Chapter 3: Life and Death

When Xing’er saw Li Xun appear in the house covered in blood, her first reaction was to scream. But as soon as the cry left her mouth, she was slapped back by him!

“Shut up!”

Perhaps it was because of the pride in her chest. Although his body may not be comparable to that of an adult man, standing there, even in a disheveled state, he still had the aura to intimidate the little girl.

“Bullying a child, what kind of ability is that!”

Concubine Qin had not yet gone to bed. Over an hour ago, she had just spent half the night with Li Xun and fell asleep exhausted, but now she was awake for some reason.

She was disheveled, wearing only a middle-length shirt and the same snow-white mink fur coat that Li Xun had worn when they first met. Her voice was still soft, and it seemed that Li Xun’s appearance had not changed her at all.

Li Xun found her attitude odd, but he didn’t have time to dwell on it. He simply said, “Come with me!”

Concubine Qin glanced at him, then took a step forward, extending her slender hand to help him.

Could it be that in Concubine Qin’s eyes, he was already this weak?

Without a second thought, Li Xun slapped Concubine Qin’s outstretched hand away, forced himself to take a deep breath, and maintained his balance as he entered the inner room. Concubine

Qin said nothing more, simply following silently behind him, following his every step. Li Xun rarely saw such obedient behavior.

Normally, although Concubine Qin was powerless to resist his evil deeds, she always felt a certain disgust, let alone a kind face. This reaction surprised Li Xun.

Had she changed her temper today? Or was she frightened by the blood on his body?

With this thought in mind, he took a deep breath, walked into the inner room, sat on the stool beside the bed, and placed the two deadly items on the dressing table to the side. Concubine Qin stood quietly before him, her head lowered, her expression still gentle.

Xing’er tremblingly brought in a cup of tea. Concubine Qin took it and personally presented it to Li Xun.

Li Xun looked up at her, nodded slightly, and reached out to take it. He heard a clattering sound, and the lid of the teacup clashed against the body of the cup several times, drawing the attention of the two women.

Li Xun gritted his teeth, forcing the trembling in his hands to stop. He raised the teacup to his lips and drank it all in one gulp, not caring about the temperature. The scalding water rushed directly into his chest and abdomen, and the steaming heat brought some energy, making him feel better.

“Bang!”

He threw the teacup to the ground, shattering it into pieces. Xing’er was so frightened that she immediately knelt on the ground, not daring to raise her head. Concubine Qin’s body trembled noticeably, but quickly regained her composure.

Li Xun observed both of their reactions and came to a conclusion. He had no anger in his heart; this was just a test.

Concubine Qin’s reaction was indeed unusual, but she still had a fear in her heart. If she could remain calm even in the face of a catastrophe, then Li Xun would really have to consider her true colors!

After the cup fell, his mind became clearer and his mood became much calmer. He looked at Concubine Qin again, raised his chin, and pointed at the bed: “Go up and undress!”

As soon as he said this, the two women looked at him together. Although they didn’t say anything, the meaning was already clear – with this appearance, is there any other way?

Li Xun didn’t need to answer their questions. His eyes suddenly became very sharp. Under such a look, Concubine Qin obviously couldn’t refuse. She bit her lower lip slightly, and finally, with Xing’er’s help, she took off her cloak and undershirt, revealing a large area of snow-white skin, and lay obediently on the bed.

Although Concubine Qin was determined, and although they had already had an i*imate sexual relationship, in such matters, a girl’s shyness always prevailed.

She curled up her body slightly, and tried to turn sideways, using the little clothing on her body to block Li Xun’s gaze. Little did she know that it was this action that made every inch of her skin beautiful, showing in front of Li Xun in the most seductive posture.

Even though Li Xun was worried about something at the moment, he couldn’t help but feel a fire in his heart.

Xing’er put away the clothes, and timidly came over to help Li Xun undress, but was pushed away by him. The little palace maid realized that she had nothing to do, and hurriedly bowed, turned around to pick up the broken cups on the ground, and then hurried out.

Li Xun stood in front of the bed, looking down at Concubine Qin’s charming body. He had never appreciated a beauty in this way before – no physical contact, but with a domineering power, no need for physical contact, but in his heart, he had locked the other person firmly, and life and death depended on his heart.

He suddenly felt very absurd!

Just moments ago, he’d barely escaped the clutches of the Tianxingjian Sect like a lost dog, but in the blink of an eye, he’d transformed himself into the master of this peerless beauty!

Nothing could be more extraordinary than this.

But even more palpable was the gradual growth of a sense of weakness and embarrassment within him.

He wasn’t a powerful being after all!

Therefore, he could only flaunt his strength and authority in a small world like the “Lanxuyuan,” before a weak woman like Qin Fei. Outside of this place, or more precisely, outside of this ant-like community of mortals, in the presence of higher beings, he was still nothing!

Yin Sanren and Xue Sanren were certainly capable of ruling his life and death, but what about the “senior brother” from the Tianxingjian Sect he’d just met?

Whatever he was doing now, who in the Tongxuan Realm couldn’t do better?

He didn’t take off his clothes. He simply leaned down and reached out to grab Qin Fei’s shoulders. Feeling the soft and smooth touch, and seeing Qin Fei’s expression that seemed to be both shy and happy, his heart skipped a beat: “She’s not stupid…”

This sudden thought swept through his mind like a hurricane, blowing away the little fog that had just been brought up.

She was obedient? Submission should be considered smart!

Qin Fei had seen through him!

She saw through Li Xun’s vanity and weakness, knowing that he must have suffered a great loss at the hands of a powerful person and needed to use his authority to change his image and save face!

That’s why she was so obedient! Because she knew very well that only by satisfying his vanity, only by covering up his deep weakness, only by rebuilding his image and repainting his face, could she have a good life!

Quietly satisfying a man’s needs to protect her own life, this was Qin Fei’s wisdom!

And this wisdom was based on seeing through people’s hearts and understanding the world.

In other words, in the eyes of Concubine Qin, all of Li Xun’s actions and behaviors were nothing more than a ridiculous clown farce! He was performing a self-indulgent performance full of flaws on the stage, which made the audience applaud and cheer while laughing at him in their hearts.

Li Xun had never felt this way before, and he felt that he understood people’s hearts.

Look, look! That expression that seemed to be both shy and happy, the movements that were both welcoming and rejecting, the delicate and moving body, isn’t this the strongest and most profound irony revealed in this spring-like scene?

“Ah!”

Concubine Qin cried out in a low voice, she felt that her shoulders were almost torn apart by Li Xun!

She opened her eyes, looking over with a frightened, vulnerable expression; Li Xun, in turn, met his gaze with a most peculiar one.

Blood-red, its entire eye sockets a single hue, its inner rims swirling with blood-red waves. Yet, at the pupils, a reef of the same, even darker, color stood unmoved amidst the surging waves.

To be met with such a gaze was like being pierced by a poisonous sting. Concubine Qin let out a short cry of shock, her body tensing before slowly softening. Her body tilted slightly, and she fainted.

Li Xun’s mouth opened slightly, letting a chill escape from it. His crimson mouth and snow-white teeth mingled slightly, creating a look of something eerie and ferocious.

He paused, then thrust himself inside Concubine Qin.

Even in unconsciousness, the allure of a beautiful woman was enough to arouse a man’s desire.

Li Xun was no exception; his body and soul were ablaze with lust, and the physical contact only heightened that desire.

However, in the deepest part of his soul, perhaps in a corner that his consciousness could not truly sense, a bit of frost was slowly expanding, like a piece of broken ice in the rolling magma, giving an incredible feeling.

This bit of frost could perhaps be called “rationality”. It was looking at this strange yet familiar world indifferently. When it finally found the purest point in this world, it suddenly “inspired” and with an indescribable high speed, it expanded to every corner of Li Xun’s body and mind.

Li Xun’s heart suddenly expanded violently, almost filling up the entire chest cavity, and the next moment it suddenly contracted back, until it reached an unimaginable “singularity”. In this expansion and contraction, Li Xun’s heart became completely different.

Li Xun spurted out a mouthful of blood, the color was brighter than the rosy glow in the sky, and the bloodstains fell on Qin Fei’s snow-white body, which was shocking.

The corners of Li Xun’s lips continued to crack until a strange arc was formed. At this moment, he leaned down, ignoring the blood spots on Qin Fei’s body, and hugged her body tightly. In the i*imate contact without any gaps, the true energy in his body turned into an invisible and intangible mist, which seeped into Qin Fei’s body.

Qin Fei Her beautiful eyes suddenly opened, her pretty face was twisted by the sudden pain, she let out a long scream, and then began to spasm violently.

Her inner world, in this double peak of pleasure and pain, showed a tiny gap to Li Xun.

Li Xun’s eyeballs began to move slowly, not the pupils moving in the eye sockets, but the pupils themselves rotating completely against the limits of the human body!

What caught his eyes was not an ordinary scene, but the most instinctive and primitive fluctuations in Qin Fei’s heart.

The weird blood-red eyes made him look like a devil, using his bloody hands to violently tear open the gap in the soul to explore the deepest secrets inside.

Pain, lust, fear, sorrow, enlightenment, coldness, mockery, even a hint of masochistic pleasure, and the vague projection hidden deeper, were all peeled off layer by layer, and then exposed nakedly.

This is a gorgeous flower . The dense petals of the flower formed a layer of fine and delicate barrier, which peeled off layer by layer and bloomed with the arrival of the “season”.

It was from this moment that Li Xun understood one thing – reading a woman’s heart is like reading a thick book, with a tangled thread, layered emotional fragments, and a mood that is inconsistent and has no pattern to follow. All these conditions combined together form a woman’s heart that is always impossible to understand.

He wanted to peel off all the petals and get to the “pearl” within. However, he couldn’t hold on until halfway. As his energy faded, his mind began to haze. Finally, everything in front of him was shrouded in a thick mist, and he had to close his eyes, declaring the failure of this attack.

After a long time, Li Xun opened his eyes. Now he finally understood that he had not yet truly conquered Concubine Qin’s body and mind.

Even though she was such a fragile woman who could almost fall down with the wind.

This realization left him feeling depressed, but he quickly forced himself to cheer up.

Conquest doesn’t necessarily require complete victory… Couldn’t this be considered conquest?

He gently caressed Qin Fei’s jade-like body, his mind overflowing with magical formulas. A smile curled up at the corners of his mouth. The creation of man and woman aligns perfectly with the yin and yang of heaven and earth. Sexual intercourse is also the ultimate path of reproduction and transformation. There are gains and losses, and the yin and yang complement each other, aligning with the fundamental principles of the flow of the heavens.

However, some methods, rooted in the principles of intercourse, defy the laws of nature. They first establish themselves as invincible, then use various means to force the opponent to lose vital essence and energy during periods of sexual climax, absorbing it into their bodies for their own use.

These methods are naturally effective in increasing cultivation; the more people they harm, the deeper their power grows. However, the resulting problems, such as impure true energy and conflicting vital essences, are also very frustrating.

But this is the fairness of nature.

The “Six Imperial Yin and Yang Transformations” also include the method of collecting and replenishing energy. On the surface, like other methods, it only takes in, never gives out, harming others for one’s own benefit. However, this method doesn’t simply drain the opponent

‘s vital energy. Instead, through various subtle transformations of yin and yang, it transforms the target into a true “cauldron”! A cauldron is a means of burning and extracting essence. The target’s body serves as the “container,” and the caster’s true breath is the “fire.”

By manipulating the six qi of Feng Ming, the caster directs the highly concentrated celestial energy into the “cauldron,” efficiently absorbing it through special means.

This method uses the target as an “amplifier,” allowing the same celestial energy to be absorbed ten or twenty times more than normal.

Furthermore, because it has already undergone a considerable degree of “refining” within the target’s body, problems such as impure true breath and conflicts of essence are less apparent.

Who could resist such a temptation?

Li Xun, at least, couldn’t!

After following the instructions of the method and completely controlling Concubine Qin’s body, he sequentially introduced the six qi, corresponding to the semen within her body, as a natural process of the heavenly order.

At the same time, he used various techniques to tease Concubine Qin to the point of near death. Her spirit, energy, and spirit seemed to leave her body, then merge into one, a true “great medicine” that Li Xun readily accepted.

Concubine Qin screamed again, feelings of weakness, pain, and lust all bursting out at once. The powerful impact caused her to faint again.

Li Xun felt refreshed, his injuries seemingly vanishing. He felt the surprisingly vibrant energy within him, and he wanted to roar to the heavens and release his feelings.

He stood up to sort out his clothes, but surprisingly, he felt no compassion for her.

“You’re unlucky!”

He patted Concubine Qin’s raised buttocks and smiled. Then, his mind returned to the two objects, and he turned to look.

As he turned his gaze, a figure flashed by from the corner of his eye. So fast!

Instinctively, without thinking, he counterattacked with his palm, but the blow missed. With a start, he spun, squinting, and zeroed in on the two objects on the table. He pounced.

Anything can happen, and these two things are absolutely indispensable!

A faint, low laugh echoed in his ears, and in that instant, the air around him suddenly froze, as if instantly turning to solid ice. Li Xun, with immense momentum, charged forward, slamming into the opponent. He groaned, his body, which had only just begun to recover, now bruised again.

That wasn’t enough. As he paused, a cold hand pressed against his back, exerting a subtle force.

With a crash, Li Xun was thrown like a heavy stone against the table in front of him. While still in mid-air, he felt a sharp, needle-like aura penetrate him, piercing his defenses like tearing a piece of thin paper!

The aura pierced his heart with such speed that he barely had time to react!

With a dull thud, a cloud of blood erupted from Li Xun’s chest, crushing the table in front of him to pieces. The moment he collided with the table, two objects on it vanished simultaneously.

Li Xun’s soul seemed to float out of his body. Death had never been so close to him as it was now—even under the demonic phoenix’s pressure, the breath of death had only lingered on his skin. Unlike this time, it had violently ripped his soul from his body!

“Is this… death?”

What a strange feeling! Just a moment ago, his body was surging with vitality, but now, nothingness was all he could feel. In this drastic shift, he seemed to sense something strange.

If you suddenly tip a glass of water over, it will naturally spill. This glass of water could be said to be his life, but what Li Xun sensed was the “force” that caused it to spill!

It was a subtle “qi.”

In an instant, Li Xun imprinted the characteristics of this “qi” deep into his soul.

“Move, still, the Tao is never lost; it is a cycle; live, die, the Tao is endless; it is repetitive.”

These incantations were like falling drops of water, echoing in his empty mind. Bit by bit, the lingering vitality rose in this self-generated rhythm, gradually filling his body.

The beating of his heart sounded again, quiet and powerful, as if the needle-like true breath just now was just a ridiculous illusion.

Li Xun’s mind returned from the void, but he was still a little dazed. The scene just now seemed like a dream, utterly unreal.

Still in disbelief, he touched his chest, but his hands were covered in blood. His shirt was indeed torn, and a closer touch revealed a pinprick-sized hole in his chest muscle, clearly the source of the bleeding.

What… was going on?

Just when he was still puzzled, a low voice of praise rang out in his ears: “Good!”

This voice was so familiar that Li Xun’s heart skipped a beat and he cried out: “Uncle Master!”

He hurriedly got up and looked back, only to see Yin Sanren sitting by the bed, playing with the bottle and the iron sheet in his hands, his eyes fixed on him. His eyes seemed to be smiling but not smiling, yet they were also very moving.

Li Xun’s heart was moved and he woke up immediately, secretly cursing himself for being possessed by a s*x demon. Not daring to neglect, he hurried forward and saluted: “Uncle Master, how are you…”

Yin Sanren weighed the two items, his face radiating a gentle light: “You did a good job! You were able to escape from the siege of five third-generation disciples of Tianxing Jianzong and keep these two items. Tell me, how should I reward you?”

Li Xun kept saying he dared not. At this moment, he was filled with questions. Seeing that Yin Sanren seemed in a good mood, he boldly asked, “Uncle-shi, that person back there…”

“Yes, it was me!” Yin Sanren knew what he was asking and admitted frankly, “I was testing your cultivation from behind.”

Li Xun’s eyes widened at that. Could that even be called a test?

Yin Sanren’s unfathomable gaze penetrated his own. “If Wei Bufan were here, he’d be astonished at your progress! Judging by your appearance, the Blood Nightmare has already absorbed your mind, right? That’s why you can dissolve into blood mist when confronted by external forces, blocking a fatal blow. Think about it, how long has it been since he taught you the Blood Godson?”

Seeing the indescribable look in Yin Sanren’s eyes, Li Xun’s heart was filled with alarm.

Although he didn’t know what was going on, he understood that just recently, around the time of the gathering and replenishing energy, some very subtle and interesting changes had occurred within him.

To him, this wasn’t bad news at all. However, he could sense that Yin Sanren was being ambiguous about this change.

With this realization, Li Xun became extremely cautious. He only vaguely brushed aside the facts that had already occurred. In truth, he truly didn’t understand how he had refined the Blood Nightmare.

Yin Sanren’s eyes were sharp. She understood Li Xun’s situation, but her words were merely a remark. Seeing Li Xun’s bewilderment, she stopped probing and instead asked about his battle with the Tianxing Jian Sect and their followers.

Li Xun’s heart trembled again.

It suddenly occurred to him that he had used techniques from the Netherworld Record in the tunnel, a fact best understood by his “senior brother”—hadn’t he even called out “Bi Yin Palm”?

When had Yin Sanren returned? How much did she know about this matter?

Li Xun feigned composure, but his mind was spinning like a whirlwind, trying to cover up the Netherworld Record with a lie.

However, time was running out, and especially under Yin Sanren’s watchful eye, distracting himself was a difficult task. He gritted his teeth, speaking only in faint, unspoken sentences: “Disciple, having heard the warning, rushed over…”

He began his story from the beginning, but concealed the fact that he had used the Dark Fire during the battle with the unknown cultivator, saying only that he had been killed by a surprise attack.

This was just a small lie. By the time he got to the crucial part of the battle with the “senior brother” from the Tianxing Jian Sect, he knew that if he didn’t show more courage, he wouldn’t be able to pass this hurdle!

With a determined heart, he finally told a huge lie: “To be honest, I didn’t fight with the people from Tianxing Jianzong at that time, and I didn’t even know who the person who fought with Tianxing Jianzong was…”

Yin Sanren looked at him coldly: “Then how do you know those people are from Tianxing Jianzong?”

“It was Haoran Qi that hurt me!”

Yin Sanren smiled, with a cold light flashing in his eyes: “You just said that you didn’t fight with the people from Tianxing Jianzong!”

Li Xun opened his eyes wide and said in a rare loud voice: “I really didn’t fight with them!”

He suddenly realized that his tone was a bit too much, and quickly changed it to a lower voice: “I was wondering too. I was clinging to the top of the small hall, ready to launch a sneak attack, but suddenly a person jumped out and slapped that ‘senior brother’.

“I wanted to take advantage of the chaos to escape, so I got behind that person. But just as I entered the corridor, I heard two people behind me clashing with their palms. The senior brother even shouted ‘Bi Yin Palm!’ Immediately afterwards, a palm force came towards me. I blocked it hastily, but the force was too great. I was overwhelmed and was injured!”

He blinked, a look of confusion on his face. “But, I just can’t understand. That guy who suddenly appeared clearly stood behind me and blocked the palm force, so why did I still get injured?”

Yin Sanren stared at him, his gaze sharp as a knife, seemingly piercing Li Xun’s heart. Li Xun feigned bewilderment, tinged with a natural fear. This was the best he could do.

After a moment, Yin Sanren smiled and nodded. “So, it’s the Soul-Attaching Incantation, right?”

Yin Sanren, now “understanding” the whole story, explained, “The Ghostly Shadow Devouring Sect’s Soul-Attaching Incantation is responsible for this effect. You also have residual Ghostly Yin Fire within you. That person’s cultivation must be low, so they couldn’t fully transfer their palm power to you. Consider yourself lucky to be alive now!”

Yes, truly lucky! Besides the Ghostly Shadow Devouring Sect, who else in the world understood the techniques of the Netherworld Record better than he did? He was applying what he had learned, and the results were quite good.

He naturally wanted to show a look of realization, but inwardly, he was deeply frightened by Yin Sanren’s unintentional words! It turned out that Yin Sanren had already sensed the Yin-Ming Fire within him! It must have been because he was severely injured and hadn’t yet fully mastered the Soul Reincarnation Technique!

Clearly, Yin Sanren had become suspicious, hence his questioning. Fortunately, he’d impulsively lied, otherwise, he’d likely have been

apprehended by the Eight Secrets of the Lotus!

Wiping another cold sweat from his forehead, he was clearly visibly nervous. However, he had to applaud himself for successfully telling Yin Sanren a lie! God knows how difficult that was! A

mixture of nervousness and excitement blended, a feeling that was difficult to suppress. To deflect his agitation, he inquired about the five members of the Tianxing Jian Sect.

Yin Sanren explained that the five were affiliated with a sect and weren’t thieves. Not wanting to cause trouble, she simply pretended to be ignorant and let them go.

“Let them go?”

Li Xun was truly stunned. This wasn’t Yin Sanren’s style. Was she afraid of the Tianxing Jian Sect?

He looked at Yin Sanren, only to see her gaze fixed on him. In that moment, it was truly penetrating. Then, she stood up, a faintly mocking smile on her face.

Yin Sanren still didn’t reveal the real reason for releasing the man, and Li Xun didn’t dare to question. He lowered his head, only to see Yin Sanren flick her whisk. The thin thread of silk passed before his eyes, a metallic gleam reflecting off it.

Li Xun’s heart trembled.

Never before had he realized so clearly that this beautiful nun, so often so graceful and amiable, was one of the most powerful beings in the world.

Feared, so to speak, by the vast world!

Li Xun lowered his head still further, and in that moment, he suddenly realized that he actually had some positive feelings towards Yin Sanren.

For example… envy.

When would he be able to look upon the world with the same pure condescension as Yin Sanren?

Li Xun looked forward to that day.

Strangely enough, even with such a sudden change of mind, it was possible that Yin Sanren had let those juniors go.

She was a demonic figure, but she was also a master. Even though she was cunning, calculating, and sometimes capricious, doing many things that were outrageous, she still had a certain pride in her heart.

This pride wouldn’t allow her to attack these juniors without provocation!

Of course, she wouldn’t tell Li Xun this reason.

Besides figuring this out, Li Xun also considered that if these five were killed, the Tianxing Jian Sect would never let it go. If they were provoked to come and kill him, Yin Sanren could just walk away, but he, Li Xun, didn’t have that ability!

Thinking about it that way, it was a good idea to let them go!

He just turned around and saw Yin Sanren turning his head to look at the sleeping Concubine Qin on the bed. Without her having to make any expression, Li Xun’s face flushed.

Of course, Yin Sanren wouldn’t scold him for this; she simply observed Concubine Qin’s n*ked body with interest.

Yin Sanren said, “I never thought you would be interested in this kind of technique. This technique is too overbearing. At this rate, I don’t think she will last more than ten times!”

Yin Sanren retracted his whisk, smiled slightly, and glanced at Li Xun: “You don’t seem to be gentle with women… How about we have a sparring match someday?”

It was unclear how much seriousness and how much teasing were in these light words. But it still succeeded in turning Li Xun’s originally rosy face pale. Then, he smiled bitterly: “Uncle Master, spare me!”

As soon as he said this, his heart moved again. It seemed that the relationship between him and Yin Sanren was also different!

If it were before, he would never dare to say these slightly humorous and sarcastic words, but now, he blurted them out without a single hesitation!

More importantly…

he stole a glance over and saw the peerless devil, whose beauty was no less than that of the n*ked beauty on the bed. There was no anger on his face. He just stretched out his hand and slid it slowly down the smooth curve of Qin Fei’s legs. The sound of moaning rang out in the room.

She no longer looked over here.

Li Xun suddenly understood what she meant. He didn’t know what poured into his mouth. The taste was sour and astringent, very unbearable!

He suddenly remembered a sentence. He forgot who told him, but at this moment, the vulgar sentence was so appropriate!

“How do men make friends? It’s just to wear the same pants and sleep with the same woman.”

Although Yin Sanren is not a man, she has that kind of thing in her bones!

Li Xun’s head was buzzing, but his face was calm without any change. He stopped talking, just saluted Yin Sanren, and turned to leave the room.

At this time, Xing’er was serving in the outer room. When she saw him come out, she was about to kneel down to pay her respects, but suddenly Concubine Qin in the room let out a long scream, with a sobbing tone in her voice.

Xing’er opened her eyes wide, and then the look in her eyes when she looked at Li Xun was completely different.

Li Xun pursed his lips and unconsciously quickened his pace. In the blink of an eye, he was out of the “Lanxu Courtyard”. The high and low, soft and delicate sounds inside were getting farther and farther away, but becoming clearer and clearer. Li Xun’s eyes gradually turned blood red again at the sound.

“What the hell is this! What the hell is this!”

The sharp cries echoed back and forth in his mind, and Li Xun’s pace became faster and faster.

He really didn’t feel pity for Concubine Qin, he just felt humiliated and disgusted! Such a feeling burst out from his heart and poured into his blood, like drops of dark venom, making his blood boil!

Then, he swung his hand back fiercely and hit himself in the face.

“Bang!”

A nosebleed began to flow, the raging blood rushing to his head finally finding a way out. The strange pigment in his eyes began to slowly settle.

After a long pause, he chuckled softly, “What’s the big deal? It’s hers to begin with… She’s a woman, too!”

The hoarse voice echoed in the night, like a black bat flapping its wings in eerie, mysterious circles.

In the darkness, a cold wind rustled past.
