Chapter 1305:

Zuan had secretly observed that the man speaking with Patriarch Shi was a middle-aged man. The man who had been standing in the main hall before must be the Ming Cult’s Left Envoy of Light, whose surname seemed to be Yi or something. The

Left Envoy of Light was almost second only to the Patriarch, so it made sense that he had been personally brought to this forbidden area.

But who were the other people?

Patriarch Shi and Left Envoy Yi were equally shocked. “Who?”

Soon, several figures entered.

Zuan couldn’t help but glance at Isabella, as they were the Persians who had brought her here.

Isabella was also surprised. She could explain her visit as seeking the “Great Shift of Heaven and Earth,” but what were these people after?

She had been assigned to the Ming Cult. Regardless of what these Persians were planning, whether they succeeded or not, their presence in the forbidden area would make her life in the Cult difficult.

“King Treasure Tree, Three Envoys of Wind and Cloud, how did you get here?” Patriarch Shi’s eyes darkened. Without the Patriarch’s special permission, anyone who entered this secret passage would be dead.

Zuan surreptitiously surveyed the group. The male of the Three Wind and Cloud Emissaries had sinister eyes, while the female wore a veiled face, her figure considerably more voluptuous than that of a Central Plains woman.

He silently wondered if these weren’t the Three Wind and Cloud Emissaries depicted in “The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.” Their ages didn’t match; it seemed the Three Emissaries had always been two men and one woman.

“How could I have heard your plot to harm us if I hadn’t come in?” the

bearded leader sneered in broken Chinese. Yi Zuo Shi, the leader, flew into a rage. “Those who trespass on forbidden grounds will die. Don’t you know that?”

The Three Wind and Cloud Emissaries, who had been observing with aloof eyes, suddenly attacked. Yi Zuo Shi was a top-tier expert within the Ming Cult; otherwise, he wouldn’t have reached such a position.

Seeing the three’s attacks, he quickly defended himself. Unexpectedly, the three emissaries’ martial arts were incredibly strange, unlike anything he’d seen in his daily life. Furthermore, they specialized in combined attacks: one sweeping his legs, one grabbing his hands, and one attacking acupuncture points all over his body. They barely gave him a chance to react, subduing him.

The incident happened so quickly that even Cult Master Shi couldn’t come to the rescue in time.

Yi Zuoshi’s face was filled with shame, wishing there was a hole in the ground to crawl into. He had always been arrogant, believing that he was the most skilled martial artist in the entire sect besides the Cult Master, but he never expected to be defeated in a single encounter.

The opponent’s method was unknown, but strands of icy Qi penetrated his acupuncture points, causing him excruciating pain and preventing his Qi from flowing.

Zuan, however, could clearly see that the martial arts of the Fengyun Three Envoys were truly strange. If their martial arts were not significantly superior, they would easily have been killed by Chu Jian.

Patriarch Shi also had a serious expression on his face, and was obviously shocked by the martial arts of the three envoys of Fengyun: “What do you mean?”

The bearded King Baoshu laughed: “Patriarch Shi, we are doing this to protect ourselves, so that you won’t unite and kill us. You don’t have to worry about the safety of Envoy Yi Zuo. As long as you agree to surrender to Mongolia, you will still be my immediate superior in the future. How dare I offend you.”

Patriarch Shi’s face sank: “I have made this matter very clear before. I’m sorry that I can’t obey your order.”

“That’s a difficult matter.” The bearded King Baoshu shook his head. “Originally, someone from the Grand Master suggested taking it slow and let the Saint slowly search for the “Great Shift of the Universe”, but now it seems that it can be accomplished in one fell swoop.”

Zuan and Isabella looked at each other. It seemed that there were also disagreements within the Persian Ming Cult, and this King Baoshu probably supported other saints. This move was obviously intended to undermine Isabella’s mission.

Cult Leader Shi snorted coldly, “You truly have evil intentions. I only regret not acting sooner.”

He quietly moved away, secretly regretting his actions . The

Ming Cult was his home turf. No matter how skilled these men were, they couldn’t escape if they were all swarming. But in this forbidden area, other cultists couldn’t even set foot inside. If he died here for a hundred or eighty years, no one would likely notice.

The Persians had clearly guessed his intentions. The Three Wind and Cloud Emissaries formed various angles, blocking his path.

“Cult Leader Shi is so powerful, are you planning to escape?” The bearded Treasure Tree King said with a hint of sarcasm.

Cult Leader Shi snorted coldly and suddenly attacked the woman. He had seen through the combined attack of the Three Wind and Cloud Emissaries, so he planned to attack the weakest of the Huiyue Emissaries. If he could quickly defeat one of them, he would be able to break their formation.

But Huiyue Envoy was prepared. While dodging the opponent’s attacks with strange body movements, she teased, “Tsk tsk tsk, so Sect Leader Shi has taken a fancy to me. But Sect Leader, are you still okay at your age?”

Sect Leader Shi’s face turned ashen, and his attacks became more and more brutal. She soon had no time to tease him, and his expression became serious.

The other two, Liuyun Envoy and Miaofeng Envoy, rushed to rescue him. The three of them had been attacking together for a long time, and they had long been in sync with each other. When they displayed their martial arts , they were truly spooky.

Sect Leader Shi fought one against three, but he was not at all inferior.

“Hey, is this the legendary Great Shift of the Universe? It is indeed unpredictable.” The three envoys Fengyun and Yue gradually realized that their skills were being used to attack their companions, which meant that they did not consume much of the opponent’s strength, but rather the three of them were fighting each other.

The Stone Cult Leader snorted. The three men’s martial arts were truly bizarre. They were able to dodge from unbelievable angles, making his several well-aimed attacks fall flat. Thinking of the nearby Treasure Tree King, who was watching closely, he grew increasingly impatient.

Zuan watched for a moment, puzzled. The Stone Cult Leader was now in dire straits, yet the most brilliant martial art he had deployed was the Great Shift of the Universe. His other skills, while certainly not inferior, were hardly world-class arsenals.

What about the Great Nine Heavens Hand?

Remember, the later Ming Cult leader, Yang Dingtian, relied on the Great Nine Heavens Hand to defeat all opponents in the world—except Zhang Sanfeng.

Even Du’e, the head of the three great monks of Shaolin Temple, was blinded in one eye. He and his two fellow apprentices had spent decades in seclusion in Shaolin studying the Vajra Demon Subduing Circle, never daring to venture forth to seek revenge.

Why wasn’t the Stone Cult Leader using it?

Was he planning to surprise the Treasure Tree King later?

However, he quickly dismissed this speculation. King Baoshu seized an opportunity and suddenly struck Master Shi on the back.

Master Shi had intended to use the Great Shift of the Universe to redirect his punch towards the three envoys, Feng, Yun, and Yue, but he suddenly found himself unable to move. The Persians seized that momentary weakness and struck him at acupuncture points.

“Puff!”

Master Shi spat out a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground, unable to strike back.

“Master!”

Envoy Yi Zuo’s eyes raged, but he was powerless.

As if sensing Master Shi’s bewilderment, King Baoshu smiled and said, “The Great Shift of the Universe originated in our Persians. Although it has been lost, some fragments still exist. You must understand its properties. Moreover, you have only reached the peak of the third level and have not yet broken through to the fourth. How could you possibly deflect my attack?”

Master Shi’s face was ashen. His carelessness had led him to his own death.

“He’s probably carrying a manual like the Great Shift of the Universe. Huiyue Envoy, search him and find it.”

King Baoshu was worried that Shi Jiaozhu might still be able to strike back, so he didn’t want to take any chances.

“Yes!” Huiyue Envoy quickly searched Shi Jiaozhu’s body. “Despite his age, he’s still in pretty good shape.”

Then, her eyes lit up, and she held up a sheepskin. “Found it!”

King Baoshu was overjoyed and was about to grab it when a figure suddenly flashed by and snatched the sheepskin away.

He then saw a young man suddenly appear in the room, the sheepskin in his hand.

“Who are you?” King Baoshu was shocked and furious, wondering if there was another hidden master of the Ming Cult?

After all, the man had been hiding for more than a while, yet so many masters hadn’t noticed him.

Shi Jiaozhu and Yi Zuo Envoy also looked puzzled. He wasn’t a member of the Ming Cult? How could he be in this secret passage?
