of a giant bear. Simply to stop the Second Brother Gao Mao from “fouling,” he didn’t need to exert such force; a flash of lightning, like the second time, would have been enough.
Still, he thought, “Just a little strike, a glimpse of fangs!”
Instead, he was smacked
headfirst into a pulp. This took its toll on Gu Hang, compounded by the injuries he’d sustained during the prolonged siege of the Divine Kingdom. His left nostril began to bleed, and a crack appeared on his forehead.
The second time, when he tried to intercept the Second Brother’s power, he was much more measured, using only a flash of lightning.
Quick, pragmatic, and effective.
Still, there was a price to pay.
The two orc gods didn’t let go of Gu Hang’s outstretched claws, chopping them off as well.
The damage wasn’t as severe as when the giant bear was destroyed, but it was no less severe.
The combined injuries from these two blows were worse than the beatings he’d received earlier.
If this was a sting operation, Gu Hang would have been caught.
Being repeatedly dispatched and chopped off like this, Gu Hang couldn’t endure it for much longer. The promise of withstanding this siege for years might suddenly drop to just a few days, or even today.
But so what?
I can still hold out for a day, but what about your Broken Bones?
Can you hold out for another minute?
It looked like it wasn’t going to last.
He took a moment to glance over and saw that Broken Bones’s entire back armor was completely destroyed and discarded. If he
didn’t discard it, it would be a burden. Not only did it not protect him, but its weight and bulk hindered his movements from behind.
His left leg was lame, and his movements were no longer as agile as they had been at the beginning.
His axe still carried the same powerful force, but the previously terrifying “space folding” technique, the terrifying axe-to-the-face attack that followed a single raised hand, was no longer so invulnerable. At least, the champions could now barely see the axe’s trajectory through the air. While dodging wasn’t easy, it was a significant improvement.
Furthermore, it was a particularly iconic symbol.
The most desperate battle is one without any hope.
But now, Bonebreaker’s health bar wasn’t just flaring; it was practically crippled!
Even more striking was the fact that a swordsman champion, aided by his companions’ firepower and psychic energy, suddenly charged in close and took a risky swing at Bonebreaker’s forehead.
He struck,
cracking Bonebreaker’s left eyebrow and sending a stream of blood gushing out.
His skin was resilient, his bones strong, and the Waagh field between his flesh and bones provided a supernatural shield.
So, while the blow appeared to have bled Bonebreaker’s head, it was actually only a flesh wound, barely affecting the fight.
The swordsmanship champion wasn’t capable of severing his skull with a single blow.
Risking his life for this small wound wasn’t uncommon. It wasn’t unheard of for others to attempt this in previous battles, but unless it resulted in a significant injury that compromised Broken Bone’s combat effectiveness, it was a loss.
The current injury to Broken Bone’s brow was a seemingly successful, yet ultimately disastrous, exchange.
However, the most remarkable thing was that the swordsmanship champion had actually blocked Broken Bone’s counterattack!
Unable to deliver a fatal blow, or at least damage one of his eyes, the champion, upon seeing the axe whistling towards him, knew his fate was sealed. He had simply executed a reaction honed over the years, ingrained into his instincts.
He parried, deflected, used force to shift the opponent’s attack…
and it actually worked!
This had been impossible before!
He had seen battle brothers, even more skilled with swords than himself, attempt this very same move, only to be crushed in a duel of skill and strength, beheaded on the spot.
He’d expected the same fate.
But he’d survived, actually deflecting the axe!
Though his arm went numb from the immense force, and though Bonescrush reacted with a follow-up kick, knocking him to the ground and aiming his gun at his face, ready to execute him… he’d still survived. Just
as he was about to be executed, the mages saved his life. A psychic force deflected Bonescrush’s gun, while another dragged their swordsman champion out of Bonescrush’s reach.
Several champions, led by Ewing and Martins, laid siege, leaving Bonescrush no time to spare.
Bonescrush was truly doomed.
And the more this happened, the more furious the two green-skinned gods in the Warp grew.
Gu Hang considered this a form of impotence.
Regardless, he braved his injuries and repeatedly intercepted the cosmic forces projected by the enemy.
The more anxious Second Brother Gomao became, the more reassured Gu Hang felt.
Until Gu Hang heard the two gods simultaneously let out a mournful, earth-shattering roar.
He could sense the immense grief and anger of the two gods, while in contrast, Gu Hang was filled with ecstasy—did it work?
He took a moment to glance back at the real universe, and was shocked again.
He saw Broken Bone’s head had been severed and was rolling nearby, being sprayed directly in the face by a champion with a melta-thrower, determined to kill it.
But Broken Bone’s headless body continued to swing its axe, furiously exploding.
Xing Tian?!
His first reaction was to wonder if he had missed something when he’d previously intercepted Second Brother Gomao’s power from the lower realms.
But then, judging by Second Brother Gomao’s grief, Gu Hang sensed that this wasn’t the case.
Broken Bone’s current state was more like a manifestation of immense vitality within his body. Even after suffering fatal injuries and a severed head, his body continued to fight, following the inertia of muscle and bone.
One chapter champion, caught off guard, was caught and killed.
But the others could also sense something was amiss with Broken Bone’s current state.
They retreated, and Broken Bone’s body, even trying to pursue him, had no idea where to go. Without his head, his perception was almost null.
His body could only swing his axe in vain, its immense vitality steadily draining away, a rate that accelerated with the constant barrage of artillery and gunfire from the distant humans.
More concrete evidence lies in the rapid decline of Gomao’s power.
They haven’t essentially arrived in Gu Hang’s Kingdom of Storm God. Rather, in the Warp, the concepts of proximity and blocking the entrance are conceptual, and closely tied to the real universe.
Bonebreaker is the source of their power projection. With Bonebreaker’s death, their anchor lost, their power naturally plummeted. While there are still a large number of greenskin Orks in Ankachi and throughout the Omgiria Segmentum, their combined power pales in comparison to Bonebreaker’s
. This, in turn, relieves Gu Hang’s siege. He had originally considered that even if the war in the real universe was won, he wouldn’t know how to deal with the two greenskin gods lurking at his doorstep. But now, it seems, with Bonebreaker’s death, the threat posed by those two gods has also diminished dramatically. However, Gomao’s second brother is currently enraged by the death of his beloved. They blame everything on Gu Hang, believing him to be the murderer—and they are right. Naturally, their rage must be unleashed, and Gu Hang is naturally the one bearing the brunt of it. But what does it matter? Come on. You couldn’t do anything to me when Broken Bones was alive, let alone after Broken Bones died. Gu Hang waited patiently, even while the two were mobilizing their forces and squeezing the Kingdom of God, he was able to take the opportunity to heal his wounds. The pressure from the other side was no longer a big deal. As for how to get rid of these two pieces of dog-skin plaster later…it was actually very simple. Broken Bones was dead now, so they were not a threat. Gu Hang could slowly hold on. Similarly, with Broken Bones’ death, the Orc army of Ankachi, and even the entire Omgeria star field, would inevitably fall into collapse. The human forces would spend months, even years, continuously clearing out the greenskins’ manpower in Omgeria. As the number of greenskins was rapidly reduced, the force that Gomao II could deploy here would be further weakened from its current weak base. Gu Hang was still healing his wounds, recovering his strength. Once he’d recovered enough and Brother Gomao had weakened further, he could try to take the initiative and drive those two annoying creatures away. How long it would take depended on how quickly the Alliance slaughtered the crippled greenskins in the real universe, as well as Gu Hang’s own recovery speed. How could he speed up his recovery? Gu Hang had a nasty idea. He observed the real universe and saw that Broken Bone’s headless body, covered in wounds and bruises, had ceased moving. A psychic message was sent to all S-class psykers and Grit. Led by the ‘Living Saint’, surrounded by six S-class psykers and a magnificent psychic array of dozens of A-class psykers, the Orc King’s head and body were placed together. Although victory wasn’t complete yet—the greenskin forces were disintegrating after Bonebreaker’s death—they were nonetheless highly elite. Even if the sudden realization of Bonebreaker’s death had plunged them into a state of utter fear, their numbers and individual strength meant they wouldn’t surrender. They would still require some effort to defeat them. However, complete victory was only a matter of time. There was nothing wrong with holding the victory ceremony a little earlier. Presided over by the Living Saint, with Bonebreaker’s body and head as the most important trophies of this war and symbols of victory, a somewhat simple yet grand ceremony was held on the battlefield, where the flames of war had yet to fully subside. Even Gomao’s second brother could see that their rage had deepened. The pressure on the Storm Kingdom had increased slightly. Gu Hang simply smiled. ” You’ll be even more angry later, so don’t rush.” The two waited for only ten minutes. The “simple” ceremony concluded, and the shattered corpse, surrounded by numerous psykers, vanished in a golden glow. According to Grit’s propaganda in the real universe, the shattered corpse was a tribute to the Emperor, and had already been taken by the Emperor. In reality, the head and body lay within the Storm Realm. The taste of the Greenskins was different from that of the Zerg’s top units and the Greater Daemons. The Greater Daemons were the most delicious. They were free of all the clutter. Once cleansed of extreme emotions and the marks of the evil gods, tempered by thunder, and reduced to their most basic Warp essence, they became excellent food. The Zerg’s were different. They also had to be shattered, and then, through some unfathomable means, the Zerg units had forcibly stitched together the soul power of countless living organisms, transforming it into pure Warp essence before they could be eaten. The Greenskins’ flavor was even more potent. It tastes spicy, pure aggression, pure war frenzy, and a non-living feeling. However, no matter how it tastes, it can be eaten by slowly disassembling it and digesting it slowly. This will be the most powerful individual that Gu Hang has ever devoured. After it is decomposed and digested, the improvement to the essence of the Kingdom of Storm God will be enormous. And what makes people feel even more refreshed is that all this is done in front of the two green-skinned gods. Doesn’t the power of bone crushing come from the two of them? They became more angry and more irritable. But it did not prevent Gu Hang from slowly enjoying the delicious meal. When he was halfway through the meal, an accident happened.
A flash of purple light appeared, a gentle laugh sounded, and a beautiful scimitar suddenly appeared from the subspace and stabbed into the back of the head of the already weakened but still furious Gomao Erge.
