We Agreed On Experiencing Life, So Why Did You Immortals Become Real? - Chapter 634
Chapter 632: Lord Ganhuang’s Lies
“A singer’s job is to sing well and have many people listen…” Qiu Langsha tried to explain his past as clearly as possible.
“No need to explain that, we understand.”
“Oh, then let me continue. At the time, I was giving a concert. It was a commemorative concert for my tenth anniversary of my debut. It was a huge event, and I invested a lot of money and effort.”
“I’ll never forget that night.”
“The whole world was shaking. The ground cracked, houses collapsed, and people were wailing. It was like the end of the world.”
The three of them exchanged glances. It seemed that the Eight Desolate World and Qiu Langsha’s world had collided.
Lord Gan Huang was truly untrustworthy and had hidden many things from them.
He claimed that three worlds had collided in the past six thousand years. Qiu Langsha’s world had been collided ten years ago, and now it had collided with Jiuzhou.
The Eight Desolate Worlds were colliding with other worlds far too frequently.
Thinking back to the eight Desolate Lords and the hundred Fusion Stage cultivators they had encountered at the border of Jiuzhou.
Lord Gan Huang claimed to be coming to rescue, but given the customs of the Eight Desolate Worlds, how could they be so selfless?
But the problem arises again. If the Eight Desolations frequently collide with the world and merge with it, it shouldn’t be as large as it is now.
The three of them checked the Eight Desolations world in the void, and it was indeed the size of three or four worlds merged together.
“Several figures appeared in the sky above the planet, it was suffocating. Logically, at that distance, we should not be able to see anyone at all, but we could all see those figures clearly.”
“It was as if they occupied our sight as soon as they appeared.”
“I saw fighter planes dispatched from the sky, rushing into the sky, warning the several figures. One of the figures waved his hand, and a beam of light appeared from his sleeve, sweeping across the fighter plane, causing it to explode.”
“The country dispatched the army to fight against those figures, and we all moved to the air-raid shelter.”
“Inside the air-raid shelter, we learned from news reports that the battle situation was very unfavorable to us.”
“Those figures were extremely strange. No attack could harm them. Nuclear bombs, infrasonic weapons… none of them worked.”
“Three days, just three days, and our national defense forces, which were based on aliens as the imaginary enemy, were exhausted, while the other side did not suffer any damage.”
“The army was completely wiped out, and those few people were scattered all over the world. Those who resisted were killed on the spot, and those who gave up resistance were thrown into a spherical object and transported to the Eight Desolations.”
“During the transport, I also saw other spherical objects colliding and merging. Inside those spheres were people from other planets.”
“I never expected my first alien encounter would be in a cage.”
“We prisoners were randomly assigned to various planets. I was lucky, possessing four spiritual roots, and was chosen by the Hualong Sect to become a menial servant.”
“When I first arrived here, I hoped to gain their sympathy through singing. Later, I discovered this was the Black Dragon Territory Lord’s star domain, and that the Black Dragon Territory Lord was one of several figures.” “From then on
, I completely gave up hope and planned to live out my life here in a daze. But then I discovered that the Hualong Sect would periodically find items from our world. After much inquiry, I learned that these were actually brought back by the Hualong Star Lord.”
Originally, these words were forbidden to be shared with outsiders. It would be tantamount to claiming a grudge against the Black Dragon Territory Lord, a reason enough to get him killed a thousand times over.
Furthermore, his attempt to track down the Hualong Star Lord’s whereabouts was a grave taboo.
But Qiu Langsha’s voice grew louder and louder, until by the end, tears welled up in his eyes.
He felt these three men were unlike other cultivators, trustworthy.
It was a trust he hadn’t given, but Qiu Langsha chose to trust his instincts.
Jiang Li sighed, patted Qiu Langsha’s shoulder, and whispered, “We’re too late.”
Qiu Langsha burst into tears.
Bai Hongtu stood up. “You have a causal connection with your planet. Let me find your planet.”
Originally, Bai Hongtu didn’t know the principles of causality; he learned them from the Yin-Yang Heavenly Seal after it gained intelligence.
Chanting an obscure incantation, Bai Hongtu activated the principles of causality and drew a white thread from Qiu Langsha’s body. He then emerged from the thatched hut, reached toward the sky, and shouted,
“Come!”
A strange thing happened. The moon-like planet overhead extended a thread, which reached Bai Hongtu’s hand and connected with the thread within Qiu Langsha’s body.
Qiu Langsha couldn’t see the thread in Bai Hongtu’s hand, but he felt a warmth, connected to his home planet.
Bai Hongtu pointed to a planet in the sky and said, “Your home planet is 700,000 kilometers from here.”
Qiu Langsha was stunned.
Yu Yin said, “We’re not from the Eight Desolations, but from another world, the Nine Provinces.”
“Bai Hongtu and I are at the Tribulation Crossing Stage, and Jiang Li is at the Mahayana Stage.”
“We’re going to visit your planet. If you’d like, we can take you with us.”
“Want to go?”
Qiu Langsha paused, realizing the underlying meaning of Yu Yin’s words. He nodded quickly, “Let’s go!”
Seven hundred thousand kilometers was a mere hop for the three of them. They covered Qiu Langsha with a protective shield and, with a single bound, they reached his home planet.
“But how could your home planet be so close?” Bai Hongtu was puzzled.
Qiu Langsha was equally baffled.
“I have an idea,” Jiang Li said.
“Lord Ganhuang said that the Eight Desolations only collided with three worlds, right?”
“Yes.”
“Assuming that the Eight Desolations world collided with other worlds multiple times and merged with them, would it be as big as it is now?”
“No.”
“Then is there a possibility that after the Eight Desolations world collided, it could separate the worlds.”
Bai Hongtu’s eyes widened: “Are you saying that the Eight Desolations world collided with other worlds, and then moved the planets of other worlds to the Eight Desolations side, and then separated the worlds?”
“That’s what I mean.”
Yu Yin also nodded. Jiang Li’s hypothesis cleared up a mystery in his mind.
“What Eight Desolations got from other worlds shouldn’t just be planets and people, but also spiritual energy.”
“Don’t you think? Eight Desolations has an abundance of spiritual energy. According to records, Eight Desolations does have a lot of spiritual energy, but not nearly as much as Nine Provinces.”
“And now that the Eight Desolations world has quadrupled in size, the concentration of spiritual energy has increased instead of decreased, reaching the same level as Nine Provinces.”
“Eight Desolations plundered spiritual energy from other worlds, and then separated those worlds, so the concentration of spiritual energy would increase.”
Bai Hongtu nodded, feeling that what Yu Yin said made perfect sense.
Jiang Li, however, looked puzzled: “Isn’t energy created out of nothing? Why would we have to steal it from other worlds?”
Yu Yin rolled her eyes at Jiang Li: “Alright, I know your promotion to Mahayana was achieved by creating something out of nothing. No need to emphasize it here.”
Jiang Li wanted to say something, but Bai Hongtu said, “Let’s explore this planet. It seems there are still survivors here.”
Jiang Li had no choice but to stop talking.
