Chapter 706 The Third Great Magical Attack!

Wizard Smith looked at Georgina, the witch draped in a golden wizard’s robe, a hint of joy flashing across his face. Georgina’s magic pressure had decreased from 12,000 to 10,000.

She was just one step away from falling out of the second circle.

Although he didn’t know what Georgina was up to by deliberately lowering her magic pressure, this was indeed his opportunity.

Wizard Smith made his move, and a meteorite, imbued with star power, fell from the sky, directly attacking Georgina.

‘While there are many kinds of Great Magic in textiles, with hundreds of historical records of textile Great Magic in Cloud Marsh alone,’ Wizard Smith thought in a flash, ‘but those Great Magics in textiles generally involve weaving some kind of second-circle alchemist’s loom.’ “

Ultimate textile magic transforms valuable but out-of-control items, high-energy but harmful items, or harmful substances into useful magical items through reweaving.

This act itself regulates the flow of energy and matter within the world,

thus gaining its support.

Simultaneously, wizards, by helping the world reshape disordered items into ordered magical items using textile magic, gain materials, energy, and equipment in the process,” Wizard Smith

pondered. “This is ultimate textile magic. However, ultimate textile magic generally has a weaker offensive aspect, excelling more at production than combat.

For them, the allure of acquiring an ultimate magic that accelerates their magical item production is probably greater than that of powerful offensive magic. Although, when constructing ultimate magic, they generally use some form of textile offensive magic as a blueprint.” “

Wizard Smith said, ‘Her Great Magic hasn’t truly manifested yet; it’s merely a framework, like an asset without capital flow.’

And the characteristics of Great Magic in Weaving mean that she can’t immediately possess the power to resist my Great Magic before she can weave a powerful Second-Circle magical item. Therefore, I win.’

Wizard Smith pondered. ‘At this moment, the magical garment she’s woven is only at the peak of the First-Circle. It’s insignificant to me now.’

The next moment, the meteorite that was falling towards Georgina the Witch suddenly and inexplicably disintegrated in mid-air, shattering into countless small fragments, then turning into harmless dust that fell to the ground.”

Wizard Smith paused, looking at Georgina Witch with a frown. “How is this possible?” he asked.

“Your current magical pressure shouldn’t be enough to do this.”

“Most of your textile magic’s defensive and offensive spells heavily rely on magical items.”

“You don’t have a single second-circle magical item on you, how could you possibly withstand my attack?”

The next moment, countless meteors rained down on Georgina Witch from the sky above.

Balls of fire fell towards

her, but they all inexplicably shattered as soon as they reached her.

Wizard Smith’s expression changed slightly. “Something’s wrong.”

“I don’t understand.”

His pupils contracted slightly.

Georgina Witch sighed. “Wizard Smith, you should understand. For a wizard, when you admit you don’t understand, you’ve already lost.”

“I’m asking you, how did I do that?”

Wizard Smith swallowed hard, chanting a spell. The next moment, a massive meteorite fell towards Georgina Witch’s head.

‘Watch again.’ “

Her magical pressure is so low, and her Great Magic is a Weaving Great Magic. Without magical items, how can she resist my Meteor Great Magic attack?”

This time was no different.

The massive meteorite fell from the sky, splitting into harmless fragments before even reaching Georgina the Witch.

Below the Silent Throne, the wizards in the once bustling spectator area held their breath, observing the match intently.

Not only was Wizard Smith confused, but even they couldn’t understand it.

Not only were they confused, but the wizards from the various large-scale wizarding academies in this spectator area were also bewildered.

Even the seven Sun Ring wizards on the judging panel were confused, and thus unusually remained silent instead of commenting on the contestants’ performances.

Regardless of how Great Magic is constructed, several rules should remain consistent.

First, the total magical pressure of the Great Magic.

Second, whether the Great Magic is cast.

Third, Weaving Great Magic heavily relies on magical items to unleash its power.

But these three points were overturned in the battle between Georgina the Witch and Wizard Smith.

A wizard with 11,000 magic pressure, unleashing a massive magical attack with an enormous total magic pressure, couldn’t even get close to Georgina the Weaving Wizard.

This was completely illogical.

The meteorite that shook the heavens and earth was theoretically something Georgina the Witch couldn’t possibly stop in her current state.

What had happened?

The seven Sun Ring Wizards on the judging panel looked towards the viewing area of Bonifacius University.

At this moment, the wizards in the Bonifacius University viewing area burst into applause.

The highest-ranking Sun-ring Magic Weaver present to watch the competition spoke up: “Boniface University has recently produced two Throne Wizards, both of whom are Magic Weavers.”

“Boniface University already had a Dean of the Fourth-Ring Truth Wizard Academy, who was also a Magic Weaver.”

“The number of high-ring Magic Weavers has increased, but the corresponding resources for the discipline haven’t kept pace. The Magic Weavers at Boniface University have taken different development paths from those led by the Rose Council, and this disagreement has persisted for years without resolution.”

This Sun-ring wizard coldly glanced towards the Rose Council’s direction and addressed the Magic Weavers there: “Therefore, we are tired of these pointless disputes with you in this secondary discipline.”

“The time for a split has come.”

“Take a good look. This was arranged by the higher-ups of our academy. In this competition, Bonifacius University will change history here.”

The Sun Ring Wizard looked at the viewing area of the Storm Tower and said, “Those institutions that have consistently performed at the bottom in the Five Great Wars, take a good look. This is Bonifacius’s attitude towards the battle for academic standing.”

His words caused a stir throughout the hall.

The battle for academic standing in Yunze Wetlands is fierce. While other wizarding lands compete for academic status based on honors and standards, Yunze Wetlands’ battle is akin to the Five Great Wars!

For the wizards of Boniface University to claim they intend to change history here is an overstatement.

What could possibly change history?

What could possibly separate them from the Rose Council’s textile studies?

The wizards of the Rose Council’s textile studies also looked grim.

Other textile-focused wizarding colleges and textile-focused shop alliances were all whispering amongst themselves.

What was Boniface University up to?

Textile weavers, in general, detest change, which is why the industry has adopted a small-scale, workshop-style production model, and related associations have established a series of rules to protect vested interests.

In the Silent Plane,

Georgina, with a calm gaze, looked at Wizard Smith before her and suddenly asked, “Don’t understand?”

The next moment, countless rays of light surged in from afar.

Beams of light fell into the Loom of Destiny, causing it to grow larger and larger, with parts appearing one after another, its size gradually expanding to the scale of a city.

Wizard Smith’s eyes widened in confusion. “This…this isn’t a supreme magic of textiles.”

“And where did you get such a large amount of magical pressure to unleash your supreme magic?”

The witch Georgina stroked the Loom of Destiny with her fingers. “I used holy gold and immortal iron developed by alchemists as the raw materials for the loom, the scales of the Time Dragon as the spindle, and the silver sword of Gillianus as the shuttle to complete this loom.”

“Then, I used my magical pressure as the weft and the fate of mortals as the warp to complete the weaving.”

The witch Georgina explained, “I transformed my magic into threads, into the clothes worn by those mortals.”

Suddenly, golden specks of light appeared behind her, releasing magical radiance that fell upon the Loom of Destiny, illuminating it with a golden glow.

Wizard Smith saw that among those specks of light were garments worn by mortals.

Wizard Smith’s expression shifted slightly. “Impossible. The ultimate magic of textile science couldn’t possibly have such a deep connection with mortals. You’ve practically incorporated those mortals into your ultimate magic. Shouldn’t the main components of your textile science’s ultimate magic be magical objects?”

“This isn’t textile science’s ultimate magic,”

Georgina said. “It has been from today. From today onward, this is the ultimate magic of the textile school.”

Wizard Smith was stunned.

The textile school?

In the wizarding world, only first-level disciplines can call themselves schools, but textile science is a second-level discipline under the alchemy school, so it’s a sub-direction of textile magic within the alchemy school.

But Georgina said she was using textile school magic. Did she mean that from today onward, textile science would develop into a first-level discipline? Georgina said

, “The total magical pressure I unleash with my ultimate magic naturally comes from the fate of those mortals.”

At this moment, the fate weaving machine before her began to work, the fate of mortals and her magical pressure turning into threads, creating magical garments that fell to the earth.

Meanwhile, her pre-arranged charity members swiftly distributed these free magical garments that had fallen from the sky to ordinary people throughout the world.

The points of light on Georgina’s fate-weaving loom continued to increase.

Her own magical pressure also rebounded from rock bottom, rising from 10,000 to 11,000, 12,000, and even surpassing its previous level.

Georgina had originally intended to use this competition to promote the new textile science recently developed by Bonifaceus University to the various wizards of Yunze Wetlands. She

coldly glanced at Wizard Smith; only someone like him could she absolutely not forgive.

White wizards and black wizards were clearly distinct.

This person had disrupted that distinction. The

Silent Grail was a competition where the various academies would demonstrate to the wizards of the entire Yunze Wetlands what advanced, supreme magic truly was. She absolutely could not allow this black sheep to continue to exist here.

Georgina the Witch said, “The original old textile science, limited by its thinking, leaned more towards the alchemy school. Although called textile science, it was actually close to alchemy in every way.”

“The old textile science focused too much on the study of materials, while its research on weaving techniques went astray.”

“Our Boniface University, however, drew inspiration from prophecy, noticing that the endless void and the various worlds themselves are the most beautiful textiles. We textile wizards originally studied the principles of weaving these worlds and integrated our understanding and research into our textile magic.”

“But the alchemy wizards and some college weavers completely led the industry astray, making this originally excellent discipline unable to even compete for a first-class discipline.”

Georgina the Witch continued, “The new textile science focuses more on the study of the principles of the world and on the study of weaving methods.”

She gestured, and a garment she had made for a mortal appeared in her hand. “Therefore, the textile science of Boniface University hereby declares a complete break with the old textile science.”

“We will exist as a new doctrine.”

Georgina the Witch said to Wizard Smith, “The new textile science believes—truth lies between the needle and thread. If truth cannot be revealed through the simplest clothes worn by mortals, but requires advanced alchemical materials and to be worn by high-ring wizards, then it cannot be called truth.”

“Our Boniface University, based on prophecy, observes the ups and downs of mortal fate, seeing the principles of the weaving of the web of destiny, and thus transforms it into a textile weaving method.”

“This is the Weaving of Destiny, combining plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave. As for the specific effects, please watch carefully.”

Wizard Smith looked at Georgina the Witch and said, “I still don’t understand where your total magical pressure comes from?”

“Why do mortals providing you with energy when they wear your clothes? You’ve deprived them of some power, so why are they completely unaffected now?”

You see, those Star Prayers have already been sucked into the space of the outer meteor, becoming Protoss.

Georgina, the witch, gave those mortals magical garments and even lowered her own magical pressure, yet those mortals were still lively and energetic, completely unaffected by Georgina’s control.

Wait a minute.

Wizard Smith finally understood the strange thing he’d sensed.

Those mortals had clearly become part of Georgina’s Great Magic, the Weaving Machine of Fate, so why were they completely unrestricted?

It was as if they were still living as before?

Hadn’t they been captured by Georgina’s Great Magic?

Georgina sighed. “Smith, why don’t you understand? It’s not necessary to steal something from others like you do to accumulate magical pressure.”

“The magical garments I wove for the mortals are essentially a layer of skin for them. The key is that I gained their existence, the point in their existence within fate.”

“You still don’t understand?”

Wizard Smith fell into thought. “Fate nodes? Collecting fate node energy? How is that possible?”

“No, if it’s about collecting fate nodes, shouldn’t the fate nodes of nobles be larger than those of mortals? What use is collecting the fate nodes of mortals?”

The witch Joanna was demonstrating her immense magic. Countless golden points of light converged behind her, and golden lines appeared on her body, connecting the fates of these mortals.

“The fate of nobles does indeed, to a large extent, more easily influence the collective fate of society. But if I seize their fate, it’s like catching several big fish. But if I win over mortals, it’s like merging into this ocean.”

“Using nobles as nodes of destiny merely makes me a larger piece on the chessboard of fate. Using mortals as nodes of destiny allows me to create a completely new chessboard.”

“How do I utilize these nodes of destiny? I use new textile magic to connect those mortal beings, drawing their spiritual essence into my immense magic. I don’t exploit them, nor are they bound by me.”

“I simply form a new network of destiny with them, a network called the Destiny Loom.”

The witch Georgina said, “The Destiny Loom strengthens the network of destiny in this world. Textile magic can utilize the spiritual essence of mortal beings to weave a network of spirituality, indirectly influencing destiny, untying knots of destiny, and making destiny more orderly—” “

Let the hardworking become wealthy, the kind become fortunate, and the ambitious become lucky. Since it’s an intangible destiny, I naturally don’t need to plunder the energy of these mortals, because I, together with them, constitute the Destiny Loom.”

“Smith, you can’t obtain magical pressure solely through direct plunder. Your capacity is too small. By having the natives of this world join the virtual community I’ve established, and controlling the distribution mechanism, I can still obtain a significant amount of magical pressure from them,”

said Georgina the Witch. “Controlling distribution is controlling capital. And your understanding of capital is inferior to mine, so you’ve lost.”

“The Spinning Machine of Destiny is a correction and enhancement of destiny. Under its intervention, existing problems can be resolved with new textile magic. Therefore, my immense magic can help this world untangle its tangled threads of destiny and help it clarify itself.”

“The original textile science was too heavily reliant on alchemy, becoming merely a subsidiary discipline. My new textile science will forge a new path.”

The World Will now favored Georgina the Witch.

The previously stagnant World Will had become active once more.

“You lost to me because your understanding of capital is too shallow. You didn’t know that the power to distribute wealth is the greatest asset.” Georgina the Witch looked at Wizard Smith and said, “Now do you know you didn’t lose unjustly?”
