Chapter 1273 Primal Mother Planet

A ghostly green starlight flowed through the cracks of spacetime, becoming moonlight that drifted across an endless black glacier.

It penetrated further, causing the light to diffuse within the glacier, forming the celestial canopy of this world beneath.

Beneath this canopy, apart from a dilapidated temple that had existed for countless ages, emitting a faint ghostly glow, the rest of the world was pitch black.

Nothing could be seen in the darkness, yet eerie sounds echoed intermittently.

The sounds contained chewing, bone-grinding, and chilling swallowing.

The ghostly light only enveloped the temple itself, making it hazy.

From afar, it resembled a candle in the night.

This was a temple sealed beneath the glacier.

Undisturbed for countless years, it existed eternally.

And at the deepest part of this temple, twelve incomplete statues were enshrined, surrounding a red altar. And on the altar…

a bronze door, marked by the passage of time, stood there.

At this moment, the bronze door silently opened.

A figure slowly emerged from the dark doorway.

A black robe, long purple hair, a slender body, an almost demonic face, a wary expression, and a terrifying aura emanating from him. It

was none other than… Xu Qing, who had been teleported away using the teleportation array formed by star-ring grass fragments!

“Where is this…”

The instant he appeared, Xu Qing immediately spread his divine sense, preparing for danger, and surveyed his surroundings.

He didn’t know where he had been teleported to, and now, as his divine sense spread, the first thing he felt was antiquity, and even more so, oppression!

His cultivation, his divine sense, everything about him was severely suppressed here, and he couldn’t fly.

This scene made Xu Qing frown deeply.

Fortunately, although his divine sense was suppressed, he could still perceive the twelve vast but incomplete statues outside the altar.

These statues each possessed a strange yet inexplicable holiness, and their bodies were covered with deep knife marks, like the rings of time measured by the claws of some terrifying being.

Compared to them, compared to the surroundings, Xu Qing, standing beneath the bronze gate of the altar, seemed to have entered a kingdom of giants.

He appeared insignificant.

“Is this a temple?”

After a long pause, Xu Qing narrowed his eyes, pondering. He didn’t notice anything unusual about his surroundings, so he stepped down from the altar. The moment his shoes touched the blood-red floor tiles, dark red liquid seeped from the tiles beneath his feet.

It floated eerily, as if the blood here was awakening.

A cold glint flashed in Xu Qing’s eyes, but he didn’t stop, continuing forward.

He wanted to leave this temple, to see the outside world, and to quickly determine his location.

Gradually, within the enormous temple, a sound like tinkling on water echoed.

Ethereal, eerie.

Until, after a long time, the footsteps suddenly stopped in the long corridor leading to the outside world.

In the vast corridor, Xu Qing stood before the decaying walls and raised his head.

His appearance perhaps stirred the wind, blowing dust across the walls, scattering it like peeling away the years to reveal a raw, blood-red totem beneath.

This totem depicted a skinned god lying on the horizon, his ribs forming mountains, bronze stars coursing through his veins.

All around him were pairs of greedy blue eyes.

A moment later, Xu Qing withdrew his gaze.

His doubts and sense of the unknown grew even stronger.

“Where exactly is this?”

Xu Qing pondered, turning to look at the exit of the corridor.

A moment later, the sound of footsteps treading on water echoed once more within the silent temple, lasting until the time it takes for an incense stick to burn…

Outside, in the pitch-black world, the temple, bathed in the faint glow of the only light, slowly had its doors pushed open from the inside.

A series of booming sounds instantly reverberated within this black world.

In an instant, all sounds of chewing vanished.

Then… pairs of blue eyes suddenly appeared from the darkness surrounding the temple, all gazing at it.

At that moment, a ghostly light emanated from the temple, as if releasing its last rays, illuminating all directions like lightning.

Xu Qing, who had pushed open the temple doors, saw everything clearly!

Corpses everywhere!

Countless corpses of gods! From

various divine races!

From different eras!

Most were reduced to skeletal remains, but some still contained flesh and blood.

They were layered upon layer, boundless and endless, their number unknown.

The moment he saw them, Xu Qing’s eyes narrowed sharply.

This was the most divine corpses he had ever seen, even on the battlefield… he had never seen so many!

And what particularly stirred his mind was that among these countless divine corpses, he saw far more than just corpses… living beings!

Those living beings were all bizarre entities!

They possessed grey, skeletal bodies, their twelve pairs of ribs asymmetrically distributed. Dark purple membranes clung to the left ribs, revealing the digested flesh and blood of gods as they swelled with each breath.

The right ribs were completely crystallized, their surfaces bulging with distorted divine faces.

These faces formed a torrent, constantly surging into the tumors on their heads, taking center stage, and changing every few breaths,

creating different faces, the only common feature being their blue eyes.

Their limbs were covered in tiny bone spurs, and their spines grew inverted.

Larger, bluish bone spurs pierced the skin from the back of their necks, protruding menacingly.

At the tip of each large bone spur was a withered finger.

As they gazed at Xu Qing, those fingers twisted and swayed along with the bone spurs.

Looking at them, Xu Qing’s eyes flashed with a sharp light; a strong sense of danger surged within him, and a familiar feeling welled up within him as well.

“These bizarre beings… I feel like I’ve seen them somewhere before…”

Before Xu Qing could ponder this further, a series of shrill cries suddenly erupted from the mouths of the countless bizarre beings outside the temple. The

sharp sound waves exploded in all directions, and an intense greed surged forth instantly.

The next instant, a wind rose from the area.

Countless bizarre beings surged from all directions, rapidly converging on Xu Qing.

A sense of crisis erupted.

Without hesitation, Xu Qing’s immortal embryo, gleaming with light, materialized behind him, sweeping forward as the boundless horde of bizarre beings charged. Wherever

it passed, the bizarre beings trembled, their cries growing increasingly shrill. Even as their bodies crumbled, they instantly reformed, seemingly

immortal .

Some, though identical in appearance, were covered in blue ice spots, displaying a far greater destructive power than ordinary beings.

Seeing this, Xu Qing raised his hand, and iron spikes flew out with a whoosh, accompanying him as

he charged forward .

Simultaneously, his parallel divine powers manifested instantly, forming layers of overlapping spacetime, conjuring figures from different times and spaces.

These figures merged with his main body, each unleashing immortal power, transforming into streaks of light that shot off in different directions.

Then, the sounds of battle and roars suddenly erupted beneath the glacial sky.

Half an hour later, under the pale green moonlight, a violent cracking sound suddenly emanated from a spot on the dark glacier, and a crack visibly tore open.

Xu Qing’s figure burst out from within.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, making him look somewhat disheveled. The moment he appeared, the spatial and temporal shadows behind him vanished. At the same time, he sensed that the outside world no longer restricted his flight, so he soared into the sky and pressed his hand down.

Instantly, the ice below rumbled, collapsing downwards while simultaneously healing itself.

From within this crack, countless strange beings could be seen below, and at their forefront stood a tall figure whose body was two-thirds blue.

One of its arms was completely covered in blue ice spots, resembling a blue ice hand!

It stared at Xu Qing with greedy eyes, but stopped, not pursuing him.

Xu Qing looked down from mid-air, also gazing at that being, his expression grim.

The strange creatures beneath the glacier possessed average overall combat strength, but their immortality, endless numbers, and inability to fly made them incredibly difficult to deal with.

However, if that were all, Xu Qing wouldn’t be in such a sorry state.

What truly troubled him were those beings with blue ice marks on their bodies. The more ice marks they had, the more lethal they became, especially the one whose arm had completely transformed into a blue bone-spiked ice hand… This

intensified Xu Qing’s sense of crisis!

Therefore, he ultimately relied on his spacetime ability, rising one after another, like a relay race, blasting open the glacier to escape.

Seeing that the opponent was no longer pursuing, Xu Qing breathed a sigh of relief, but the sense of familiarity grew stronger as he gazed at the creature beneath the crack.

“I’ve seen it on my senior brother…!”

Xu Qing’s eyes narrowed sharply as he found the source of the familiarity!

That blue bone-spiked ice hand was strikingly similar to the hand that Er Niu extended from his chest each time he unleashed his power!

“A divine abomination?”

Amidst the turmoil in Xu Qing’s mind, the cracks in the glacier below completely healed, forming a concave surface that isolated everything from the world below, severing the gaze of the towering figure whose hand had become blue ice.

Xu Qing narrowed his eyes, countless thoughts surging within him, while his divine sense expanded, surveying his surroundings.

This place was entirely black glaciers, containing an incredibly dense anomalous substance.

However, this anomalous substance was permeated with death.

Before Xu Qing could investigate further, a strange feeling transformed into a palpitation, suddenly rising within him, causing him to abruptly look up at the horizon.

There, in the swirling mist of the sky, a dark golden meteor was rapidly descending, its trajectory some distance from his location.

“That is…”

Xu Qing’s mind jolted, staring intently at the meteor in the sky. He

quickly realized!

It wasn’t a meteor at all; it was… the corpse of a vast god!

Despite its death, the aura it emitted was clearly at the level of a true god.

“This…”

Xu Qing’s eyes narrowed, and at the same time, a voice filled with horror and disbelief entered his divine sense!

“The Primordial Mother Planet!!”

The speaker was the Goddess!

At the same time, outside this glacial world, outside that spacetime rift, in the vast universe, the corpse of a god was drifting.

Following some kind of guidance, it was rapidly approaching the rift where the glacial world was located.

And inside the corpse, two people were sitting cross-legged.

It was none other than the Young Master of Aurora and Fairy Linghuang!

“The Primordial Mother Planet of the Fourth Star Ring is almost here, my husband… have you thought it through?”

Linghuang opened her eyes and spoke softly.

Beside her, the Young Master of Aurora also slowly opened his eyes at this moment.

“This plan was devised by the Immortal Venerable, and it was originally my destiny…”
