Keyboard Immortal - Chapter 2743

1256: Awakening
Unable to locate Tingxue, the group decided to leave the area first.
Zaun had no choice but to follow the others, leaving signs along the way in the hope that Tingxue would follow them once free. They
soon retraced their route with the other guests and discovered that the strange reefs had indeed changed.
A man held a compass, the symbols on which shifted in the air. “This encryption method may be unbreakable by many civilizations, but it’s not a problem for me.”
He had been seriously injured on the ship, but with Isabella’s elixir, he quickly recovered. He had
embarrassed himself in front of the young lady before, and this time he was determined to redeem himself.
His hands flickered, fiddling with the golden symbols in the air.
The reefs ahead seemed to be affected, constantly shifting their positions.
The reefs shifted and reorganized, and gradually, a completely different path appeared before the group, while the reefs disappeared.
“You’re amazing!” Isabella couldn’t help but applaud and exclaim.
“It is truly an honor for the Divine Calculator to be admired by Miss Isabella,” the man offered Isabella a knight’s salute. Pretending she’d forgotten, he introduced his name again. “Speaking of which, all this is thanks to Miss Isabella’s miraculous medicine. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have recovered so quickly.”
Isabella smiled sweetly, “Now that we’re all in this together, it’s natural to help each other. Don’t take it too personally.”
A flicker of disappointment crossed the Divine Calculator’s eyes. She seemed to be treating him no differently than anyone else.
Thinking of the way she’d held Zaun’s arm affectionately, he figured it was Zaun’s recent success that had captivated the young lady. If he could shine brightly next, he’d also impress her.
So, he said bluntly, “This is my area of expertise. Let me lead the way.”
Without waiting for Isabella’s response, he strode forward with a relentless, unacknowledged stride.
Isabella stuck her tongue out at Zaun, clearly having seen this happen countless times and feeling helpless.
If someone was willing to take the lead, the others wouldn’t object.
Of course, the Divine Calculator wasn’t one to act rashly. He knew the dangers of walking ahead, so he worked his compass with both hands, sending streaks of golden light forward.
He turned to Isabella and smiled, “Miss, my divination skills are somewhat well-known. If anything were to happen, my compass would give us a heads-up.”
Zuan frowned, a faint sense of unease building within him. But he noticed the Divine Calculator’s expression remained calm. Was he overthinking?
Just then, the Divine Calculator suddenly paused, his entire body inexplicably stopping.
He turned around, puzzled. “Huh? Is there no way out?”
Seeing that there was still a path ahead, his eyes flashed with confusion, then a flicker of fear. “What’s that? Why can’t I move?”
The others, startled, stopped in their tracks. “What’s wrong with you?”
They saw him flailing about in place, seemingly unmoved.
“I feel like something’s sticking to me…” The Divine Calculator hadn’t finished his words when, with a whoosh, he was pulled up into the sky.
Everyone looked up, but it was pitch black, nothing visible.
“Everyone, be careful!” Yani said solemnly, and the others assumed combat stances.
A moment later, the Divine Calculator reappeared before them.
“Divine Calculator, what are you doing?” one of the guests couldn’t help but shout. After all, with their psychic senses, they couldn’t sense anything, and the Divine Calculator was standing there perfectly still, so there seemed no sign of anything wrong.
Hearing this, the Divine Calculator walked directly towards him.
“What are you doing? Get away!” The man jumped. The man’s gait was strange, eerie, and eerie.
Zuan said in a deep voice, “Be careful, he’s dead.”
As the Lord of the Netherworld, he was particularly sensitive to death.
“What?” Everyone was startled, for the Divine Calculator looked exactly the same as before, even moving freely.
At that moment, a strange smile suddenly formed on the Divine Calculator’s lips, and he lunged at the man.
Fortunately, Zaun had warned him, and the man was already prepared. He sent the divine fortune teller flying back with a single blow.
However, mid-flight, the divine fortune teller suddenly defied the laws of physics and returned.
His head had twisted to his back, his limbs twisted in an unusual position.
But he was incredibly fast, lunging at the man.
“Bang!”
Yani delivered a powerful punch, saving the man.
The divine fortune teller’s body was shattered.
But the next second, the shattered limbs suddenly reunited, forming a shattered divine fortune teller who charged relentlessly.
The sight sent shivers down everyone’s spine, and Isabella screamed in terror.
“Look out!” Alfred’s expression changed, and
he pushed Isabella out of the way. Then, like the divine fortune teller, he vanished in the next second.
“Uncle Alfred!” Isabella’s face paled.
“There’s something up there!” Zaun warned, but their spiritual senses were ineffective, detecting nothing.
Isabella reacted quickly, pulling something resembling a flashlight from her small bag. Turning it on, everyone felt as if they had seen the sun, a brilliant beam illuminating the entire space.
They finally saw what was overhead: a multicolored spider, the size of a football field!
The entire space was densely covered with transparent webs. Someone wondered what kind of flashlight Isabella had, capable of illuminating those transparent threads!
Everyone finally understood why the divine fortune teller had been so strange just now; it was all controlled by those transparent threads.
Everyone soon spotted Alfred, his muscles bulging. He looked nothing like his previous frail self, resembling the Incredible Hulk.
He struggled to resist the threads, trying to avoid being completely engulfed. However, even with all his might, he could only delay the process, not stop his fate.
Isabella also reacted quickly, pulling a pistol from her small bag and firing directly at the giant spider.
Obviously the pistol looked very small, but when the bullet was fired, there was a sudden sound of a phoenix, and then a huge firebird pounced on the spider.
Wherever it passed, even the spider silk seemed to melt.
The other guests were shocked. The power of this shot was comparable to many forbidden fire spells in the magical world.
“No!” Yani wanted to stop it, but it was too late.
Bang!
The firebird crashed into the spider, and blazing flames rose from the spider’s surface, but unfortunately they quickly disappeared.
Not a single hair on the spider’s body was burned.
The dozens of eyes on its body suddenly lit up, and an extreme pressure suddenly rose in the space.
Everyone’s hair stood on end, because this feeling was as if a true god had descended.
