Wizard: Starting With Synthesized Gems - Chapter 887
Chapter 882 Searching for the Ultimate, the Flaws of Creation, and the Strange Curse of Historical Recurrence
The smug and provocative gaze of the Divine Eye suddenly froze.
“What is that thing? Did Nicholas leave something behind for you natives to keep?”
“Damn it, hateful! You barbarian natives are all untrustworthy! You’ll all betray me!”
The Divine Eye was incredibly agitated. Divine sparks appeared within his pupils, and he was about to focus his gaze on the demonic wolf giant, intending to eliminate it.
The demonic wolf giant was startled. Standing amidst the hellfire, he spoke to the Divine Eye: “Stop, God of Persepolis: Fitzgerald. You can’t possibly be resurrected.”
“You’ve reincarnated so many times in the Three Caverns World, haven’t you understood this yet?”
The Divine Eye froze, his pupils suddenly shrinking, then his pupils trembled violently.
“I can’t be resurrected? I can’t be resurrected? Who said that? Who said that!”
The Divine Eye was utterly mad. “Who said that!”
“Are you saying I can only ever have one divine name? Ridiculous. As long as I can create a complete divine realm, I can use the Tomb of the Gods at the center of the divine realm to resurrect my godhood, divine fire, divine office, divine magic, and divine power. Do you understand?”
“I’ll kill you first.”
The principle of fire flickered in the God’s Eye, and flames flashed by.
The Demon Wolf Giant was so frightened that he instinctively raised his arm to block in front of him, making a defensive move, but he quickly realized that nothing had happened.
He removed his hand and found that a four-winged Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrow, which looked like a flying bluebird, had bound the God’s Eye’s eyes with a tail formed from its false roots. Then it forcibly pulled him into the sky above the Demon Wolf Hell, separating the God’s Eye from himself.
The God’s Eye was immediately enraged and once again used his divine name to strengthen the principle of fire in an attempt to break free, but the next moment Locke summoned three Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrows with one ring, each binding his body with a dragon tail formed from its false roots.
The four Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrows held him in mid-air, making him unable to move.
In the previous battles, God’s Eye had been killed too many times by Locke in a short period of time. Even though the Persepolis gods possessed incredible vitality, he was not a complete Persepolis god at this moment.
Therefore, due to his weakened power, he was easily captured by Locke using four Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrows.
Locke glanced at God’s Eye.
“Actually, I could also sense that you were deliberately provoking me to kill you. It’s just that I had no reason not to attack you before, so I had no choice but to fight you.”
Locke grasped the Memory of Nicholas and activated the spell model.
Instantly, the spell model enveloped Locke, covering him completely.
Hussein seized the opportunity to shoot a red light from his right eye, which landed on God’s Eye. It was the [Earthbound Blood Curse].
Hussein had injured God’s Eye twice before and obtained his blood, so he could now directly cast a sealing-type blood curse on his opponent.
The previously restless Divine Eye suddenly found himself bound by eight blood-red chains that floated up from the ground, transforming into blood shackles that bound him, making it impossible for him to escape.
Meanwhile, Hussein called out to Old Henry, who stood at the entrance to Hell, “Pirate, do you have any wizard’s shoes? I need to take this opportunity to obtain the blood of that Persepolis god. But without wizard’s shoes, I can’t move an inch in the Demon Wolf Hell.”
Old Henry waved his hand, saying, “I don’t have any either.”
“I only brought a pair of second-ring wizard’s boots on this journey, but those boots aren’t suitable for the extremely harsh environment of the upper planes.”
Most importantly, the old pirate was afraid Hussein would wear out his wizard’s boots.
He wasn’t exactly wealthy.
If those boots were damaged, he’d have to save up to find an alchemist to repair them.
Old Henry thought for a moment, then chanted a spell. Instantly, the bracelet on his arm flew out automatically, transforming into three magical wheels in mid-air.
“You can step on my three magic wheels, and I’ll manipulate them to help you get closer to the eye of that Persepolis god.”
“Then do whatever you want.”
Hussein said, “Okay, fine.”
He wasn’t demanding or fussy; he just wanted to get close to the divine eye and obtain its blood.
For a blood curse magic master, the higher the level of blood, the greater its value.
Just this blood alone would be good for the Life Stealing Ritual.
Each time the Life Stealing Ritual is performed with a high-level bloodline, it increases his magical pressure.
And the blood of the Persepolis god is almost the highest-grade blood in the Great Void.
The divine eye kept struggling.
He looked at the wolf giant, “What exactly did you give that wizard?”
“You can do things for Nicholas, so you can do things for me, help me escape. By the way, you possess the Principles of Hell. Now that the Lord of the Wolf is dead, you can manipulate the Principles of Hell.”
A look of surprise immediately flashed in the divine eye’s eyes.
That wizard named Locke Augustine, you were careless!
Now, whoever masters the principles of Hell can control the Demon Wolf Hell to repel the living. Strictly speaking, the Demon Wolf Giant, if it so desires, could drive Hussein and Henry out by responding to the principles of Hell.
Meanwhile, God-Eye could use this opportunity to break the seal on his body.
He could then escape at will, or set a trap, waiting for Locke to return from that memory.
Therefore, God-Eye immediately felt that Locke had been careless.
He had actually left such an opportunity for him to win!
God-Eye immediately looked at the Demon Wolf Giant, a confident glint in his eyes. He thought he understood perfectly what these natives wanted.
“Beauty, power, delicious food, status—I can give you all of these, Demon Wolf Giant. I’ve always been somewhat biased towards the Flame Giants and the others, letting them enjoy the good life in Heaven while sending you to Demon Wolf Hell to entangle with that stubborn Demon Wolf Lord.”
“You certainly haven’t enjoyed anything good.”
“But not anymore. Demon Wolf Giant, as long as you help me, you can have everything. Anyway, you’re going to be loyal to whoever you choose, so why not choose me? I’ve led you for hundreds of years; you should know my style. I usually don’t interfere with anything, no matter what you do.”
The Divine Eye confidently extended an invitation to the Demon Wolf Giant.
“Now, mobilize the laws of Hell. Haven’t you always wanted to return to Heaven? It’s been almost a thousand years.”
“I will grant your wish now.”
The giant wolf took a half step back and shook its head slightly.
“Unfortunately, God of Gods, my previous desire to return to Heaven was all a deception. I have been guarding this place according to Master Nicholas’s orders.”
“Staying in the Wolf Hell was my original purpose.”
“I refuse to help you. I stand with Master Nicholas.”
The Divine Eye suddenly erupted in fury.
“Why? We are both outsiders, yet you choose him over me. Tell me, why!”
…
Locke was lost in that memory. Then, from a bird’s-eye view, Locke saw an endless universe in the void, a place devoid of anything.
“This is… the Three Holes World before creation.”
A crimson cursed spirit descended beside Locke’s consciousness.
Then, Hussein’s consciousness, through a cursed spirit, pulled Old Henry and his consciousness into Locke’s consciousness, so all three were now traveling through this historical memory.
Clearly, Locke’s other half had used archaeological magic to unearth something, and thus displayed these things before them through the second-circle spell model [Historical Reenactment].
Locke glanced at the cursed spirit; it wasn’t a blood curse, just a regular curse spell.
That’s why it could enter his consciousness without his intervention.
This could be considered an advantage.
Ordinary curses are weak and unable to penetrate a wizard’s permanent defensive field. Cursing a wizard’s deeper soul can only affect the surface of that field; it’s precisely because of this that Locke allowed the curse to exist.
As long as it remained outside the permanent defensive field, it was under his control.
Hussein, Locke, and Henry exchanged glances. Hussein said, “Is this what archaeological magic can show? It’s truly amazing. Is this… the creation of the Three Hole Planes?”
Locke said, “It shouldn’t be the complete creation. The secrets of creation contain great secrets, and a historical reenactment can’t possibly record many of them. This is just a second-circle spell model.”
“It can’t do that.”
“So, it’s probably just telling us the important things. Many details have been omitted.”
As the three were talking, the endless void before them suddenly caved in, spacetime distorted, and when the Force waves flowed through this area, they were trapped in the depression and gathered together.
Then the image distorted, seemingly accelerating and skipping something.
Immediately afterward, they saw three holes appear in this previously empty void—the three holes of the Three Hole World.
The image distorted again, accelerating something.
These two distortions clearly indicated that someone had modified the spell model, ignoring details and only wanting to convey some kind of information.
Not long after, a gigantic crocodile of unknown size appeared in this void.
Old Henry exclaimed, “A Void Beast? No, this isn’t a Void Beast. Look at that crocodile! It’s covered in the principles of the world, wrapped in them. My god, that crocodile even possesses divinity!”
A crocodile with divinity, a divine name, and a divine position—in terms of completeness, this enormous crocodile, seemingly capable of traversing the universe, is actually more like a complete god than the divine eye of the Persepolis gods.
This crocodile crawled through the vast void, its back bearing a palace, like a seven-story building, each level majestic and expansive, resembling a continent.
The seven palaces had no internal pillars; they were entirely supported by massive, circular mountain ranges.
The seven palaces were seven layers of land,
and the craters were the supports between these seven layers.
A rope larger than the continent itself was wrapped around the palace and the crocodile’s back.
Its scale was incredible.
The crocodile crawled through the void, its divine power radiating like a galaxy. Where it crawled through the vast void, it left behind a pillar of starlight, within which faint outlines of demi-planes could be formed.
But the crocodile was merely a mount, or rather, the Void Warship of the Banaradga gods.
Seeing this, Locke and the others finally understood what the Lord of Monsters truly meant to the Banaradga gods.
It was their warship traversing the endless void, its role akin to the Void Warships of wizards!
And the Lord of Monsters in the Three Cavern Worlds was clearly just an immature monster.
At this moment, the Banaradga god arrived riding a crocodile, exclaiming in surprise, “Hmm? This place seems quite nice. Perhaps I can build a world here.”
“Participating in the formation of world planes and assisting in creation to create that ultimate world… is the duty of us Banaradga gods. Since reaching adulthood, I’ve traveled far and wide, but haven’t found any place that particularly pleases me.”
“I was too picky before, so I searched many places but didn’t find one that made me feel particularly safe. Today I encountered this place… I feel this place is good. I don’t know why, but a [Creation Form] has formed here, although the primal currents here are far from sufficient. Alright, the divine crocodile will stop here. I think if I miss this opportunity, I might not be able to find a better place.”
“Divine Crocodile, I will seek my [Ultimate] here,”
the divine crocodile spoke in the endless void.
“Great Lord, please settle down.”
From the seven exaggerated palaces of earth on the divine crocodile’s back, some broken rocks fell, forming stone steps.
Each step was as large as a mountain range.
The Banaradga god emerged from the palace. His own size was considerable, a thousand times taller than the Giant King of the Three Worlds.
Even such a colossal being appeared minuscule in the vast void, merely a seagull in the sky.
The Banaradga god descended the palace, walking side-by-side up the steps. He surveyed the world before him, marveling, “Excellent, excellent, truly wondrous, utterly wondrous.”
“This is a good place. I have made my decision; I will complete the secondary creation here.”
The Banaradga god was a majestic being whose face was obscured. Locke, Hussein, and Henry all felt an incredible magical pressure emanating from him.
Because the History Recreation Spell could not accurately describe the details of this majestic being, Locke and the others could not see his face within the spell, much less grasp his true spiritual essence.
The Banaradgar god said, “Crocodile, bring me my fishing rod.”
The crocodile replied, “My lord, this is the fishing rod your mother prepared for your Creation Hunt.”
Hearing the crocodile mention his mother, the Banaradgar god’s tone immediately somber.
“We’ll never see her again. This is the tragic fate of our Banaradgar race.”
“Unless my world is near her World Alliance, I can still see her through the World Alliance meetings. But once I have my own Titan, I can have it ride you to find her.”
“That wouldn’t be bad,”
the crocodile said. “My lord, before we left, our master specifically instructed us that our lodgings must be far from the Nightmare Legion, far from the other two great gods… Oh, and far from the River Styx and the River Blood… and the Abyss too…”
The Banaradgar god grew impatient.
“Alright, alright, I know all that,”
the divine crocodile said patiently. “After all, we Banaradga gods are different from other gods. As the builder gods, once we choose a world to build and begin construction, we cannot leave. Compared to nomadic gods like the Persepolis gods, we Banaradga gods are more like settled gods.” The divine crocodile
spat out a massive stone fishing rod.
The length of this fishing rod seemed to span from one end of the galaxy to the other.
The Banaradga god took the fishing rod, sat on the divine crocodile’s head, and then cast the fishing rod into the three holes.
It’s unclear how long this Banaradga god sat on the divine crocodile’s head, but suddenly, Locke and his companions saw the Banaradga god stand up, seemingly very happy. He cast the fishing rod, and a sun was fished out from the three holes.
A moon followed behind the sun.
The Three Hole Worlds possess primordial suns and moons, which are likely formed from the energy emanating from the solar and lunar planes. Now, this Banaradga god has forcibly fished them out from behind the Form of Creation.
“A double kill!”
the Banaradga god exclaimed with immense joy.
He sat down again and cast his fishing rod a second time. This time, he didn’t know how much longer, but when the Banaradga god rose again from the crocodile’s head, a river of imaginary numbers surged out of one hole and headed towards another.
Because the river rushed out so rapidly, the Banaradga god and the crocodile couldn’t react in time and were directly swept away and submerged. The
Banaradga god tumbled several times in the river, nearly drowning. At the
critical moment, the crocodile, swimming in the imaginary river, lifted the Banaradga god up.
Standing atop the crocodile’s head, the Banaradga god was extremely excited.
“This is my first time performing a secondary creation.”
“However, we Banaradga gods can only perform a complete creation once in our lifetime. Once creation is successful, I will enter this world, my body will become part of it. I will be unable to move, and can only become a settler.”
“Divine Crocodile, I want to take a layer of earth and a crater from you.”
The divine crocodile said, “My lord, take it. Master gave us seven craters and seven layers of earth, which means we have seven chances to fail.”
The Banaradga god laughed heartily and reached out to pluck the crater from the divine crocodile.
“Mother gave me seven craters and seven layers of earth, probably because she was afraid my skills weren’t good enough, and I would fail during the secondary creation, causing a lot of problems. That’s why she gave me seven chances to make amends.”
“I have seven chances to make amends; I should be able to transform this world into the ultimate world!”
He held the earth and craters above his head, carefully standing on the divine crocodile’s head, searching for a place to place the earth.
Everything needed to conform to the principles of creation.
Therefore, he has been doing this action for countless years, searching for a place to create the world.
After countless ages, the Banaradga god finally found the right spot, casting the land and crater onto the imaginary sea river he had fished out.
Countless planes of reasoning were immediately projected onto this land and crater.
The sun and moon revolved around the crater.
Day and night were born.
The crater and land fell into the sea, and the boundary between sky and earth appeared. A deep blue sky and earth appeared above the crater, while the underground portion automatically evolved at the base of the crater.
But the entire crater was constantly sinking.
Then, at this moment, the Banaradga god leaped directly from the head of the crocodile god. His body began to lose its boundaries, and his form began to change at the level of the hidden true form of all things.
The hidden true form of the Banaradga god was originally of a particularly high level,
possessing the qualification to evolve all things.
And so, this Banaradga god transformed into a part of the earth. His body appeared beneath the crater and the earth, his feet piercing through the Imaginary Sea River. He essentially carried the world on his shoulders.
He became a part of this world!
A part beneath the earth, beneath the Imaginary Sea River.
Locke, Hussein, and Henry were stunned by this sight.
The three exchanged glances.
So this was the Builder God race, participating in secondary creation in a region where the seeds of creation had already sprouted, allowing the world to evolve and accelerate according to their own will, and evolving into a part of the world, becoming “the world.”
At least a part of that world.
Hussein said, “But this isn’t right. Because beneath the three worlds now isn’t the ‘below the world’ that the Banaradga god transformed into, but a lotus leaf of creation. If this Banaradga god were still here, how dare the Persepolis god race invade?”
“The Banaradga god race and the Persepolis god race are enemies.”
The History Replay spell accelerated time again.
The scene distorted, and in the next moment, the Banaradga god, who had transformed into the “Below the World,” suddenly crawled out again, frantically, from beneath the earth and craters of the Three Holes World.
He gripped the crocodile’s tail with one hand, and with the other hand in a crawling motion, he frantically escaped the Three Holes World.
He cried out in alarm, “Crocodile, the Nightmare Legion and the Persepolis gods are fighting nearby. There’s also the Throne Wizard nearby! This is no good place. We can’t stay.”
“We must leave quickly.”
“This unfinished world has to be abandoned.”
The crocodile also felt the area was too dangerous. He flicked his tail, carrying the Banaradga god and the six-story palace, fleeing at breakneck speed, leaving behind only a Three Holes World on the verge of sinking.
Old Henry’s eyes widened at this sight.
“This…this is too arbitrary!”
Locke said. “This can be considered a choice. I see. The Three Holes World was flawed from the very beginning. The bottom of the Three Holes World should have been beneath the world formed by the Banaradga gods, at the very bottom of the earth.”
“But the Banaradga gods left.”
“That’s why all those things happened afterward.”
After losing the Banaradga gods, the Three Holes World was suddenly thrown into turmoil, with countless floods threatening to submerge this newly created, unfinished world, returning everything to the primordial chaos.
Hussein suddenly spoke up: “Locke, the scene inside this History Reenactment Spell seems to contain a fragmented secret of creation. Just watching it is very beneficial to improving our meditation techniques.”
Old Henry said: “That’s right, I also feel my magical pressure rising.”
Locke showed a thoughtful expression.
“But the Historical Recreation spell is merely a second-level spell model. Even if it can store some historical event information, it shouldn’t be able to store the secrets of creation. But Hussein is right; I think the completeness and sophistication of the Historical Recreation spell given to us by my demigod Nicholas far surpasses the spells of my true self.”
Hussein glanced at Locke and then said, “Usually, there’s always a reason behind anything unusual.” (
