Chapter 921, Yulin Army

Tulsa of the Imperial Guard had already accepted his own and his battle-brothers’ certain death, hoping to take down as many of them as possible before his death.

However, the situation wouldn’t always be so dire.

The resilient will always be rewarded.

Tulsa’s comm signal received a delighted message from a battle-brother who remained in the church: “Our reinforcements have arrived! It’s the Commander-in-Chief!”

He suddenly felt excited!

He shared the good news with every one of his battle-brothers. They stood back to back, utilizing their formations and the environment to fight a desperate battle.

Martins’s achievements were well-known among the Alliance’s Space Marines. Whether it was the battle that annihilated the Ironclad Rebellion, his outstanding performance during the Dark Side Crusade, or the earth-shattering battle against the Bonebreaker King, they were all astonishing, even admirable.

He believed that Martins’s personal arrival would significantly reverse the tide of battle!

For now, his goal was to save as many of his brothers as possible.

As Tulsa waited anxiously, his comrades fell one by one. He himself, having repeatedly shielded his battle brethren, had sustained serious injuries.

The most serious, and final, wound came while he was shielding a Dreadnought’s powerful blow.

True, Tulsa, clad in his Iron Cavalry Terminator armor, was immense; the Graviton he wielded was also a power weapon; he himself was a top-tier power warrior…

but compared to a Dreadnought, in terms of size, structure, and strength… the Terminator armor was still just armor, fundamentally different from the Dreadnought. With

such a body, the consequences of withstanding a Dreadnought’s blow were predictable.

His arm was broken.

He was doomed. One strike from the Dreadnought, or any other Chaos enemy, and he would be dead. And

if he perished, the battle brethren he had fought so hard to protect would likely die too.

Yet he was willing to pay the price. Even death would bring him peace.

It was he who had led his brothers into the catacombs, fighting to this day. He could be heartless, willing to sacrifice any of his battle-brothers for the sake of his goal. But in this situation, he refused to be the last survivor.

If the 8th Company of the Banyan Lizards Chapter was destined to perish here, he would not be the last to die. If the Emperor granted them the right to survive, he would not want it to be him.

But today, perhaps the gods truly had their blessing.

None of them would die.

Just as Tulsa’s life was about to end, he saw a blade of azure light slice through the Dreadnought before him.

Behind the fallen Dreadnought, a brave warrior emerged.

He wore a suit of power armor that resembled a majestic version, but with many differences in detail. He towered over even the Primaris, his white and gold armor draped over a pure blue cape. On their capes, pauldrons, and breastplates were painted the Alliance’s symbols—a hammer, sickle, and sword beneath a shield, flanked by the Imperial wings. Atop their eagle-faced helmets, unlike the typical vertical or horizontal crests of Space Marines, were two long blue feathers, rising high and drooping backward, lending them an extraordinary air of majesty.

At a glance, Tarsa saw over a dozen such warriors!

They resembled a Chapter, but Tarsa could sense they were nothing like Space Marines.

Even the veterans of the Primaris couldn’t match the power of these men. Their numbers were slightly outnumbered, yet they swept them with ease.

Especially the scene unfolding before his eyes.

A lightning-fast Guandao slashed across, severing a Dreadnought in half with a single blow!

What immense power was required to achieve this?

Could a Chapter Champion, a force-oriented warrior, pull it off?

It was doubtful!

What kind of… ‘monster’ was this?

He had never seen this chapter before, and felt that they were quite different from the Space Marines. However, looking at the Alliance symbols on their bodies and the way they swiftly slaughtered the enemy, there was no doubt that they were friendly forces.

The warrior who killed the fearless man extended his hand to him.

Talsa stretched out his intact arm and stood up with the help of the warrior.

The warrior who helped him up did not engage in the battle, as if he had 100% confidence that his companions could resolve the battle without any doubt.

He asked Talsa, “Can you still move?”

Tulsa gritted her teeth: “Yes!”

“Lead the way.”

…

Martins himself was currently aboard a Dragon Elephant fighter.

Through the shared footage from the Yulin Army, he saw the situation in the catacombs and found it under control.

Led by the surviving Banyan Lizards, the Yulin Army had already entered the chamber containing the coffin.

The surviving Chaos traitors were clearly aware of the threat posed by these newcomers.

A series of prepared psychic traps were activated the moment they entered the chamber.

This was something the Banyan Lizards hadn’t mentioned in their previous intelligence.

It was understandable, as they hadn’t even set foot inside the coffin chamber, having only exchanged fire from a distance, and had no idea there were psychic traps within.

Even more astonishing was the fact that these vicious psychic traps had been completely ignored by the Yulin Army!

Amidst the surging waves of psychic energy, they strolled in with ease, swiftly dispatching the remaining Chaos Space Marines and Chaos Sorcerers alike, slaughtering them one by one like chickens.

No Chaos foe stood a chance.

Even the small Chaos warband leader, seemingly possessing strength surpassing that of a typical company champion, was defeated by the captain of the Feathered Guards in just one blow—and his head was chopped off in the second. However

, Martins wasn’t surprised by the Feathered Guards’ combat prowess. This was all within his expectations; he knew the true strength of these exceptional warriors, and now he had simply witnessed it firsthand. However,

he also made a discovery he hadn’t previously encountered: the Feathered Guards were immune to psychic energy!

To say they were completely immune might be a bit of an exaggeration. Even an Alpha-level psyker would be no match for them.

However, in conventional terms, they were simply impervious to psychic energy, or rather, to the power of the Warp.

The specially made power armor on them – that thing is obviously not the power armor of the Space Marines – gives them extraordinary psychic resistance.

But the greater resistance may come from themselves.

All these characteristics made Martins think of a term involuntarily: ban…

No, I can’t think about it anymore.

He suppressed the instinctive speculation that was about to come out and turned his attention back to the current battlefield.

The number of troops he brought was actually not large.

Looking at the countless fighter planes in the sky, in fact, this was definitely not as many as directly deploying them to the ground with large landing ships.

But it doesn’t matter, if there is a lack of quantity, there is quality.

He brought all the elite.

What’s more, he is here.
