Chapter 119: The Rebirth of the Strong in the End of the World

” “Flying Dragon Shattering Mountain Fist!” Luo Ying yelled out his customary attack, feeling it was powerful.

With one blow, he expelled the seawater, creating a vacuum zone. The fifth-level zombie, facing the blow, was annihilated before even a contact.

Under Jiang Li’s guidance, Luo Ying’s abundant energy was mobilized, unleashing unprecedented combat power.

The other three looked at Luo Ying’s vibrant energy with amazement. They felt that Luo Ying seemed unfathomable, but how could he have changed so much after not seeing him for a month?

Regardless, Luo Ying’s growth was a good thing.

The four of them reached the bottom of the ocean, 11,000 meters below the surface, practically the deepest point. The pressure was so intense that even a fourth-level zombie couldn’t withstand it, only a fifth-level zombie could.

Deep beneath the surface, sunlight couldn’t reach it. Pitch blackness completely blocked their vision, and their other senses were severely weakened. The four could only judge the situation by the movement of the water.

“There are eight level-five zombies, and nearby is the wreckage of an alien spaceship.” Luo Ying sensed a brutal battle unfolding not far away, and the culprit behind it all: the alien escape ship.

The occupants were merely ordinary zombies, unable to withstand the underwater pressure and crushed into a bloody mist. This caused the zombie virus to spread throughout the deep sea, then to shallow waters and land, sweeping across the globe.

Octopuses, killer whales, anglerfish, jellyfish, and other corpse-formed marine creatures—octopuses, killer whales, anglerfish, jellyfish—had undergone significant changes from their original state. The octopus’s tentacles were covered in eyes, each with a mouth. The killer whale had sprouted a head from its tail, making it impossible to tell where its brain was located. The anglerfish had grown enormous, reaching a full fifteen meters in length, and the fleshy protuberance on its forehead was no longer a lantern, but a human-like head.

Eight corpse-formed marine creatures, drastically altered from their original state, gathered here, and among them would emerge a level-six zombie.

Previously, the number of level-five zombies was far greater, but now the battle had decimated only these eight.

“Wait a little longer, until they’ve killed each other to the point of seven,” Luo Ying said.

More Level 5 zombies isn’t necessarily better. Too many would be too much for them to defeat. Fewer would mean the Level 5 zombies have absorbed too many brain cores, making them no longer considered ordinary Level 5 zombies and equally difficult to defeat.

The only way to achieve this is to limit the number of Level 5 zombies to a level that four people can just handle. Seven was Luo Ying’s conclusion after observation.

The other three, understanding Luo Ying’s intention, nodded and gathered their strength.

Ultimately, the jellyfish was defeated and slain by the octopus. The octopus absorbed the jellyfish’s brain core, its body glowing as it took a step towards Level 6.

Luo Ying gestured to attack and took the lead, followed closely by the other three.

The octopus, killer whale, and anglerfish were the most formidable of the remaining seven zombies, and Luo Ying considered them his opponents, leaving the remaining four zombies to the three.

The zombies were startled by Luo Ying’s actions, then enraged. How dare a weak human interfere in their battle?

But the zombies soon discovered that even among the humans there were powerful individuals. The Flying Dragon Shattering Mountain Fist was unstoppable, its might so impressive that the three zombies facing Luo Ying were unable to withstand it.

These three zombies reached a temporary agreement and joined forces to deal with Luo Ying.

The other four zombies and the three zombies, however, were not in a one-sided battle, and the fight ended in a draw, with neither side able to defeat the other.

None of Luo Ying’s side used weapons, relying solely on physical strength. The power of the fifth level was too overwhelming for them to find weapons that could withstand it.

“Die!”

Luo Ying roared, his mind and will united, his fist unstoppable, and he actually conjured a phantom of a real dragon. Like

a dragon descending into the sea, unstoppable, the three zombies’ combined attack paused. Luo Ying seized the opportunity, swinging his fists and crushing them one by one. His black hair flowing, his eyes bloodshot, he looked like an ancient god of war reborn, a chilling sight.

Having dealt with his enemies, Luo Ying went to help the three zombies.

The four zombies had no chance of fighting back, and were defeated by the humans’ combined forces.

“I actually succeeded?”

Even after the last zombie was slain, Luo Ying couldn’t believe the result. She had fought with the certainty of certain death, but Jiang Li’s guidance had dramatically increased her strength, turning the tide.

Had the original self come here, to say she’d narrowly escape death would be an optimistic guess.

This wasn’t just about the annihilation of the sea zombies; it also meant humanity now had seven Level-5 brain cores, capable of producing either a Level-6 powerhouse or even several Level-5 powerhouses.

The zombies on land would have no chance of defeating the enlarged human race.

Victory for humanity was within reach!

Puff—

Luo Ying looked down and saw a blade-like metal shard piercing her heart. She turned to her three companions in disbelief.

“Why… why…”

We were victorious, so why kill me? And where did the weapon come from? Luo Ying had so many questions he wanted to ask, but he felt his life rapidly slipping away, and words were difficult to utter.

Seeing that Luo Ying was still able to move, the man with the knife spun again, crushing her heart.

“Why? Because you’re too strong, of course,” someone replied with a false smile. “We’re building a new nation, and you, as humanity’s strongest, will be a destabilizing factor, so naturally we must eliminate you.” “

And the weapons, of course, were taken from the wreckage of a nearby spaceship. They’re made of alien material, capable of piercing the body of a Level 5 Enhancer.”

Luo Ying’s pupils shrank, and he died with endless hatred.

…

“You three traitors, all must die!”

Luo Ying suddenly felt himself brimming with vitality. He leaped to his feet, shouting angrily.

However, when he took in the scene before him, he was stunned.

Bright sunshine, a clean classroom, the countdown to the college entrance exam, astonished classmates, and a teacher even angrier than himself.

“Luo Ying!” the teacher roared at him angrily. “It’s fine if you don’t study and sleep in class, but now you’re going crazy!”

“How are you still alive? Where are the zombies?” Luo Ying blurted out. He remembered the day the zombie outbreak had overrun the school, and he was the only one of his classmates to survive.

The teacher’s face turned pale and he was about to get angry when Luo Ying suddenly realized something and asked hurriedly, “What year is it?”

The teacher sneered and didn’t answer Luo Ying’s stupid question, while the classmates also lowered their heads to suppress their laughter. They didn’t know why Luo Ying had become so bold today, challenging the teacher’s patience time and time again.

Luo Ying took out the mobile phone he had brought secretly, and his pupils shrank when he saw the time displayed on the screen.

He would never forget this time.

The day when the zombie crisis broke out!

He was back to ten years ago!

Luo Ying hugged the mobile phone, knelt on the ground, and burst into tears.

It’s not too late, everything is still in time, the dead sister, the zombie friends… everything can still be saved!
