Keyboard Immortal - Chapter 2825
Chapter 1338: Comparing Status?
Everyone was stunned. Who was Adrian? The promising young commander of the Knights Templar, a figure sought after by various factions.
This Zuan was someone no one had ever heard of before. If it weren’t for Miss Isabella’s fondness for him, in everyone’s eyes he would probably be a “country bumpkin” unworthy of even entering the Hall of Wealth.
And yet, this guy dared to throw wine in Adrian’s face?
He probably wouldn’t leave here alive.
Not only were the others stunned, but even Chu Chuyan and Isabella were dumbfounded.
Chu Chuyan never expected Zuan to be so impulsive, but almost instantly she was prepared for battle; they would all live and die together.
Isabella hurriedly looked towards her father in the distance; now, even with her influence, she probably couldn’t protect her brother Zuan.
Adrian’s eyes instantly turned red, and he gritted his teeth, saying, “You’re courting death!”
He then threw a punch directly at the other’s head, sparks flying from the friction between his fist and the surrounding air, like a falling meteorite, reaching his opponent in the blink of an eye.
Adrian’s anger level rose to +999+999+999…
Just when everyone thought Zaun’s head was about to explode, Adrian’s fist suddenly went limp, and he let out a strange sound: “Iku Iku!”
Iku Experience Card: A knife in the back doesn’t necessarily mean a knife, a heart-wrenching howl doesn’t necessarily mean pain, what you carry on your shoulders isn’t necessarily responsibility, and what you swallow isn’t necessarily a lesson!
Effective on males, allowing them to experience the perspective of a bullied female and shout “Iku Iku.” Ineffective for those without sexual experience.
Adrian had been about to throw a punch in anger, but suddenly an image of a large, black man pinning him down and relentlessly attacking him flashed through his mind. He was clearly very strong, yet he still couldn’t stop the other man.
That humiliation and shame, mixed with waves of trembling, soul-stirring cries, made him unable to hold back and let out the sound of “Iku.”
He knew he was finished the moment he uttered it; the persona he had painstakingly cultivated over the years was ruined in an instant. Unfortunately, he couldn’t control this impulse from the depths of his soul and kept shouting.
Hearing the whispers around him, he felt both mortified and ashamed.
Isabella’s mouth gaped open, wondering how her brother Zu had managed it.
Chu Chuyan, however, had a general idea of Zu An’s abilities, and a slight smile played on her lips; this guy not only killed but also wounded his spirit.
Zu An remained calm. He had faced a true god face-to-face, been considered a thorn in the side by the Annihilation, and had seen all sorts of storms.
He had to be subservient before a true god, but this young fellow dared to challenge him? He could
n’t even withstand a single experience card, which showed that his mental fortitude was far weaker than it appeared.
Just then, a roar came from the side: “Who dares to cast evil spells!”
A holy light shone in the hall, and a blond middle-aged man pointed a finger directly at Zu An.
He stood still, but that small finger seemed to cover the entire sky above Zu An’s head. The terrifying pressure instantly drained the surrounding energy, making it difficult for the target to breathe, let alone resist.
He was none other than Augustus, the Grand Master of the Templar Knights.
He hadn’t cared at all watching his son toy with the outsider, because in his eyes, the boy was utterly insignificant, easily dealt with by his son.
Isabella was just a young girl, misjudging him for a moment; she’d naturally forget about it after marrying his son.
So he was chatting with the elders of the Universal Merchant Guild, but who knew such an unexpected incident would occur, causing his son to lose face so badly.
Naturally, he was furious and immediately attacked the other party, killing him on the spot.
“Have mercy!” Aragorn was shocked and was about to stop him.
The First Elder, Oberon, blocked his way: “Third brother, don’t worry, Augustus will be careful and won’t hurt Isabella.”
Aragorn: “…”
Of course, he knew the other party wouldn’t hurt Isabella; he wanted to save Zaun.
Unfortunately, with the First Elder blocking him, it was too late to save her. He could only watch the figure with worry. If he died here, Isabella would probably hate him to death.
Chu Chuyan drew her longsword, her hair turning completely white, and a blizzard enveloped her. She was about to join forces with Zu An to block this terrifying attack, even if it meant death, she wouldn’t accept it.
Those around her were somewhat surprised. This beautiful woman possessed a unique aura; they couldn’t sense any true god’s presence within her. Had she become so powerful solely through her own efforts?
But what surprised them even more was what followed. Zu An stood motionless, reaching out to pull the girl beside him, seemingly gesturing for her to stay still.
Did he know he was doomed, so he gave up resistance, choosing to die alongside his beloved?
It wasn’t surprising that people thought this way, because Augustus, as the Grand Master of the Knights Templar, had slain countless powerful demons over the years, and frequently fought against the powerful figures under the command of the Extinction Army. He was a renowned figure throughout the myriad realms.
The young man opposite him, no matter how you looked at him, didn’t seem particularly powerful. For him, a flick of a finger was as easy as crushing an ant.
The next second, everyone froze, because a vast galaxy suddenly appeared before Zaun, and his destructive finger fell into it, instantly becoming still.
“The river of history, the indelible mark of the True God of Memory!” Some powerful figures who had been leisurely watching the show from the sofas stood up at this sight.
Zaun smiled slightly: “Are you trying to say that the followers of Memory are demons?” Augustus
‘s face instantly stiffened. Although he was a big shot in the Order faction, he dared not utter any disrespectful words towards another True God.
Isabella, worried about potential mishaps, hurriedly added, “Brother Zaun is also a messenger of Order.”
Hearing this, a murmur of whispers arose in the hall.
Compared to the esteemed Adrian, this unknown young man was nothing more than a nobody.
But knowing he was a messenger of Order, Adrian’s halos paled in comparison.
What was the young commander of the Knights Templar? A messenger of Order was someone who sat at the same table as his father; he had to show him the respect due to a junior.
If Zaun were merely a follower of Order, Augustus, in his capacity, could have simply wiped him out once he regained his senses.
But things were different now. Apart from the madmen under the command of Annihilation, no one was willing to kill a divine messenger; incurring the wrath of the true god was no joke.
Sure enough, Augustus, who had originally intended to make another move, hesitated.
At this moment, the Grand Elder Oblon said in a deep voice, “The Temple of Wealth is a place of Order; it’s probably not the place for those of Memory to swagger around here.”
He tapped his scepter, and a beam of light radiated outwards. Adrian, who had been trembling, finally recovered, rising to his feet, filled with shame and rage, his eyes blazing with venom as he glared at Zaun.
Adrian’s anger level increased by 1024…
