Starting from the Planetary Governor - Chapter 857

Chapter 851, Blood Shark Kills the General
‘s chainsaw axe, ‘Ang Ang Ang,’ slashed the orc general’s head with one final thrust, severing it.
Armagh Ewing kicked the headless orc’s corpse aside, his expressionless face spat out a mouthful of blood foam.
This orc general’s strength was quite impressive. As the commander of the fleet dispatched by the Bonebreaker King to hunt down the Queen of Insects, he was naturally quite capable. He was at least on par with the orc general Uru, who had previously troubled Taishichen in the Moon-Watching Star Region.
However, Armagh Ewing was no Taishichen.
Taishichen had only fought with all his might, aided by the think tank director and the aid of a sacred artifact, to defeat an opponent he decapitated in just eleven minutes.
The price he paid was merely a mouthful of blood. The blow from the heavy mace had been quite devastating.
But that was all, nothing more.
Even before joining the Alliance, Ewing’s strength was likely already greater than that of Taishichen, now enhanced to its peak. After joining the Alliance, Gu Hang was also in need of top-tier combat power. This Chapter Master of the Blood Sharks possessed unparalleled talent and experience, and Gu Hang naturally provided him with enhancements, raising his rank.
He was now at least on par with Chapter Master Martins of the Phoenixes, surpassing the level of a Chapter Champion. It’s not an exaggeration to call him an Emperor Champion.
In Gu Hang’s opinion, a Space Marine of this caliber was capable of single-handedly taking on weaker Greater Daemons, Zerg Overlords, and top-tier Ork warriors.
Going even further, to face powerful Greater Daemons, even Divine Greater Daemons, fully combat-armed Zerg Queens, or even Space Marines approaching the level of Ork Kings like Bonebreaker… Gu Hang had never seen such a thing, and he had no idea how to enhance them.
The strength of those like Ewing and Martins had already been enhanced to the limit through the system’s functions. Furthermore, Gu Hang had granted them the additional power of the Storm Kingdom, but there was no way to break through to a higher level.
Beings of that level seemed impossible to create.
Regardless, reaching Ewing’s level of strength was truly exceptional.
The role he could play in the war was already significant.
The Blood Sharks, even with the Alliance now possessing tens of thousands of Space Marines, remained the Alliance’s sharpest weapon. Asking them to fight in the front lines, while they might be slightly stronger than other Chapters, their strength would be limited—they were a bit too specialized.
But given the right opportunities to unleash their unique close-quarters combat prowess, allowing them to become the blade that could pierce the enemy’s heart, they would not waste such opportunities. This
was especially true under the personal leadership of Chapter Master Ewing.
Talent has many different applications. Ewing couldn’t be expected to resemble Taishichen, bridging multiple factions, embracing mortals, uniting various forces, and commanding a massive, integrated land and sea operation on a star-level scale. The Blood Sharks had never led such a war in their lives. Their innate cold, ruthless and disregard for mortals character was not only a part of the culture of the chapter, but also the coldness inherited in their gene seed.
However, as a knife, he was suitable.
So, he was sent by Gu Hang to pursue the Queen Bug’s fleet.
His chapter fleet was very fast and suitable for this task.
After arriving at the battlefield, he found that the Queen Bug’s fleet was in a very bad situation. If he did not take care of it, the Queen Bug’s fleet would probably be destroyed by the greenskin’s pursuit fleet before the main fleet of the alliance led by General Gu arrived.
This was not acceptable.
So, without hesitation, he ordered the Blood Shark’s chapter fleet to start attacking the greenskin enemy.
In terms of strength and scale, the Orks outnumbered the Zerg Queen, and both far outnumbered the Humans.
Even with the aid of Ewing’s fleet, the combined strength of the Humans and Zerg was still no match for the Greenskins’ pursuit fleet.
However, Ewing’s assistance did at least cause considerable trouble for the Greenskins, significantly slowing their efforts to destroy the Zerg Queen’s fleet.
Ewing’s fleet, in particular, frequently intersected the battlefield, blocking and obstructing the enemy fleets, even at one point seeming to force them towards the Human main fleet.
Despite this, the Zerg biological vessels generally maintained a tacit understanding with the Humans.
There was no other way; the Zerg Queen was at her wit’s end. Even though she knew the Humans were equally scheming, she had to rely on this force to temporarily dispel the Greenskins, the greatest threat . She had
to survive this wave first, then figure out how to survive the next.
But the Greenskins were furious.
The Human fleet was too small, too annoying!
Just as the Blood Shark ships were about to make another incursion, a well-prepared Ork assault ship suddenly appeared. Not only did they bombard the ships with prepared firepower, they also launched a massive boarding attack on all the human ships.
The Blood Sharks were fully expecting the Orks to turn and bite them hard.
Under the control of the Space Marines, these dedicated Chapter ships were much more maneuverable than ordinary Human warships!
They quickly evaded the heavy fire, and sustained minimal damage.
Meanwhile, the Blood Shark warriors aboard, along with the Chapter’s elite auxiliary troops, were also on high alert.
Once the Ork boarding party boarded, a fierce clash ensued.
These greenskins, though elite, soon learned that in a head-on confrontation, there were many more formidable opponents!
And the proud Ork warlord, by targeting Ewing’s flagship, was effectively courting his own demise.
However, a hearty and life-and-death battle, even if it ended in failure, might be satisfying for the orc warlord?
The death of an orc warlord made the huge greenskin fleet somewhat shaken.
Although, there should be a pirate warlord in this greenskin fleet, who serves as the commander-in-chief. However, with the orcs’ organizational form, the death of the warlord, who is the second-in-command of the entire army, is still a big problem.
The greenskin pursuit fleet’s work to encircle the Queen of Worms fleet has become slower.
At one point, the Queen of Worms even seized an opportunity and almost broke out of the encirclement.
But at this critical moment, it was the blood sharks again.
They insidiously blocked the Queen of Worms and forced the biological fleet back into the encirclement of the chaotic greenskin fleet.
