Keyboard Immortal - Chapter 2710

1223: Die Together
Just as the tentacles were about to engulf Zuan, several red firecrackers suddenly rained down from the sky.
Their timing and direction were strategic, landing squarely on the tentacles.
The moment they made contact, they exploded, instantly disintegrating the tentacles into a cloud of blood.
Zuan looked up, seeing the bright smile of the red-clad girl, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart. Whatever her motives, she had certainly helped me.
Then, the octopus banshee let out a sharp blast, and her tentacles quickly retracted in pain.
These fireworks were no simple firecrackers. Their inflated flames were fueled by her very essence and blood, continuing to burn towards her body.
This forced her to take the drastic measure of severing the tentacles completely.
Unlike the severance she had suffered from 9527’s lightsaber, that damage hadn’t significantly impacted her recovery.
However, the damage from the firecrackers prevented the tentacles from growing again.
“Damn girl!” The octopus banshee’s eyes were filled with resentment. One tentacle hooked on the ceiling, and she pounced on Fireworks like Tarzan.
“Watch out!” Zuan tried to help, but was stopped by the silver claws of the bird-headed monster.
The bird-headed monster laughed heartily: “Second sister, please have mercy. Don’t kill such a beautiful girl. I’ll give her a good beating later.”
The octopus banshee snorted coldly: “Aren’t you afraid that this damn girl’s firecracker will blow your thing off?”
The bird-headed monster laughed lewdly at this: “Wouldn’t that be even more exciting?”
Firework’s eyes froze, but his face was smiling: “Since you like it, I’ll give you two.”
As he spoke, two lit firecrackers were thrown towards each other, one after the other.
The bird-headed monster shrugged, “Even the beauty’s firecrackers are so beautiful!”
He extended his silver claws and lashed out at the two firecrackers. Suddenly, the firecracker behind it accelerated and slammed into the one in front, causing it to change its trajectory. Its speed was so incredible that the bird-headed monster couldn’t react, and it landed squarely on his leg.
He screamed in agony. Having learned his lesson from the octopus banshee, he didn’t hesitate. He immediately ripped off the section of pants, tearing off a large piece of flesh along with it, leaving a bloody mess.
Fireworks clapped his hands and laughed, “Isn’t that exciting enough now?”
The bird-headed monster’s expression twisted, “Bitch, I’ll make you wish you were dead in a moment. Ouch…”
He screamed again, having lost his focus for a moment and let Zuan take advantage.
Although he managed to avoid the vitals, Zuan still chopped off one of his arms.
“Your opponent is me!” Zuan snorted, a Tai’a sword already in his hand.
“Brother Zu, great!” Fireworks beamed. It seemed he wasn’t too heartless to vent his anger on me.
The octopus banshee was secretly horrified. The girl, despite her attacks, still had the energy to attack Third Brother and Chat. She took no chances, saying, “Third Brother, hurry up and take care of that brat. Then we’ll deal with this bitch together.”
“Alright!” the bird-headed monster gritted its teeth, and quickly regenerated another arm.
Zuan frowned. These monsters were incredibly resilient.
Even in the spiritual world, limbs can regenerate after reaching a certain level, but this often requires months of rest. This speed was simply appalling.
“Brother Zu, be careful! These monsters can only be truly killed by destroying their energy cores. In your language, they’d be called demon cores or something similar. The location of each monster’s demon core is different,” Fireworks warned.
The octopus banshee was furious. “You little brat, you’re too noisy!”
Tentacles lashed out at her, but Firework, like a nimble bird, found the gaps between the tentacles and slipped through.
She attacked for a long time, but didn’t even touch the edge of the monster’s clothes.
The octopus banshee was secretly alarmed. This girl seemed so effortless, and she wondered what her true strength was.
Fortunately, the opponent seemed to be more playful and had no intention of going all out.
She decisively abandoned the idea of a quick attack and instead planned to hold her back, waiting for her companions to arrive and then, together, capture the girl.
The fourth brother was clearly no match for number 9527, but they should be able to hold him back for a while.
Meanwhile, the third brother was clearly stronger than the boy, yet why couldn’t he be defeated? Instead, he seemed to be showing signs of defeat.
However, her men had the upper hand against the Universal Chamber of Commerce staff. This time, the Universal Chamber of Commerce had not deployed many combat personnel.
Besides, the boss hadn’t even made a move yet.
Number 9527 was now shouting at the staff, “How did these guys get in? Why aren’t the starship’s defenses working?”
Normally, when the Chamber of Commerce’s starship was traveling in space, the enemy would be detected from a considerable distance.
The starship had powerful defenses and firepower, more than enough to eliminate many intruders from a safe distance.
Yet, the starship’s defenses never sounded an alarm, only detecting the enemy inside.
There could only be one explanation: there’s a traitor!
Who could it be? Could a staff member have been bribed by the enemy?
Two more people appeared on the platform: the old woman with the pus-filled face and the wheelchair-bound Burning Knight.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, it’s quite lively,” the old woman’s voice rasped louder than a crow’s.
“It’s certainly lively,” the Burning Knight observed, the two will-o’-the-wisps flickering in his eyes, a truly eerie sight.
The old woman then addressed Number 9527, “It seems you can’t resolve this problem. Would you like my help?”
Number 9527, realizing the situation was slipping beyond his control, replied, “If you’re willing to lend a hand, the Universal Chamber of Commerce would be deeply grateful!”
“Haha, I’m not interested in these empty tokens of gratitude. If you want me to help, just promise what I promised you last time,” the black-robed old woman said coldly.
Number 9527 hesitated. The item they wanted was far too precious…
But the occasional screams of his colleagues around him solidified his resolve. If those monsters succeeded this time and the starship was stolen, even if he escaped with his life, his future would be ruined. “Okay, I promise.”
“You’re wise. Haha, so many lives are perfect for refining my new medicine.” The black-robed old woman opened her hands, muttering something. Soon, black mist enveloped her.
Puff!
She suddenly shuddered. Looking down, she saw a bloody spearhead piercing her chest.
Glancing back in disbelief, he saw the other end of the lance clasped in the wheelchair-bound Burning Knight’s hand.
“Why?” the black-robed old woman asked, her voice a mixture of shock and bewilderment.
“How could I let you ruin my plans?” the Burning Knight said calmly.
Glancing at the monsters fighting below, the black-robed old woman suddenly realized, “So they’re your men. In that case, let’s all die together.”
With that, her body exploded, transforming into a dense black mist that rapidly spread in all directions.
