Chapter 50: The Pill is Complete, Part Two of Ten Fresh Things (Please Read on Tuesday)

Arriving at the small courtyard halfway up the mountain,

Lu Qing was surprised not to see his master practicing his boxing in the open space in front of the door.

He looked inside and found the medicine room door still closed, a faint aroma of medicine wafting from within.

The old doctor realized something was amiss.

“Master, is there something wrong with this?” Lu Qing asked humbly.

“But what?”

Lu Qing asked hurriedly, noticing the old doctor’s serious expression.

“Don’t tell anyone about the strange fish hidden in the river outside this village,” the old doctor said solemnly. “Strange fish are rare and extremely valuable. If the news leaks out, it won’t necessarily be good for the village.”

Lu Qing understood his master’s meaning.

The old doctor didn’t feel sorry.
