Chapter 1009 People will always be united!

A massive crack had appeared at the heart of the White Cardamom Farm. In reality, the flower in the Sky Garden, which contained the entire space of the White Cardamom Farm, began to spray crimson spiritual energy outwards. This energy constantly shifted and seemed to be forming a magical plant. It was a fourth-ring magical plant—a Truth-level magical plant—the Sky-Piercing Tree.

As this energy began to form the Sky-Piercing Tree, it signified that the True Magical Plant, originally rooted in the White Cardamom Farm, was transferring its spiritual essence to the mortal world. This transfer meant the magical plant was getting closer and closer to reality, and the gathering of this spiritual essence would attract the transfer of the plant’s true form. This scene was displayed at the Golden Crown Mountain Academy meeting. The Overlord Throne Wizard stood there, his face dark. He knew that any further words would be useless.

This was because the conflict between his faction in the Senate and the Academic Committee faction led by the Witch Catherine had resulted in the movement of the Sky-Piercing Tree; on the surface, it even appeared to be a provocation on his part.

The Overlord even sensed the suspicious looks from several fourth-ring wizards.

The Fist King spoke, “Everyone, the best course of action now is to recover the losses as quickly as possible. Most of us here have clones in the White Cardamom Farm. If we act collectively, we should be able to easily resolve this matter.”

At this moment, the Green Dragon King’s witch said, “Then let’s proceed with the voting.”

The Green Dragon King said, “Please let Throne Ekaterina preside over the discussion. Everyone will vote to decide whether all the third-ring wizards should act collectively to repair the Truth Plant: the Sky-Piercing Tree.”

(Please remember Taiwan Novel Network to relieve boredom, t̆̈̆̈w̆̈̆̈k̆̈̆̈̆̈ă̈̆̈n̆̈̆̈.c̆̈̆̈ŏ̈̆̈m̆̈̆̈ etc. to find the website and read the fastest chapter updates)

The three kings looked at each other, because the fourth-ring wizards didn’t handle things, so those who came to the academy meeting were all clones. All administrative affairs and non-particularly important general matters are decided by these Throne Wizards.

Throne of the Fist nodded, for this was logical; the Academy meeting needed to synthesize the ideas of all high-ring wizards before a collective vote, and the result of this meeting was equivalent to the collective approval of all wizards.

Therefore, he needed to contend with the witch Catherine for the right to preside over and begin the Academy meeting.

This was a very important right.

Throne of the Fist looked at the many third-ring wizards and said, “At this moment, I support immediately cleaning up the mess at all costs and saving the Sky Tree.” At this moment, as long as the many third-ring wizards’ avatars at the Cardamom Farm acted collectively, the problem could still be solved, and the crisis could be suppressed, but the Senate’s idea of disrupting the Academic Committee’s only key laboratory would actually be realized.

Catherine the Witch met his gaze, their eyes clashing, sparks flying between them.

Catherine was about to speak

when someone pushed open the door and entered. The newcomer wore the robes of a wizard from Lu Xu Bridge; he was the Throne Wizard from Lu Xu Bridge, and also its headmaster.

This elderly wizard, with a slightly aged appearance, smiled and stroked his beard.

The headmaster of Lu Xu Bridge carried a distinctive scent of tea.

“It seems I haven’t arrived too late. Since it’s a vote by all the three-ring wizards of the academy, then I can join as well. Red Dragon Throne, Tyrant Fist Throne.” Tyrant Fist Wizard’s eyes lit up, for this headmaster of Lu Xu Bridge was a longtime friend, a close confidant, and this man had clashed with Catherine the Witch on several occasions.

He held considerable prestige within Golden Crown Mountain, being the headmaster of Lu Xu Bridge.

The Tyrant Fist Wizard said, “Old Henry, what brings you here? You’ve come at the perfect time. We need your help now.” The Tyrant Fist Wizard’s eyes lit up. He knew that Catherine the Witch, for some reason, was unwilling to repair the Sky-Piercing Tree. Although he had used a feigned retreat, offering his full support to the Academic Committee, Catherine could have many reasons to say that repair was impossible.

This matter couldn’t be stopped.

He had already anticipated the Red Dragon Throne’s intentions.

In the end, his feigned retreat was useless; he would still have to take the blame.

Clearly, the greatest responsibility lay with him.

He had to immediately shift the blame.

At least he couldn’t be targeted by the Red Dragon Throne. But now, with Dean Lu Xuqiao of the Academy, the most famous tea master of Yunze Wetlands, Henry the Old Wizard, offering his assistance, his prestige could even sow discord among the wizards on the Academic Committee. He knew that Old Henry had close personal relationships with most of the members of the Five-Colored Dragon Thrones on the Academic Committee.

Thus, he actually had a chance to turn the tide and render Catherine the Witch’s surprise attack ineffective.

Old Henry, pleased with the welcome from the Fist-Brawler Wizard, nodded. “We are also wizards of Golden Crown Mountain, how could we not be here on such an occasion?”

Catherine the Witch snorted coldly, glanced at the Fist-Brawler Wizard and Old Henry, and said, “Then let’s proceed with the vote.”

“Everyone, please state your opinions.”

In the White Cardamom Farm, Locke, accompanied by the witch Plankonia, passed through the spatial portals of the Alarite people, leaving the meaningless crevice and returning to the small world at the end of a star track. The moment Locke and Plankonia landed in the small world, he heard a cracking sound coming from the distant star track.

The vast and magnificent star track suddenly broke, like a broken road, with shattered magical energy and materials falling into the distance. Behind the spatial portal, a battle was taking place between the Fairy Dragon and the Alarite wizarding army. Although the Fairy Dragon was a third-ring being, the Alarite army, through magical coordination and the mobilization of the spiritual energy of the countless fighting trees, had temporarily achieved a stalemate with her.

Locke said, “It seems those Alarite people are still showing me mercy.”

Indeed, there was no deep-seated hatred between the two sides, and both were core members of the Academic Committee faction. Locke was even more core to the Academic Committee, so the Alarite army had no need to use excessive magic against him.

The previous battle between the two sides had been relatively restrained.

“After this matter is over, I will release the Alarit people who have been taken into my Pagoda Broccoli,”

Locke said.

At the same time, Locke felt a force surging towards him. Locke was extremely surprised. He then noticed that the incompletely digested dragon crystal energy swirling around the iron tree in the small world was now automatically converging towards him.

Was this something the Green Dragon Throne had planned all along?

Under the infusion of the magic power of this true dragon crystal, his Abyss Dragon bloodline was rapidly maturing, transforming from a semi-finished product into a complete one. Its individual magic pressure as the Star Ring Magic Pressure was also slowly but steadily increasing.

A heart-shaped spell flashed across Locke’s forehead, and Locke saw the witch Catherine before him.

The witch Catherine slowly walked towards him, extending her hand. She said to him in a serious voice, “Locke, you must trust me.”

“Locke, this matter is very difficult. Can you trust me?”

Locke felt the energy transformed from the dragon crystal constantly replenishing his bloodline power.

“Teacher, why wouldn’t I trust you? If I couldn’t trust you, I would have died during the Dragon Wizard incident.”

Locke knew who Catherine the Witch was. She aspired to the highest power on Mount Golden Crown and to become a fourth-circle wizard. She managed her academic lineage and even established a special fund.

Even if she was only acting out of self-interest, she would never abandon the students who bore heavy responsibilities for her. Otherwise, her academic lineage would be severely damaged in an instant, and her network of relationships and even the foundation of her power would be affected, because she would be seen as incapable of protecting her core students. Therefore, even if he were acting rationally, it was absolutely the most sensible thing for him to do to stand firmly on the side of the teacher who had given him the sub-project. Because retreating would only lead to danger and becoming a victim of the clash between the two major forces.

Moving forward, on the other hand, would allow him to become a true representative of one of the academic lineages.

Secondly, Locke and Catherine the Witch had been through quite a lot together. He knew the Red Dragon Witch’s character and was grateful for her help on his path to becoming a wizard.

Catherine the Witch looked at Locke, her eyes filled with surprise. She saw no hesitation, no doubt, in his eyes. She had even prepared herself for Locke to question her, because this time was different. Last time, she could say she had merely used Locke’s life-or-death crisis.

But this time, she had given Locke a key sub-project, drawing him into the very center of this vortex of conflict.

Yet Locke hadn’t asked a single question.

This was absolute trust, the best gift a student could give their teacher.

Catherine the Witch fell silent. She possessed keen insight into human nature, able to see the most sordid thoughts in the hearts of many witches. She understood human nature and was therefore adept at using power to control opponents and allies. But now, faced with Locke’s trust, Catherine the Witch felt a sense of helplessness. Even Trajan, Georta, or Heidegger, while trusting her, would hesitate when faced with her scheme, asking questions at crucial moments to clarify their rights and obligations. But Locke didn’t ask a single question. Although

asking or not asking made little difference,

Catherine the Witch was still grateful for Locke’s trust.

In return, Catherine didn’t want to betray that trust; familiar with human nature, she knew how hard-won this trust was—a truth indeed.

The witch Catherine said, “Locke, I will repay your trust with the same trust I have in you.” “

I entrusted this task to you for two reasons. First, only you are capable of it; you are the victor of the special grant. Of course, I could have given the sub-project to someone else, to Zeno, or other wizards, but I believe their character is insufficient to support such a task. You possess the same potential as Trajan; among my lineage, among wizards of your generation, only you have achieved something.” “Second, this will also benefit you greatly. You will further refine your illusory forging here.”

Catherine continued, “Locke, I’ll teach you a little trick. Close your eyes and feel the emotions of the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is a tree of vitality; it once guided our ancestors, the Golden Dragon Wizard, to the future amidst utter despair on Golden Crown Mountain. It was a prophecy; the Golden Dragon Wizard read the following prophecy from the Tree of Life’s guidance: ‘He will build a mountain, and among those mountains, a new world will be established, and people will be united forever.'”

“According to this prophecy, the Golden Dragon Wizard united the most powerful energy master and the most powerful weather master of the time to establish Golden Crown Mountain.” “Locke, you must carefully sense the feelings of the Sky-Piercing Tree. It will guide you, if all of this is what it desires, just as it guided me. Only wizards with a certain level of perception of nature can directly sense the Sky-Piercing Tree’s guidance. But if it’s you, perhaps you can do it.”

“The most powerful breeder is not the wizard with the strongest magic, but the wizard who can communicate with all plants.”

The next moment, within the Heart Spell, the phantom of the witch Catherine shattered, and the remaining Heart Spell magic on Locke’s forehead was completely suppressed. Locke’s pupils suddenly shrank as he looked at the three Star Ring Wizards before him.

The three Star Ring Wizards before him wore the wizard robes of Starry Sky City; their magic pressure was around 20,000, lower than that of the previous wizard, Guberdin.

These three Star Ring Wizards were clearly native to Starry Sky City. After becoming second-ring wizards, they chose not to leave but to live here permanently. As a price, they naturally signed special contracts to become employees of Golden Crown Mountain stationed in Starry Sky City. At this moment, a breeder stretched out his palm, manipulating a magical plant. The plant suppressed the Heart-Shaped Curse, which had already lost most of its power in the previous battle against the Dragon Wizard.

Locke saw that what was in his palm was a broken heart walnut.

Walnut-type magical plants and peach-type magical plants cannot be planted together because walnut-type magical plants generally secrete a natural magical structural component called [Asphyxiating Juglandone]. [Asphyxiating Juglandone] is a killer of peach-type magical plants. Once a peach-type magical plant inhales it, its leaves will turn yellow, its growth will stop, and it will eventually wither and die.

【Asphyxiating Juglandone】, a natural magical structural component, is the core ingredient of the 【Asphyxiation Charm】 in the Conjuration School and the 【Overbreathing】 in the Evocation School’s Air Magic.

Walnut-type magical plants are effective against all rose-type magical plants because Asphyxiating Juglandone has specific damage effects on all rose-type magical plants. At this moment, the breeder used a walnut-type magical plant to suppress the Peach Heart Charm on himself.

Similarly, the opponent was clearly targeting his Crimson Gold Peach. In this way, he was essentially rendered ineffective by the opponent’s 【Peach Guardian Charm】 and the 【Peach Heart Charm】 with its greatly enhanced magical runes. Even the Peach Bow Thorn Arrow would be suppressed, as it required the Crimson Gold Peach.

However, once the Crimson Gold Peach was injected with 【Asphyxiating Juglandone】, every cell of the Crimson Gold Peach would be forced into a state of suffocation. This breeder wore a seemingly friendly smile and was quite easygoing; his face was chubby, like a little fat man. “Mr. Augustine truly lives up to his reputation as a young talent of Mount Golden Crown, the recipient of the Silent Grail, and the owner of special funding and key sub-projects. We often hear people say how excellent wizards are outside, that the outside world is the real world, but to me, that’s all bullshit.”

The breeder’s smile vanished.

“I am Maxius, a wizard born and raised in Starry Sky City, belonging to the Academic Committee faction. I am the most powerful breeder in Starry Sky City, with many years of experience cultivating the Sacred Walnut. I am the leader of the Starry Sky City Witcher Corps, and the person in charge and creator of the Starry Sky City Botany curriculum.” “I humbly request guidance from Mr. Augustine, the most renowned wizarding genius of Golden Crown Mountain.”

Beside him, a middle-aged wizard wreathed in flames spoke up: “I am the captain of the Starry Sky City Defense Force, and the person in charge and creator of the Starry Sky City Evocation School curriculum. I request Mr. Augustine to hand over your student.”

“You can call me Maclas. I am the most powerful fire mage in Starry Sky City.”

Another wizard smiled broadly, his body enveloped in holy light. Suddenly, his upper body muscles bulged, bursting his wizard’s robes and revealing a body as hard as steel beneath.

“I am Antiochus, a dragonblood wizard specializing in the bloodline path of the spellcasting school. I am the president of the Dragonblood Society of Starry Sky City, the presiding judge of the Holy Court, and the supervisor of the Dragonblood course in Starry Sky City. I am the most powerful bloodline wizard in Starry Sky City—I mean bloodline magic, not magical bloodline. Mr. Augustine, your bloodline is truly powerful; I can’t believe you’re not a bloodline wizard.” Antiochus was the most polite to Locke because he could sense the incredibly powerful true dragon bloodline within Locke. He smiled and said, “Mr. Augustine, we understand your eagerness to protect your student. Please entrust this student to us first. We’ll examine her condition together and perhaps find a way to resolve her problem. This will be better for everyone.”

Antiochus, Marcus, and Maxius

were the three most powerful wizards in Starry Sky City besides Lord Guberdin, all Star Ring Wizards, each belonging to their respective three specializations.

Each of them held several important positions in Starry Sky City.

Each of them was renowned within the Cardamom Farm, and their gazes towards Locke held a hint of provocation and competition. They had heard too many claims that Cardamom Farm was merely a small place, not even truly part of the wizarding world, and that only by leaving and venturing into the real wizarding world could they go further.

Locke and Augustine were frequently cited as examples.

Therefore, although Locke had never met these three, they had long harbored the desire to challenge him and see which wizard was truly more powerful.

The witch Planknia lay at Locke’s feet, her expression dazed, half-conscious, half-unconscious. At this moment, she seemed quite remorseful, weakly saying to Locke, “Teacher, I’m sorry…it’s all my fault. Please let me face this myself, it’s all my…fault.”

Nearby, the wizard Moromuta, trapped in a spatial cage, frantically pounded on the cage above this small world, seemingly very anxious. Locke smiled, gently stroking her forehead. Then, a Great Crying Dragon Sparrow appeared behind her.

Locke said, “Silly child, is this your fault?”

“Don’t worry, just think of it as a nap. None of this has anything to do with you. This is not a mistake you can make.”

Locke spoke frankly, lest Planknia believe she was responsible for everything. What could a mere vaporization stage wizard like her do about such a huge event?

She was merely a victim of factional conflict between the Senate and the Academic Committee.

She couldn’t even control her own fate. Locke believed that making his student believe that everything was her fault would be too harsh.

The Great Crying Dragon Sparrow was enchanted with the Great Spring Breeze Dragon Sparrow Spell. Locke snapped his fingers, and a spring breeze swept through, instantly giving the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow the spring breeze, allowing it to accelerate rapidly and fly out of the small world.

Meanwhile, Locke retrieved one hundred Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies from his Astral Ring, each adorned with Attila’s lightning chains. These one hundred Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies formed an array, their symbiotic multi-eyed pineapples interconnected, ultimately forming a network controlled by the multi-eyed pineapple worn in Locke’s left eye. The chubby breeder Maxius was about to give chase, intending to smash the tens of thousands of tons of Wen Sheng walnuts he held against the witch Planknia, who had been taken away by the Great Roaring Dragonflies, but he was stopped by the array of one hundred Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies before him. Maxius

narrowed his eyes.

“A person’s reputation precedes them. It seems you truly deserve the title of a renowned breeding genius from the outside world, a multiple-time champion of breeding competitions. Impressive indeed. However, as a wizard within the key laboratory, I cannot participate in the competitions. I wonder how much of a difference there is between you and this so-called genius from the outside world.” Wizard Maxius looked at Locke, revealing a challenging intent.

“Let me see just how powerful these so-called people from the outside world really are.”

Behind Locke was the Great Roaring Dragon Sparrow, but his hands directly released the Peach Guard Curse. Since his opponent had the Literary Saint Walnut, which specifically countered rose-type magical plants, he naturally couldn’t use peach-type magical plants. So, what he held in his hands was the Sky-Supporting Jujube, which had transformed into a staff.

Locke also wore a multi-eyed pineapple monocle on his left eye.

Under the multi-eyed pineapple monocle, his pupil seemed like an endless black tunnel, like the pupil of a supreme eye demon. Locke said confidently, “Captain Maxius, I’m going to show you.”

“Why are you in such a hurry?”

A full moon descended behind Locke, followed by a golden tree rising from the ground. The golden spirit transformed into flowing light and shadow, like a sun. The sun and moon appeared behind Locke.

The Moon Cultivation Method strengthened all the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrows, bringing them to the limit of the magical plant characteristics that plant essence could express, and putting them at their peak, even stronger than the peak.

One hundred mirrored copies of the Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies were transformed into two hundred Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies under the aura of countless golden leaf-shaped lights. These two hundred Great Azure Leaf Dragonflies then slowly floated into the air behind Locke, forming a circle, resembling a magnificent array. All the Attila’s lightning chains were linked together, creating a war magic typically used on the battlefield.

This hardly resembled a one-on-one magical duel between wizards; it was more like a chain attack launched by a wizarding legion against an individual wizard. Locke produced a wisp of verdant spiritual energy, chanted a spell, and directly converted it into life energy.

Then, he channeled all this energy into Attila’s Chain Lightning.

Maxius had originally been chanting his unique [Walnut Sacred Spell], intending to smash down all one hundred large green-leafed dragonbirds in one go.

The Walnut Sacred Spell utilizes the unique winter magic within the sacred walnut, enveloping the walnut and causing it to strike the opponent like a meteorite. At the moment of impact, the winter magic erupts, sealing the opponent and simultaneously sealing their magic.

It is a sealing spell,

primarily relying on the winter magic of magical plants.

Wizard Maxius’s personal hobby is collecting antiques, and his magic often leans towards using the winter magic within magical plants to seal opponents’ magic, thus allowing him to collect them as well.

The term “Wen Sheng” (文圣) refers to a scholar of literature and antiques. The Wen Sheng Walnut, a magical plant cultivated using a spiritual cultivation method, was given this enigmatic name.

At this moment, the Wen Sheng Walnut before Wizard Maxius was growing larger, seemingly about to become a meteor, but he was still stunned by Locke’s massive torrent of lightning—two hundred Attila’s Chain Lightning spells. The scale was simply too vast, and a verdant spiritual energy was converting life energy to compress the lightning energy.

Although Attila’s Chain Lightning was only a first-circle crystallization spell, it was a core inherited spell of the Lightning Gate school, possessing the characteristic of increasing life energy to compress magical power.

Locke’s verdant spiritual energy effectively elevated the two hundred Attila’s Chain Lightning spells to near-second-circle spell level.

Thus, these two hundred near-second-circle spells formed a battle formation, striking towards the Star Ring Wizard Maxius.

Wizard Maxius was startled.

“Is this the weight of a genius breeder from the outside world?”

Behind Wizard Maxius appeared a walnut orchard covered in ice and snow. That was his ultimate magic. Because he grew up inside Star City, he couldn’t inherit the traditional ultimate magic from Golden Crown Mountain. He could only rely on the magic data here and figure things out along the way, which allowed him to create a set of ultimate magic: Winter Walnut Garden.

At this moment, the winter magic of this Walnut Garden enhanced the walnuts in front of him. At the same time, he used two spells with ultimate magic runes in succession: [Winter’s Protection Spell] and [Snowy Spell].

These were defensive spells that utilized the magic power of winter magic plants.

Instantly, tall walnut trees covered in ice and snow appeared in front of him.

The next moment, he, the walnut grove, and the huge walnuts were all covered by lightning.

Wizard Maxius was completely stunned and disoriented.

Locke put away the hundred large green-leaf dragon sparrows and retrieved the True Sight Crystal Ball used for recording.

“I used the Moon of Evolution to forcibly enhance the power of these magical plants, and then used the Tree of Prosperity to extract their seasonal energy. Therefore, after this attack, these magical plants have reached their limit and are no longer usable. But I have indeed collected enough combat data.

At this moment, the small world was almost shattered into pieces by this lightning bolt, and the entire world became countless fragmented rocks floating at the boundary between the farm space and the wizard world space.

As for the captain of the Starry Sky City Witcher Squad, the chubby breeder, the wizard Maxius who uses walnut-type magical plants, he was knocked away by my lightning bolt and disappeared.

Of course, it is unrealistic to expect to defeat him in one move. He was just careless for a moment and was sent flying by me by shattering the small world.

He will probably come back later.

However, before that, the Sky-Piercing Trees may be completely removed from the farm.

“Without Captain Maxius, I can use the Peach Guardian Charm and the Peach Blossom Charm.”

Locke looked at the remaining two wizards, the Starry Sky City Chief Justice, the bloodline wizard Antiochus, and the fire magic wizard Marcus. Locke looked at the two men and said politely, “Please enlighten me, sir.”

The wizard Antiochus roared, creating a shockwave that shattered the surrounding rocks into dust.

A phantom of a red dragon appeared behind him.

This made Locke begin to doubt whether this man was truly from his lineage.

Antiochus’s body swelled again, and dragon scales sprouted from his skin. The ultimate magic of a Star Ring Bloodline wizard was bloodline magic—a red dragon bloodline that had reached Star Ring level. He had burned and fused the bloodlines of countless magical creatures, and hunted countless essences of magical bloodlines. Coupled with his constant modification and recombination of bloodline magic, he had reached his current level. Therefore, he was amazed that Locke possessed such a high-level bloodline yet seemed to have little exposure to bloodline magic.

This greatly surprised him.

Little did he know that Locke’s bloodline had been elevated entirely by chance; both the Nature Guardian and the Abyss Dragon were born from a series of unexpected events.

Blood-red marks appeared on the bare upper body and chest of the Antiochian wizard, forming a spell model. A Star Ring-level Bloodline Spell Model: Dragon Demon Body!

In an instant, the Antiochian wizard transformed into a half-human, half-red dragon, existing in a state neither quite a dragon nor a human, but somewhere in between. He was clearly a red dragon, yet without wings, standing on two legs, yet possessing four dragon claws.

Through bloodline magic, the Antiochian wizard had directly transformed himself into a unique dragon form not found in the natural world. This was the Dragon Demon!

The Antiochian wizard attacked Locke. As a bloodline wizard, the power within his body was highly integrated; this body itself was his ultimate magic.

Locke, however, noticed that the fire magic wizard, Maklas, showed no intention of attacking.

“Are they trying to gang up on me?”

Locke looked at the dragon demons attacking him; Antiochus. He had already tested their strength, and each of them was weaker than the Star City Lord, the wizard Guberdin. Therefore, if they wanted to fight him one-on-one, they would definitely lose. Locke directly activated his Abyssal Dragon Bloodline and Three-Eyed Tiger Cat Bloodline. Although he didn’t have a Star Ring level bloodline to learn magic, the problem was that both of his bloodlines were individual Star Ring level bloodlines. The Three-Eyed Tiger Cat had a World Leaf as its sole power core, while the Abyssal Dragon Bloodline consisted of the incomplete power of the World-Destroying Dragon, the power of a high-level Eye Demon, and the chaos of the Abyss. The titles are composed of two separate Star Ring-level magical pressures.

In other words, both are equivalent to a Star Ring-level Bloodline Great Magic.

Of course, due to the nature of Great Magic, they cannot be completely equivalent, but at least their total magical pressure is the same! Ultimately, Locke himself doesn’t know how his two bloodlines leveled up. He might have to thank archaeology, the opportunities he encountered along the way, and his automatic involvement in the Black Sun Tower conflict, which caused his bloodlines to level up without the support of Bloodline Studies.

At this moment, the phantoms of a Three-Eyed Tiger-Eyed Cat and an Abyss Dragon appeared behind Locke; the dragon and tiger appeared behind him.

Locke roared, his muscles bulging.

Then, he lunged forward, his fists clashing against the dragon demon’s claws.

The dragon demon, Antiochus, narrowed his eyes.

“It’s a draw.”

“How does he possess two Star Ring-level bloodlines?”

“Why aren’t those two bloodlines conflicting? No, no, according to the principles of bloodline science, no principled bloodline wizard would be foolish enough to create two star-ring level bloodlines with such conflicting attributes within their own body. This might not even be two attributes, but three or four.”

Antiochus suddenly realized that, according to his common sense about bloodlines, Locke’s actions would have caused him to self-destruct due to bloodline confusion, or die from power conflict.

But Locke was not only unharmed, but the two bloodline powers were also perfectly coordinated.

This was impossible…

For a moment, Antiochus felt a sense of absurdity, because he believed that if Locke had truly studied bloodlines systematically, he would never dare to do this. In his current understanding of bloodlines, Locke’s complex bloodlines were tantamount to suicide.

Locke’s knowledge of bloodlines seemed to be stuck at the wizard apprentice stage. At that stage, wizard apprentices would indeed disregard whether their own bloodline essence was suitable, or how many bloodlines they actually possessed, and arbitrarily inject external bloodlines into their bodies. However, Locke was currently a Star Ring Archmage, not an apprentice!

Yet Locke’s foolish bloodline modification had, in fact, created two Star Ring-level bloodlines within him.

Antiochus, momentarily forgetting the battle, froze in place. Even in the berserk state of the Dragon Demon, his mind raced due to this anomaly.

What was going on?

Could it be that the two bloodlines within this person automatically stopped competing within Locke’s body?

Were there such obedient bloodlines in the world?

If so, what was the point of bloodline studies?

At least a third of the content in bloodline studies—bloodline harmonization—could be skipped!

The next moment, a Crimson Gold Peach Claw appeared in Locke’s left hand. With a wave of the Peach Guardian Spell, the Dragon Demon and Antiochus were sent flying out of this small world, disappearing from Locke’s sight.

Locke breathed heavily, recovering his magical pressure through the Forest Sanctuary and the several worlds beneath it.

Continuous battles and rapid attacks had taken a heavy toll on him.

Locke looked at his last opponent.

“No. My magic pressure is depleting too much. Although I’ve been using magic continuously to conserve my strength, after a series of back-and-forth battles, my magic pressure is starting to decline.”

Locke realized this, and the two powerful spells behind him continuously released magic pressure, trying to curb the decline.

The witch Planknia and the wizard Moromota looked at Locke with concern.

Locke closed his eyes, recalling the witch Catherine’s words—”The most powerful breeder is not the wizard with the most powerful magic, but the one who can communicate with magical plants.” “Wizard.”

The teacher instructed him to try communicating with the Sky-Piercing Tree.

To try understanding the feelings of the Sky-Piercing Tree.

That must be the realm of Spiritual Breath.

Locke attempted to connect his own spiritual breath with that of the Sky-Piercing Tree. As a tree of spiritual breath, even at this moment of rapid movement, the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spiritual breath remained omnipresent. This might be the only real thing in this virtual world, because spiritual breath is life force, and life force is real and indisputable, impossible to be virtual.

However, the moment his own spiritual breath came into contact with the Sky-Piercing Tree’s spiritual breath, his own spiritual breath became turbulent and dissipated instantly.

“Isn’t that right?”

Locke frowned, summoning the Crimson Gold Peach and casting the Peach Guardian Spell.

The fire magic wizard, Makolas, remained focused.

“I see. Mr. Augustine’s magic is truly masterful.”

“However, Antiochus is a student of the Red Dragon Throne, and Captain Maxius was suppressed by you after your rise to power, while also being a student of the Green Dragon Throne. These two throne lords have always had a good relationship. This matter… in fact, is largely related to these two throne lords. You and I are both pawns in this game, unable to see the bigger picture, and unsure of what the right thing to do is.” “

Therefore, I suspect those two are actors.”

Wizard Makolas looked at Locke.

“Mr. Augustine’s exhaustion is indeed real. Star Ring Wizards constantly radiate magical power, a result of stellar gravity. You’re expending too much energy right now,”

Wizard Maclas said. “As the city’s defense captain, I know things are strange right now, but I’m in the same boat as you. We both need to be loyal to our duties, so that whatever happens, we can’t be held accountable afterwards. Mr. Augustine, I’m a fire magic wizard.” “

As the city’s defense captain, I must kill your student.”

A pillar of fire appeared behind him.

This was his ultimate spell: [A Severed Pillar of Fire].

“At the second ring stage, Evocation magic gave rise to the science of spiritual touch, which is the opposite of your spiritual breath science. And so-called fire magic, within the realm of spiritual touch, refers to the form of energy released during the process of spiritual touch breaking.” “

In other words, the essence of fire is spiritual touch breaking.”

“Burning everything away, that’s fire magic.”

A massive fireball appeared behind Wizard Maclass—a Star Ring spell; the sun pierced the sky, and this fireball transformed into a golden pillar of fire, attacking Locke. Locke used the Peach Blossom Charm, creating countless peach blossoms as a wall to block it.

But the next moment, this peach blossom wall burst into flames—not instantly, nor slowly spreading, but exploding in a single burst.

Locke realized that this magic, which instantly reduced the peach blossom wall to ash, seemed to be the so-called spiritual touch breaking.

The essence of fire magic is breaking?

Locke was skeptical of a Star Ring wizard’s definition of fire, but at least this definition revealed the characteristics and foundation of this Star Ring wizard’s immense magic, as well as the source of its powerful destructive force.

At this moment, Locke was exhausted. He frowned and pondered whether to continue trying to connect with the Sky-Piercing Tree through his spiritual energy, or to use the remaining magical power to forcibly defeat his opponent.
