Part 2 Episode 19 The Dust Settles Chapter 1 The Tribulation

High in the sky, Qingming was reaching his limit.

Qingming had only ascended to the True One realm after forty-nine tribulations. In terms of profound cultivation,

he was far inferior to Li Douliang. Facing inhuman pressure, his ability to hold out for less than half a quarter of an hour was a remarkable feat. By then, any slight increase or decrease in strength would cause a massive oscillation in Qingming’s sword screen. He had become completely enmeshed in the rhythm of the ancient sound, making escape extremely difficult.

Because of this, he was extremely sensitive to the expansion and contraction of the fireball.

With another wave of sword energy, the intense pressure before the green smoke barrier suddenly diminished at an extremely rapid rate. Qingming instinctively stopped radiating sword energy, but the shifting pressure was too much to resist, and he choked on blood, inevitably injuring his internal organs.

All light quickly dimmed, leaving the void empty, yet the temperature soared another level. Looking ahead, he saw the massive fireball steadily, resolutely, and dramatically contracting inward.

The massive fireball’s occasional backswings were subtle, yet radiated intense heat capable of searing flesh and skin.

The tail of flame emanating from the fireball’s surface seemed controlled by some kind of suction, twisting and curling around the outermost layer. With occasional lashes, the flames seemed to fade, a faint green hue.

“She’s concentrated to the extreme. What will she do next?”

It felt like the worst-case scenario unfolded before Qingming’s eyes. Even with his cultivation, he was momentarily bewildered. He glanced back at Luo Qichang and the others, hoping for a clue.

But what good ideas could anyone offer?

The whistling of the sword energy ceased completely, leaving only the rumbling roar of the fireball’s slow rotation in the sky. This was the result of countless flames clashing within, the explosion of vital energy, and countless other similar sounds. An

invisible shockwave rolled through the masters’ hearts, gradually wearing away their resolve.

“Clang!”

The Xinzhao magic sword uttered a clear cry as it sheathed. Qingming, in his own way, blocked this wave of soul-destroying sonic destruction. Of course

, there were differences in courage among the cultivators in this world, but no one who had reached the True One Realm was a coward!

Without the corresponding enlightenment, how could one have reached their current level?

Bancheng Jushi moved to Luo Qichang’s side, gazing at Qingming, who stood alone in the void ahead, and smiled, “I’ve experienced tribulations over ten times, but this one was unique.”

Luo Qichang turned to look at his old friend, with whom he had known each other for over a thousand years, and smiled back, “It’s indeed more interesting than the forty-nine tribulations, and it was done more efficiently and effectively.”

Ultimately, his words lamented his own lack of preparation.

Mr. Bancheng’s smile faded, and he said seriously: “The calamity has arrived, brother. With a sword in hand, why worry about not being able to break the calamity and succeed, and verify a thousand years of practice?”

“Of course.” The Sword Emperor of the time raised his thick eyebrows, and his usual arrogance and grace appeared in his words, “Brother Hu, watch me break the calamity!”

At this moment, from the core of the fireball, Gu Yin’s gentle and graceful voice came out: “The heavenly merit is over, and all the merits and evils are in my hands. Gu Yin is not talented, but I am willing to turn myself into a merit barrier, and prove the good and evil of the heavenly way with fellow Taoists from various sects, and also watch the magnificent scenery of the changes in the world and the shifting of rivers and mountains.”

Every word in the words was clear, like beads rolling on a jade plate. Several Zhenyi masters around him heard it clearly, but Gu Yin was not talking to only them. The rest of his voice curled up and turned into the void, vaguely appearing and disappearing, spreading in all directions.

Listening more closely, a whisper, as soft as a mosquito’s, filled the ears. No one could discern the inner twists and turns, yet the voice pierced through clearly, reaching deep into the heart. Even the Grandmasters’ fortified mental defenses couldn’t stop it.

“The faint voice of heaven and earth… could this ancient voice truly be a celestial being residing in the world, a golden immortal descending to the earth?”

The beings high in the sky naturally understood. As the ancient voice began to speak, all vital energy in heaven and earth, whether floating freely within the confines of heaven and earth or hidden deep within trees, soil, water, and even within human bodies, responded faintly.

The responses might be minute, but when combined on a massive scale, they were enough to cause the very world to change color. This is the origin of the so-called “the faint voice of heaven and earth.”

Such supernatural powers are rare in this world, typically only manifested by those of great cultivation during their broad daylight ascension, the most recent being Zhong Yin’s time.

Thinking of the figure standing before them, a being like Zhong Yin, how could the cultivators not sigh in awe?

However, Gu Yin’s purpose for this magical power wasn’t simply a demonstration.

Even as the sound lingered, someone in the distant, distant realm of heaven and earth erupted in laughter. The sound surged with immense force, like a hurricane sweeping across the sky, or a mighty wave crashing across the ocean. While its power might not rival the profound power of “The Whisper of Heaven and Earth,” its sheer force was enough to rival Gu Yin’s.

It was the old demon Kunpeng!

It was rare for this demon to rise above the odds, daring to reappear.

Some in the sky thought so, but others saw more deeply: Kunpeng had long been hiding nearby, perhaps hoping to reap the spoils?

Or had Gu Yin’s words, the Whisper of Heaven and Earth, revealed all the fluctuations of vital energy within a thousand miles, only to reveal him?

Regardless, given the current situation, Kunpeng was undoubtedly on the side of the cultivators of the various sects. At the very least, he wouldn’t be a drag. The Grandmasters remained unfazed.

Before his laughter faded, the massive form of the old demon Kunpeng approached. Having long been lurking nearby, he had a keen eye for the situation. He burst into laughter again. “Gu Yin, you are truly a genius! Are you planning to exterminate us all here?”

His words hinted at both sarcasm and weakness, yet his aura remained unyielding. He clearly demonstrated his shared hatred for the enemy, solidifying his own alignment.

Before Gu Yin could respond, another figure darted towards him. Smaller than Kunpeng, but equally imposing and proud, it was Li Douliang, the very figure Gu Yin had just severely wounded.

This righteous master’s face was pale, but the radiance in his eyes remained undimmed. It was unknown what method he had employed, but no one here could discern the full extent of his injuries. They knew only that he would fight again.

“Can the combined efforts of seven men overcome this calamity?”

This thought crossed the minds of many present.

At this moment, the old demon Kunpeng laughed again: “I came from the East China Sea, only to see that once-prosperous situation shattered. Without the power of the Heavenly Tribulation, and without you at the helm, a hundred thousand independent cultivators are like a hundred thousand pigs and dogs, at the mercy of others, scattered in the blink of an eye…”

With these words, the cultivators who were concerned about the sect felt relieved.

But then, another shift occurred in the sky. The massive fireball surrounding Gu Yin made a hollow sound, and then its outer layer split apart. Millions of flames converged into six enormous petals forged from flame, which slowly opened.

As one petal folded, another arose, and so on, nine layers in a row, sparks flashing from time to time. It was a magnificent sight, breathtaking.

The Grandmasters paid little attention to the outward splendor, but were eager to discern whether it contained the inner meaning of the Heavenly Heart’s transformation, and so they observed it with great attention.

After the nine layers of crimson fire lotus petals blossomed, Gu Yin’s long-lost figure appeared in the center. He was still dressed in white, but the bun on his head was undone, and his black hair was loose, each strand smooth and silky, lightly gathered on his shoulders, looking quiet and graceful.

The flames still lingered, forming a ring of tiny sparks around the female cultivator, illuminating her delicate features with a dazzling brilliance. However, Gu Yin’s dazzling brilliance was never limited to her looks. Facing the old demon Kunpeng’s mockery, she replied calmly, “Since the creation of the Eliminating Evil Formation, we’ve slain two sect masters, twenty-four true cultivators, and severely injured several others. The East Sea Demon Alliance has also been reunited and dispersed. That’s enough.”

This single sentence not only choked the old demon Kunpeng but also sent a pang of blood through the hearts of the surrounding masters.

Gu Yin remained undeterred. Her glittering eyes scanned the faces of each master, her expression unexpectedly gleeful. “I had intended to await you all in the Xuan Sea, but I didn’t expect the situation to escalate, forcing me to hastily prepare in the East Sea. Fortunately, despite numerous mishaps, Heaven has not been too harsh on me and has granted me another opportunity.”

No one asked the foolish question, “What opportunity?” Instead, they each gathered their breath and cleared their minds, preparing for the life-or-death battle that lay ahead.

However, near Gu Yin, the primordial energy of heaven and earth circulated relentlessly with unbridled force, generating an invisible repulsive force that greatly interfered with the qi flow of the cultivators. They felt as if they were trapped in a quagmire, unable to exert any force.

The cultivators high in the sky were all masters of controlling qi, harnessing the primordial energy of heaven and earth to form their own domains. Yet, they were unexpectedly subdued by Gu Yin using the same, yet more advanced, method. They were filled with awe, realizing that Gu Yin’s control over his immense power far exceeded their expectations.

At this moment, Gu Yin raised his head slightly, as if observing the sky, then smiled and said, “A few years ago, because of a big regret, I reflected on the principles of the operation of this world, and discussed with a person with great supernatural powers, and came to a conclusion.”

“At the beginning of the separation of the various sects, there were hundreds of schools of thought, and the stars were shining. Some people said that there are three thousand rivers of weak water, and just taking a scoop is enough to prove the supreme goodness of the heavenly secrets; but after the sect was passed down from generation to generation, people’s hearts were not satisfied, and proving the truth was not enough, and they wanted to benefit the world for hundreds

of years; when it was passed down again, they felt that there were endless side roads, too few disciples, and insufficient funds… It was a mess, and the muddy current was overflowing.” “And since the thirty-three sects were established, for tens of thousands of years, the general trend of Tongxuan has not changed at all. It’s like a stagnant pool of water, and even a muddy current can’t rise. Everyone thinks that the world should be like this, but they don’t know that there is another world outside the thirty-three sects!”

What kind of world is it?

Everyone wanted to know what future Gu Yin envisioned. At the very least, they wanted to know what kind of magical power this so-called “other world” held that could allow Gu Yin to disregard everything and stir up such a turbulent tide!

Gu Yin’s tone remained unchanged as he continued, “The Tongxuan Realm is home to millions of cultivators, but relying on luck, talent, and a heart devoted to the Dao, one can strive for immortality…”

“Besides the five clans, how many others are there?” This question crossed everyone’s mind, but only the old demon Kunpeng felt free to interrupt Gu Yin.

Gu Yin didn’t respond directly. Instead, he reached out and gently brushed his hair, ruffled by the night wind, smiling. “If it weren’t for your greedy ambitions, your desire to dominate the Loose Cultivator Alliance, you would be the one who should have stayed. The East Sea Demon Alliance’s concept is admittedly unoriginal, but it carries aspirations. It could be a valuable supplement to the clans, allowing them to rise and fall, and providing a source of fresh blood.”

The old demon Kunpeng sneered again, seeming to despise him, but no one could truly see through his thoughts.

Gu Yin’s words no longer possessed the magical power of “The Whisper of Heaven and Earth,” but every word penetrated the hearts of the cultivators: “The great clans, though they stand alone, cannot encroach upon the vast resources of this world. Even if the independent cultivators and demons are only a loose group, if there are many of the Seven Demons and Three Independents, and if there are alliances and guilds like the Independent Cultivator Alliance, the East Sea Demon Alliance, and even the Hundred Craftsmen Hall, they can still counter their power.”

“At that time, cultivators will be everywhere, whether devoted to cultivation or carving out territories. As long as clans and alliances remain impermanent, with their rise and fall, their birth and death, there’s no need to worry about inheritance. With the shifting ranks of cultivators, alliances, and clans, and the mutual sharpening and clashes, countless more remarkable cultivation methods will emerge, bringing cultivators closer to the profound principles of the Great Dao and imbuing this world with greater vitality. That will truly be called a golden age of cultivation, a free and unfettered world!”

As he spoke, Gu Yin seemed absorbed in the scene he described, his starry eyes narrowed, and even his voice softened.

The surrounding Grandmasters felt an indescribable panic. Few here were willing to listen to Gu Yin’s words, yet somehow, they held a magical power that, once heard and etched into their hearts, a sense of eagerness emerged.

They had to admit, for their own sake, that it was a world far more exciting than reality, even if they didn’t believe it could even exist.

Li Douliang and Qingming exchanged a glance, a sudden smile breaking out. They had already set aside their sect’s grievances, prepared to face the calamity with their own bodies. Hearing these words, they felt their last remaining worries washed away. Their Dao hearts were suddenly pure and untainted, undeterred by the wounded.

They turned their gaze to Gu Yin. Just then, the female cultivator opened her eyes, and seeing the varied expressions of those around her, she too smiled.

Though it was late at night, Gu Yin’s boundless sea of light remained undispersed. Her smile, like a blooming Epiphyllum in a world of glass, captivated everyone. “I will certainly not see such carefree days. In fact, I probably won’t even see the sunrise tomorrow morning. How about this evening, together with my fellow Daoists, we embark on a new chapter, bidding farewell to this old world that should have been shattered long ago?”

As the words fell, a sudden burst of light blazed from the heavens. Brilliant lightning ripped through the thin air and struck Gu Yin’s head.

A vast expanse of clouds lay beneath his feet, while lightning flashed from overhead. This was clearly no ordinary event, a calamity drawing down thunder and fire from the nine heavens. This lightning was merely the catalyst. As the thunder and fire erupted, the cultivators high in the sky felt a suffocating force breaking through the Nine Heavens’ barrier and surfacing.

Before the cultivators could comprehend the details, the thunder and fire had already exploded above Gu Yin’s head, surprisingly without any flashes of lightning.

Gu Yin stretched out his hand, and the overflowing lightning seemed to flow into a sealed pipe. A loud humming sound erupted, punctuated by the crisp crackling of electric energy. In an instant, Gu Yin grasped a crimson-purple spear forged from lightning.

Those around him were still amazed at his mastery of concentrating lightning for his own benefit. With a slight tremor of his hand, the crimson-purple lightning shifted form again, trembling like a spirit snake. With a distinct explosion, it merged into seven, converging like sharp needles, piercing each of the seven Grandmasters.

Under the ancient sound’s control, the lightning flashed like a boundless rope, whipping in all directions. Embedded within it was a certain celestial murderous intent, subtly connected to the aura of the Grandmasters, generating a tremendous suction that made escape impossible.

Even so, the power of a single bolt of lightning split into seven pieces was nothing to the others. Even those injured like Li Douliang and Qingming didn’t flinch, taking the impact head-on.

Only the old demon Kunpeng displayed a caution belying his size. Laughing loudly, he leaped into the air, using his fish-dragon transformation to parry the lightning strike. While seemingly avoiding a direct collision, breaking through the restraints of murderous intent was actually more than ten times more exhausting than simply blocking it.

“After all, we’re not of the same caliber.”

Even now, the cultivators still standing here had resolved to break through the barriers and tribulations here. Seeing Kunpeng’s appearance, they were inevitably dismayed.

However, the direct impact also unsettled the old demon Kunpeng.

Without receiving thunder and fire, Kunpeng was able to take the lead by taking advantage of the transformation of the fish and dragon. At that moment, a hurricane arose in the sky thousands of feet high. With the grand spirit of breaking through the clouds and carrying the sky, Kunpeng forcibly tore through the surrounding vital energy flow dominated by ancient sounds and crushed towards the female cultivator.

At this point, the electric fire in Gu Yin’s hand had extinguished. She simply raised her right hand, her middle finger in the middle, without making any apparent gesture. Heat waves surged through the air, and a faint red blade light shot out. Wherever it passed, flames rose, air exploded, and a fierce fire poison penetrated their bodies, sapping their vital energy. It was an incredibly overbearing force.

The old demon Kunpeng exclaimed, surprised that Gu Yin’s methods were different from her usual ones.

Of course, Gu Yin at this moment had already surpassed her limits, and any method she employed was a matter of course. Besides Kunpeng, Li Douliang and the others didn’t rush to attack in unison. Instead, they activated their spiritual senses, scanning Gu Yin’s surroundings, trying to find the key to her unleashing the power of the evil spirit.

At this moment, another wave of searing fire suddenly erupted, the resulting heat wave brushing against everyone’s scalp. Although it was quickly neutralized by her protective true energy, the thick evil spirit within it was like a bucket of ice water poured down on their heads. The extreme yang gave way to the negative, and the chill penetrated their bones, ignoring all defenses and penetrating their hearts. In terms of power, it was no less powerful than the previous Wind Disaster and Dark Prison.

Such a calamity…

Qingming felt a sense of calamity and looked up, past the chariot ring of light surrounding Gu Yin’s body. He saw the vast night sky spread out like a dark brocade, dotted with countless stars, a breathtaking beauty.

But at some point, a crack had appeared in this brocade, as if a lazy child had played with fire, licking a small hole in the gorgeous fabric.

The crimson edge of the flames stretched out in all directions, but when the gap expanded to a certain extent, its expansion suddenly stopped. At the same time, a golden light shone through the center of the gap. This light seemed to have a spiritual power, sweeping back and forth, emitting and changing, leaving a dazzling mark on the night sky.

As the angle of the golden light shifted, Qingming suddenly felt as if a pair of eyes from the unknown, piercing all obstacles, tightening the flow of his qi meridians, and constantly changing with each passing moment. The penetrating power intensified to the point where he felt as if he had been thrown n*ked onto a vast icy plain, suffusing him with an irresistible chill.

As the feeling crystallized, he blurted out, “Golden Eye Fire Tribulation?” Qingming’s quick reaction stemmed from the fact that the “Flowing Red-Gold Pupils,” one of the Mingxin Sword Sect’s Four Techniques and Three Secret Techniques, was a technique created by a senior sect member inspired by this heavenly tribulation.

This technique uses a divine eye to survey the earth, discerning the flow of calamity. Besides cultivators specialized in this technique, nearly all masters within the sect nearing the stage of transcendence rely on it as a supplementary tool to enhance their chances of surviving the tribulation.

Qingming immediately shouted, “The Golden Eye Fire Tribulation can control all fires in the three realms, especially inflaming the poisonous flames of the heart, leading to self-immolation. Fellow Daoists, beware!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he was startled. While the Golden Eye Fire Tribulation was fierce, it was considered a “body tribulation,” a calamity triggered by a cultivator’s personal connection with nature. How could it now possess the ferocity of a “killing tribulation,” engulfing everyone?

He turned his gaze again, and upon seeing the old demon Kunpeng roaming freely, a realization struck him: indeed, he was cunning and treacherous. He couldn’t even handle the thunder and fire

. Before he could consider it further, the calamity had already descended.

This wave of calamity didn’t possess any dazzling brilliance. Qingming felt only a weight sinking, as if he were trapped in a tight space. His vital energy flow encountered an inexplicable resistance.

It wasn’t that the flow of Qi and blood was being forcibly slowed, but rather that it felt as if it were violently rubbing against the blood vessels, like the rubbing of one’s palms together. It generated an abnormally high heat, almost threatening to burn.

Qingming would have preferred to believe it was an illusion, but the feedback from his body was unmistakable. Even before he activated his sword energy, his Qi and blood were already boiling, and the internal injuries were being affected, worsening.

It was indeed the poisonous flames of the heart fire.

Qingming had witnessed the power of Li Xun’s Burning Blood Qi before; it was also a powerful, demonic technique that vaporized a person’s vital energy, but it was still traceable and could be stopped. Unlike this celestial tribulation, the firepower rose and fell without a trace, leaving no trace, allowing one to be ensnared without even realizing it.

However, when he looked around, he saw that the others seemed to be in a different situation. Li Douliang was in the same predicament as him, presumably already stricken. But Luo Qichang, Bancheng Jushi, and the others were flowing freely. Looking overhead, Ramash and Chu Chen, further away, were also experiencing the same situation.

It suddenly dawned on Qingming that this wave of evil had taken advantage of his vulnerability, igniting the moment his internal organs were damaged and the evil was brewing. It wasn’t truly invisible and traceless.

Knowing its origin would make it easier to deal with.

Qingming wasn’t in a rush to channel his true energy, instead concentrating his mind and spirit, allowing his qi and blood to flow naturally, nourishing his internal organs. At his level of cultivation, his physical body was nearly indestructible. As long as his essence and blood were not depleted and burned by the alien true energy, his injuries would heal extremely quickly.

His previous injury was simply due to his inability to control the direction of the sword energy, effectively injuring himself. Calming down and healing himself would not be difficult.

While Qingming was suppressing his injuries, the old demon Kunpeng had reached the pinnacle of his fish-dragon transformation, increasing the distance between him and Gu Yin, now over ten miles away. However, the high-altitude storm only grew more intense.

Those around him discerningly understood that the demon was employing the same tactics used by Li Douliang and Qingming to compete with Gu Yin for control of the surrounding heavenly and earthly vital energy, forcing Gu Yin to boost his morale.

After all, no matter what the female cultivator did, the golden-eyed fire tribulation overhead would still target her. While the others suffered, the pressure she bore only grew greater.

Although Qingming’s movements were temporarily limited, his mind was racing. He stared at Gu Yin, watching her battle with Kunpeng, seemingly reverting to a previous stalemate. He couldn’t help but feel puzzled. Despite Gu Yin’s boasts, her methods were more ordinary than expected. Furthermore, the Golden Eye’s Fire Tribulation was neither fierce nor impetuous.

This calamity, unleashing the poisonous flames of her heart, was meant to target Gu Yin. Gu Yin absorbed the energies of heaven and earth with a voracious greed. While her exact methods were unknown, the immense energy accumulated within her was like oil in a bamboo basket; a single ignition would incinerate it to ashes.

Yet, the effect was unremarkable.

Or perhaps…

Qingming’s vision suddenly blurred. Gu Yin, who had been fixed on the center of his pupils, vanished into thin air. The shift from presence to absence was so drastic that it made him dizzy.

The previously stagnant situation collapsed in that instant.

Before Qingming could recover from the sudden change, another muffled explosion echoed from the void. It was Luo Qichang behind him, thrusting his sword to intercept Gu Yin’s sudden, unpredictable attack. Immediately afterwards, his ears were assaulted by a continuous barrage of explosions.

The source of these explosions varied in distance, from as close as twenty feet to as far as ten miles. In a single instant, Gu Yin had engaged in a duel with every Grandmaster except Qingming.

As the sound waves swept across, overlapping and clashing, their highs and lows cascaded, at first, they resembled a short melody—deafening yet strangely harmonious.

Qingming, a man of musical sensibility, perceived the series of explosions as turbulent, like a mighty river roaring through a mountain valley, swirling and turbulent. Though imposing, their surging, unbridled intensity seemed to have yet to subside.

At this moment, the murderous aura of heaven and earth surged forward like a tidal wave, accompanied by rumbling explosions.

“The waves surged through the high gorge, the torrents plunged thousands of feet… Oops!”

Qingming could almost see himself being crushed by the accumulated floodwaters.

In this life-or-death moment, he had no time to marvel at Gu Yin’s composure as he leveraged the power of the numerous True One Grandmasters. Nor did he think of dodging, because Gu Yin would never give him that chance!

At this moment, Qingming’s profound Xuanmen cultivation was unleashed to its fullest. He instantly banished all distractions, his mind returning to its primordial chaos. No sword intent remained hidden, yet the Xinzhao Sword resounded with a resounding clang, energizing the acupoints and meridians throughout his body. The sword energy, just in time to reach its peak, remained precisely where the explosive force was strongest.

At the same moment, a torrent of force crushed him!

A sharp whistling sound pierced his brain, and Qingming felt as if struck head-on by a massive hammer. In this moment, his body had lost its normal form, twisting under the surging sword energy. Every inch of his body was pressuring the sword energy, becoming its perfect vehicle, shielding it from the overwhelming force of its long-accumulated power.

However, that was all the impact!

The seemingly unstoppable torrent merely swirled around Qingming, as if rushing past a dangerous rapid, gathering even greater force. With a slight deflection, it rolled forward again. Beyond him lay the broken stone gorge, a thousand feet high.

There, there was Luo Qichang!

The Xinzhao Sword vibrated incessantly. The sword, merely carried by the impact, was already on the verge of collapse. Meanwhile, the Sword Master’s condition was also far from perfect. Qingming’s face swelled purple, his body barely recovering from its twisted state. Though his foundation hadn’t been damaged, it was still difficult for him to recover quickly.

He watched helplessly as the roaring torrent passed by him and rushed towards Luo Qichang, ten feet behind him. Though he knew the torrent was truly irresistible, he lost all the energy to even speak a word.

The ancient sound force had initially sought Luo Qichang, and now, repeating the cycle, it charged forward again. The process was simple, yet it implicitly aligned with the principles of the celestial circulation. Each cycle elevates the entire realm. The earth’s murderous intent, already contained within the torrent, was stirred to life, solidifying like a sword, striking first.

Overwhelmed by this murderous intent, Luo Qichang, like Qingming, completely abandoned all attempts at avoidance, not even considering whether he could withstand the roaring torrent.

His brows arched, and like a blade, the pure sword energy cultivated over millennia exploded. The vital energy of heaven and earth within a mile, driven by the sword energy, suddenly broke free from the rhythm controlled by the ancient sound, roaring and surging like a raging sea.

“Sea rain and sky wind travel alone!”

At this moment, Luo Qichang displayed a swordsmanship far superior to Qingming’s, his sword intent reaching everywhere. Even at such a complete disadvantage, he forcibly carved out a world for himself.

Just as his “Sea Rain and Sky Wind Sword Art” manifested, as the sword energy erupted, those around him seemed to be transported back to the thundering East China Sea. Torrential rain poured down, sea and sky merged, and Luo Qichang himself seemed suspended between this independent world, the master of sea and sky!

“Good!” Li Douliang, further away, cried out.

This was undoubtedly the most spectacular evolution of Luo Qichang’s sword intent to date, pushing the “Sea Rain and Sky Wind Sword Art” to its highest possible level.

The whistling sword energy churned the void, making one think it was an approaching storm, and the magnificent and soaring sword intent completely sublimated this storm of sword energy.

But the next moment, people saw the sun bursting forth from beneath the sea!
