Chapter 1 Killing Game

The night falcon weaved through the branches, nimbly darting through the darkness, oblivious to the fact that its unintentional action had caused the two cultivators’ detection energy to shift slightly, setting off a chain reaction.

Within a radius of three to five miles, seven or eight cultivators suddenly realized they were surrounded by a similar presence, and a small panic ensued.

Thousands of energy energies intersected and collided in the darkness, gradually forming their own spheres before returning to calm.

But the impact of this shift triggered another, even more widespread, tremor. Like a poorly executed pantomime, a serious subject now rendered merely comical.

This was how Shui Dielan saw the jungle.

At her level, nothing could escape her perception—except perhaps a formidable figure like Xue Sanren, a master of his generation.

In Shui Dielan’s eyes, Xue Sanren was like a hazy gray mist, blending into the jungle, seemingly within the confines of the situation, yet simultaneously detached from it.

“Whether before or after we take the treasure, I’m sure we won’t be able to get rid of this guy!”

Although she wasn’t afraid, she still felt a headache. And now, that cunning Bai Gui seemed to be testing her patience—how long would it take for this guy to satisfy his lust?

She began to regret agreeing to Bai Gui’s so-called “good idea.”

Bai Gui’s plan, while not entirely brilliant, was certainly reasonable. He planned to have Gu Pin’er pretend to be Xiao Zhongzi nearby, luring the cultivators there. They would then exploit the opportunity and break the seal. Ideally, they could quietly enter the Wuyin Pavilion, seize the treasure and occupy the land—easy and simple.

However, luring the others was easy, but luring Xue Sanren was difficult.

As long as Xue Sanren was still around, even if everyone else was lured thousands of miles away, it would be meaningless.

Because of this variable, Bai Gui had repeatedly delayed the implementation of his plan, and it was now the fifth day.

For the past five days, Bai Gui and his lover had been meeting almost daily. Although Bai Gui insisted they were plotting a plan, this boy was so engrossed in his lover’s devotion that this was his method.

Five precious days had already passed. What did five days mean? That was enough time for people from hundreds of thousands of miles away to migrate to this jungle!

Although no other troublesome individuals had appeared here so far, she could already sense something was amiss—the Bliss Sect, which had arrived five days ago, was lying idle hundreds of miles away. Surely the concubine hadn’t come here to watch the show?

This place was only fifty miles from the ruins of the ancient temple, a place often visited by the spiritual thoughts of cultivators from various sects. Shui Dielan was deeply impressed by their courage to “carry out” in such an environment.

Now, she openly leaped onto a large tree, unafraid of Bai Gui’s presence, and found a better vantage point to observe the scene.

It was clear that Bai Gui’s methods were brutal, and Gu Pin’er was no Xiyin. Moments later, she passed out, only to be mercilessly revived and whipped by Bai Gui.

It wasn’t until Bai Gui raised his head and chanced his gaze met hers that Shui Dielan finally understood his intentions.

She knew this man had found a way to temporarily escape humiliation—using the most despicable of intentions to defame, humiliate, and debase her!

But it didn’t matter.

Over the long years, she had seen the filthiest side of human nature. Though her own nature wasn’t much better, she was certain that a man like him, no matter how gifted, would forever be lost in the whirlwind of lust.

In other words, he posed no threat to her. So, she didn’t care!

As these thoughts passed, Bai Gui shifted his position, lying on the ground. Gu Pin’er, meanwhile, twisted and writhed against him.

Bai Gui’s gaze shifted over Gu Pin’er’s shoulder.

Watching Bai Gui’s gradually losing his composure, Shui Die Lan felt a strange sense of satisfaction. Having such a conceited and intelligent creature at her mercy was perhaps her greatest obsession, besides the vibrant colors of spices. Should

she now consider creating a huge gap, bringing Bai Gui crashing down from his delusions?

Thinking of this, she smiled.

Bai Gui’s eyes were first confused, then stunned, and then…

fear!

Fear?

Shui Die Lan was startled, then awakened, demonstrating her extraordinary reflexes. The moment she sensed something strange, she unleashed her Shadow Reversal Technique with all her might, seemingly freeing herself from the shadow’s attachment and moving sideways in an instant.

Just as she had made room, the pungent scent of blood brushed against her shoulder, striking down like thunder!

Her protective Qi vibrated violently, but that was all.

“Not to me!”

was her second thought.

But now, after she had fully slid sideways, there would have to be a gap before she could reapply her force. Even if that gap was only a ten-thousandth of a second, she was still half a step too late!

Only her gaze, unrestricted, was directed at the seemingly stunned Hundred Ghosts beneath the tree. The creature looked unprepared that the illustrious Blood Wanderer would target him, and now, pinned down by Gu Pin’er, he couldn’t escape.

Shui Dielan’s eyes flashed. “Damn it! Could it be that Wei Bufan knows I don’t understand forbidden techniques, so…”

At this moment, Gu Pin’er let out a scream, and with it, her body was forcibly blasted away from the Hundred Ghosts, flung upward, perfectly positioned between them and the Blood Wanderer.

“Good!” Shui Dielan praised, her true energy finally aligning. She twisted her body and flew towards the Hundred Ghosts.

But her speed was swift, and Xue Sanren’s reaction was even more astonishing. With a single stroke of his massive palm across Gu Pin’er’s back, the delicate body spun, charging towards Shui Die Lan, its speed increasing tenfold!

Shui Die Lan’s eyes darkened, and she dodged, her momentum halting.

She didn’t care about Gu Pin’er’s life, but one look at her flushed skin told her that Xue Sanren had tampered with her. Who knew what would happen if it touched her? With

this delay, she could no longer keep up, and could only watch helplessly as Xue Sanren extended his enormous palm, clawing at Bai Gui’s chest.

At that moment, Bai Gui suddenly raised his palm, glaring, and yelled, “Ugh!”

He looked as if he was ready to fight back desperately. Shui Die Lan cursed inwardly, “You’re reckless,” but she did her best and lunged forward. They were still twenty feet away when their palms collided.

Shui Dielan seemed to have seen the tragic sight of Baigui’s seven orifices splattering with blood. Her eyebrows furrowed, and her body suddenly stopped in mid-air.

But the next moment, she felt that she might be dazzled. Suddenly, a pair of white jade-like palms “penetrated” from Baigui’s palms. The moment Baigui and Xue Sanren’s palms connected, they penetrated between the two palms.

With the spot where the Hundred Ghosts lay at its center, an area of seventy to eighty feet in radius instantly transformed into a swamplike mudflat. All vegetation within the area withered and collapsed.

All this happened silently.

The Hundred Ghosts spat out mouthfuls of blood, but his body quickly melted into the soil below.

On the ground, a strange expression crossed Xue Sanren’s face. Simultaneously, his massive body trembled in mid-air, tumbling again, gaining some distance before coming to a stop.

“Shadow Puppet?” Shui Dielan almost immediately thought of the legendary life-saving magic weapon of the Hundred Ghosts Taoist.

She had previously thought it was an exaggeration, but now it seemed that a puppet capable of withstanding Xue Sanren’s attack was truly a treasure.

The question was, if the Shadow Puppet could withstand Xue Sanren’s attack once, could it withstand a second?

As the thought flashed through her mind, Xue Sanren glanced over and met her gaze. Shui Dielan frowned slightly, flicked her fingers, and a dazzling flash of energy struck directly at the point where Xue Sanren’s dark energy was radiating. Where the two forces collided, earth and rock crackled, and another heavy, muffled explosion filled the air.

Bai Gui screamed, tumbling back from the point of impact, his face bleeding profusely, a horrible sight.

Shui Dielan’s mind had been fixed on Bai Gui, knowing he was using the Earth Escape technique to escape towards her. Seeing him now wasn’t surprising.

However, while the two were within striking distance, Xue Sanren was still pursuing him at a rapid clip!

Bai Gui’s rebellious demeanor had long since vanished. His eyes, a shimmering mixture of joy and fear, shone. He reached out his hand, took a stumbling step, and pleaded for help.

Shui Dielan moved forward, gently grasping Bai Gui’s fingertips with two fingers, and yanked back, ignoring Bai Gui’s cries of pain as his fingertips dislocated. With a twirl of movement, he flung him behind him.

Xue Sanren was still a half-step slower than her, forced to face Shui Dielan’s ultimate, lethal attack head-on.

The two figures separated at the moment of contact, Xue Sanren’s superior strength, Shui Dielan’s mastery in agility. To avoid her sharp knife attack, Xue Sanren retreated a step, while Shui Dielan, seeking to relieve the immense pressure, retreated evenly.

At this moment, her eyes met Xue Sanren’s again.

For some reason, she suddenly felt something was wrong, but how could she reason so quickly? She instinctively increased the intensity of her protective Qi again, but just as it was about to rise,

she felt a sudden chill in her waist. Only then did the hissing sound of the Qi explosions from her clash with Xue Sanren resonate in her ears. It was these explosions and the resulting shockwaves in her vital energy that obscured her consciousness, slowing her reaction even further.

The icy chill entered her waist and spine, slanting upwards, tearing through countless internal organs and orifices before emanating from her ribs.

She lowered her head in surprise, gazing at the dark, brooding blade. It suddenly occurred to her where she had ever seen such a precious sword before.

“Ghost Crow Sword… Hundred Ghosts!”

Suddenly, she understood everything, and with a shrill scream, her wrath uncaring for the ripping of her internal organs, her true Qi exploded.

Hundred Ghosts cried out, then resorted to the same tactics he had used to deal with Yuan Nan the previous day. Crossing his arms in front of his face, he curled his limbs, his body surging with ethereal Yin fire, generating a subtle, dissolving force that could partially block the attack.

However, the waves of energy from Shuidielan’s explosions were so cascading and sharp that he could withstand one or two, but not three or four. After a series of ripping sounds, he collapsed to the ground in a pool of mud, blood splattered all over his body, his life or death uncertain.

Seeing Hundred Ghosts like this, Shuidielan’s anger dissipated slightly. But then, the Blood Sanren in front of her let out a sinister laugh, and his blood-red robe sleeves suddenly intersected, generating a huge suction force that interfered with her burst of true energy.

She swayed, triggering the injuries in her body, and the pain made her face pale.

In her life, she had always made others suffer, but had she ever suffered such pain herself?

The pain made her hate it even more, but she also knew that in her current state, a head-on confrontation with the Blood Sanren would only lead to death. She endured the pain and activated her escape technique, forcibly breaking through the Blood Sanren’s suction and catapulting into the air.

The Blood Sanren chuckled, and taking advantage of the changes in her energy, he stretched his body and pursued her.

The Blood Sanren’s ability in close combat was well known to everyone in the Tongxuan Realm, so Shui Dielan naturally did not dare to let him get close.

She drew a breath, forcibly holding the longsword piercing her body. Simultaneously, she executed a masterful technique, shifting her body over forty times in a split second, effortlessly escaping the grip of Xue Sanren’s ever-following Qi.

However, this was not without cost. In that brief moment, both she and Xue Sanren simultaneously engaged their Qi. Though not engaged in physical contact, they used the void’s vital energy as a medium to influence each other, exerting a powerful interference force and disrupting each other’s Qi and blood circulation. Xue Sanren, despite his

pristine spirit and abundant Qi, was relatively unaffected. However, Shui Dielan had been injured first, and after a round of fighting, her aura was disrupted.

Although she had escaped the restraint, she was unable to gain distance.

Xue Sanren, of course, would not miss this opportunity. With a sweep of his sleeves, a swirl of bloody light seemed to swirl across the dark sky, and the void was filled with the pungent scent of blood. He laughed heartily after his attack, saying, “Water Fairy, stay!”

Amidst the blood mist, Shui Die Lan felt her body stiffen somewhat, yet her speed remained astonishing. With her continuous erratic movements, her absolute speed rose to an incredible level.

She also used this method to accumulate the strength to break through the blood barrier—though given the current situation, the possibility was unlikely.

Blood Sanren had taken absolute control.

He no longer chased Shui Die Lan across the sky as he had initially done. Instead, he stood in the void, like a blood-colored eight-clawed monster. With visible and invisible tentacles, he controlled the flow of vital energy within a radius of several miles, weaving once again a dense, eerie net that enveloped Shui Die Lan.

“Do I really have to… use that move today?”

Shui Die Lan bit her lower lip tightly. As she hesitated, a sharp scream suddenly filled her ears. A thought struck her, and she glanced back in her busyness. Just then, she saw Gu Pin’er, her hair disheveled, kneeling before the Hundred Ghosts, who were breathing heavily and less, looking towards her.

Her bright eyes had turned a blood-red.

The next moment, she grasped the Purple Sun Die Sword and soared through the air!

Shui Die Lan wasn’t surprised, but delighted: “Heaven help me!”

Not far away, Xue San Ren cursed: “You ruinous women!”

With a humming sound, the blood barrier that Xue San Ren had painstakingly woven, like hot water poured over snow, tore a gaping hole. Gu Pin’er paused, then advanced again. Her body and sword merged, a radiant aura streaking across the sky, charging towards Shui Die Lan.

Xue San Ren roared angrily, and the aura in his hand hissed, instantly sealing the gaping hole.

However, Gu Pin’er herself was a deadly source of interference.

Her abundant righteousness was exactly the nemesis of the Blood Demon’s transformation into a heart demon. No matter how capable Xue Sanren was, he could not restore her to her flawless state in a short period of time.

Shui Dielan’s eyes gleamed as she stared intently at Gu Pin’er’s relentless sword thrust. Seeing the sun-like blade’s blazing light approaching her chest, she smiled faintly, her figure seemingly catalyzed by the sword’s radiance, dispersing like a wisp of smoke.

Xue Sanren roared again, his five fingers spread wide, then suddenly contracted, though the rift that had opened would never fully open again. Shui Dielan’s body, like a phantom puff of smoke, escaped from the narrow opening, even glancing back to see Xue Sanren’s expression.

His blood-red eyes met hers, and his fury vanished like a layer of dust, swept away by the breeze. Even a hint of a smile lingered at the corner of his lips.

“I’ve been tricked!”

Shui Dielan’s heart instantly chilled!

Even colder than her own heart was the still-turbulent air outside.

In a split second, she felt as if she had stumbled headfirst into a deep, unfathomable icy cave. A piercing, cold wind howled, freezing everything.

A slender figure caught Shui Dielan’s gaze, her entire body shrouded in a hazy black mist. Yet, her piercing, icy eyes concealed nothing.

Standing directly in Shui Dielan’s path, he extended a hand. Though clad in black, his hand was purer than the unmelted snow on the mountains.

Dazzlingly beautiful against the gloom, it radiated a murderous intent that froze her blood.

“Shadow Puppet? It’s not… Bai Gui, you’re so cruel!” Shui Dielan suddenly realized Bai Gui’s intention of preferring death to using the Shadow Puppet.

In that moment of hesitation, his fingertips were almost touching her vital chest.

In a split second, Shui Dielan made her decision.

Her black gemstone pupils suddenly shifted to a beautiful, eerie icy blue. The wound torn by the longsword burst open once more, surging with energy and blood, sending a cloud of bloody mist through the air. Yet, without slowing down in the slightest, she, with an incredible movement, turned and shot forward.

A slender finger brushed her heart. Though it only touched her clothing, a chill powerful enough to freeze her blood and penetrate her marrow still penetrated her body, instantly coating her skin with a thin layer of frost.

Shui Dielan’s energy and blood flowed backward, and she coughed up blood. But as soon as the blood emanated from her mouth, it solidified into flakes of bloody ice, exuding a chill so intense it penetrated her body.

In a single moment of contact, she knew the person before her was a master, no less powerful than Xue Sanren!

Who was she?

Despite her doubts and the heavy price she had paid, Shui Dielan now saw a vast expanse of possibilities. Ruptured internal organs were nothing, nor was the intrusion of cold. As long as she could survive this, with a few years’ effort, she would be fully recovered. Then, she would teach these people a lesson!

Gritting her teeth and enduring the pain, her speed unexpectedly climbed even higher. The Blood Wanderer and the mysterious black-robed figure pursuing her were already gods, but she had forcibly opened up a gap of seven or eight feet between them in a thousandth of a breath, darting straight into the starry sky.

And then… then she collided with a net, an invisible, colorless, and incredibly flexible net!

This net wasn’t a physical object, but rather a dense interweaving of the abundant primordial energy from all directions, drawn through a complex flow of energy, already stretched across her entire territory.

Unexpectedly, her form paused, and in that moment, amidst the humming vibrations of primordial energy, tens of thousands of surrounding energies shifted positions and transformed—a new net was woven.

Water Die Lan’s momentum was unstoppable, overwhelming everything. However, the surrounding primordial energy, drawn by the mysterious energy, dispersed and gathered, gathered and dispersed, layer upon layer, forming nearly a thousand layers of energy networks that gradually eroded and sapped Water Die Lan’s momentum by a factor of three!

Even Water Die Lan, no matter how ignorant she was of forbidden techniques, understood the astonishing nature of this method.

She finally understood that the turbulence in primordial energy since the beginning of the encounter, if not earth-shattering, should have at least extended for seven or eight miles. Yet, for so long, the cultivators dozens of miles away had remained completely unaware. This must be due to the restriction. This

was probably just another transformation of the restriction.

“But when was this restriction placed?”

In that moment of pause, she felt a pain in her back as another wave of icy energy penetrated her body, nearly freezing her spinal cord.

The pain left her unable to think. She could only risk her life, even at the cost of further aggravating her internal injuries, to unleash her potential. With a series of piercing screams, she broke free from all restraints and soared a hundred feet away.

Though she took another blow to the back, it was worth it!

Before her eyes lay a truly vast expanse of sky and sea!

As Xue Sanren and the mysterious black-robed figure receded, she turned back to see the Hundred Ghosts, previously limp in the forest, staggering to their feet, their gaze filled with disbelief.

Seeing this look, Shui Dielan burst into a delighted laugh. Following her laughter, she sternly shouted, “Wei Bufan, I will not give up on you! Hundred… ugh!”

Before she could utter the word “ghost,” the overwhelming chill trapped within her internal organs, colliding with the cold that had penetrated her later, suddenly erupted again. She spat out a mouthful of blood, this time atomized in the air, hissing and dispersing in smoke.

In that instant, cold and heat alternated, yin and yang reversed. The cold receded, only to be replaced by toxic heat. Her internal organs erupted like a volcano, the toxic heat gushing forth like molten lava.

Unexpectedly, her organs ruptured in this earth-shattering tremor, her vital energy tumbling into chaos, instantly overwhelmed her previously orderly circulation of qi and meridians.

She opened her eyes wide, trying to regain her strength, but it was impossible. A hundred feet away, two powerful enemies were approaching from behind. She didn’t even have time to fall. The Blood Spreader soared above her with the force of a thunderbolt.

She struggled to raise her hands, but the strength was gone. The overwhelming pressure snapped her arm bones with a strange crack.

This wasn’t over yet. The mysterious black-robed figure had silently stalked behind her. His slender fingers swept across, severing over ten vital meridians in her body. He also severely damaged four or five other vital acupoints. His true energy penetrated her bones and marrow, a brutality so horrifying it left her trembling.

She opened her mouth, her throat brimming with blood. As her vision gradually faded, she saw the Blood Sanren sneer coldly. Behind her, she felt the gentle touch of a female body…

She was held in the mysterious black-robed figure’s arms, escaping into the distance.

A female cultivator? Could it be…?

A figure flashed through her mind, and she sighed, finally unable to withstand the bruises, fainting.

Shui Dielan was awakened by a new wave of pain, feeling aching all over her body. The long sword in her abdomen remained unremoved, rubbing against her wounds with every breath.

She took a deep breath, trying to block out the pain with her Qi, but she had no strength left. At this moment, she was probably no more than a mortal.

How could she have ended up like this?

All the images from before she lost consciousness flooded into her mind, circling over and over again, until she realized she had already fallen into a huge trap.

Putting aside the near-perfect deceptive performance, even after the stab from behind, the opponent’s every move was no improvisation, but a meticulously calculated and deduced plan.

From the Blood Wanderer to Gu Pin’er, from Gu Pin’er to the mysterious black robe, to the forbidden spells, and finally, the sudden, fatal, yin-yang transformation—the most astonishing thing about this wasn’t the meticulous calculations that captured her every thought, but the meticulous detail that allowed it to be perfectly executed. From

Gu Pin’er’s “interference,” it was clear the opponent had already laid out a prepared “escape route” for her, and like a fish on the hook, she foolishly ran into it, perfectly on target.

Thinking of this, her heart surged, and she coughed up another mouthful of blood. Her body weakened, and she nearly fainted again.

And then, she felt a gaze fixed on her. In a flash, she spotted the mysterious figure, still shrouded in black robes, beside her. Their eyes met, and the senses she had felt before her coma revived

. She forced a sarcastic smile across her pale face and whispered, “Yin Chonghua, is that you?” Her tentative words met with no response. The mysterious figure in black simply tilted his head slightly and remained silent. Shui Dielan hesitated. The man she remembered wouldn’t behave like this.

The scent and the reflection of light told her that this was a fairly spacious cave. There were countless such places in the Southeast Forest Sea, making it a perfect place to kill and cover up the traces.

She had done this many times before, but being “made love” like this was the first time in her life.

Before she could process the unfamiliar feeling, the light dimmed and two figures entered side by side, blocking out the faint sunlight from outside.

The cave was plunged into complete darkness, but soon, a soft pearly light illuminated every corner. Bai Gui raised a fist-sized pearl and embedded it into the rock wall.

Then, a sinister gaze swept over her, circling impudently.

Shui Dielan narrowed her eyes, observing Bai Gui’s face, which looked strangely pale under the pearly light. It was this little bug, which she had believed she could kill with a single finger, that had deceived her, leading directly to her current state.

She coughed, finally deciding to ignore Bai Gui’s gaze. She simply said to Xue Sanren, “After a hundred years, Demon Wei and Beauty Yin can actually work together so sincerely. Now I realize that the world is vast and full of wonders!”

Xue Sanren and the mysterious black-robed figure remained strangely silent, while Bai Gui chuckled softly.

Shui Dielan was slightly puzzled, wondering how this boy had the audacity to act like this in front of the two wanderers.

And what Bai Gui did next surprised her even more. Right under their noses, Bai Gui approached and touched her cheek, gently caressing it until it reached her eye socket. Then, he suddenly pried her eyelids open.

“Is it really blue?”

Bai Gui asked in confusion, and Shui Dielan cursed “bastard”. Bai Gui didn’t get angry, but smiled and lowered his head, almost touching her face to face. Their noses and mouths met, and she was almost overwhelmed by Bai Gui’s strong smell of blood.

In a hurry, she called out again: “Wei Bufan! Yin Chonghua! You…”

Her voice suddenly cut off because Bai Gui covered her lips with his mouth. With their tongues touching, she naturally couldn’t utter a word. Bai Gui released the hand that was holding her eyelids, but quickly moved this hand to the many sensitive parts of her body.

In this situation, Shui Dielan certainly couldn’t feel any pleasure. She struggled to hold her body up, while keeping her eyes wide open, unable to understand how this could happen.

If there was no one else around, she would just fall into Bai Gui’s hands. She would have been prepared for such a scene. But now, in the cave, were Xue Sanren and Yin Sanren, two arrogant fellows. How could they allow a little bug like Bai Gui to act so presumptuously in front of them?

This question lingered until Bai Gui’s forceful kiss ended, leaving a hint of blood on her enchanting blue lips. Only then did Bai Gui raise his head with satisfaction and turn around to ask, “What kind of magic is this to change the color of your eyes and increase your power?” Seeing

Bai Gui’s carefree demeanor, Shui Dielan’s bright eyes widened even more. There were probably only a handful of people in the world who could speak to the two Sanren like that.

Bai Gui, what right did he have?

And the two Sanren’s response that followed made her heart almost stop.

Xue Sanren shook his head and said, “We haven’t heard of it.”

The black-robed man who was suspected to be Yin Sanren also said, “Some sects’ shape-changing techniques have methods to change the color and expression of the eyes, but none of them increase the power sharply after the eyes change color. However, if this is the original color of her eyes…”

This statement is actually close to the key to the secret of Shui Dielan, but compared with the tone of the two Sanren when they spoke, it is nothing.

With the arrogance of Xue Sanren and the depth of Yin Sanren, how could they use such a tone to talk to a small insect? It’s like, it’s like… With

a “pop” sound, Baigui slapped his fist and praised, “That makes sense. I didn’t expect this.”

He swept his eyes over again. Shui Dielan didn’t know what expression to put on at this time, and could only respond blankly.

Bai Gui glanced back and forth at her face, then said after a long pause, “It looks good this way, why bother hiding it?”

Then, Shui Die Lan felt a pain in her chest, and Bai Gui pinched her again. It was with this pain that a sudden revelation dawned on her. The case that had rocked the world of the Mysterious over sixty years ago flashed through her mind.

Her somewhat distracted gaze swept over Bai Gui, who was now gloating. The scene before her seemed so bizarre and farcical that she almost burst into laughter. A look of realization crossed her face.

Bai Gui’s grim face leaned closer, his eyes blazing with fire, and he forced out the words, “What’s on your mind?”

Shui Die Lan, of course, wouldn’t tell him. She simply turned away, speechless.

Bai Gui laughed proudly and ripped off her outer robe, revealing skin torn by her brutal hands. On her chest alone, there were more than a dozen wounds, each half a foot long and deep enough to see the bone. Though scabbed over, blood still oozed faintly.

As he tore off the robe, many of the wounds reopened. Bai Gui didn’t even frown, simply chuckling, “Don’t tell me, that’s easy! You’ll definitely beg me to tell you later!”

His tone, combined with the memories of his recent treatment of Xiyin, sent a chill down Shui Die Lan’s spine, no matter how resilient she was.

The next moment, Bai Gui attacked, ripping off a large section of her skirt, revealing her slender legs, clad in star-blue gauze trousers. His intentions were clear.

Shui Die Lan’s lips trembled as she tried to push him away, but her broken arms proved ineffective, inflicting only a wave of excruciating pain.

Bai Gui easily pushed her hand away, and one of his hands was already on her chest. Just as he was about to tear it off, Shui Dielan let out a sharp scream, and then…

fainted.
