Chapter 1010 Golden Dragon Wizard: This is the final gift!!

Countless peach blossoms fell on the shoulders of Wizard Maklas, instantly surrounding him in a pink peach blossom ball, which was still spinning.

Peach Blossom Spell!

A Peach Blossom Spell infused with a Great Magic Rune of the Tree of Prosperity!

The Peach Blossom Spell is a concentration of spring magic, representing the prosperity of spring. Countless peach blossoms enveloped Wizard Maklas, attempting to suppress him with powerful magical pressure.

At this moment, a Fire Eye—a model of the Shaping School’s Star Ring Spell—opened on the back of Wizard Maklas’s right hand: the Eye of Fire!

Under

the effect of this Eye of Fire, the world before Wizard Maklas’s eyes completely changed. Spiritual contact is the hidden interaction between all things. Seemingly unrelated things often have unseen, intangible, and unpredictable interactions—this is spiritual contact.

At this moment, before him, there was a spiritual connection between him and every peach blossom, and between each peach blossom. These spiritual connections were of many kinds, not just one.

Some were strong, creating powerful bonds between two objects, like the coupling of elemental particles or the interaction between them. Others were weak, like the special connections between people, known as cause and effect, but this was more of a study in divination. The main focus of the Evocation school was on strong spiritual connections between matter, the power that brought all things together and then separated.

“I see it.”

Captain Maklas’s arm was wreathed in flames. He swung his hand blade, unleashing the ultimate spell, “One Severing Pillar of Fire!”

In an instant, all the strong spiritual connections between Captain Maklas and countless peach blossom petals severed. The magical energy that erupted in that instant far surpassed his own personal energy.

Countless petals instantly turned to dust.

Captain Maclas, amidst the shattered fragments of space, looked at Locke before him, his eyes blazing with fire. He swung his hand blade again. “Mr. Augustine, this should be your first time fighting a fire magic wizard from the Evocation school. But do you know that even when two objects are hundreds of meters apart, a weak but undeniably powerful spiritual connection still exists between them?”

“Changing your distance won’t help.”

He brandished his fire blade.

A pillar of fire erupted!

The next moment, he shattered the powerful spiritual connection between himself and Locke, causing a burst of flames to erupt from Locke’s body.

Locke flew out from the pillar of fire, all of which was absorbed by the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow.

Wizard Maclas glanced at Locke and frowned, because his broken pillar of fire was only based on the most common type of powerful spiritual connection—the Myriad Phenomena Separation Strong Spiritual Connection, which prevents all things from coming together, prevents objects from merging, and distinguishes objects from each other.

Breaking this spiritual connection with fire magic can unleash power that ordinary fire magic does not possess. This is a characteristic that most Star Ring level fire magic has, but ordinary Star Ring wizards cannot use this magic proficiently, while he can already break the Myriad Phenomena Separation Strong Spiritual Connection skillfully.

But he had just tried to use another type of powerful spiritual connection, the Primal Attraction Strong Spiritual Connection, which is the subtle attraction that any existing object has to other objects—that is also a type of spiritual connection.

Perhaps the spell model wasn’t constructed well enough, so the fire magic he generated from separating this strong spiritual connection was too weak, and was actually absorbed by the opponent’s magical plant.

Of course, even strong spiritual connections come in many forms. A spiritual connection isn’t energy, an electric or magnetic field, or even matter; it’s a more hidden function of all things.

It’s an inherent attribute of all things!

Locke, with his student, flew into the sky, widening the distance between themselves and their opponent again. Through their previous exchange, Locke realized that the spiritual connection their opponent was using (Primordial Pull – Spiritual Connection) was at least related to distance. The farther away they were, the weaker this spiritual connection became, and the weaker the fire magic generated from severing this connection was.

Locke looked at the blisters covering the back of his right hand.

As a wizard of the Evocation school, Marklas had grasped the true essence of fire magic at the second ring stage. Although his magic pressure was only slightly over 20,000, similar to mine, his relative level in Spirit Touch was even above mine in Spirit Breath, and also above the two Star Ring wizards before him. “

This flame is preventing my Permanent Defense Field shell from healing quickly. Is it because it’s a profound fire magic generated by broken Spirit Touch?”

Locke turned around and saw a huge pillar of fire erupting behind him.

His Great Magic seemed to be forged to a higher level than mine due to his Spirit Touch. Spirit Touch, Spirit Macro, and Spirit Breath are all rare magics that can significantly improve the forging level of Great Magic at the second ring stage.

Maklas chanted the incantation, and his body slowly transformed into flames, becoming a human torch.

Locke turned his head; he knew that transforming one’s body into real, physical flames, not magical flames, were two different concepts.

Transforming into magical flames was merely an illusion, but completely transforming oneself into flames was different.

It seemed to be an application of extremely profound spiritual techniques.

It was magic completely different from the Transfiguration school!

Maklas used the Fire Spirit Charm to maintain his human torch state, and the power generated by the flames was no slower than that of the Roaring Dragon Sparrow.

The wizard Maklas said, “Mr. Augustine, if you hadn’t been exhausted from continuous fighting, the outcome between us would have been uncertain. But now, your continuous battles have taken their toll, and your spiritual awareness is almost depleted, while mine is at its peak.”

“You should leave your student to me!”

At this moment, the wizard Maklas transformed into a fiery figure streaking across the sky. Simultaneously, he chanted a spell, throwing a pebble at Locke. The pebble, wreathed in flames, suddenly collapsed as it hurtled towards Locke like a shooting star. The spiritual connection that held it in place snapped, and the pebble caved inward, spewing flames outward.

A beam of fire shot out like a ray.

Firestone Spell!

Throwing a stone, it caved inward the instant it hit its target, then the spiritual connection that held it in place snapped, and all the energy from the broken connection exploded into flames.

This was a model of a Star Ring-level fire magic spell, infused with powerful magic runes, used to forge his “One Piece of Fire – Great Magic.”

Locke, manipulating the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow, used the Great Spring Breeze Dragon Sparrow Spell. Like a swallow gracefully turning back in mid-air, he suddenly and nimbly changed direction, while the Firestone Spell fell into empty space—a crack in a spatial rift. Because it missed, it didn’t actually hit Locke, so the Firestone Spell effectively struck the space of the White Cardamom Farm directly.

At this moment, the White Cardamom Farm was already teetering on the brink of collapse.

The next moment, the Firestone Spell’s energy erupted completely—the fire magic power emanating from the collapse of an entire stone directly shattered a large chunk of the White Cardamom Farm’s space, causing the lower-dimensional magic power to be severely weakened further. Wizard Marklas’s expression changed drastically upon seeing this. “

Damn it, how did I attack the White Cardamom Farm?

That magical plant—its mobility was beyond my expectations!”

The wizard Maclas, now a human of fire, finally unleashed his fury. He caught up with Locke, his fiery hand reaching out to grab Locke’s neck, which Locke was holding in his right hand, amidst the horrified gazes of the wizards Moromuta and Plankonia.

In fact, as a fire-magic-focused Star Ring wizard, he could sever Plankonia’s [Resistance of All Things – Spiritual Touch] within half a minute of touching her body, even a single strand of hair, turning her into a dazzling flame.

In that instant, Locke used the Peach Guardian Charm. The Crimson Peach Claw made contact with Locke’s arm, and a burst of flame erupted from its surface.

Leaves withered, and most of the branches burst into flame.

Life magic and fire magic exploded in the air.

The two were temporarily separated.

“I can’t use the Pagoda Broccoli on him,” Locke thought, “otherwise his ultimate spell, ‘One Severed Fire Pillar,’ will instantly burn my entire Pagoda Broccoli and create a fire spell of unimaginable scale.” Similarly, neither the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow Formation nor the Sea Gold Sand Fern Spear could be used.

Locke quickly considered this. These magical plants would all be ignited.

His opponent truly lived up to his reputation as the city defense captain of Starry Sky City and a Star Ring Wizard specializing in fire magic.

If he were at his peak, he could use his two Star Ring bloodlines and two powerful spells to directly clash with Locke, but the result would likely be a narrow victory for him, while both would be severely injured.

Wizard Marklas sensed the power of Locke’s life magic. Transformed into a fire-man, he was secretly alarmed. In the instant of contact with the Peach Guardian Curse, Locke had actually stolen a portion of his flames.

If Locke had fought him from the beginning, at the height of his spiritual awareness, wouldn’t he have been able to steal his fire magic the moment they made contact?

“Mr. Augustine, hand your student over to me! I am the most powerful fire magic wizard in Star City. You cannot protect your student before me! I am losing my patience.” Locke glanced at Maklas

, who was chasing after him. Maklas could generate powerful fire magic by detonating special spiritual connections that maintained repulsion between objects. “

Therefore, if I want to suppress him, I need to achieve the same level in spiritual energy.” And my teacher told me that the most powerful breeder is not the wizard with the most powerful magic, but the wizard who can communicate with plants.

“I need to communicate with the Sky-Piercing Tree.”

But when I tried to communicate before, my spiritual energy automatically became frenzied and dissipated as soon as it came into contact with the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spiritual energy.

At this moment, the White Cardamom Farm was on the verge of complete collapse, and the Sky-Piercing Tree was about to completely detach itself from this place.

Therefore, Maklas Fireman’s flight speed increased. He wanted to turn Planknia into flames before that happened and stop all of this from happening.

As the wizard Maclas rapidly pursued Locke through the air, flames erupted from his entire body, and his eyes blazed.

He chanted a special incantation, drawing upon the spiritual energy of the Truth Plant, the Sky-Piercing Tree, to boost his magic pressure by at least 500 points.

At the Star Ring stage, a difference of 500 points in magic pressure is a world of difference.

Then, he summoned three flints before him.

These were three flint spells.

Maclas the Fireman said, “Since that’s the case, I won’t hold back, Mr. Augustine.”

“If the Sky-Piercing Tree is uprooted from the Cardamom Farm, it will die. Our key laboratory will also be destroyed. Compared to that, the life of a first-ring wizard student, while originally important, can be sacrificed in this situation.”

The three flints attacked from behind Locke, targeting Locke and the witch Plankonia, directly engulfing them.

Realizing Locke was unlikely to abandon his student, Maclas changed his strategy, deciding to attack both of them directly.

In his view, Locke couldn’t possibly die from this attack; after all, a second-ring wizard’s permanent defensive field shell was quite powerful. At most, he’d be seriously injured, while Planknia would die from it.

But the next moment, Captain Maclas’s pupils suddenly contracted, because Locke abruptly stopped flying and stood still, brandishing his Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow, turning and hovering in mid-air, looking at him.

Why?

Had he given up resisting?

How could he dare remain stationary in the face of a raging Star Ring-level fire magic?

Under Captain Maklas’s horrified gaze, Locke calmly turned around.

Captain Maklas immediately sensed something was wrong. A prophetic artifact on his left middle finger flashed a warning magical light, preventing him from giving chase and causing him to hover in mid-air.

“This is—Advanced Meditation? You’re using meditation at this time? You’re entering a state of no-thought during battle?”

This was as absurd as someone suddenly wanting to fall asleep halfway through a fight.

Once Advanced Meditation is used, the mind is completely immersed in a meditative state, thoughts become a flow, merging with the Force of the universe, comprehending the mysteries of the Force.

But this state should not be used during battle; that’s suicidal.

In this state, even the magical power of the Permanent Defensive Field Shell weakens because when a wizard fully opens their mind and body, merging with the Force’s flow, most of their energy is in a meditative state. Therefore, this is when a wizard’s defense is weakest. “

Damn it!”

Captain Maklas’s expression changed drastically because killing a first-ring wizard and killing a star-ring wizard genius are two completely different things.

Especially since Locke was a core member the Academic Committee wanted to recruit, a direct student of the Red Dragon Throne, while he was a student of the White Dragon Throne, and a senior of the Preston Witch. If Locke were killed now, even he would be in deep trouble.

Locke suddenly spoke up, “Don’t worry.”

Locke said, “Mr. Maclas, if a student’s life can be sacrificed, then what has our Golden Crown Mountain upheld for thousands of years? In the pure-blood era, why did we fight against the ‘heaven’ of that time?”

Three flints hit Locke. Strangely, at that moment, the flames generated by the explosion of the three flints did not erupt instantly, but instead swirled around the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow behind Locke.

Locke said, “Could it be that our ancestors of Golden Crown Mountain didn’t know how to make a choice?”

Shock flashed in Maclas’s eyes. He looked at the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow behind Locke, which had absorbed the flames of his three flint spells, and his mind went blank for a moment.

He mentally calculated the power of the flames several times. Logically, no matter how excellent the second-ring magical plant was, it would only be reduced to charcoal in an instant under these circumstances.

Locke extended his palm. “Mr. Maclas,” he said, “you said the Sky-Piercing Tree would wither and die if it left the White Cardamom Farm, so why do I feel its exuberance right now?”

Wizard Maclas saw a tree appear behind Locke.

The tree stretched from heaven to earth, its energy drawing in all things. Its branches and leaves transformed into a sky full of stars, each leaf shining like a star in the night.

This was the Truth Magical Plant—the Sky-Piercing Tree.

Shock flashed in Wizard Maclas’s eyes.

“Could it be that you’ve connected with the spirit of the Sky-Piercing Tree?”

“Is this some kind of technique where spirits merge?”

“You’ve merged with the spirit of the Sky-Piercing Tree? But—why is that?”

Wizard Makras said, “I’m trying to save it! I’m trying to save it, and it’s helping you!”

Wizard Makras then realized that the Sky-Piercing Tree hadn’t blessed him at all; instead, it had blessed Locke. The wizard who had increased his magic pressure by 500 points wasn’t him, but the wizard Locke Augustine before him!

Locke closed his eyes. In his most critical moment, he suddenly realized that the moment his spirit touched the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spirit, it would scatter due to the chaos. So, if he used an advanced meditation technique and entered a meditative state, wouldn’t he be able to solve this problem, maintaining the calmness of his spirit while interacting with the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spirit?

The moment he realized this, he involuntarily entered meditation, and the instant he entered this meditation, the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spirit actively merged with his own.

The life force of both merged together.

Thus, a spiritual connection was formed.

The Heavenly Tree contained numerous spiritual energies, and it bestowed upon itself a special one. This special spiritual energy, upon entering the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow, seemed to grant the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow a unique ability to control flames. Therefore, the flames ignited by the explosion of Maclas’s three Firestone Curses not only didn’t spiral out of control but also automatically entered its Great Crying Dragon Sparrow.

Locke saw that his Great Crying Dragon Sparrow seemed to have undergone some subtle mutation. Of course, it was only a single spiritual energy; it couldn’t possibly cause a magical plant to mutate.

At most, the Heavenly Tree, through itself, had empowered the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow, temporarily granting it some special abilities.

But he possessed his most proficient skill—evolutionary magic—the Great Magic: Evolution Moon!

At this moment, the moonlight of the Evolution Moon shone upon the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow, causing it to frantically absorb special spiritual energy and undergo a unique evolution. The Sky-Full Tree, far from refusing, provided even more of that special spiritual energy, and even further offered a plane principle related to that special spiritual energy.

The Moon Cultivation Method allows magical plants to interact with plane principles, resulting in a surge of evolution!

Locke finally understood the Sky-Full Tree’s meaning.

It had only one meaning:

it wanted to leave the White Cardamom Farm.

Because if it stayed here, the Sky-Full Tree would wither. This principle was beyond the understanding of the man before him, but Locke, as a breeder, now understood.

“Crack~”

With a cracking sound emanating from the depths of space, the entire farm shattered completely, revealing the location where the Sky-Full Tree was planted at its core. There, the Sky-Full Tree had been uprooted, with only one last root remaining in the soil, and several chains acting as seals connected to its roots, preventing it from leaving.

Locke looked at the wizard Mark Hughes before him and said, “I have already experienced the power of fire magic.” “

Then let me show you the power of magic from the most powerful Star Ring Wizard Breeder in Star City.”

The form of the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow behind Locke changed accordingly. Its banana leaves became entirely crimson, its imaginary dragon horns grew even larger, the entire banana tree nearly doubled in size, and its aerial dragon tail became even longer. At the same time, a second special imaginary root grew from this magical plant, resembling a bird feather, hanging among the banana leaves.

This crimson feather allowed the magical plant to continuously draw spiritual energy from the imaginary sea, the special spiritual energy bestowed upon it by the Sky-Full Tree.

This special spiritual energy seemed to naturally absorb flames and high temperatures, converting these into the magical plant’s energy.

Locke realized that this might be a kind of protective energy similar to Water-Attracting Spiritual Energy,

but far more powerful. Even Star Ring-level magical flames were controlled by this special spiritual energy.

Locke sensed that it was the Sky-Piercing Tree secretly crossing the White Cardamom Farm, connecting with the spirituality of all living beings in the void, and then obtaining a special spiritual energy in a plane within the void. This should be the first time it has appeared in the wizarding world.

Locke’s acquisition of this magical plant, the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow, was entirely thanks to the full support of the Sky-Piercing Tree. The Tree provided him with this special spiritual energy and the corresponding dimensional principles—principles intentionally modified by the Sky-Piercing Tree—allowing Locke to successfully cultivate the plant using the Moon Cultivation Method on his first attempt. Not only successful, but this new flying magical plant was also extremely powerful. “

My teacher’s Four Sacred Blessings include the name of the Vermilion Bird Divine Beast, so I’ll name this spiritual energy Vermilion Bird Spiritual Energy,”

Locke concluded, completing the naming. The new magical plant could be called the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow!

At this moment, Maclas Fireman attempted to attack Locke with flames, but all his fire magic was absorbed by the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow, which was fully empowered by the Sky-Piercing Tree.

Locke, meanwhile, swung his Crimson Gold Sacred Peach Claw, using the Peach Guardian Spell, striking Maclas, whose fire magic was being suppressed by the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow.

Maclas’s pupils suddenly contracted. “Is this how you breeders fight?”

The next moment, he was sent flying by Locke, his whereabouts unknown.

At the same time, the magic chains sealing the base of the Sky Tree finally broke due to the passage of time.

The Sky Tree officially detached from the earth, and in that instant, the White Cardamom Farm completely collapsed.

Inside the spatial portal, the wizard Guberdin, who was leading the Alarite Legion and fighting the Fairy Dragon, turned to look at the completely collapsed White Cardamom Farm, his eyes bloodshot.

“What are you doing? What are the High Ring Wizards doing?”

“It’s over.” “

It’s all over.”

“Everything is over.”

“No!”

Wizard Guberdin’s eyes turned red. He activated his Great Magic – Sky Curtain, transferring all the Alarite people and Fairy Dragons present from this meaningless gap between dimensions to the location of Locke, the witch Planknia, and the wizard Moromota.

The wizard Guberdin’s eyes widened in horror as he clutched his head, almost unable to believe what he was seeing.

He knelt on the ground, tears streaming down his face.

“My people have protected this place for tens of thousands of years, never making a mistake, and now everything is destroyed. What are you trying to do? Why didn’t the high-ring wizards stop

you?” “Why? Golden Dragon Wizard, I’m so sorry. All your hard work has been wasted. These descendants are unfilial. He destroyed all your efforts. The descendants are unfilial!”

The wizard Guberdin waved his hand, numbly fulfilling his duty, using the Great Magic – Sky Curtain to teleport the fire magic wizards Maklas, Maxius, and Antiochus, who had been knocked out of the small world by Locke, back to their original world, preventing them from being trapped in the meaningless space and never being able to return as the farm collapsed.

Guberdin knelt on the ground, seemingly completely heartbroken.

The wizard Moromota discovered that the spatial cage trapping him had shattered due to the wizard Guberdin’s loss of focus. He hurriedly flew towards Planknia’s direction, whispering a sentence as he passed Guberdin.

“I’m sorry.”

Guberdin, however, remained silent, his eyes vacant.

The Alarit people behind him looked sorrowful and at a loss.

Fairy Dragon hesitated, unable to speak.

At this moment, in the very heart of the farm, where the Sky-Piercing Tree was planted, something seemed to crawl out.

Many wizards from Golden Crown Mountain stood on the spatial fragments and witnessed this scene.

“What is that? How could such an evil force enter the core area of our key laboratory?”

“That is—”

“This is impossible.”

Locke looked in that direction, and all three captains of Star City looked in that direction as well. The three of them exchanged bewildered glances, and only now did they finally understand why the White Cardamom Farm had to be destroyed.

At the Golden Crown Mountain, during the academy meeting, the Overlord Throne’s face was ashen.

Catherine the Witch announced, “The results of the Third Ring Wizards’ vote are now announced: it’s a no-go. Proceed immediately with

the resolution—the resolution to rescue the White Cardamom Farm is not passed.”

The Fist King glared at Elder Henry, the old headmaster of Lu Xu Bridge.

He had assumed the old man was there to help him.

Who knew the old headmaster would simply vote against it?

Dean Henry took a sip of wizard’s tea and said calmly, “I won’t defend my actions. I do indeed clash with the witch Catherine, and I disagree with many of her views. But she still convinced me. She presented evidence showing that the Cardamom Farm did more harm than good to Mount Golden Crown.”

“Ultimately, I also feel that Mount Golden Crown’s key breeding laboratory shouldn’t be reduced to a virtual dimension. Mount Golden Crown’s breeding science has been greatly harmed by this virtual dimension.”

Throne of the Fist said, “So, old Henry, do you admit that Catherine planned this all along?”

Old Henry said, “No, it was all an accident.”

“I’m just saying that the concerns Catherine expressed to me before, I think, are indeed convincing.”

“And convincing to everyone else as well.”

Throne of the Fist looked up at the other third-ring wizards at the academy meeting.

These third-ring wizards discussed among themselves, explaining their reasons for voting against it.

“I also think the Cardamom Farm is obsolete. We previously felt that the farm had received a lot of investment, resulting in excessive sunk costs. But now that it’s come to this, there’s really no point in trying to save it.” “

The biggest drawback of the Cardamom Farm is that it traps wizards in the ‘Virtual Forging’ problem. While it is indeed very useful, the question is how many wizards have been trapped in the Star Ring forever because of it?” “

For us third-ring wizards, this thing is just an ordinary tool, usable, but it’s far too damaging to our academy’s second-ring wizards. It’s not that no one questioned it before, but building a key laboratory wasn’t easy, so everyone made do. But now that it’s like this, there’s really no need.” “

I think—well, the vote is over, let’s leave it at that. The current situation is that the Cardamom Farm was destroyed due to the Senate’s experimental error.”

The Overlord Throne’s face darkened upon hearing this.

The Three Fist Thrones were speechless.

They hadn’t expected things to come to this; who knew the Red Dragon Throne would act so decisively?

The Fist King looked at the Red Dragon Witch and said, “Alright, Katya, you win. Now the farm is gone, just as you wish. Now, are you going to develop the super planet with us?”

“As compensation, I can decide to give half of the ancient planet’s territory to your Academic Committee. The remaining part will be split equally between us and the Deacon Group. This matter will be settled then. Do you agree to this deal?”

The Witch Catherine looked at him questioningly.

“Why should I make a deal with you?”

Amidst the ruins of the soon-to-disappear farm, many wizards witnessed the uprooting of the Sky-High Tree, and from its former location emerged—spirits.

The White Cardamom Farm should have been the place with the richest life magic, yet here, spirits had appeared.

The wizards were all abuzz with disbelief.

This wasn’t just counterintuitive;

it was utterly shocking.

The White Cardamom Farm, logically speaking, was the least likely place for spirits.

Yet, spirits were present.

This indicated that the White Cardamom Farm had likely suffered a serious problem long ago. No one knew when those skeletons had lived beneath the Sky-High Tree, and many wizards speculated that the tree’s withering was related to those spirits.

Locke saw Planknia, the wizard Moromuta, and the Iron Tree, through their marriage rings, combine their powers and fly outwards.

“Teacher—” the witch Plankonia cried.

Locke quickly reassured her, “It’s alright.”

These three forces must have been designed by his teacher, intended to guide the Sky-Piercing Tree to a new location, so Locke immediately judged that Plankonia was out of danger.

The most dangerous moment had passed.

As spirits appeared beneath the Sky-Piercing Tree, all the wizards of Golden Crown Mountain were drawn to them.

Locke felt the spiritual energy of the Sky-Piercing Tree emanating from him vanish, and he quickly felt fatigue and decline.

Locke looked at the skeletal spirits and discovered they were actually holographic spirits.

The fire magic wizard Maclas Fireman looked in that direction.

“How is that possible—holographic undead—indeed, if they were holographic undead, they wouldn’t be suppressed by life magic, but holographic undead, yes, what’s the difference between holographic undead and holographic magical plants—” “

As the captain of the Starry Sky City defense force, I actually allowed these undead to live under my nose for so many years. Could it be that Mr. Augustine, you knew all along, and you weren’t causing trouble, but rather setting things right?”

The chubby breeder Maxius gasped.

“There are undead in the farm, right beneath the Sky-Piercing Tree. What have we been doing all these years? If we were unaware of their existence, how much impact has it had on our breeding experiments? How much control do they have over the farm? If this accident hadn’t happened, wouldn’t these undead have continued to live with us? How long have we been living with these undead?”

Star City Grand Judge Antiochus seemed to have expected this. He was a wizard from the Red Dragon lineage, and he had played a significant role in carrying out his teacher’s mission to destroy the key laboratory.

Seeing this scene was entirely expected.

Because he was inside the key laboratory, where prophetic magic was isolated, the witch Catherine had informed him of part of the plan beforehand; otherwise, many things wouldn’t have gone so smoothly.

At this moment, in the core area, the undead died one by one as the farm crumbled.

These holographic undead, like the holographic magical plants, seemed

highly dependent on the rules of this place.

One of the dwarf skeletons suddenly solidified, its eyes glowing red.

“Heh, you want to ask me how long we’ve been together? Hahaha—how dare you ask such a question. This laboratory is full of scattered forms. Even if you’re pretending this is a laboratory, to me, this is my food.”

High Judge Antiochus, transformed into a dragon demon, looked at him and said, “Who are you? A dark wizard?”

The skeleton chuckled, “I am not such a lowly thing.”

“I am the Lord of Rules. I am the Master of Laws, the Ruler of Forms. Where there are laws, there I am. Thanks to this laboratory for feeding me for so many years. Over the past ten thousand years, I have been driven to the brink of despair several times, and it is thanks to your farm that I have survived. This virtual laboratory is truly a great replenishment of my power. However, all good things must come to an end.”

The skeleton said, “Since the farm is destroyed, I, this uninvited guest, can only leave. Or rather, I have no choice but to leave—”

Locke suddenly shouted in the direction of the skeleton, “Lich God, you haven’t been born yet, have you?”

The skeleton looked at Locke, his eyes showing doubt.

“It seems you’ve met with the other forms of the Lich God. Heh, a Star Ring Wizard dares to meet with the Lord of Forms? Are you tired of living? The Star Ring stage is the easiest…

“

“You seem to possess a power I despise. Hahaha, so that’s it, those guys. You’re mistaken, I am not the Lich God. At this point in time, the Lich God has not yet been born. I am merely a form.”

The next moment, Locke summoned Alfonso’s golden sword.

In an instant, the golden sword pierced the undead’s head.

The undead screamed, all forms crumbling, the holographic undead body disintegrating.

“The Lord of Laws will soon descend upon the wizarding world. All laws of the world will submit to the Lord of Laws, whether it be the destruction of the world, the creation of the world, or any other laws concerning the world. If you wise people know what’s good for you, you should bow down and submit to the dead, to the new era.

The day the laws descend will be the day the wizarding world is reshaped. O masters of all laws, when will your glory descend to save this world from destruction? This golden sword—it can completely destroy me, me as a form.” “

Lord of Laws, save me—”

“No—white wizards, don’t be too happy. If there is nothing in this era that can summon our existence, why should we awaken in this era?”

The next moment, the dead shattered.

At the same time, Locke ignored the astonished looks of his colleagues, for standing before him was the Golden Dragon Wizard. The next moment, the Golden Dragon Wizard seemed to enter his spiritual realm.

Locke and the Golden Dragon Wizard arrived at a place filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers.

This seemed to be the place of the Golden Dragon Wizard’s memories.

Locke looked at the Golden Dragon Wizard with considerable wariness. Beneath the Sky-Piercing Tree lurked powerful undead, while the planter—

the Golden Dragon Wizard, now appearing as a kind old man—sat on a grassy hillside and smiled at Locke, saying, “I am not an undead.

I am merely a lingering trace of spirit; I am not even the Golden Dragon Wizard. The Golden Dragon Wizard is dead. Only the most foolish person in this world would forgo reincarnation and become an undead. Of course, if someone understands the difference between substance and form, yet still chooses to do so, then there is another possibility. He does not pursue truth; he pursues something else.”

The Golden Dragon Wizard said to Locke, “However, even for this wisp of my spirit, it’s time to say goodbye. Locke Augustine, before I depart, I’d like to have a word with you. When I planted the Sky-Piercing Tree here, it was only meant to solve an immediate problem. I thought that future generations, if they were capable, would surely move the tree themselves.” “

I know there’s a problem with the farm. But I trust in the wisdom of future generations.”

“But I didn’t expect that you descendants would be so incompetent. So much time has passed, and yet the undead have still managed to infiltrate, resulting in a Red Dragon and you. You two audacious fellows dared to move my tree.”

Although the Golden Dragon Wizard’s words seemed to be a reprimand, he was actually all smiles, his face crinkled with wrinkles, clearly in a very pleasant mood.

The Golden Dragon Wizard looked at Locke and smiled, “In the entire Golden Crown Mountain, I actually only have one successor—Catherine.”

“If only she had been my student back then. The legacy of Eastern Emperor Mountain—”

“So be it, the past is gone with the wind.”

The Golden Dragon Wizard’s figure gradually disappeared before his eyes.

“Locke, that spiritual aura is a gift I give you. This is my final gift. Do not give up the pursuit of truth.”
