I saw him wearing a phoenix-winged helmet, dark cloud soap shoes, and golden chainmail.

Holding a vajra pestle weighing 84,000 kilograms, the vajra is indestructible, and he makes a great vow that the Buddha will be born to support the Dharma.

He clasped his hands together and placed the pestle between his elbows. He was tall, mighty and brave, and his face was majestic!

The pestle is the vajra Skanda pestle, and the human being is the Skanda protector god!

Wei Tuotian is one of the twenty-four heavens protecting the Dharma in Buddhism!

Wei Tuo Tian, also known as Wei Tuo Bodhisattva, the Sanskrit name is transliterated as Private Construction Tuo De Po, which means cloudy sky.

Originally a god of Brahmanism in India, he was later converted into a protector god of Buddhism. He is one of the representatives of the protector Vajra warriors in Buddhism.

According to legend, after the Nirvana of Sakyamuni Buddha, the gods and kings discussed the matter of cremating the body and collecting the relics to build a stupa and offer them as offerings.

At this time, Emperor Shitian came to the cremation ground holding the Seven Treasures Vase and said that the Buddha had promised to give him a tooth.

So he took off the Buddha’s tooth first and prepared to go back and build a pagoda to make offerings. At that time, there was a Rakshasa ghost hiding next to Emperor Shitian. When people were not paying attention, he stole the Buddha’s tooth relic.

Wei TuoTian chased after him, captured the Rakshasa ghost in an instant, and retrieved the relics. He won the praise of the kings of the heavens, who believed that he could drive away evil spirits and protect Buddhism. He was known as Wei Tuo Bodhisattva in the world.

It is the twelfth day among the twenty heavens!

“Sad Flower Sutra” says: Wei Tuo Bodhisattva and Sakyamuni Buddha were equal brothers in the past life.

In the past, the Holy King Chakravartin had a thousand sons, all of whom were brothers. After the thousand sons learned Buddhism, they each made vows. After hearing their vows, Vetuo Bodhisattva at that time said: “When you practice enlightenment and promote Buddhism, I will give you I will be a Dharma protector and protect you. When you all become Buddhas, I will be the last one to become a Buddha.”

Later, the Thousand Sons of the Wheel-turning Holy King became our Thousand Buddhas of the Wise Kalpa, Shakyamuni Buddha was the fourth, and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva achieved The last one is named Lou Zhifo.
