Chapter 1028: Clash of Divine Kingdoms

on Yusheng Star. As Bassol brutally pummeled the Lionheart King, he was actually quite patient.

He was confident of victory, so he didn’t want anything to go wrong.

He didn’t underestimate the man before him, so he wouldn’t give him any chances.

If he wasn’t careful, and the Lionheart King were to rush close, he’d be scrambling to unleash his sword, and if he were to receive a few truly powerful blows, he’d likely be overturned.

Patiently and cautiously, he’d slowly wear down the old lion, pushing him to his death, until he was slain.

By then, having lost their supreme commander, their backbone, and the only true rival, the remaining human forces would be lambs to the slaughter. Even if the enemy became furious, despair was inevitable, and they would eventually be annihilated one by one.

At that point, his long-cherished ‘Stone Monastery,’ the final, indispensable fragment of the key, would be within his grasp.

Completing the forging of the key didn’t guarantee instant godhood. He still needed to use the key to find and unlock the ancient weapon, and then harness its supreme creative power to complete his ascension ritual.

But at least he could claim his ticket.

The hardest part was accomplished; the rest would be much easier to stop.

But even as he was daydreaming, he felt a sudden, violent tremor!

This!

He immediately tore his attention away from his avatar and returned to his divine kingdom.

All he saw was azure thunder!

The blasphemous kingdom of the ‘Creator’ had become a stormy place!

This was Bassall’s chaotic kingdom, the place known as the ‘Furnace of All Things,’ a nightmarish realm forged from a forcible blend of twisted rationality and ultimate depravity.

The sky wasn’t a sky, but a vast, slowly rotating canopy of gears, stained with rust and dark oil. Countless gears of varying sizes meshed together, emitting a deafening, ceaseless metallic grinding and clashing, as if the entire universe were operating in a vast, apocalyptic machine on the verge of disintegration.

The earth, likewise, was a haphazard jumble of abandoned pipelines, twisted giant rivets, broken keel beams, and countless delicate yet long-worn and broken mechanical structures, forming a boundless, jagged expanse of metal wasteland. Deep within these “mountains,” vast, dark-red metal pipes, like blood vessels, tangled and pulsated, pumping the foul fuel of the Warp throughout the divine kingdom.

Twisted “forge temples,” resembling a hybrid of a giant biological entrails and a mechanical factory, rose from the steely landscape. Composed of dull black iron, brass, and pale, writhing artificial muscle fibers, their surfaces covered in constantly opening and closing metal scales, they belched forth billowing black smoke and searing metallic vapors. Countless mechanical arms driven by gears, pistons, and chains whipped frantically within and beyond these temples, like the tentacles of an octopus, violently shoving captured Chaos Daemons, twisted soul fragments, and even the unfortunate reality of falling matter into the roaring, fang-riddled entrances of these furnaces.

Heart-wrenching wails and the ripping of metal echoed from within, as new demonic engines imbued with blasphemous souls were continuously “forged.”

Some of these new creations resembled spider tanks, covered in metallic compound eyes and whirling chainsaws; others resembled giant humanoid mechas, their chests baring pulsing flesh engines; and still others were simply flying fortresses stitched together from countless smaller aircraft, exuding an aura of plague and destruction.

They streamed out of the temple’s exit in chaotic formations, merging into the iron torrent of trillions of demonic engines guarding the kingdom’s edge.

There was no life here, only relentless manufacturing.

This was Bassol’s core domain, the Warp-manifestation of his twisted “authority of creation”—a blasphemous realm where cold mechanical logic and unbridled chaos were forcibly forged in pursuit of eternal “technological divinity.”

But now, a torrent of thunder tore through the geared sky!

The once slowly rotating, rusted and greasy geared sky was completely replaced by a violent azure! Like an inverted ocean, it brought down with unstoppable force, bearing the divine power of judgment upon all, and the will to shatter the void. The

massive bronze gears, the foundation of the kingdom’s “sky,” were as fragile as red-hot wax before the masculine and destructive thunder!

In a fraction of a second, the entire heavens of the Divine Kingdom were forcibly ripped open, a terrifying chasm of immense size, its edges flowing with blazing white molten metal!

Through this gap, the projection of a completely different realm aggressively squeezed into the “Furnace of All Things”!

It was the Kingdom of Storms!

At that moment, the Kingdom of Storms was overwhelmingly “embedding” its raging laws into the gap in the thunder-torn gear-shaped sky.

The two Divine Kingdoms began a most primal and violent conceptual clash!

Bassol couldn’t believe it!

He knew it was Gu Hang. He also knew that when the Four Gods and the Emperor were unable to intervene, Gu Hang was the only one willing and able to stop him.

In reality, in the real universe, the arrival of Leon and his Alliance reinforcements was itself a serious obstacle to his progress, forcing him to intensify his efforts to create such an avatar to fight back.

He had anticipated that if the battle went against him, Gu Hang would resort to other tactics, perhaps even creating an avatar like himself, for a more direct confrontation.

However, he hadn’t anticipated that Gu Hang’s tactics would be even more direct!

The bombardment of his kingdom had already surprised him somewhat. Firstly, he was surprised that his kingdom’s location had been discovered, and secondly, he was surprised by Gu Hang’s decisiveness.

But even more astonished was Gu Hang’s resolute attitude!

This wasn’t just a single attack on his kingdom.

The entire Storm Kingdom was bearing down on him. It was a life-or-death struggle!

Was it really that serious?

Such hatred,

such deep resentment! But Gu Hang was determined to come, a fight to the death!

Bassol’s kingdom, a sky of gears, attempted to repair itself. More rusted gears emerged from the void, trying to fill the gap.

But the Storm Kingdom unleashed a relentless wrath of thunder!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Like a whip of divine punishment, it lashed fiercely at the edge of the wound in the Gear Sky. Each blow caused more gears to shatter and melt, further widening the gap!
