Chapter 633: Dragon Falls to the Ground

. Qiu Langsha’s home planet was overgrown with withered weeds, and a suffocating cloud of yellow sand rolled in from the sky.

The place was devastated, with broken walls and craters, the marks of artillery shells.

There were even buildings severed in half, their surfaces smooth, as if someone had split them apart with a knife.

Traces of monks’ spells outnumbered those of artillery bombardment, revealing the devastating effects of a war.

The planet had become a wasteland, yet traces of human activity persisted.

Not far from Jiang Li, a group of survivors, wearing protective masks, panted heavily as they scoured shops, supermarkets, and malls for food.

Ten years had passed, and with the exception of specially prepared foods, there was no longer any edible food left.

It was these special foods that this group of survivors sought.

…

“Hurry, search, and be quiet. If the mutant beasts find us, it’s all over,” the team leader hushed, urging the team members on, his submachine guns instinctively tightening.

He has a life radar on his wrist that is as big as a plate, which can scan the surrounding area for mutant beasts.

Every time they go out to search for supplies, they take great risks, and each time is more dangerous than the last time.

In order to resist the invasion of the Eight Desolations, the planet has mobilized all its nuclear weapons stocks, but this is useless to the monks of the Eight Desolations.

The radiation brought by nuclear weapons spread to the entire planet. When wild beasts encounter radiation, some die, some weaken, and some mutate to become more powerful.

Wild beasts that mutate to become more powerful are called mutant beasts. In the past ten years, human life has become more and more difficult, precisely because of the existence of these mutant beasts.

The mutant beasts have become several times stronger than they were ten years ago.

Suddenly, the captain’s face changed, and the life radar flashed red. One, two, three… ten, twenty, a full twenty red dots appeared around them.

The mutant beasts surrounded them!

“Everyone, stand guard! According to the plan, the older ones will provide cover, while the younger ones will leave first and take refuge in the nearest air-raid shelter. Remember, once you’re there, you’re not allowed to leave for a month!”

the captain shouted, his eyes blazing, determined to fight the mutants to the death, hoping to secure a chance for the younger members’ survival.

From the swirling yellow sand emerged the mutants—bears, lions, tigers, wolves, dogs, cats… The captain could still vaguely discern their original forms, though now several times larger and far more lethal.

The mutants had sharp fangs and claws, thick yellow fur, double eyelids to shield them from the wind and sand, and padded palms, allowing them to walk silently.

“Shoot!”

the captain commanded, firing rapidly with his submachine gun. The other members, less skilled than him, could only scatter fire.

The captain’s sharpness was excellent, and his bursts aimed at the eyes, and he managed to hit them. But the mutants relied on more than just their eyes to hunt; having lost their sight, they also relied on hearing, smell, and touch.

The savagery of the mutants was unleashed on this planet.

Their fur was thick, and bullets only caused them slight pain, making cold weapons ineffective. The pain

inflicted by the bullets inflicted a surge of irritation, and with a roar, they all leaped in unison, pouncing on the group.

As the survivors despaired, the mutants leaped into the air, suspended as if by invisible ropes, struggling but unable to exert their strength.

The life radar sounded another alarm, a small red dot approaching them.

“It’s not too late yet.” The voice arrived before the people, its gentle and calm voice a stark contrast to this world.

“This thick-armed creature isn’t a demonic beast, yet it’s stronger than ordinary beasts. It’s true there’s always something new to see.” Another voice echoed, seeming to be intrigued by the mutants, yet simultaneously dismissing their threat, revealing a powerful confidence.

“Don’t stand still just to create the illusion of a voice arriving before the people.” A third voice echoed, like a thousand-year-old ice, devoid of any life.

“Hurry up, everyone.”

“Oh.”

“Oh.”

Four people appeared before the survivors.

There was only one person on the life radar, yet there were four.

The person on the life radar was, of course, Qiu Langsha.

“Qiu Langsha?” The survivors recognized the celebrity, some of them even fans.

But in this day and age, meeting a celebrity wasn’t particularly exciting.

The survivors hadn’t known Qiu Langsha had been taken to another planet, otherwise their reactions wouldn’t be the same.

“It’s me.” Qiu Langsha was thrilled to see a fellow countryman and began recounting his experiences over the years.

Jiang Li and the other two were studying the mutant beast.

“A product of nuclear radiation? This is the first time I’ve seen one.” Jiang Li looked at the mutant beast as if it were a pig, suspecting it might not be very tasty.

The moment Jiang Li noticed this planet, he had already enveloped it with his spiritual sense, immobilizing any mutant beast that attempted to attack the survivors, like wax figures.

“I don’t know if it tastes good, but I know it wouldn’t taste good if you made it.”

“Screw you.”

Jiang Li and Bai Hongtu bickered, while Yu Yin watched coldly.

During the bickering, Qiu Langsha explained the whole story. The survivors finally understood who their enemy was and why the starry sky looked so different from their memories.

It turned out that a world had collided, and their planet, transported by an incomprehensible force, was transported to this world called Bahuang.

Jiang Li and the other two were from the world of Jiuzhou.

The concept of worlds colliding, of cultivating immortals possessing immense power, Bahuang, and Jiuzhou—these concepts were too vast for the survivors to comprehend, so vast that even seeing Jiang Li and the other two didn’t seem real.

They were all similar in size, yet these three could destroy everything in the world. It was unbelievable.

“Are they, are they really as powerful as you say? Can they defeat the Lord Dragon God?” the captain asked Qiu Langsha quietly.

“Lord Dragon God?” Qiu Langsha was startled. Though his cultivation was low, he had spent ten years in a major sect and knew the weight of this title.

“Yes, after the disaster, we survivors contacted each other. We heard that a monster claiming to be Lord Dragon God had appeared. Its appearance symbolized disaster, and the only way to quell the disaster was to offer human sacrifices and technological gadgets that interested it.”

“At first, we didn’t believe it, until we caught a glimpse of Lord Dragon God’s wrath from afar. When Lord Dragon God disappeared, we rushed to the shelter and found it deserted.”

“What did Lord Dragon God look like?”

“A large blue snake with four claws and no horns. We were so frightened at the time that we didn’t see more details.”

“Isn’t this the Dragon Star Lord?” Qiu Langsha knew who Lord Dragon God was the moment he heard it.

The Dragon Star Lord was a dragon in the Divine Transformation Stage.

Qiu Langsha hurriedly told Jiang Li the news, but Jiang Li wasn’t the least bit anxious. Instead, he smiled and said, “What a coincidence! The Dragon Star Lord is on this planet right now. He arrived earlier than us.” “

Where is he?”

“Above our heads.”

Qiu Langsha looked up suddenly. The sky suddenly grew dark. A blue dragon hovered overhead, blocking out the sunlight.

The blue dragon spit out its snake tongue and spoke in human language: “Humans, show me technology I haven’t seen before, or you will be my food!”

The survivors trembled in fear. The Lord Dragon God had actually descended here.

“No need to look for him everywhere. Come down.”

Jiang Li reached up into the air, grabbed downwards, and the dragon fell to the ground.
