Chapter 2 Fighting

This punch rendered everyone speechless.

From the “landlord” behind the water mirror high in the sky to the members of the Pluto Sect on the ground, including the gradually forgotten Shang Shi, their minds suddenly went blank.

Everyone involuntarily stared at Razor Peak, its eerily silent summit. Even a fool could sense the impending storm.

Li Xun’s breathing calmed slightly, and he let out a long breath, his clenched fists trembling uncontrollably.

The pain of broken knuckles and torn flesh reverberated like a red-hot iron needle piercing deep into his brain. At that moment, Yin Sanren’s previous advice finally made sense.

“As expected of a celestial bird, I have a natural ability to restrain the blood shadow demon body. Am I asking for trouble?”

This thought flashed through his mind, and then Li Xun laughed to himself.

The intense pain still assaulted his nerves, but it was this burning sensation that stretched his heart, and for a moment, he even felt as if he could absorb the entire world.

However, this unreal feeling lasted only a moment, followed by a piercing chill from Razor Peak.

The clashing of ice and fire instantly overwhelmed Li Xun’s anger, and his laughter died abruptly. His expression remained the same as it had been a moment before, as strange as it could be.

At that moment, everyone’s gaze returned to his face, but the implication within it stung like needles, causing a dull pain.

What was that? Pity? Gloating? Or perhaps, more bluntly, like looking at a dead person?

Suddenly, everything within their field of vision began to shake slightly, especially Razor Peak.

This was similar to the effect of Li Xun’s previous manipulation of forbidden magic, but the truly terrifying thing was that this shaking wasn’t limited to this small world. The vibrations shook everyone present from the outside in, shaking their bodies and then their minds.

Everyone—regardless of whether they were involved or not—who personally experienced this vibration felt the barriers of their will dissolve in the tremor.

The vast, majestic aura of Razor Peak and the icy, murderous intent mingled together, causing early spring to instantly revert to the depths of winter.

Li Xun let out two involuntary “huhs,” then clenched his teeth, fearing the sound of his own teeth clashing.

As the sole target of the murderous intent, he endured a pressure that even the combined forces of everyone around him couldn’t even begin to withstand.

At that moment, Li Xun fully understood the meaning of the gazes of those around him. This realization was like a bucket of ice water poured over his heart, completely extinguishing his already weakened spirit.

However, his heart still retained some energy, allowing him to whisper softly.

“******…”

A meaningless curse escaped from between his teeth, barely audible. The crackling sound of his hands grew louder, seemingly echoing throughout his heart.

The pure, spiritual energy tainted by the Azure Luan Dharma Body was undoubtedly a formidable acid to the Blood Shadow Demon Body, especially when combined with external Qi, its destructive power multiplied exponentially.

But in the blink of an eye, several small holes had been eroded from the wound’s palms and backs, causing blood and flesh to twitch and strain at the heart and lungs.

Qingluan hadn’t yet appeared atop Razor Peak, only the intense pressure radiating from it shook the mountain.

The rumbling sound, initially resonating beneath the Nine Earths, resonated within the Nine Heavens within seconds. Amidst this deafening thunder, Li Xun’s soul felt as if it had been blasted from his body, trembling

and swaying, its foundationless foundation lost. Shui Dielan, watching his performance from beside him, frowned, but said nothing.

She took a deep breath and instantly increased her own aura, her dress moving in unison, countering Qingluan’s overwhelming aura, intent on taking some of the pressure off Li Xun. The aura had barely risen, and then, roughly pushed away, her aura vanished.

Startled, she turned to see Li Xun, clearly straining under the pressure, bending over with difficulty. Beads of sweat dripped down, obscuring his face, their drooping hair covering his face, obscuring his expression.

Shui Dielan only heard him chuckle. “When she beat me to death, no one said anything; why is it like I’m breaking the law just by touching her?”

The seemingly teasing words betrayed a feeling that made Shui Dielan’s chest tighten.

She was speechless for a moment, finally coming back to reality and slowly shaking her head. “You’ve angered Qingluan, someone as proud as her…”

Midway through her words, she saw a purple jade box slip out of Li Xun’s arms. It was the token she had received from Shang Shi. Shui Dielan casually snatched it up and put it into her sleeve.

Li Xun’s breathing became louder, but it was barely a mosquito’s whisper amidst the thundering earth and sky.

Seeing he showed no sign of retreating, Shui Dielan suspected he was frightened out of his mind. “Fool, use Youyi to block for a while. Let’s retreat first. You’ve dealt Qingluan a blow today, and you’re still not satisfied?”

She glanced towards where Youyi stood. The big man’s strength was three times stronger than last time. Even facing Qingluan head-on… uh, what’s going on?

Without a single gesture, You Yi’s imposing figure vanished into thin air, never to be seen again.

Shui Die Lan was stunned for a moment before realizing what was happening and turning to him, angrily exclaiming, “What are you doing? Hey, I’m injured! Qing Luan’s coming at me again…!”

“Fuck her!”

The distorted curse nearly choked Shui Die Lan. However, Qing Luan’s murderous intent, emanating from the distant sky, showed no sign of understanding. Thunder roared again, its roar piercing the heart.

Li Xun, still bent over, panting heavily, took a deep breath. During a lull in the thunder, he thrust his arms together, tensing every muscle.

With this strength, he let out a scream from the depths of his throat!

Shui Die Lan was startled. She couldn’t comprehend the meaning of the cry, but the moment she heard it, her heart suddenly sank, as if something had “struck” her, filling her chest with a mass she couldn’t relieve.

Suddenly, a feeling struck her, and she looked up to see a sudden flash of lightning in the pitch-black sky.

A sudden thunderclap boomed from the heavens, sending waves of sound piercing down, shattering Li Xun’s nascent roar.

A breath caught in his throat, his face flushed red, the corners of his cracked lips curved in a smile that was neither tearful nor funny, yet his body tensed again as he screamed once more.

Thunder roared again, shattering his roar as before.

Then the roar rose again, then fell again. This repeated pattern repeated itself. Li Xun’s face flushed a crimson red, spreading to his neck and chest. His facial muscles were contorted beyond recognition, and sweat coated his face.

His screams grew hoarse and cracked, even tinged with tears, more like the despair of impending death.

Yet the intervals between his screams grew shorter and shorter. Even the thunder of the heavens, threatening to overturn the world, could not completely extinguish the creaking clamor.

Not only that, one, two, five, seven…

the intermittent screams were connected one after another. Under the bombardment of thunder, all the gaps between them were gradually erased, penetrating each other, spreading farther and farther, and finally the rapidly rising pressure burst out from the inside out.

At this moment, Li Xun’s body suddenly curled up to its limit, then instantly spread out. His fingertips, his groin, and even every pore in his body were engulfed by the surging torrent. His muscles were instantly stretched to their limit.

“Ahhhhhhhhh…” This is the exclusive text version of this work and may not be reproduced or excerpted without permission. For the latest and fastest chapters, please visit [bsp].” The frantic roar finally turned into a piercing scream that soared through the clouds.

Even though the thunder in the sky was a continuous sound, shaking the mountains and rivers and raining down rocks, the roar continued to rise higher and higher, stirring the torrent of thunder to compete with it.

Although it might not be as powerful, the fierce and brave aura within it was like a raging fire that had the power to spread all over the land.

For a moment, everyone was stunned. In this moment, they almost forgot that Qingluan was there—but only “almost.” At

the peak of the scream, the eardrums of all the onlookers ached.

At first, they thought it was the whistling noises that were causing the disturbance. But then, their ears stopped ringing. Only the pounding of their eardrums, on the verge of collapse, and the churning of blood in their skulls brought them to their senses—

a sound beyond human endurance!

Razor Peak finally crumbled under the overwhelming force. From the summit, countless horrifying cracks spread downward like serpents.

Before it reached the halfway point, a shimmering azure light shot up from the peak, several feet thick, streaking across the sky. The night sky trembled.

The peak exploded with a bang, sending boulders flying. The onlookers felt the impact of the exploding eardrums tenfold.

With muffled groans, the three Hades generals behind Yuan Jian collapsed to the ground. The high-altitude water mirror shattered, its shapeless form.

Everyone instinctively leaned back, including Li Xun. His head had barely moved back half an inch when, with a groaning chorus in his spine, he slammed forward, his body surging forward, using the momentum to charge forward.

Beside him, Shui Dielan suddenly reached out, about to grab the hem of his shirt, but somehow stopped mid-air.

Without hesitation, Li Xun’s final breath surged upward, his throat piercing through him. Following the sharp roar, his tail exploded.

It was the roar of a ferocious beast declaring war on its foe. Though it was far from the killing power of Qingluanyuan, which could reach the limit of human hearing, it still defended its territory.

At this moment, Li Xun’s eyes remained unwavering, staring straight ahead. He met a pair of pupils drenched in azure light.

The next moment, a burst of cyan rainbow light washed over Li Xun, and all thoughts were washed clean from his mind. Only a single drop of the purest “heart blood” within his core ignited, energizing his entire body. Instantly, his essence, blood, bones, and veins transformed, and he unreservedly activated his “Blood Shadow Demon Body.”

The sky suddenly darkened, half illuminated by the cyan light, as if casting a thick shadow again, seeking to reclaim its territory.

But this transformation lasted only a moment. Immediately, a radiant azure light shone forth, illuminating an area several miles in radius.

A wave of intense, frightening vibrations emanated from the azure’s most intense core, threatening to tear a hole through the sky.

At that moment, everyone saw Li Xun’s seemingly tiny form charging headlong into the surging azure light, like a pebble trying to stop a bursting dam.

A head-on collision!

The scene froze for perhaps a thousandth of a second, at least that’s how it seemed to everyone.

Soon, they saw Li Xun’s body transformed into a bizarre form by the immense force. The image in his pupils fed back to his brain, causing even Yuan Jian’s eyes to twitch. Then, reflexively, a single thought flashed through his mind:

“The Hundred Demons are finished!”

Before the thought was even uttered, a muffled sound echoed, and the night sky was bathed in a murky, blood-red hue.

Behind Yuan Jian, a ghost general struggled to stand, leaning against a nearby tree trunk. Still looking up at the sky, he sighed and said, “It was smashed so hard I’m afraid not even a bone is left!”

Yuan Jian grumbled, noncommittal.

The ghost general chuckled and continued, “That saved us a lot of effort, but this Qingluan… eh?”

He spoke for a moment before he yelped and stumbled, nearly falling to the ground again. Yuan Jian turned back to check. He twisted his neck and couldn’t turn back.

The tree trunk the ghost general had been holding onto was probably a poplar, with a straight trunk and the thickness of a bowl. Yet, now, the trunk seemed to have aged thousands of years in an instant.

The spot where the ghost general had been holding onto withered and collapsed, a large hole radiating outward from the canopy to the roots. In an instant, the luster faded, and the few tender leaves that had sprouted in early spring faded to a chilling grayish-white.

With a loud bang, the entire poplar tree crumbled to dust, ash showering the ghost general’s head and face.

At that moment, the grove where Yuan Jian and the others stood seemed to have been struck by a demonic plague.

Suddenly, a series of muffled “bangs” echoed in their ears. All the life and color of the trees, flowers, and grasses was drained away, leaving only a cold grayish-white hue before completely disintegrating.

In the blink of an eye, the place where they stood was a white expanse!

Yuan Jian, waking suddenly from a dream, looked up again. The azure rainbow light in the sky still shone brightly, but at the intersection of light and shadow, a thin, almost nonexistent layer of blood stained it.

This blood-red color grew thicker, and after a few breaths, it fell like a mist and rain.

A clang sounded in the air, and the azure rainbow light suddenly expanded, sweeping across the sky, piercing the blood mist with a sizzling sound.

At the center of the intense light, Qing Luan’s figure gradually became clear. She was shrouded in a shimmering azure light, a light that seemed to penetrate her lungs and meridians, making her look like a celestial being.

Her eyes, pierced by divine light, swept around her, and wherever she looked, a stream of azure light surged through her, like a shadow, and the void was instantly clear.

At that moment, she curled her lips slightly as she coldly asked, “Blood Demon?” Her

deep voice had incredible penetrating power, carried for hundreds of miles, perhaps even heard clearly by the demon phoenixes engaged in fierce combat on the other side.

Her response was a sizzling sound across half the sky, a sound like the gnawing of mosquitoes and ants, a dense, interwoven cacophony that sent shivers down one’s spine. Suddenly,

a spark ignited in the dark, dark sky, barely visible to the light.

As the faint glow seared into Qingluan’s eyes, a muffled explosion erupted with a hundred-foot-long burst of flames, crisscrossing and intertwining. In an instant, the sky, a thousand feet high, was a sea of inferno. The

void distorted under the heat, the ripples spreading to Qingluan’s vicinity mysteriously vanished, casting a dazzling, luminous glow around her that was unbearable to look at.

Amidst the pulsing sea of fire, the Blood Demon seemed to merge with it, soaring and evaporating like wisps of smoke.

Suddenly, a figure leaped from the sea of fire, shrouded in blood-red flames. Wherever it passed, the sea of fire surged, occasionally spitting tongues of flame tens of feet into the sky. The momentum was unparalleled.

Qing Luan sneered coldly, her fingers pointed like swords at the opponent’s heart. Just as she was about to strike, a piercing scream erupted, a fierce and violent aura bursting forth like a storm.

It was as if a layer of boiling oil had been poured over the sea of fire. In an instant, the flames intensified. The sounds of the explosions merged with the screams, colliding like a heavy drum, striking everyone in the heart.

Those with weaker skills, such as the three Hades generals, felt their heads buzzing with the loud noise, and they all spat out blood.

Even more terrifying was the sight of all creatures, animals, and plants withered in an instant, annihilating all life within a hundred miles.

High in the sky, Qingluan could sense that this boundless sea of fire was consuming the very life of countless beings within the Beiqi Mountains.

Amidst the blast of flames, the shrill cries of the living could still be heard.

After the extinction of life, boundless resentment gathered with terrifying speed, igniting anew. The flames engulfing the flying figure turned a thick, piercing crimson.

The eerie flames, like the claws of a demon, hissed forward, contacted Qingluan’s protective light, and instantly disintegrated into a wisp of smoke. Yet, without hesitation, the impact descended. The

protective light trembled slightly, a sizzling sound echoing incessantly.

Feeling the intensity of the impact, Qingluan’s eyes narrowed, a low hum snorted, and she lunged forward with her blade.

With a muffled “clang” sound, the protective light was forcibly broken, a crack appearing. A pale, slender hand thrust forward, its fingers slightly bent, colliding directly with her thrusting blade.

The sound of flesh colliding was like the clanging of metal, even sending sparks flying. A faint, piercing roar pierced through the clashing sound, a sharp, piercing piercing through flesh and bones.

Qingluan paid no heed to the terrifying demonic sound, but her obsession with cleanliness was overwhelmed. The touch of the other’s skin made her feel as if her hand would rot. She instinctively drew her arm back slightly, and her robe sleeve swung, a surge of wind and thunder that shook the claw away.

With a crisp “click,” the reaching claw was instantly deflected back at a strangely twisted angle.

Qingluan, unwilling to give the other a chance to close in, struck out with her front hand, then her back. Her five fingers swung, a sharp, whistling sword energy piercing the air. In an instant, twelve finger swords whistled, and then her robe sleeve swirled again, stirring the air in a torrent that nearly lifted half the sky.

The hurricane swept through, scattering the raging flames to smithereens. The burning night sky dimmed again. But then, a sudden burst of blood painted a strange hue.

A muffled sound echoed, followed by a succession of bloody flowers.

Li Xun could no longer fly. The stiffness caused by the sword wind cracking his body pinned him to the ground. Twelve finger swords swung almost incessantly, and flesh and blood flew everywhere!

The powerful sword energy was enough to split mountains and shatter rocks with each strike. Sixty strikes could reduce even a diamond to mud. Li Xun’s situation only worsened.

Then, a hurricane swept across half the sky. The hurricane, with its intense tearing force, pulverized Li Xun’s dehumanized body into a pulp with a single blow. Immediately,

a brilliant light shone from the void, as if a hole in the immortal realm had opened, and the waters of the Milky Way poured down. A surging stream of light swept across the sky, instantly submerging Li Xun’s remains, leaving no trace.

The onlookers on the ground were stunned, each wondering what their chances of surviving intact had they faced Qingluan’s barrage of attacks.

Few believed the Blood Demon could survive—but there were exceptions.

Shui Dielan placed her hand over her heart, pursing her lips slightly, her face stern yet calm. Qingluan

, too, was using her “Lapis Lazuli Sea of Light” to sweep away all impure energy. Seeing the Blood Demon completely purged, her confidence was less than before.

In that instant, her heart tightened, and she instinctively shifted sideways.

The void seemed to freeze for a moment before a faint crimson mark slowly emerged, moving from west to east, a straight, sword-like trajectory, passing directly through where Qingluan had stood.

Then, a piercing cry, like the scream of a wounded sky, piercingly sharp, made one’s scalp numb. Qingluan’s face darkened with a solemn expression: “Blood God Body Tempering?”

The intense pressure washed over her again, and Qingluan dared not hesitate any longer. She dodged, retreating a mile in an instant.

A dark crimson trail crossed in the void with two clanging sounds, slicing the sky into four.

Qingluan suddenly covered her face with her sleeves, shifting her form unnoticed. She heard a subtle ripping sound, her cuffs slashed with two half-inch cracks. The cold wind numbed her skin,

proving the opponent had the right to harm her.

Her pupils shrank, and her form abruptly unfolded, a protective aura shattering. A turbulent current swept across the universe.

Amidst this surging torrent, an invisible yet tangible figure, severing all obstacles, charged forward with reckless abandon. A

shriek echoed again. Qingluan guarded her spiritual altar, her expression impassive, and swung back with a resounding “bang.” With a resounding “bang,” their bodies met once again. Qingluan didn’t flinch, but endured the discomfort of burning and acidic erosion, coldly exerting her strength.

Scarlet light, like a volley of fireworks, scattering into the sky under Qingluan’s palm power. Despite the successful strike, Qingluan showed no sign of relief.

This strike confirmed her suspicions: “It’s truly the Blood God’s Body Forging! What a guts!”

She took a deep breath, no matter how much filth had been tainted by it, and with that breath she regained her composure.

From this moment on, the opponent was no longer an ant to be easily destroyed, but a formidable foe to be taken seriously!

Li Xun knew nothing of Qingluan’s thoughts.

His soul was drenched in blood. Accompanied by the shrill, resentful cries of countless creatures, all thoughts were reduced to a chaotic, instinctive nature.

Only the deepest surge of emotion propelled him across the sky.

Wildness, ferocity, brutality… these intense elements formed the mainstream of his emotions. It was this unstoppable torrent that broke through layer after layer of closed limits, piercing his heart and unleashing the urges he had suppressed for a lifetime!

No one willingly accepts inferiority; no one wishes to be the weaker party; no one finds satisfaction in being cautious, and naturally, no one finds pleasure in being slighted.

Whatever the reason, for decades, Li Xun had been flattering, vulnerable, cautious, and ultimately looked down upon.

Perhaps he could extract pleasure through various means, but his delicate, frail roots could only produce twisted, pale fruits.

Yet, now, those frail roots had twisted and twisted, firmly anchored him. Why should he continue to bury himself in the earth, living a humble life?

He might not yet soar like an eagle, but he had the strength to command more sunlight.

So, he should be grateful to Qingluan, thankful for this proud woman’s “unacceptable” reaction, awakening him from his tumbling muddy state.

What better gift of thanks could there be?

Another body-shattering impact. Every time at this moment, Li Xun wondered if he could ever fully reassemble himself.

The powerful impact threatened to shatter the “blood core” that sustained him. Yet, every time, just before collapse, his body would naturally absorb the pressure with the most precise and mysterious means, ultimately disintegrating and reuniting to unleash even greater power.

Words like “disregarding life and death” are hard to describe after experiencing dozens of life-and-death transitions.

Call him disillusioned or numb, but Li Xun has now

completely forgotten about the so-called “subtle changes,” cultivating waves of fierce and fierce energy in his chest, completely melting his mind.

Unaware of life or death, only the surging torrent repeatedly lashed against the confines of the “mud,” welcoming the boundless light he had never before possessed.

It was in this moment that he finally fully grasped the mysteries of the “Blood God Son.”

This technique, known as the supreme magic skill of Tongxuan, possessed all its subtleties and mysteries, its treacherous transformations as minor details. Only the fearless, heaven-defying spirit within him, the ruthless disregard for all life, the ruthlessness of exploiting the world for his own ends, was the supreme mindset that woven the entirety of the essence.

It was precisely because of this that he could rival Qingluan’s soaring momentum, and, despite the overwhelming pressure of this ten-thousand-year-old demon, he could persevere, repeatedly pushing his “Blood Shadow Demon Body” to ever-greater heights.

Driven by a killing spree, blood-red light filled nearly every corner of the sky, shaking the very void and annihilating all life wherever it passed.

While Qingluan possessed profound cultivation and a near-infinite stamina, Li Xun could also draw upon the vital energy of heaven and earth, wiping away all life for his own use.

The impact range of both sides rapidly expanded, no longer confined to the high altitudes, occasionally swooping down, with its tail sweeping across the landscape, leaving a deadly scene.

While the battle raged, the Northern Qi Mountains endured an unprecedented catastrophe.

The earth’s veins and acupoints were severely damaged by the shockwaves. After tonight, countless precious medicinal herbs were lost. Regardless of victory or defeat, the vitality of the Northern Qi Mountains would not recover for a hundred years.

Shang Shi held his breath and snored, regulating his energy before daring to breathe normally.

By then, the Hundred Ghosts’ “Blood Shadow Demon Body” had unleashed its full force, constantly absorbing the surrounding vital energy, vitality, and souls. It would be a blessing to survive even a single unforeseen event.

Such brutal and ruthless tactics truly lived up to the reputation of Tongxuan’s supreme magic skill.

Even Shang Shi, with his unwavering resolve, sighed inwardly. If Qingluan hadn’t intervened, revealing the Hundred Ghosts’ identities, his previous plans would have been fraught with uncertainty.

Now the ghosts truly couldn’t touch her. She only hoped the two of them would fight to a draw, both injured. Only then could she capture the Feather Servant… Huh?

Shang Shi’s gaze shifted to the Feather Servant, still hovering low in the sky.

The woman had remained unscathed in the fierce battle, still asleep. It was clear that at least one party above was watching over Shang Shi, cautiously avoiding an opportunity to attack. While she herself maintained her composure, she couldn’t prevent the others’ intentions!

A figure in the night sky cleverly exploited the shifting light and darkness to approach the Feather Servant’s hovering position, its intentions clear.

Shang Shi briefly assessed the situation, but ultimately decided not to take the risk. Gritting his teeth, he charged forward, their gazes meeting in a moment of shock.

“Qin Wanru?”

“Madam Shang?”

There was a subtle difference in their attitudes, but Qin Wanru took the initiative, stroking her temples with a smile. “Madam Shang, are you planning to prevent our mother-daughter reunion?”

Shang Shi, unwilling to engage in a verbal battle, glanced at the Feather Servant standing to the side and moving again, intent on blocking Qin Wanru’s path.

But her movement also stirred Qin Wanru’s energy. Their eyes met, their auras meeting, their gazes cold.

“Madam Shang, haven’t you had enough of being an accomplice to the evil?”

Qin Wanru spoke calmly, her body moving gracefully. Suddenly, she had conjured dozens of replicas, their true and false forms unpredictable, rushing forward.

Shang Shi remained silent, unmoved by the illusions. With a sharp, swift movement of two fingers, like the strokes of a pipa, they pierced the air, striking Qin Wanru’s vital points.

With a long, drawn-out “chi,” Qin Wanru’s body erupted like boiling water, intense yang energy emanating from her. The instant the finger force made contact, a subtly yin force emerged, easily dissolving it.

Moreover, the remaining force was instantly dissipated. In a blink of an eye, sixty-four yin and yang transformations condensed, and light gradually merged. A faint purple ball of light, about the size of a baby’s head, shone faintly, whirling in the air, occasionally emitting dazzling flashes of lightning, separating her from Shang Shi.

“Extreme Transformation Yin-Yang Technique?”

Just as Shang Shi had this thought, lightning flashed within the purple ball of light. With a series of crackling sounds, over a dozen pale purple rays streaked across the void.

While these rays weren’t as powerful as the Blood Demon’s, the interplay of energy and the shifting dynamics of Yin and Yang within them, causing a jolt of energy to pierce, explode, shock, and dissipate, was a real headache for Shang Shi.

Stagnating under the weight of the dozen or so rays, Shang Shi could only utter a low whistle, responding with a sonic stun.

For a moment, the void vibrated, the light flickering and pulsing with a powerful force. However, Shang Shi clearly saw a figure circling from afar as she and Qin Wanru clashed.

Looking at Qin Wanru’s determined expression, what else could Shang Shi understand? She began to regret not bringing more of her men with her.

Now, she could only raise her whistle and exploit the invisible power of sound waves to attack from a distance.

But Qin Wanru had been prepared. The purple ball of light hummed and vibrated, stirring the void and promptly destroying the medium that carried the sound waves. A series of explosions echoed through the night sky, reducing the power of Shang Shi’s attack by at least 50%, no longer posing a threat to the figure in the distance.

Suddenly, a burst of light erupted from the sky, a brilliant blue-white

light blasting down like thunder. The figure had already leaped over Yu Shi’s side, reaching out to grab him, but when he saw the azure light dome overhead, he was too late to react. With a muffled thud, the immense force blasted him miles into the air, his flesh and bones reduced to mud. A single sweep of the “Blood Evil” in the air left not a trace of him.

Shang Shi breathed a sigh of relief, his heart aching.

He glanced at Qin Wanru, only to find she remained remarkably composed, her expression unchanged. She simply activated the purple ball of light in the void, launching another wave of attacks.

Shang Shi was puzzled, and then he saw the figure flash again, suggesting a mortal struggle.

“Is the Yin-Yang Sect going to be destroyed for Yu Shi?”

Shang Shi finally couldn’t help but whisper, his words tinged with a hint of bewilderment.

As they spoke, a second individual was slain by the combined efforts of the two demons in the sky. Just as the second individual was annihilated, a third leaped forth…

Shang Shi was startled, but Qin Wanru merely smiled, unfazed. Instead, she capitalized on the momentary relief of pressure to unleash her ultimate Yin-Yang technique, boiling the air around him.

With a low groan, Shang Shi, unwilling to confront Qin Wanru head-on, retreated, then rolled sideways into the darkness.

Qin Wanru’s gray dress was a perfect shield, and the ability to transform light into darkness and deliver a thunderous strike was her most adept tactic.

During this shift, the third individual was slain by Qingluan from mid-air, but the successor, without hesitation, charged forward again. Shang Shi glanced at him, a sudden suspicion forming in her mind: “How could Qin Wanru, so young, be so capable of such a feat?”

A sudden realization dawned on her, and she immediately spotted the flaw. Then, judging by the person’s attire and cultivation, how could they possibly be associated with the Yin-Yang Sect?

“Bewitching spell?”

Qin Wanru burst out laughing at the words. “Madam Shang is truly an honest woman. I thought I couldn’t fool you the third time!”

Before she could finish her words, Shang Shi suddenly realized what had happened. But how could she react in time?

A stream of cyan light in the sky, like a divine bird flapping its wings, blasted the fourth person into a pulp. But it was during this moment that Qin Wanru gently waved her arm. The feathered servant, nearly two miles away, trembled suddenly and swiftly moved closer. Qin Wanru, taking advantage of the momentum, flew back, quickly closing the distance between them.

In the flickering light, Shang Shi could clearly see that a translucent silk cord had suddenly wrapped around the feathered servant, the other end of which was wrapped around Qin Wanru’s arm. She must have taken advantage of the four scapegoats’ “one after another” to do this quietly.

The roar of the blast in the sky suddenly intensified, but no azure lightning struck.

Shang Shi was now certain that Qin Wanru and the Hundred Ghosts shared a profound understanding—though it was pointless to discuss it now.

Instantly, Shang Shi cast aside all distractions, her body a shadowy shadow, stalking after her.

She no longer cared whether Qin Wanru succeeded or not, only aiming for her weak spot, waiting for the moment her mind wandered.

The opportunity arrived the moment Qin Wanru embraced Yu Shi.

Without further effort, the subtle pull of his Qi allowed Shang Shi to unleash his ultimate explosive force, almost oblivious to the existence of space. As soon as he took the first step, his cold fingertips touched Qin Wanru’s shoulder.
