Chapter 401 Primordial Fire and Transaction

Locke’s eyes moved slightly. He didn’t expect that the great wizard Sura would actually take out such a thing in order to win him over.

The so-called primordial fire is a flame that remains under the ground of a plane when part of the original power has not evolved completely during the evolution process when the plane was formed.

It is very rare.

Basically, it is only possible for it to exist in worlds of medium size or above, because its formation mechanism is full of coincidences and is not inevitable.

Moreover, even if this primordial fire exists, it only exists at the bottom of the earth’s core in this plane, so it is extremely difficult to locate.

Therefore, even if there really is such a flame in a medium-sized plane, it would be impossible to locate and find it without hundreds of years.

This kind of flame is indeed a treasure for potion makers, but for other wizards, it is just a precious rarity.

Locke looked at the orange flame that was bound by magic and thought, “If I can imprint my soul on that flame and manipulate this primordial flame, then I can almost control most magical flames and increase the switching speed and size control speed of magical flames to an incredible level.”

“If I had a Primordial Fire, the improvement in my potion skills would be unimaginable. I would immediately be able to refine the most difficult potions among the first-ring potions.”

Locke took a look at the kindly smiling great wizard Sura, and had to admit that a primordial fire, even just its flame, was indeed very attractive to Locke.

“Although the Great Wizard Sura explained everything perfectly, he actually offered such a precious item just to get me to help the indigenous mage of this plane gain the ability to cast first-level magic. The very existence of this matter seems very strange.”

Locke pondered for a moment and said to the Great Wizard Sura, “When I was fighting that indigenous Mage Saint just now, I noticed that when he cast a first-level spell, the gap between his soul and the domain would vibrate, causing his soul to be unable to withstand the tremendous pressure of casting a first-level spell.”

“But I have mastered a technique that can bless a living being with the power of a magical plant, strengthening its soul. And I’ve observed that the staffs used by your mages themselves use the apprentice-level magical plant [Perilla Fir Tree].”

“In other words, the magic plant already participates in the power cycle of the mage system you created. Therefore, I believe that this plan is highly feasible.”

“All you need to do is plant some red hollies in this Mage Saint Hall City. I can then find a way to have those red hollies bless your Mage Saint natives. This way, they should be able to withstand the huge shock of releasing the first ring of magic.”

Locke thought about it and felt that this was probably another million-level project plan.

And this is because I am familiar with this technology and it is reliable. If someone else were to do it, even if I scatter millions of magic stones, there might not be a single sound.

Scientific research is such a resource-consuming thing.

In fact, with the three major projects he was working on within the Plutarch family, it was no wonder that the wizards of the Plutarch family thought he was helping Alicia make money. After all, in their opinion, could Locke’s three project goals be achieved with 500,000 magic stones?
The great wizard Sura’s eyes lit up when he heard this, but he remained restrained, pretending not to be that anxious. His tone was only slightly more urgent, and he was no longer talking to Locke because of their good relationship.

But because Locke was very useful to him.

This change in attitude is extremely important.

The Great Wizard Sura suppressed his anxiety and said, “I wonder if you can use that technology to exchange for my Primordial Fire. As long as I am sure that the technology is useful, I will immediately hand over the Primordial Fire to you.”

Locke was a little speechless.

He is indeed an old conspirator. He went through so much trouble by pretending to be sick and came up with a conspiracy. As he expected, he was extremely stingy.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked me for a sponsorship of 1.5 million magic stones as soon as we met.

This guy is obviously very stingy. What does he mean by making sure of the effect before making a deal?

The technology in his hands was related to the Sanctuary Forest. Not to mention that it was impossible to use it without huge benefits, after all, it was related to the secret of his permanent defensive force field.

For wizards, secrecy is power.

Moreover, the primordial fire is very important to me, but that’s all. If I have it, it’s great, but if I don’t have it, I can do it myself.

After all, there were plenty of potion masters in this world who were even more skilled than him. Even without a Primordial Flame, couldn’t they still create incredibly difficult potions?!
Therefore, based solely on the item’s demand, the Primordial Flame wouldn’t allow him to make such a deal.

It’s not enough.

Of course, there is a degree of cherishment.

The primordial fire cannot be priced because it is impossible to enter the market for trading in places like the southeast corner and the land of six towers. Once discovered, it will be immediately distributed to stakeholders.

There will always be people who want this kind of thing.

That is to say, the Plutarch family mainly specializes in the bloodline transformation route of the school of spellcasting, and has little interest in the primordial fire. There are no powerful potion masters in the family.

Except for Alicia, the future head of the family.

But the problem is that the Plutarch family doesn’t like Alicia spending too much time in the field of alchemy. After all, their family is based on the magic of the school of conjuration, so the great wizard Sulla would consider trading the Primordial Fire with himself.

Otherwise, the great wizard Sura would definitely give it to her directly like he gave the [Boiling Silver Spring] to Alicia, and would never give it to himself.

Locke thought for a moment and said, “Great Wizard Sura, with all due respect, even if I were to trade my technology with you, your family’s wizards don’t have enough capable breeders and botanical wizards to lead this project.”

“Besides, things are done in secrecy, and it’s not good if too many people know about it.”

The Great Wizard Sura reacted and glanced at Locke with admiration. “Well said. Secrecy is the key to success.”

“Young man, you’re quite steady in your work. No wonder Alicia can rely on you to suppress my good-for-nothing son Eric and my even worse-for-nothing grandson George.”

The great wizard Sura said, “Okay. Then I will change the terms of the deal.”

With a wave of his hand, all the layers of magical restraints around the primordial fire disappeared. The originally calm primordial fire immediately rioted, turning into a fire meteor, rampaging in the room, directly hitting a hole in the wall of a room with magma flowing, and constantly passing through and colliding in different rooms.

The Great Wizard Sura said, “I’ll give you this Primordial Fire for now. In the meantime, you’ll be responsible for constructing the project you just mentioned within my Mage Saint Hall City. I’ll also find a way to transfer 500,000 magic stones from my personal funds.”

Locke shook his head. “Five hundred thousand magic stones is a bit tight, and where are the manpower?”
