Chapter 2 Return

After flying only three or four miles, Shui Dielan appeared out of nowhere and said with a sigh: “It can be seen that you are doing very well in the Ghost Devouring Shadow Sect.

” “Yes, we can’t let anyone ride on our heads.” Li Xun turned around and smiled, but his words were spoken in the same tone as Shui Dielan’s before, which immediately made Shui Dielan laugh.

But she soon scolded him: “How can you be i*imate with that woman in front of me?

” “Huh?

” “Huh? What? Don’t forget what our relationship is now! I tolerated your little lover because she was still loyal to you. Don’t take this opportunity to get more out of it!

” Li Xun immediately choked: “Wait, you said relationship? What is our relationship?

” “Husband and wife!” Shui Dielan said it righteously, not caring how ugly Li Xun’s face became after he said this.

He cried out: When did we become husband and wife?

“Don’t remember?” The heart knot I’d made earlier was originally cultivated to allow me to experience life as a married couple. Now that it’s in use, it naturally means marriage, a marriage between man and woman. What’s so strange about that?

Li Xun opened his mouth, but ultimately let out a laugh, tinged with awkwardness and dryness.

Intellectually, the concept of husband and wife didn’t mean much; with or without, it was the same for everyone.

However, from a fundamental perspective, he found it difficult to accept a female cultivator like Shui Dielan—or, more accurately, a demon—as his first, and potentially only, wife.

He wanted to say something else, but Shui Dielan spoke first, saying, “I’m serious now! You know, no matter what you and I plan, for at least the next hundred years, we’ll be living for each other.

” “As far as I know, there’s no more suitable category for a man and woman than husband and wife.” And I want to try this feeling. No discussion on this matter!

Li Xun smiled bitterly. “Try?” Just the tone of your voice doesn’t make it seem like it. Does sharing life and death mean being a couple? There are many things that you take for granted, but I just can’t do them!

“If I don’t ask you to do it now, no one can say what will happen in the future, as long as you have the courage!” Shui Dielan answered with a smile.

Is she teasing him with such a charming look?

Looking at Shui Dielan’s expression, Li Xun suddenly realized that his attitude in this matter seemed too weak. No matter from which aspect, he would not be the one who suffered.

The human mentality is the most subtle. He was reluctant before, but after a change of mind, he thought this matter was very interesting.

Their eyes met, and Li Xun found that he began to understand Shui Dielan’s thoughts. Whether it is cooperation or husband and wife, in the eyes of Shui Dielan, a great demon who has lived in the world for ten thousand years, these hundred years are just a more special experience in her long life.

Perhaps at first, she would find it quite novel, and possess a persistence that was incomprehensible to ordinary people. But as time passed, her curiosity would gradually fade, and the overly penetrating gaze formed by the long years would penetrate the essence of the pleasure.

Perhaps then, she would be bored.

Li Xun even wondered if the incident between Yao Feng and Lin Ge back then was related to this mentality.

Just as his mind was beginning to clear, Shui Dielan suddenly said, “But, I just decided to separate from you for a while!

” “Ah?”

Shui Dielan smiled softly and said, “Now that we’re husband and wife, do we have to be together?” Don’t worry, the heart knot will still work even if it’s a billion miles apart, but the reaction on the other end will be slightly delayed. “Is it about an incense stick’s time?”

She was clearly trying to change the subject. However, Li Xun didn’t want to care about what she wanted to do, and he couldn’t. After all, Shui Dielan would never do anything stupid in the past hundred years.

After the initial surprise, he hummed, as if he understood.

Although the two may not be of the same mind, to a certain extent, they know each other quite well.

Shui Dielan only needs to see the changes in his expression to understand his general thoughts, so she said no more, just smiled and said: I will leave now, but before I go, you have to give me a guarantee that I have the right to enter and exit Wuyinxuan at any time.

“Of course.” Li Xun did not hesitate at all: At least in the past hundred years, it has been like this!

The two smiled at each other, and Shui Dielan turned around and was about to leave, but she remembered something and turned around and said: For the sake of your life and mine, I have to say one more thing. Your body has great hidden dangers. If there is any accident during this period, you should practice “Blood God Son” – I see that there are traces of the imprint of not being evil in your mind.

Li Xun secretly praised her eyesight, and nodded honestly: Although I know it, I have never practiced since the state of not being evil.

“That’s good. Although the Blood Godson’s body-refining method is a demonic one, it is also unique in the world. It certainly cannot cure the root cause, but it can at least protect your life. I hope you won’t end up in that situation. Good luck!

Shui Dielan flew up, then turned back and smiled: Remember, saving your life is the first priority!

As she laughed, her figure suddenly blurred, and the next moment she disappeared.

Li Xun looked at the place where she stood before she disappeared, and smiled: If you want me to practice, you must tell me the reason.

He couldn’t describe the feeling in this woman’s heart. For some reason, according to reason, his current strength should be considered a top figure, but he always felt that he was not as calm and free-spirited as Shui Dielan, who had the demeanor of a strong and expert.

This made him unconsciously fall into a passive position during the conversation.

Is it a problem of experience? Or something else?

On another note, however, he was quite clear. With the departures of Gu Pin’er and Shui Dielan, while the Southeast Forest continued to see fierce fighting, it gradually lost its meaning to him.

He was undoubtedly the biggest winner in this chaotic conflict, which gave him the right to look down upon the unfolding farce within the forest with a condescending gaze.

This feeling was truly wonderful!

Now, he had Wuyinxuan in his hands, the foundation that made him invincible.

His status within the Mingxin Sword Sect and the Youhun Shiying Sect was also rising day by day, a capital he had gradually accumulated. Furthermore, there were the vast resources that were about to be encountered, which could enable him to achieve a qualitative leap.

At this thought, his heart moved. As he wished, You Er’s slender fingers grasped a scented note and reached out into the air. Li Xun reached out to take it, observing the beautiful handwriting that he could recite by heart.

“The appointment with Mo Cang Ling has been made. This disciple shall return with the complete copy of the Yin Fu Jing to see his master.

” Li Xun of Mo Cang Ling took a deep breath. Then, he grasped You Er’s still-strong hand and yanked it with all his might, forcibly ripping the puppet from the air.

As he expected, You Er remained calm despite this unexpected change.

In this situation, no matter how you looked at it, there wasn’t the aura of a living being!

Reaching out and gently pinching You Er’s delicate chin, looking at that calm, or perhaps wooden, face, he gritted his teeth and made up his mind: After sixty years, there must be an end! At most, it would be just a brutal act of destroying a flower!

Handing the scented paper back, he said coldly: In your reply, just say: meet in person!

The last two words rolled down like two ice beads.

Qin Wanru and You Er had been in contact for nearly thirty years.

After You Er regained her memories, Li Xun decisively resumed contact with Qin Wanru, regardless of her mental maturity.

This proved to be a very effective move.

Through a special channel known only to the master and apprentice, Li Xun, impersonating Yin Sanren, concocted a letter and sent it. This letter reaffirmed Qin Wanru’s faith, which had been gradually wavering for decades, and made her firmly believe that Yin Sanren was still alive and recuperating somewhere, hoping to make a comeback.

In the days that followed, the master and disciple maintained constant contact.

Although Yin Sanren often used seclusion as an excuse for periods of three to five years without contact, over the decades, Li Xun had accumulated nearly seven hundred letters.

In these letters, Qin Wanru meticulously explained her current situation, including her progress in cultivation, sect affairs, and even the most trivial details of her life.

This included, of course, her threats against Li Xun and her attempt to steal the complete copy of the Yin Fu Jing.

Li Xun would use these letters to discern her perceptions, understandings, and evaluations of him, and then formulate his plans accordingly. Precisely because he knew both himself and his enemy, Li Xun’s plans were seamless, impervious even to the shrewdness of Qin Wanru.

However, if Qin Wanru’s words remained invisible for too long, suspicion would inevitably arise.

In recent contact, Qin Wanru had frequently inquired about her master’s condition, when he would return from seclusion, and whether his disciples would visit him. Her words hinted at a tense situation, suggesting that Yin Sanren should be called upon to take charge.

If he continued to avoid her, Qin Wanru’s suspicions would likely rise again, and once they germinated, they would become uncontrollable.

Li Xun understood this all too well, and it was precisely for this reason that the meeting at Mocang Ridge, pretexted for the return of the Yin Fu Jing, had been arranged

. Li Xun walked the steep and rugged mountain path of Mocang Ridge, his hands behind his back, his emotions tangled. He had already transformed into the form of the Ming Xinling Bamboo, anticipating the upcoming meeting.

He had arrived here five days earlier and had carefully prepared the surroundings, just in case.

He couldn’t help but wonder: if You Er failed to deceive her and the two sides turned on each other, Qin Wanru would certainly be defeated, but his decades of hard work would be wasted.

He absolutely did not want this to happen. After all, for decades, under the guise of Yin Sanren, he had contributed to the Yin Yang Sect, no less than Qin Wanru. While

lost in thought, he felt a sudden sensation. At first, he thought it was Qin Wanru’s arrival.

But he quickly dismissed this suspicion.

The sound of breaking through the air was too numerous, at least a dozen people. Moreover, the changes in the sound were very familiar.

He flashed and rushed into the pile of rocks on the side of the mountain path. This place had been carefully protected, and he hid there without worrying about being discovered. As

soon as he disappeared, a flash of green light flashed in the sky, followed by fourteen consecutive lights and shadows, streaking through the air.

“Wen Hai? What a coincidence?”

Li Xun didn’t look away until the sword light passed over the other side of the mountain.

The leader of the group of cultivators who had just passed was none other than Senior Brother Wen Hai, a disciple of the third generation of the Mingxin Sword Sect.

The others were naturally Li Xun’s fellow disciples from the Mingxin Sword Sect. A fleeting glimpse revealed a few welcoming faces.

What were they doing here? He remembered that Wen Hai had been cultivating in seclusion in the mountains for the past few years, so why was he leading a group of fellow disciples on this journey in such a hurry?

Li Xun felt that something might have happened on Lianxia Mountain ,

but why hadn’t he received any information?

Leaping onto the mountain path, he frowned and pondered for a moment, ultimately deciding to put the matter aside for now.

There were always priorities, and in his opinion, the importance of today’s battle for Qin Wanru on Mocang Ridge was unparalleled.

And Qin Wanru had already arrived.

The subtle sound of a robe rising and falling through the air, the breeze carrying a refreshing fragrance, and at the same time, a voice as soft as water echoed in his ears.

“Junior Brother Xun, how are you?”

Li Xun turned around at the sound, his eyes lighting up. It had been a long time since he had seen Qin Wanru, and her grace seemed even more captivating.

Although she had come to this desolate and uninhabited mountainous region, she was still dressed in gorgeous clothes and beautiful accessories, looking like a young lady from a wealthy family out for a stroll.

She wore a long, emerald-colored dress woven from azure silk, embellished with ripple patterns. Not only was the green emerald green hue adorned with a faint shimmer of water, reflecting a multicolored light in the sunlight, a truly breathtaking sight.

The neckline of the dress was slightly low, revealing a hint of whiteness on her chest and the pale pink undergarment beneath. To this end, she fastened a pair of jade rings around her shoulders to wear a thin, gauze gown, slightly concealing her figure. The long sleeves fluttered

, making her look like an angel. Seeing such a stunning beauty, no matter how depressed Li Xun was, he was dazzled for a moment.

Because of this stimulation, his spirits suddenly soared, and his eyes scrutinized Qin Wanru without restraint, not concealing his desires in the slightest.

“Junior Brother Xun!” Qin Wanru sighed softly, her cheeks flushing slightly. She flicked her sleeves, the silken veils fluttering, momentarily shielding Li Xun’s overly direct gaze. Yet, amidst a hint of irritation, she still managed to look at him with a charming expression.

Her elusive affection and reservedness blended together, arousing the very sight of him.

Li Xun snapped back to his senses at this call.

He was secretly surprised, knowing that Qin Wanru must have advanced in her cultivation. Otherwise, how could she find such a unique flavor in the beauties he was so used to seeing?

After his surprise, he was filled with anticipation. How wonderful would it be to capture such a peerless beauty?

For a moment, he forgot all his worries and laughed heartily, saying, “Senior Sister Qin is becoming increasingly charming. Don’t blame me for losing my composure!

” “Losing my composure, how could I?” Junior Brother is known for his promiscuity. Hmm, you just broke up with Ni Shui Gou. How do you feel? I heard she’s a truly stunning beauty!

Li Xun smiled again, but he was secretly shocked at how quickly news of the Tongxuan Realm spread. Fortunately, no one knew about it yet. The biggest piece of the Southeast Forest Sea pie was already in his pocket. Otherwise, he would probably be stuck now!

He laughed and, following his explanation to Yan Caier, slightly altered it, recounted some of the Southeast Forest Sea incident, satisfying Qin Wanru’s curiosity. Then, he got straight to the point.

“Senior Sister Qin, I have fulfilled my mission. Here are the last three pages of the manuscript of the Yin Fu Jing. Please check it.”

He took out the manuscript from his bosom and handed it over.

Qin Wanru’s face showed a thrilling joy, and she reached out to take it.

However, when her fingertips lightly touched the paper, she stopped.

Li Xun was stunned, and then he heard her laugh softly: Come to think of it, this is the first time you have handed in this manuscript so readily in these few times. Is there some trick?

Li Xun was excited, knowing that he was anxious and unnatural. But he was not a pushover, and he did not show it on his face. He just raised the manuscript and smiled slightly: Senior Sister Qin has a good eye. Well, there is one thing we should make clear in advance.

Qin Wanru smiled sweetly, and that smile seemed to say that it was just as expected.

Since Li Xun was already prepared, he took his time and leisurely put the manuscript away. He put his hands behind his back and said, “It has been over sixty years since we met again at the North Pole, right? “

Qin Wanru said calmly, “Sixty-two years.

” “Yes! Sixty-two years.” Li Xun smiled and said, “In these sixty-two years, I have entered the sect’s secret library seven times, taking enormous risks, to copy this “Yin Fu Jing” for you, senior sister. Have I ever put forward any conditions so far?”

Qin Wanru’s eyes turned and she shook her head, saying, “Never.

” “Okay, very good. I’m grateful that you can remember it!” Li Xun pretended to sigh deeply, his face calm, but with the foreshadowing of a surging current.

“Then I will put forward a condition today! If you agree, I will give you the manuscript smoothly. If you don’t agree, I will ask you to go to the sect’s secret library on Zhiguan Peak and search it yourself!”

Qin Wanru uttered a light exclamation, and said in surprise: “Junior brother, you are so generous. Tell me the conditions. If they are reasonable, there is no reason for me to refuse.”

Li Xun brought the three pages of manuscript back in front of him, flicked them lightly, and said with a smile: “It is actually very simple. If you have any instructions in the future, I will be happy to help. It is just an ordinary matter, but it is better to avoid such things that involve gambling with your life and property!

” “Even if you do it, you should show some sincerity! Not like now, taking it for granted. Do you understand what I mean?”

Qin Wanru’s eyes flashed, and then she laughed and said: “I see, junior brother thinks the profit is too small and he has made a losing deal.

” “Senior sister is pretending to be confused! Well, I will explain it more clearly!”

Li Xun smiled coldly and said: “When senior sister asked me to do something, I agreed.” First, I was in danger, pressed from both inside and outside, and only Senior Sister lent a hand, for which I am grateful; secondly, Senior Sister also has something on me, and I am afraid.

“Furthermore, my position in the sect is not very secure. If something goes wrong, I will be afraid.”

Qin Wanru chuckled and said, “So now, Junior Brother, you are not grateful, afraid, or afraid?”

Li Xun raised his hands to the air and said, “I dare not.” Then he laughed again and said, “With my uncle here, I, as his nephew, naturally dare not do such stupid things.” However, it is strange to say that I have rarely seen my uncle in these sixty years. Senior Sister, is she in good health?

Qin Wanru’s lips showed a hint of mockery. Under Li Xun’s gaze, she opened her red lips and said softly, “It’s rare for Junior Brother to care about Master’s health. Thankfully, Master has been in seclusion for so long and is feeling depressed. He is thinking of going out to relax. I will probably be able to see him soon!”

Li Xun suppressed the laughter in his heart and put on an expression of half-belief, half-doubt, and quite fear.

But these expressions flashed away, and what was left was only a pretended calmness: Uncle Master is in good health, and as a nephew, I am naturally happy. Right, or let’s talk about what happened just now, my conditions, do you agree to them, Senior Sister?

Qin Wanru naturally had no reason to refuse such an empty promise. She smiled and said: Of course!

“Okay!” Li Xun shook his hand lightly and handed the manuscript over. Qin Wanru raised her white hand lightly and picked up the other side. The two of them looked at each other and smiled.

Li Xun let go of his fingers, and Qin Wanru pulled them away gently, but they didn’t move!

At some point, another hand, as white as jade, had grabbed one side of the manuscript, and it looked like there was no intention of letting go.

The two looked up in surprise, and what they saw made them stunned again.

Standing before them was a stunningly beautiful nun, her features exquisite as a painting, and a dignified and noble bearing. Even the ordinary Xuan Ge Taoist robe adorned her with a dazzling presence. The whisk dangling from her arm, along with the long sleeves, swayed gently in the breeze, evoking a celestial air.

Time froze for a few breaths before Li Xun and Qin Wanru exclaimed in unison—

“Master!”

Yin Sanren flicked his whisk, breaking the brief pause of shock.

Her eyes flickered, and with a slight pressure, Qin Wanru quickly released her hand, her beautiful eyes already misty. “Master,”

she began, her voice breaking.

Yin Sanren merely glanced in her direction, then lowered his gaze to the three pages in his hand.

Flipping through the pages, she was captivated by the text. After reading a couple of lines, she shook her head and sighed softly, “This is truly the Yin Fu Jing!” Her

sigh carried a sense of timelessness, a hazy, and endless meaning.

Qin Wanru’s nose tingled again as she hurriedly pulled out a thin volume woven from ice silkworm silk and respectfully presented it to him.

“Master, I have collected all the Yin Fu Jing here. Please review it!”

Yin Sanren, without even looking up, casually took it, saying softly, “Well done! You’ve suffered so much over the years!” Though it was just a simple compliment, Qin Wanru could no longer contain her tears. But she remained standing, demonstrating the strictness of Yin Sanren’s rules.

Li Xun’s face was filled with shock, confusion, and fear. He didn’t dare look at Yin Sanren, but instead cast his already distracted gaze at Qin Wanru, whose tears streamed down her face.

Sensing his gaze, Qin Wanru wiped away her tears and smiled again, a smile filled with both joy and mockery.

Li Xun stiffened and quietly took a small step back. This movement earned him a faint glance from Yin Sanren.

“With a thud,” Li Xun collapsed to the ground, his face a pale, deathly pale.

Seeing his expression, Qin Wanru’s smile faded. In that moment, time seemed to have flown back. The Grand Master, the Junior Master, and Concubine Qin were all together. After a complete cycle, Li Xun was still the weakling.

Yin Sanren glanced at her, then lowered her head to read the complete Yin Fu Jing. She read carefully, starting from the beginning, turning the pages one by one, her expression calm and unhurried.

Her posture was as if this were a study with the fragrance of books and ink, not a wilderness filled with the sounds of hawks and eagles.

No one dared to disturb her. In this atmosphere, the two present even tried to slow their breathing to avoid irritating Yin Sanren.

In this way, Qin Wanru stood and Li Xun sat, and the cautious silence continued.

Li Xun sat on the ground, a look of fear still lingering on his face. In fact, he might have felt a little scared, but not even close to fear.

He was now more filled with wonder and confusion: What was going on with You Er? Didn’t he do it well just now? He maintained an unfathomable posture, tried his best to be close to his memory, and tried his best to avoid eye contact with Qin Wanru. Everything was done almost perfectly, so why did he get stuck at the last step?

He secretly looked at the “Yin Fu Jing” and began to regret not letting You Er review it before giving it to him.

Li Xun was also thinking at this time: Yin Sanren had gone astray and changed his personality drastically because he forced himself to take half of the “Yin Fu Jing”. What changes would this bring?

Worried, he began to use the unique channel of spiritual connection with the Youxuan puppet to investigate the situation.

However, after trying it, he was truly shocked – the spiritual connection with the puppet had been severed!

Generally speaking, there are two independent yet mutually reinforcing channels of communication between a puppet and its controller. One is the circulation channel for vital energy, known in the classics as the Nether Meridian. Li Xun’s Mysterious Shadow Body relies on this channel. The

other is the spiritual connection. Through this connection, he can instantly perceive any changes in the puppet and remotely direct its actions. The classics call it the Nether Meridian.

The Nether Meridian is an intangible yet incredibly real connection, involving hundreds of thousands of complex energy connections. Even with Li Xun’s powerful deductive ability, he often only understands the results, not the reasons. During

his daily practice, he could only recite from the manual and carefully nurture his mind.

But at this moment, the Nether Meridian was severed!

If the Nether Meridian hadn’t remained intact and the Mysterious Shadow Body hadn’t functioned properly, Li Xun would have fled. Even so, the sudden drop from omniscience to complete ignorance still left him feeling so distressed that he almost wanted to vomit blood.

Furthermore, a crucial problem gradually became apparent: time was running out!

Ever since the Tianming Huayin Pearl suffered another severe blow, Li Xun had relied entirely on his own cultivation to prolong the puppet’s existence.

The skill required to extract the Nine Nether Earth Qi, maintain its transmission, and transform it was like walking a tightrope, extremely strenuous. Li Xun truly didn’t know how much longer he could hold out.

The weather wasn’t hot, but beads of sweat were already forming on Li Xun’s forehead, and his complexion was getting worse. If this continued, he might not even have the strength to stand!

Glancing at Qin Wanru, he gritted his teeth and made a decision. If it really didn’t work, he would summon Youyi and have a falling out!

As soon as this thought came to his mind, he was shocked again. Something had happened to the Mingluo as well. Youer’s aura was growing stronger, while the Nine Nether Earth Qi he needed to extract was dwindling.

However, without the supply of Nine Nether Earth Qi, how could the puppet remain in this world?

The terrible thing is that, because the demand for the Nine Netherworld Earth Qi is getting less and less, the Netherworld Meridian seems to be opening and closing, as if it is about to follow the example of the Netherworld Veins and is about to be cut off.

Li Xun has reached the edge of the cliff. He needs to make a decision immediately, and he has made it.

“It is better to fall out with Qin Wanru than to lose You Er. Let’s go for it!”

Li Xun no longer hesitated and suddenly cast a spell to take You Er back.

However, what made him heartbroken was that after he pinched the spiritual formula, You Er had no reaction at all!

The energy he sent out was like a stone sinking into the sea, without even an echo! And the induction of the Netherworld Meridian was getting weaker and weaker.

He opened his eyes wide and looked towards You Er. The beautiful puppet was still there, leisurely turning the pages and reading, with slender fingers twisting it lightly, which was also very charming.

At this time, she had just finished flipping through the ice silk page and turned her eyes to the three pages of manuscript. Perhaps she felt the sunlight of Li Xun and cast a glance in her direction.

At that very moment, the Netherworld Meridian was on the verge of severing, and Li Xun saw the dazzling brilliance in those bright eyes, a glint that had vanished for sixty years!

This wasn’t the divine light of peak cultivation, nor was it the radiance of the Nine Netherworld Qi radiating through the pupils. Instead, it stemmed from the very core of life, the most mysterious and unfathomable ghostly light in the universe!

Gazing into those eyes, Li Xun felt as if he had been thrown into a deserted wasteland stretching thousands of miles,

amidst a vast expanse of crimson clouds stretching as far as the eye could see. Every wave of their gaze was like a swirling, dark, murderous aura swirling in the air, surging back and forth. Its surges could freeze a thousand miles, enough to freeze a human soul.

A fear he hadn’t felt in years—pure terror—suddenly descended upon him.

Under the immense pressure, a certain string in Li Xun’s brain vibrated, sending his muscles into a state of intense tension.

Perhaps in the next moment, the strings of his sanity would snap in two.

Yet, he ultimately retained his sanity. After a few breaths, a surge of latent energy stirred within his brain, and a flood of information suddenly flooded back. At that moment, the Nether Veins reopened; but at the same moment, the Nether Meridians severed!

This was an incredible phenomenon. If the rupture of the Nether Veins signified the loss of Li Xun’s dominant power, then the severance of the Nether Meridians was practically equivalent to the Nether Puppet losing its fundamental basis for maintaining its physical form—unless it could already independently absorb the Nine Nether Earth Qi for self-sufficiency.

Soon, the feedback confirmed this, and Li Xun became even more bewildered.

Was this permanent physical form, or a monstrous rebellion?

The drastic change left Li Xun momentarily unable to react. At that moment, You Er had just finished flipping through all the manuscripts, patted the thin volume in his hand, and sighed softly.

“What a pity, you’re so late!”

Upon hearing these words, Li Xun’s eyes lit up.

Simply because, these words that sounded extremely strange in grammar were the secret code that Li Xun and You Er had agreed upon earlier, indicating that from this moment on, You Er would act according to the previous plan.

Holding considerable hope, Li Xun raised his head again and once again saw You Er’s sublimated eyes.

This time, the two of them missed each other in the sunlight, but Li Xun had clearly seen that the gray-white mark was still engraved under You Er’s deep and unfathomable eyes.

He secretly let out a long sigh. Although he was still a little confused, it seemed that the direction of change was developing in his favor.

How come, is God finally beginning to favor him?

After a moment of eye contact, You Er, who can now be called Yin Sanren, no longer looked at Li Xun, but slightly turned his body, waved his whisk lightly, and swept his eyes towards Qin Wanru.

Just this one look made Qin Wanru’s eyes blurred with tears again.

The flaw that Li Xun was most worried about was inexplicably covered up.

Yin Sanren acted like a master who hadn’t seen her beloved disciple in years. However, since they had been in close contact during this time, she couldn’t appear overly anxious. The right timing was crucial.

From Li Xun’s perspective, Yin Sanren executed the gesture perfectly. Without further ado, she simply said, “Wanru, come with me!”

Qin Wanru responded, but her gaze shifted to Li Xun, who had slumped to the ground.

Seeing her gaze shift, Li Xun’s face quickly shifted to a complex mix of fear and confusion, ultimately giving way to a state of bewilderment.

Qin Wanru glanced, seeking guidance on how to deal with the poor creature.

Yin Sanren’s lips curved into a subtle, long-lasting curve. With a single glance, he chuckled, “Why worry? A wise person should know what to do!”

Li Xun’s eyes shifted, a subtle shift that was enough to convey a certain message to Qin Wanru.

As expected, Qin Wanru didn’t doubt it at all, merely offering another triumphant smile before following Yin Sanren.
