A middle-aged man stood in the study, wearing a high-collared robe adorned with various mysterious runes. His piercing gaze made him appear even more solemn and dignified.

“Father, this is Brother Zu. Brother Zu, this is my father.” Isabella lightly tapped her right foot on the floor, her expression a mixture of excitement and shyness.

“It’s truly rare for a young man not to be arrogant,” Aragorn smiled, then inquired about Zaun’s situation, even probing his hometown and origins—almost asking for his birth date.

Zaun felt strange, but since the other party was an elder, he answered politely, except for some sensitive information.

Aragorn was somewhat surprised, “Treasures that allow time travel are rare. According to the information from the Universal Merchant Guild, this is the only one. You must know that time travel is a realm only true gods can tread. However, the fact that you obtained such a treasure proves your great fortune; I suppose you should have opportunities to find other methods in the future.”

The Jade Essence Merchant Guild has it; I’ll give it to you next time you come to the guild. Zuan was overjoyed. “Such precious things! I don’t know how to thank Uncle.”

“Although these things are precious, they are nothing compared to saving Isabella,” Aragorn continued. “As for the third matter, it’s a bit troublesome.”

Zaun smiled at Isabella and then examined the card in his hand. It was entirely jade-green, like jade, yet very thin. It looked like some rare and valuable collectible cards from before his transmigration, but its quality was many times more precious.

At this moment, Aragorn’s voice rang out: “This is an extremely rare Emerald Card. It can turn living beings into cards. You should be able to use it to rescue your sister from the River of Oblivion, ignoring the laws of the river.”
