Only at the Mahayana Stage Does the Reversal System Appear - Chapter 394
Chapter 394: I can’t fight this guy named Jiang Li
The leader could not imagine that he would be under surveillance one day. This method was too terrifying.
The leader had only seen someone beyond his knowledge once.
An alien from sixty years ago.
The leader looked like a middle-aged man, but his real age was unknown. He had absorbed the power of longevity and had a long life. He had even witnessed the rise and fall of feudal countries several times.
He walked on the edge of history and was the most mysterious person with superpowers. It was not until the world was unified and the modern society began that he set about establishing the Superpower Religion, intending to absorb all superpowers.
The alien called himself the Supreme Envoy of Duye. When the leader saw him, he felt that this person was unfathomable. His own experience of a thousand years seemed as immature as a child in front of him.
The Supreme Envoy of Duye just talked to the leader for a few words, encouraged him a few words, patted his shoulder, and disappeared.
What the leader didn’t know was that when the High Envoy of Du Ye first arrived in the Wei Gu world, he was struck by a scene of prosperity that made him feel uneasy. It was a stark contrast to his vision of crumbling mountains and rivers, withered and decaying everything. He considered reconsidering his plan and embarking on a new round of world destruction, but after meeting the leader, he changed his mind.
After two months of observation, the High Envoy of Du Ye saw that the leader was a powerful, ambitious, and willful psychic, unchecked, but with limited ruling power.
If such a person ruled the world, the Wei Gu world would inevitably fall apart, devastating all life.
Therefore, the High Envoy of Du Ye refrained from further action.
He longed for someone who would save him the trouble of destroying all life without his help, thus significantly reducing his workload.
Unfortunately, such people were few and far between.
Since the High Envoy of Du Ye, the High Envoy had encountered someone he couldn’t fathom again.
He suspected that these two people came from the same place as the High Envoy of Du Ye.
The leader used his supernatural powers to test the fate of the battle, but the result was blank. He had
also seen the same result when he tested the High Envoy of Du Ye.
The leader no longer held back, unleashing all his sixth-order supernatural powers.
He hadn’t used even a tenth of his power in his battle with the director-general.
“Ten Thousand Thunders Return to the Hidden!”
Dark clouds gathered, thunder rang in the air, and a cyan lightning bolt threatened to pour down, its magma thick enough to reduce an entire city to charcoal.
Jiang Li looked up, glared at the dark clouds, and they crumbled and dissipated.
“Eye of the Hurricane!”
A hurricane appeared in the sky, its center like an eye, raging with force 17 winds, as swift as a high-speed train. No building on land could withstand such force.
“Wind-Fixing Technique,” Bai Hongtu called softly, his mouth suffocating the hurricane.
“Rupture of Space!”
Space shattered like a spiderweb.
Jiang Li casually clapped his hands, and space became smooth as before.
“Sun!”
The blazing sun rose in the sky, cracking the earth and causing the grass and trees to wither and combust.
“Frost the Earth.” Bai Hongtu unleashed his Taoist magic, instantly freezing the imitation sun, even the flames within.
“Five hundred times gravity!”
Jiang Li moved naturally, completely unaffected.
“Nuclear fusion!”
The leader threw a stone lion, capable of inducing fusion reactions in anything it touched. The atomic nuclei within the lion collided, releasing terrifying energy and heat.
Bai Hongtu reached out and grasped the lion. The explosion occurred in his palm, not a single drop of force leaking out.
“Meteorite!”
With the leader’s roar, the causal relationship in the world quietly shifted. An asteroid’s orbit deviated, rubbing against the atmosphere, and hurtled towards Jiang Li, ablaze with light and fire. Jiang Li gently fanned the asteroid back to its original trajectory.
“Don’t embarrass yourself at this level!”
Bai Hongtu threw a punch. The leader used his spatial ability to create a small space in front of him, attempting to block Bai Hongtu. However, Bai Hongtu’s punch was too strong and powerful, breaking the small space and striking the leader in the chest, stopping his heart for a few seconds.
“You’re not even close? You want to rule the world with this level?”
Bai Hongtu scoffed.
The leader was sent flying. Jiang Li appeared behind him and, imitating Bai Hongtu’s punch, sent the leader flying back towards Bai Hongtu.
The leader flew between the two like a volleyball.
“You forced me to do this… ah, my tongue…”
The leader was furious, and just as he was about to say something, he bit his tongue.
“Have you ever fought someone and dared to talk during a fight?” Jiang Li and Bai Hongtu thought the leader had no common sense in combat.
You can’t talk during a fight, don’t use fancy moves, protect your storage ring, and don’t treat Jiang Li as an opponent.
Every Jiuzhou cultivator knew this.
The leader’s anger was ultimately effective. He used his extraordinary spatial ability to move a hundred meters away, allowing Jiang Li and Bai Hongtu to switch positions and attack him.
The leader kept changing positions, and the two men kept changing their targets. The director-general, watching from below, thought he was in a trance.
Was this still the lawless, invincible, and mysterious leader?
The leader changed his strategy and used his ability to “become invisible” to temporarily shield himself from being touched.
Bai Hongtu missed, allowing the leader to escape.
“This ability is very similar to my Taoist method of standing upright without a shadow.”
The leader panted heavily. His proud and strong body was like plasticine in front of these two people, being manipulated at will.
“It’s not fair for you two to fight me alone. If you have the guts, fight me one on one!”
The leader finally understood that he couldn’t take on two people at once. The only way was to defeat them one by one.
“Then who do you want to fight first?”
The leader looked at Bai Hongtu, then at Jiang Li.
Experience had taught him that the more eccentric a personality, the greater their power. Someone like Bai Hongtu, who was always laughing and joking, was terrifying; you never knew what he was up to. Conversely, someone as serious and normal as Jiang Li’s strength probably wasn’t much above average.
“Jiang Li, you’ll be my opponent,”
Bai Hongtu praised with a thumbs-up. “Good eyesight! You could tell at a glance he was weaker than me!”
Without a word, the leader produced two axe-splitting axes, enhanced by supernatural powers, from his personal space.
Jiang Li considered this, then, as a sign of respect, finished his candied haws, wiped the candy from his mouth, and fought with the remaining wooden sticks.
“Take my axe!” the leader shouted, gathering his strength and swinging his arms in a circular motion, swinging two axes.
Jiang Li strolled leisurely, deciphering the leader’s moves and casually blocking with his wooden sticks. The two axes collided, creating a sound louder than thunder.
The leader was astonished to discover that his axe had chipped the sticks, leaving them unscathed.
The leader panicked, his supernatural powers unleashing themselves, and with his mountain-splitting axe, he hoped to create a chance
of victory. However, no matter how hard the leader tried, Jiang Li acted effortlessly, unfazed.
The leader was furious, but it was no use.
Jiang Li thrust forward, piercing the leader through the heart.
This wasn’t a fatal wound for the leader. He clutched Jiang Li’s arm tightly, a smile curling his bloodied lips.
“Finally caught you, devouring supernatural powers!”
