Keyboard Immortal - Chapter 2722
Chapter 1235: The Young
Watching the footage playing on the screen, Fireworks couldn’t help but smile. “I didn’t expect Dreamland to invite her to film a promotional video. She’s the most popular actress in the Andromeda Region, but in my opinion, Sister Tingxue is even prettier.”
Tingxue glanced back at her and said, “You’re beautiful, too.”
Fireworks’ eyes lit up. “To receive compliments from Sister Tingxue is truly a blessing.”
Zuan thought that Fireworks was quite the sociable person. He didn’t bother to engage in the two women’s conversation. He went to the window and looked around.
In the distance, he saw a number of identical elevators descending simultaneously. If he hadn’t been watching outside, he wouldn’t have felt any vibration at all. He thought to himself, “Dreamland is a technological civilization.”
Their technology is truly advanced, capable of such grandiose projects, even surpassing those seen in some science fiction films of his past life.
He had wanted to examine the planet where Dreamland was located, but the surrounding shroud of colorful halos and clouds made it impossible to see the entire planet.
No wonder so many factions knew so little about Dreamland; it was truly a relentless pursuit of secrecy.
The fog got thicker as they went further in, and it was impossible to see outside, so Zuan simply sat down on a stool.
Listening to Fireworks chirping and Tingxue chatting about family matters wasn’t boring at all. Of course, Fireworks was the one talking most of the time, and I don’t know how she could have so much to say.
With a slight vibration, the elevator door opened.
“Dear guests, welcome to the Dreamland!”
There were already staff waiting outside.
A few people walked out and found that this should be a transportation hub, on the one hand to receive the space elevator in the sky, and on the other hand to pick up the guests.
“Dear guests, the Dreamland has three hotel styles for you to choose from, the hot beach, the quiet mountains, and the misty clouds. Which style would you like to stay in?” The staff saluted and introduced with a smile.
Zuan frowned. “Aren’t guests staying together?”
“Every guest has their own preferences, and we’ll naturally do our best to accommodate each guest’s individual needs,” the staff member explained. “Don’t worry, no matter which hotel style you choose, the only difference is the living environment and location, but the service is the same, and the information you receive is the same.”
Zuan thought the staff seemed to have anticipated everyone’s concerns.
“Of course, we’ll choose the hot beach. Only the beach feels like a vacation,” Fireworks said, her eyes gleaming.
“Okay,” the staff member said, looking at Tingxue and Zuan. “What about you two distinguished guests?”
“I choose…” Tingxue wasn’t finished when Fireworks interrupted her. “Sister Tingxue is with us, so of course she’ll choose the beach too.”
Tingxue opened her mouth but didn’t object.
Given her personality, she would have preferred either Gaoshan or Yunjian, but for some reason, she subconsciously avoided Yunjian. She was about to choose Gaoshan when Fireworks made the choice for her.
But to her, it didn’t matter where she went, so she didn’t bother to argue.
Zuan smiled, “If that’s the case, I’ll choose the beach, too.”
Upon hearing the two’s choice, Fireworks’ eyes widened.
“This way, distinguished guests.” Then, a staff member led them out of the building and into an open-top sightseeing jeep.
Looking at the blazing sun and the surrounding tropical trees, Zuan felt a sense of trance, as if he had returned to a past life.
Fireworks, even more excited, threw her arms wide and shouted from the car.
The staff drove steadily ahead, not reminding her to be careful. After all, these guests who had come from far away were all powerful, and even a head-on collision with a large truck would likely not harm them.
Tingxue, clearly a little uncomfortable with Fireworks’s enthusiasm, quietly moved aside, bringing her closer to Zuan. He felt a chill, a cooling sensation that eased the intense heat of the sun.
He sighed softly. Xuehen and Chuyan felt the same way. It was a shame he didn’t know when he would see them again.
Thinking of this, he hurriedly asked the staff member driving the car, “I heard that Dreamland can grant all kinds of wishes. Who should I consult?”
He wanted to know if it could help him save Chu Yan and so on, and if so, what the price would be.
“Don’t worry, dear guest. Go to the hotel and get some rest. We’ll make arrangements after the eldest lady’s coming-of-age ceremony,” the staff member replied with a smile.
“The eldest lady?” Zuan was startled.
“Yes, the precious daughter of the current owner of Dreamland will come of age in a few days. With you all here, it’s a perfect opportunity to attend her coming-of-age ceremony.”
Zuan frowned slightly. He wasn’t interested in the eldest lady, but rather felt a little annoyed at the delay. However
, Yanhua was excited: “Is your eldest lady beautiful?”
The staff member’s formulaic expression finally lit up: “The eldest lady is the most beautiful woman in Dreamland!”
“Really? Is she as beautiful as this sister?” Yanhua said, hugging Tingxue beside her.
The staff member glanced at Tingxue in the rearview mirror, their eyes filled with amazement. “As beautiful as this distinguished guest.”
“Tsk, you’re not going to offend anyone,” Fireworks snorted, a bit unconvinced.
Fearing she’d anger him, the staff member quickly changed the subject: “After the Young Lady’s Coming-of-Age Ceremony, this Dream Ceremony will be hosted by the Young Lady. She’ll be able to answer any questions you may have.”
Zuan knew this was an arrangement of the Dream Land. Asking questions now would yield no results. He’d have to wait until the ceremony took place.
The sightseeing bus soon reached a coastal highway, where the beach was filled with handsome men and beautiful women sunbathing, the waves surging in beauty.
Fireworks whistled. “Looks like I made the right choice after all. Let’s go to the beach together after we’re settled in.”
Zuan raised an eyebrow, his mind racing to the image of Fireworks and Tingxue in bikinis. His blood surged, and he couldn’t help but sigh, “What pigs are all men?”
Tingxue frowned slightly, but didn’t respond, clearly uninterested.
Soon, the sightseeing bus stopped at the entrance of a hotel. Looking at the magnificent exterior, Fireworks couldn’t help but exclaim, “It’s a bit tacky, but this sparkling scene is truly delightful.”
Zuan was shocked by the hotel’s sheer size. Even with his divine sense, he couldn’t perceive its entirety. It was as if it weren’t just a hotel, but a world unto itself.
“Everyone, please come this way,” Zuan observed as a staff member led the way. “Dear guests, please register at the front desk with your invitation.”
As they entered the hotel, a commotion erupted from the front. A guest fumbled about, “My invitation was just stolen!”
