Chapter 139 Kyushu World’s First Step Outward

When he parted ways with Mingzhong, he had promised him that he would return to Mingzhong’s world after finding the Brahma Tower.

In reality, he could return to Mingzhong at any time. This promise was based on two considerations.

First, Mingzhong World contained the corpse of the Daozu, which was of great significance to the Dao Sect. However, Bai Hongtu was unable to traverse the void, and while Changcun Xianweng could, it would consume his immortal energy. Jiang Li had advised Xianweng that there was no rush, and that it wouldn’t be too late to return after he found the Brahma Tower.

Second, Mingzhong World’s technological level was advanced. If a zombie crisis struck their world, they wouldn’t be afraid of even a fourth-tier zombie; their mechas would be more than capable of handling it.

Mingzhong World and Jiuzhou had completely different development paths. Jiang Li intended to establish a connection between Jiuzhou and Mingzhong World, allowing them to communicate, share resources, promote development, and achieve mutual progress.

Furthermore, Jiang Li was concerned about Mingzhong World’s safety. Since the extraterritorial demons had transformed Ah Qing and caused humanity to disappear, there was a possibility that the extraterritorial demons would return and strike again.

Upon hearing about the trip to the Ringing Bell World, Bai Hongtu and Changcun Xianweng were overjoyed. They informed all the elders in the Fusion Stage of the sect and urged those who were usually slovenly to tidy up and avoid embarrassing themselves in other worlds.

Daozu’s death in another world would cause panic, even amidst internal strife within the immortal realm. To maintain order, Bai Hongtu and Changcun Xianweng kept the news of Daozu’s corpse a secret, not even from their own sect elders.

While they didn’t want the elders to know the truth, Bai Hongtu and Changcun Xianweng still wanted them to visit that world, a conflicting thought.

Other worlds were a novel and fascinating place for everyone in Jiuzhou, even those at the Fusion Stage.

The Dao Sect elders, in particular, had glimpsed the scenery of that world through the Telecommunication Talisman and were intrigued. The idea of moving objects without spiritual energy was truly ingenious.

Yin-Yang Tianyin was still pondering the cultivation method for his spiritual treasures. According to Brahma Tower, if the elder Yin-Yang Tianyin truly developed a systematic cultivation method for spiritual treasures, then their immortal artifacts could also cultivate, allowing them to create more spatial channels.

Therefore, no one disturbed Yin-Yang Tianyin.

…

Time flows at the same rate in Mingzhong World and Jiuzhou World, and four and a half years have passed since Mingzhong’s separation.

After Jiang Li left, Mingzhong reconciled all citizens. Jiang Li had dealt with the most troublesome beast, and the remaining two or three kittens were easily dealt with by deploying mechas without any casualties.

Therefore, upon learning that the beasts were no longer a problem and that the pressure of survival for thousands of years had ceased, the world celebrated for a whole year.

Mingzhong was also hailed as the most outstanding president.

If it weren’t for the pursuit of ultimate weaponry and higher-level science, the people of Mingzhong World wouldn’t have to work at all. With productivity soaring, and fully automated production, people could pursue their interests: drawing comics, drawing comics, becoming a teacher, or attending school even if they wanted to.

With survival resolved, Mingzhong, now president, discovered a new problem: rampant extreme hedonism.

Fortunately, this problem wasn’t prominent yet and could be gradually resolved.

Ming Zhong was also facing a new problem—not a major one, but a very annoying one.

“President Ming Zhong, please tell us honestly how the ferocious beast problem was resolved,” a congressman asked. He’d asked this question countless times, but always received the same answer.

“No comment,” Ming Zhong replied impatiently. “I’ve written the entire incident into a file, classified as top secret. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it will be released in a hundred years.”

Ming Zhong didn’t know if Jiang Li wanted to make his world-saving plans public, so he didn’t dare make a rash decision.

Jiang Li’s battle with the Yin-Yang Heavenly Seal was a resounding one, and even though it was happening on the other side of the continent, the humans on the other side could still feel it. However, they only knew something was happening, not the cause.

Ming Zhong knew only that this was the ruthless individual who had overturned the entire continent. Although he appeared to be a good guy, Ming Zhong didn’t dare to gamble with Jiang Li’s character.

What if he did something that didn’t meet his expectations? The consequences…

But humans always wanted to get to the bottom of things, especially on such a major issue. As president, Ming Zhong also had to listen to the people’s concerns, so he found a compromise.

The archives were unsealed a hundred years later.

Clearly, the legislators didn’t want to wait for their descendants to learn the truth. They wanted to know

now.

“Ming Zhong, there’s nothing you can’t tell me. My affairs don’t need to be kept secret.”

A familiar voice reached Ming Zhong, filling him with joy.

“Mr. Jiang Li!” Ming Zhong called out, and the legislators looked at each other, confused by the president’s sudden agitation.

Had they pushed him too hard, driven him mad?

They felt a pang of guilt.

“Is that the Supreme Leader of the Human Race? I feel a bit aggrieved.”

“Send a message! Don’t say it out loud. It’ll seem so rude.”

“What are you afraid of? He can’t understand us.”

“That seems to be the case. It’s really aggrieved.”

A group of mostly middle-aged and elderly people suddenly appeared in the legislature, leaving the legislators bewildered.

The Dao Sect elders who arrived were all at the Fusion Stage, with an astonishingly vast range of spiritual awareness. Their consciousness, projected outward, enveloped the entire city, making it easy for them to understand the language of this world and learn it.

However, learning was one thing, and communicating in Kyushu dialect was still the norm.

“Speaking of which, this leader’s cultivation is mediocre, and he’s not very good at fighting. How did he become the boss?”

“It seems that it was determined by genes before birth?”

“Genes? That’s new.”

Although his spiritual sense scanned a lot of things, it would still take some effort to learn everything.

“What’s going on? Impeached?” Jiang Li said with a smile.

“It’s not that serious, just a routine argument.” Seeing Jiang Li’s arrival, Ming Zhong relaxed completely. “Don’t you want to know how the ferocious beast problem was solved? It was Mr. Jiang Li who helped solve it.”

“Aliens? Solved by the forces behind him?”

Just like his original name, the councilors also believed Jiang Li to be an alien.

Ming Zhong recounted the entire story, though some parts were omitted, such as the story that they were remnants of the immortal realm and that the continent was the corpse of a certain entity.

The councilors, upon learning the truth, still couldn’t believe it. It was too unbelievable. How could someone be so powerful?

But once Jiang Li led them out of gravity, they believed it.

“Mr. Ming Zhong, we meet again,” Bai Hongtu said with a bow. He had seen Ming Zhong in the remote communication talisman and was amazed that this world couldn’t even stop a Fusion Stage demonic beast.

“Master Bai.”

“Introduce me, these are the leaders of the second-largest faction in Jiuzhou. They are all Fusion Stage demonic beasts.”

The elders politely bowed to Ming Zhong, as if they weren’t the ones discussing the supreme leader’s frustration.

Ming Zhong gasped and quickly returned the greeting. He knew what the Fusion Stage demonic beast was. If it hadn’t been for Mr. Jiang Li’s intervention, a Fusion Stage demonic beast could have destroyed all of humanity.

And these were all Fusion Stage demonic beasts, two levels lower than Jiang Li.

Ming Zhong felt a little guilty. Although he was also the supreme leader of humanity, theoretically on par with Jiang Li, the gap between them was quite large.

When a friend came from afar, Ming Zhong naturally had to give him a warm welcome.

Ming Zhong took everyone to the most luxurious restaurant. The food in this world was now very different from when Jiang Li first arrived. People began to pursue delicious food, and the food tasted surprisingly good. The elders enjoyed the meal very much.

The council members accompanied them, chatting with the elders about the customs and culture of Kyushu, and were shocked by its vastness and power.
