Chapter 1063 Two Hundred Million Magic Stones Transaction!

While on the phone, Wizard Tristan Walden glanced down at the list of documents in his hand.

Among the first-ring magic plant procurement list, the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow (the windmill version) ranked first in both performance and cost-effectiveness, with a precipitous gap in performance compared to the second-place plant.

The second-place first-ring magic plant was developed by Quinnjol’s own breeding research group, called [Water Willow Spinning Single-Winged Fruit]. The advantage of this first-ring magic plant is that it possesses a magic pressure conversion flight speed close to that of the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow, a ratio of 3. Although lower than the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow’s magic pressure conversion flight speed ratio of 4.5, its advantage lies in the fact that this magic plant has multiple natural magic structure components with healing abilities, and it has also undergone breeding treatment adapted to the abyss environment, ensuring its effectiveness there.

This allows Quinnjol’s first-ring wizard legion to heal while moving, making the wizard legion more versatile in both combat and retreat.

But who would have thought that the recently added Elemental City Plane of the Abyss, under the control of its Plane Lord, could activate a special planar ability that caused all the elements in the world to go berserk, resulting in an instantaneous change in the attributes of all the elements that make up the entire world.

The healing ability of the Water Willow Spinning Single-Winged Fruit Magic Plant completely lost its effect, and its magic pressure conversion flight rate dropped to 1.

This was extremely bad.

It caused a major problem for Quinnjoll’s first-ring wizard legion.

If it weren’t for the witch interfering with Quinnjoll’s century-old achievements, they might even have abandoned their attack on the Abyss.

But unexpectedly, the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow (the windmill version) showed amazing resilience in this event. For some reason, this magic plant was not affected much, and its magic pressure conversion flight rate was still maintained at around 4.

This puzzled the wizard Tristan Walden.

Thanks to this Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow, Quinnjoll’s first-ring wizard legion finally managed to escape the trap set by the demon god Papalil without any real danger.

The leaders of Quinjol immediately asked him how he had acquired this magical plant. Tristan Walden, the wizard, was initially adamant about not doing business with Locke, feeling he was losing money, but under persistent questioning, he finally told the high-ring wizards of Quinjol that it was Locke Augustine’s creation.

He was then asked to come back and buy Locke’s products again.

Tristan Walden, the wizard, was utterly baffled as to how Locke had managed it, which is why he directly asked Locke how to cultivate magical plants unaffected by the changes in the abyss environment.

After all, he was thick-skinned; if this young man was thin-skinned, he could press him and perhaps uncover some clues.

He had secretly ordered Quinnjoll’s breeders to try many times, imitating the Great Blue-Leaf Dragon Sparrow in cultivation, but even using the Great Blue-Leaf Dragon Sparrow directly as a grafting technique, they couldn’t cultivate magical plants that approximate the Great Blue-Leaf Dragon Sparrow’s effects.

In the video call log, Locke’s expression remained unchanged.

“Lord Walden, you jest. This is my trade secret.”

Because of his special relationship with the Thousand-Eyed Abyss Plane, he had a unique advantage in researching abyssal magical plants, coupled with his title as the Child of Chaos and the power of the Moon Cultivation Method.

Tristan Walden glanced at Locke silently for a few moments, then smiled and said, “Of course, I just wanted to commend you, Locke, on the amazing ability of your magical plants to move freely within the abyss.” “

That’s why I’d like to purchase magical plants from you a second time on behalf of Quinnjoll. This time the quantity is even larger, so I hope you can offer a discount.”

“Quinnjoll finds your magical plants quite interesting. While other aspects are somewhat lacking, their adaptation to the abyss environment is exceptional. So, considering the large purchase, I wonder if you could offer some discounts?”

Tristan Walden said, “It’s a rare opportunity.”

“This opportunity was specially secured for you,”

Locke immediately smiled, because if Quinnjoll hadn’t genuinely needed his Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow, given Tristan Walden’s pursuit of ultimate cost-effectiveness, why would he have come to him again?

It seems Quinnjoll’s abyss war this time hasn’t gone smoothly.

Locke coughed and said, “As you know, maintaining a production line is very costly. Because you mentioned last time that you might not buy the Windmill version of the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow from my Silver Peach Garden again, I have already stopped production of this version of the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow.” “

After all, this is a magical plant specifically designed for the wizards of Quinjol.”

“So, after you stopped buying it, I naturally stopped production immediately and had Silver Peach Garden focus all its efforts on producing the Great Magic Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow and the Great Crying Dragon Sparrow system for the wizards of the Tide Great Wizard Tower Academy along the Tianjiang River.”

Tristan Walden sat at his desk, gripping his teacup tightly, then took a sip.

“Oh? Production has stopped?”

Tristan Walden was actually quite panicked.

Locke was telling the truth.

Many small and medium-sized shop alliances, once they stopped producing a magical item for a short period, could switch production lines to produce something else. Even if someone wanted to order the original product, that alliance would struggle to establish effective production capacity quickly.

Therefore, Tristan Walden was deeply troubled.

Quinnjoll’s wizarding army had encountered serious problems in the fourth plane of the Abyss. The Berserker Elemental City plane was even more difficult to conquer than they had anticipated. In the fourth plane, elemental lord fortresses were practically everywhere. To conquer this plane, they would have to destroy these elemental fortresses bit by bit before attacking the Berserker Elemental City.

These elemental lord fortresses were constantly drawing elemental energy from the plane, converging it towards the Berserker Elemental City, strengthening its defenses.

Therefore, this plane was essentially a bridgehead to the Abyss.

This is likely a dimensional fortress specifically set up after the Abyss to prevent anyone from reaching level 443 a second time.

However, this has plunged Quinnjoll into a difficult struggle.

In particular, all the elements of the fourth plane periodically go berserk, affecting the functionality of almost all of Quinnjoll’s past magical artifacts.

Quinnjoll is frantically developing new technologies.

Currently, the only technologies they know of that are truly useful on the battlefield are the creations of a few wizards, including Locke Augustine.

Wizard Tristan Walden is facing a major headache.

“Can’t production capacity be restored immediately?”

Locke looked at Tristan Walden with suspicion. “Lord Walden, are you in such a hurry? Didn’t you say you were the one who secured this opportunity for me? Quinnjoll shouldn’t be in such a rush, should he?”

Tristan Walden took a sip of his wizard’s tea and then said, “You little rascal.”

“Alright. Quinnjoll is actually very interested in your Great Green Leaf Dragonfly.”

“We are willing to continue purchasing it for 400,000 magic stones per set.”

“We are showing our utmost sincerity. And you know my reputation. Although I am somewhat—cough cough—when it comes to negotiating prices, last time I settled the payment, I paid in full on the spot. There was no delay.”

Locke nodded; this was certainly one of Tristan Walden’s strengths.

He was very compliant with contracts and verbal agreements.

Even in the bet with him last time, when he lost, he fulfilled his promise on the spot.

Locke said, “However, the Windmill version of the Great Green Leaf Dragonfly is indeed difficult to resume production in the short term.”

Locke glanced at Wizard Tristan Walden, then changed the subject, “But our Silver Peach Garden’s upcoming Magic Plant Three-Piece Set happens to include the Windmill version of the Great Green Leaf Dragonfly, with two sets: one for the second ring and one for the first ring.”

Wizard Tristan Walden’s spirits lifted.

“Oh? Let me see.”

Locke sent over two prepared blueprints, along with a battle recording video. It showed him using the Great Magic Sword Tiger Orchid Dragonfly to block the aftershocks of the Moon Ring Wizard White Frost Witch’s attack, and a video of him using the Great Magic Sword Tiger Orchid Dragonfly to fight against the Tyrannosaurus Wizard of Rain Swamp: Kent.

Locke clicked on the two blueprints, and they automatically unfolded. One blueprint was for a Magic Plant Three-Piece Set consisting of the Windmill Dragonfly, Tiger Orchid Dragonfly, and Dark Gold Dragon Claw Air Pineapple; the other blueprint was for a First Ring Magic Plant Set consisting of the Windmill version of the Great Green Leaf Dragonfly, Super Black Hummingbird Pineapple, and Tree Fern Sea Gold Sand.

Tristan Walden glanced at the two sets and his heart skipped a beat. He knew Locke was clearly planning a bundled sale.

This gave him pause; the worst-case scenario of spending another 400,000 magic stones on a single set of the Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow was a blow to his ego. He realized Locke was just as he’d suspected—a real shrewd businessman, even going so far as to bundle the sets.

Although the shrewdness wasn’t quite what he’d expected.

Tristan Walden’s expression was grim.

He opened his battle log, and after reading it, his eyes brightened slightly.

“This magical plant looks quite ferocious and violent. But why are you showing me this? Neither of the two sets you recommended contains this magical plant.”

Locke pointed to the Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow in the second-ring blueprint.

“If this Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow is upgraded and evolved once more, it will become the Great Magic Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow in my battle log.”

Tristan Walden’s lips twitched slightly.

“Are you trying to give me empty promises?”

“These are, after all, two magical plants. Even if that Great Magical Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow is powerful, it’s not the same magical plant as yours. However, I saw your Sword Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow’s combat record last time. The person you fought was a wizard from a prestigious family of magic sword blacksmiths, judging by his age, it should be Wizard Grant. You were quite skilled to be able to cut his sword.”

“However, I don’t think his family will let this matter go so easily once they find out.”

“So, you don’t have the production capacity to produce one Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow, but you have the production capacity to produce so many magical plant sets and then sell them to me?”

Locke smiled and said, “Yes.”

Seeing that Wizard Tristan Walden’s expression was a bit off, he immediately added, “I’m currently doing business with these sets. Lord Walden, if needed, I can transfer these magical plants to you.”

Wizard Tristan Walden smiled.

“I see, I’m so sorry.”

“But I still want to buy a single Great Green Leaf Dragonfly. Can’t you take it out of the set and sell it to me first?”

“That way you can also give an account to the other buyer. You can pay for the other magical plants in the set first. That way, you can provide products to two buyers at the same time.”

Locke glanced at Wizard Walden and smiled, “After I explain these two sets, Lord Walden can consider whether to buy them together. I don’t sell single plants anymore, you have to buy the set. But these magical plant sets of mine are also very good. First of all, every plant in both sets can be adapted to the Abyss. Secondly, the Tree Fern Sea Gold Sand in the first ring set is my creation, it can be enchanted with the Golden Fern Spear, which is very powerful.”

“I am very confident in my golden magic.”

“This Golden Fern Spear has been modified by me. Its power is about twice that of the ordinary Golden Fern Spear spell model.” “

The Super Black Hummingbird Pineapple Wizard Shoes are also a super single item wizard shoes in the first ring of my Augustus Shop Alliance.

The combination of the three is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.”

“The second-ring set allows you to experience the full power of the Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow, as Lord Walden should have already experienced. My Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow’s combat power in the fourth layer of the Abyss, combined with the spell model [Wind and Fire Banana Fan], can directly kill elemental demons that the Evocation School would normally struggle to kill.” “

The Dark Gold Dragon Claw Air Pineapple, Lord Walden also knows its level—”

“As for the Saber Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow—”

Wizard Tristan Walden said, “Wait, what you said before was all very good. Only this Saber Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow, the heavy elemental particles it produces have little effect on Abyss demons. You should understand this. Especially the elemental demons in the fourth layer of the Abyss, they already have very high elemental resistance, and heavy elemental particles are also an element.”

“Moreover, within the fourth plane, we have discovered that if we use powerful and unique Evocation magic models within the fourth plane, at certain times, it might actually help the Abyss create powerful Abyssal Elementals.”

With a wave of his hand, the wizard Tristan Walden vanished, and in his place appeared before Locke a crystallized wizard of Quinjol standing on the fourth plane of the Abyss, casting a fire spell. Within a vortex of purple flames, a powerful elemental lord with a body composed of purple fireballs was born.

Then the image vanished, replaced by the face of the wizard Tristan Walden. “You saw it too. It’s clear that at least your second-ring set isn’t suitable for us in Quinnjoll.”

“This is a first-ring spell model: Purple Flame Vortex. The result was that the plane absorbed this spell model, giving birth to an unprecedented elemental demon.”

“So—”

Locke said, “Lord Tristan Walden, I was prepared for this.”

Locke continued, “The heavy elemental particles of the Sword Tiger Orchid Dragonfly are mainly used to accelerate the Great Windmill Dragonfly. The Great Windmill Dragonfly can use the flames of ignited golden spirit energy and the magical winds evolved from various internal mechanisms to propel magical plants for flight or direct attack. The Wind and Fire Banana Fan utilizes this mechanism.”

“The biggest problem with the Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow is that it can’t maintain its top speed for too long. This is because the imaginary root for fishing for Golden Spirit Energy has a speed limit,”

Locke said. “This is because the Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow’s magic pressure conversion flight rate can’t be maintained at 14 indefinitely; once the Golden Spirit Energy is gone, it will drop to 11. But I modified the Wind and Fire Banana Fan spell model so that, when combined with the Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow and the Saber Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow, it can use the heavy element particles produced by the Saber Tiger Orchid Dragon Sparrow as a substitute for Golden Spirit Energy, allowing the Great Windmill Dragon Sparrow to maintain its wind and fire power.” “

This way, the magic pressure conversion flight rate can be maintained at around 13.”

Tristan Walden’s eyes flashed with interest.

Because if what Locke said was true, then it was indeed very attractive to him.

A magical plant that could maintain a magic pressure conversion flight rate of over 13 for a long time, a magical plant that was not affected by the abyss environment, would be very helpful to Quinnjoll.

Tristan Walden’s expression wasn’t very good, but the problem was that he, who was pursuing cost-effectiveness, was actually going to be tricked by this kid into directly buying a magical plant set?

If it weren’t for the high-ring wizard Quinjol’s insistence on purchasing the Great Azure Leaf Dragonfly, he wouldn’t have wanted to continue talking to Locke.

Wizard Tristan Walden nodded slightly.

“From what you’ve said, it is indeed very good.”

He glanced at the True Sight Crystal beside him, recording Locke’s explanation of the plant sets.

Locke noticed him recording, but it didn’t bother him.

Wizard Tristan Walden said, “Quinjol has already purchased most of the individual plant products in these two plant sets, so I think our wizards will be quite receptive. I just don’t know how much you’ll charge?”

Locke said, “1.2 million for a one-ring set, 3 million for a two-ring set.”

Wizard Tristan Walden blinked, because Locke’s Black Hummingbird only cost 100,000 magic stones, right?

Wizard Tristan Walden tapped the table with his finger.

“The first-ring set is too expensive. A set shouldn’t be more expensive than buying individual plants. That doesn’t make sense.”

“I think 800,000 for a set is more appropriate. 100,000 for a pair of Black Hummingbirds, 400,000 for a single Great Green Leaf Dragonfly, plus 300,000 for Tree Fern Sea Gold Sand.”

Locke said, “It’ll be at least one million. Because these three magical plants aren’t just sold to you as a group. I also need to add three Multi-Eyed Pineapples.”

“Great Green Leaf Dragonflies plus three Multi-Eyed Pineapples, two other magical plants, and a series of enchantment scrolls. The cost is very high.”

“What you’re buying isn’t just three ordinary magical plants, but my entire combat philosophy system.”

Wizard Tristan Walden considered it for a moment. Considering that the high-ring wizards didn’t ask him to buy second-ring magical plants this time, and that the second-ring magical plants were being handled by Quinnjoll’s breeders, the cultivation results should appear soon, this time the higher-ups only required him to continue buying more Great Green Leaf Dragonflies.

Tristan Walden said, “Then I’ll buy one set of your first-level magical plant equipment for one million magic stones.”

“I know getting you to lower the price is as difficult as getting me to be generous.”

“You little rascal, you just want to sell me more magical plants, right? I’m being really generous, buying so many of your magical plants right away.”

“Locke, there aren’t many buyers as generous as me these days. If it weren’t for our previous pleasant cooperation, I wouldn’t be giving you this much face.”

Tristan Walden secretly sent the video recording to another breeder he was about to talk to, along with a message: “

Look at them, so many magical plants for only one million magic stones. And these aren’t just loose plants, they’re a complete system. Offense and defense.” “

That Tree Fern Sea Gold Sand is unique; you can’t buy it from other shops in the alliance.” “

Do you think your magical plants are comparable to theirs?

So shouldn’t you lower the price a bit, otherwise I really can’t decide to buy your magical plants.”

Tristan Walden smirked. He knew he’d have to find a way to make up for the loss he’d suffered at Locke’s hands. He

couldn’t swindle Locke anymore,

so he’d have to find a way to swindle someone else.

Tristan Walden said to Locke, “Then I’ll buy two hundred sets of the first ring set.”

“As for the others, I don’t need them for now. Now I need to sign a contract with you.”

Tristan Walden had originally only wanted to buy four hundred more Great Green Leaf Dragonflies, but Locke wanted to bundle them together. Even so, he’d have to pay twice the price he expected, so he had to reduce the quantity.

“This is the last time, the last time,”

Tristan Walden thought, pursing his lips.

“After purchasing this batch, we should be able to temporarily meet the combat needs of the front lines. Once the academy solves the problem of the berserk element, we won’t need to buy the Great Azure Leaf Dragon Sparrow anymore. Finding a solution is just a matter of time for the academy.” “

This is the last time I’ll deal with this kid.”

Honestly, he’s made all the money.

Wizard Tristan Walden calculated that even just purchasing two hundred sets of first-ring magic plant sets would cost the academy two hundred million magic stones.

He almost choked with anger.

He had only intended to spend eighty million magic stones!

This amount far exceeded his expectations.

He quickly sent the video recording of Locke introducing his products to several wizards, and began to criticize the magic plant products of these breeders, citing Locke’s excellent product concepts. Actually, it wasn’t really criticism, just comparing prices.

He could only try to get revenge on Locke from other younger generations.

Locke, on the other hand, was stunned. He hadn’t expected to secure such a huge deal worth two hundred million magic stones so easily.

He had initially thought he’d have to do a lot of persuasion, and that Wizard Tristan Walden would find a way to lower the price.

His target was actually 900,000 magic stones per set, and he’d be happy to sell a little over a hundred sets.

After deducting costs and profit sharing from 200 million, he could at least pocket 80 million magic stones—

Lock’s breath hitched. Adding the 10 million magic stones he’d earned from previous business, and with Miss Bailouluo’s order completed, he might become a billionaire!

“I could be a billionaire!”

Locke hadn’t expected to have the chance to become a billionaire so quickly.

Why was Quinnjoll so invested in this Abyss War? He’d invested nearly 10 billion in it

, hadn’t he? Otherwise, how could he be so generous with his funds?

And it seemed Quinnjoll had suffered considerable losses in the war.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have bothered to come to him specifically to buy a large quantity of magic plants a second time, letting him profit at his expense.

These days, clients as big as Quinnjoll are hard to find.

Locke realized he had profited immensely from the fact that Quinnjore was caught in a war and needed breeders specializing in Abyssal science. It was precisely because of this special situation that he was able to reap such a large profit.

Most wizarding alliances that operated shops would go bankrupt.

His ability to earn such a large sum so quickly was partly due to luck.

His first-level set wasn’t cheap.

The three main first-level magical plants would sell for 300,000 elsewhere, but he wanted 1 million.

He found buyers because Quinnjore needed magical plants adapted to the Abyssal environment, a requirement few breeders could meet. Moreover, the urgency of the war created an unusually high demand for his magical plants.

The quality of his plants was indeed very high.

Most breeders operating shop alliances likely faced the problem of highly homogenized goods, lacking uniqueness and competitiveness. Without a large number of orders, costs remained high, and without suitable marketing channels, they couldn’t sell their products, resulting in unsold stock, continuous losses, and a vicious cycle.

Locke understood.

Actually, it’s quite possible that it’s not that business is difficult, but rather that the vegetables themselves are the problem.

A superior magical plant cultivated by an excellent breeder is inherently much easier to sell than one cultivated by a mediocre breeder.

How could the difficulty of doing business with such a plant be the same?

Locke said to Wizard Tristan Walden, “Then, regarding the contract, I need someone else to sign it on my behalf. I can’t leave the Rain Marshland recently. Is that alright?”

Locke knew that if he dared to temporarily leave the Despair Valley Laboratory, it was uncertain whether he could even return on the wizard’s airship.

What if the airship malfunctioned on the way, trapping him for months and preventing his return? Then the investigation mission here would be ruined.

That scenario wasn’t impossible.

Wizard Tristan Walden gave him a deep look.

“I’ve heard. You’ve recently gotten yourself into some trouble. As an old acquaintance who has done business with you twice, let me give you some advice.”

Wizard Tristan Walden tapped the table with his fingers.

“Never offend anyone because of work,”

Locke suddenly laughed. “Wizard Walden, you know what? Although you’ve always tried to rip me off in transactions, I’ve never felt angry with you.”

Wizard Walden raised an eyebrow. “Why is that?”

Locke said, “Because I know it’s your job. Protecting Quinnjoll’s interests is your mission.”

“So it’s perfectly normal for you to try to lower my price as much as possible in transactions.”

“So, if I’m just doing my job, who would think I’m offending him? If he insists on thinking I’m offending him, then essentially, he’s the one provoking me. Or he looks down on me, thinking I’m not worthy of doing these things.”

Wizard Walden smirked. “That makes sense.”

“If you’re just doing your job and fulfilling your responsibilities, then you haven’t really offended anyone,”

said Wizard Walden. “However, sometimes, there are many situations that can’t be explained by reason alone.”

“Alright, Locke, this should be our second to last meeting. Once we’ve completed the delivery and payment, we can never see each other again.”

Locke smiled but didn’t speak, instead completing the signing of the internal version of the contract for the water hyacinth with him.

After signing, Wizard Walden hung up the video call.

Locke then stared at the door, deep in thought.

“Looks like I’ll have to put in some other effort to try and get Quinnjoll to continue trading with me.”

“The Great Green Leaf Dragon Sparrow, the Fern Tree, and the Golden Sands should ideally have some synergy, creating a synergy greater than the sum of its parts. This could be best achieved through botanical spell models—hmm, perhaps I could close a new deal with the Red Witch, Mormodius. She has too many spell models stored up.”

“If we can reach a suitable cooperation with her, it will be good for both of us.”

“Besides, I also need to go into the Sea King’s World with Teacher Sea Queen. Anthony and the others should have already attended too many classes.”

Locke felt a headache coming on; he might not be able to keep up with the classes anymore.

He had missed so many lessons.

But if he wasted the course like this, he would have squandered the opportunity to be taught by a potions instructor that he had applied for at the Feathered Serpent Pavilion.

Locke took out the scroll, deciding that no matter what, he should enter the Sea King’s world first.

Because he was about to enter the memory world of the Despair Valley Laboratory again, and once he entered, he wouldn’t have time to enter the Sea King’s world again.

Anyway, he had already locked onto the Abyss Magic Plant as the solution to the problem by the wizard Probus.

“Using potions to feed back into breeding science, and using breeding science to elevate potions science, whether this idea can be realized, I don’t know yet.”

“But in any case, I have to try to know if it’s possible or not.”

Locke chanted a spell, activated the scroll, and the next moment, a portal opened in front of him.

Behind the portal was the Sea King’s world.

And from the Sea King’s world, an aura full of the power of the Void Gods emanated.

Locke frowned. “The magical pressure of the Persepolis gods—”

“Hmm? And many of the potions from wizards I recognize, especially the scent of Anthony the wizard’s potions. It seems the wizards in the accelerated training class have already clashed with the Persepolis gods.”

Locke

stepped inside.

In Quinnjoll, in the Abyss Wars weapons procurement department office, Wizard Walden leaned back in his office chair, then spun it away from the desk, crossed his legs, and looked towards the door.

“Speaking of which, I don’t seem to have the right to give advice like ‘Don’t offend people because of work.'”

“I myself often make those wizards grit their teeth with anger by lowering procurement prices; they call me ‘

Iron Broom’ in private.”

“Recently, I heard from colleagues that the Probus wizard incident has caused quite a stir. A name that everyone had forgotten has suddenly become widely known because of that kid. How will this matter unfold? I heard that many wizards who might be involved in this matter have been unable to eat or sleep lately.”

“If we’re talking about troublemakers, that kid certainly knows how to cause a ruckus.”

Walden’s face showed interest.

“Although I’m not planning to cooperate with him anymore, it’s good to keep an eye on things and see if his persistence leads to reality or just a pipe dream.”

—A

crystallized wizard assistant in Walden’s office said, “Keep an eye on things in the Rain Marsh.” “

You mean the matter of Golden Crown Mountain restarting its investigation into the Despair Valley Laboratory.”

“Hmm?”

“That wizard actually agreed to my outrageous price reduction. He’s too easy to talk to; I definitely can’t let him go. Remember to keep an eye on the results in Despair Valley.”

“I want to see if that kid’s persistence will lead to reality!”

Then, Walden quickly turned back, as if he had spotted prey, and began business negotiations with the wizard, his eyes fixed on the Ganoderma lucidum plant.

In a laboratory in the Southern Wizarding Capital, the White Frost Witch, upon hearing about the so-called Probus Truth-Revealing Competition, smashed a small magic mirror device beside her with a single slap.

Her five fingers were wreathed in icy magic, and the shards of the mirror floated into the sky along with bubbles of blue magical energy.

These shards contained powerful magic, as the mirror attempted to reconnect, but to no avail, its intricate structure destroyed.

“

Damn it!”

the White Frost Witch roared in fury.

The first-class wizarding apprentice witch who reported this to her was horrified. No wonder no one else had told their teacher; they had all passed the buck to her.

She secretly glanced at the magic mirror shattered by her teacher.

She couldn’t believe that someone could so easily break such a powerful, indestructible, seemingly indestructible magical artifact.

“Old—Teacher—”

the White Frost Witch exclaimed, “Damn it! Who on earth organized this competition? Is this disrespecting me, the White Frost Witch? Who dares to be so audacious?”

The first-class wizard apprentice lowered her head and whispered, “Old—Teacher, I heard it was the leader of the Golden Crown Mountain investigation team, Lord Locke Augustine.”

The White Frost Witch paused, for she had never heard of this name before, though she vaguely remembered her colleagues mentioning it a few times.

She only knew that Golden Crown Mountain was reopening the investigation into what happened back then, and that her Death Doctor teacher had said the matter had actually yielded some results.

“What happened back then—I did nothing wrong, neither the law nor morality. No one would think I was wrong.”

The White Frost Witch pursed her lips, which were devoid of any color. “If that’s

the case, why investigate at all?” “Besides, I don’t even know who was ultimately behind it all.”

The White Frost Witch checked Locke Augustine’s name.

“An excellent junior.”

She stared intently at Locke’s file, lost in thought for a long time.

Meanwhile, the witch apprentice in front of her, responsible for informing her, was at a loss, unsure whether to seize the opportunity to leave or remain in this awkward situation.

Rain Marshland, Despair Valley, within the Sea King World.

Upon arriving in this world, Locke discovered something particularly strange. The original divine realm of the Sea King World was a region shrouded in mist, with continents existing within the mist, inhabited by humans possessing cultivation and visualization techniques.

But now, the “divine realm” within the mist of the Sea King World was gone.

Locke looked down at the Sea King World and saw that the divine realm and the human world had merged, transforming into a vast landmass filled with mountains.

The principles of this plane had also undergone a tremendous change.

“What exactly did Anthony and the others do with the Persepolis gods?”

“The Persepolis gods modified the plane’s laws here. This is the response structure of the plane’s laws—”

Locke discovered that the plane’s laws in this world had become similar to those in the Three Cavern Worlds, easily responding to certain things within that world.

Locke took out his Green Dragon Vine, and the Spring Law of this world directly responded to it.

“Anthony and the others must have fought a major battle with the Persepolis gods in past lessons, leading to the great changes in the Sea King World. I wonder what Mountain Guest’s attitude is. And the modification of the plane’s laws in this world was probably done by the Persepolis gods,”

Locke pondered.

However, because the gods of the Three Caves World and the gods here belong to different pantheons, the characteristics of their modified dimensional laws differ. In

the Three Caves World, after being modified by the Persepolis gods, the dimensional laws easily resonate with humans, while here they easily react with objects, changing with the objects and directly elevating them to divine artifacts. The

green dragon vine in Locke’s hand, under the blessing of this dimensional law, also exhibited this tendency. Just as

Locke was about to act, he saw a wisp of pure energy appear before him, which quickly took shape ,

transforming into Mountain Guest.

Mountain Guest still looked like a憨态可掬 (endearing and simple-minded) ginseng spirit, beckoning to Locke with a few ginseng tendrils.

“Ah, it’s Master Locke! Long time no see! I haven’t seen you for months. Come here!”

“It really has been a long time. Where have you been lately?”
