CHAPTER 1619: THE VAST OCEAN WITHIN CIVILIZATION, UNWILLING TO LEAVE THE HOUSE WHEN NIGHT FALLS.

The Three-Headed Master opened his mouth and said,

“So what is this supreme Chaos Law within?”

“I seem to sense something special within this darkness, something that can suppress us,”

the Power Master said in surprise.

The Three-Headed Master glanced at him and explained, “This supreme Chaos Law is easily sensed; it represents eternal lifespan. Once living beings enter this island from this point, they will all receive the protection of this supreme Chaos Law. Some old geezers with limited lifespans, if they can find this point to enter the ocean, can avoid the erosion of their lifespan. When they sense a great change in the environment outside the ocean, they will come out.” “

Of course, this also has drawbacks. Living beings on this island cannot use their cultivation, and naturally, they cannot break through to the next realm by doing so.”

“Similarly, here we are all ordinary people, unless we are strong enough to break the supreme chaotic rules within the ocean.”

The Power Master and the Qiankun Ancestor were both surprised to hear this, not expecting such a strange place to exist within the ocean. If they had known about it beforehand, it might have truly allowed some old geezers to find a way to escape their tribulations.

“Of course, this is just the first special characteristic. In fact, from a certain perspective, the ocean still has many dangers, it’s just that this particular spot is relatively safe,”

the Three-Headed Master continued.

Both nodded slightly.

Here, they were like ordinary people again, without that invincible aura that could be seen and understood by those ahead. They walked down the cave, step by step, towards the foot of the mountain.

At first, the Power Master and the old man of the universe truly thought that the Three-Headed Master’s words contained a hint of joking, but after taking a few steps, they began to feel waves of exhaustion and pain, as if they had truly become ordinary people, breathing heavily, their legs aching, and even feeling a little panicked by the surrounding poisonous insects, snakes, and mosquitoes.

This feeling shocked and astonished them. They were once pioneers, standing at the pinnacle of the vast universe, unmatched by anyone throughout history, yet on this island, they had suddenly become insignificant mortals.

They would get sick, weaken, and panic… except for possessing endless lifespan.

“Isn’t it true that here, if we encounter even a dangerous wild beast, we could also risk our lives?”

Suddenly, the Power Master thought of this possibility, and his expression changed slightly. Just now, on the way down the mountain, the two of them had even seen several skeletons, which they initially thought were nothing unusual.

However, if they considered it from a different perspective, could it be that these were also the remains of peak-level powerhouses who had once set foot on this island, become trapped within it, and thus lost their lives?

The Qiankun Ancestor also felt a bitter taste in his mouth; this was truly an indescribable feeling. He was one of the oldest chaotic ancient beings in this chaotic era, born with unparalleled power, and had never experienced such a small and weak state before.

The Three-Headed Master smiled and said, “This is natural. That’s why the initial life force fluctuations we felt were enough to take our lives. We need to be careful. If we can reach the shore before dark, then we can proceed to the next stage.”

“Before nightfall?”

“Could it be that this island, above the supreme Chaos Law, has some kind of theory?”

The Power Lord and the Qiankun Ancestor both slightly changed their expressions, glancing at the sky. Outside this boundless sea, a large, ever-growing circle hung high, mercilessly emitting light that continuously scorched the surroundings.

If they hadn’t actually set foot here, who could imagine such a scene in the middle of the ocean?

“That’s not it, but after nightfall, this place will become even more dangerous. Those wild beasts love to lurk at night.”

The Three-Headed Master said with a smile. As he spoke, he calmly continued walking towards the foot of the mountain.

The Power Lord and the Qiankun Ancestor hurriedly followed.

They tried to sense the existence of a vast map of the world, but quickly discovered that in this ocean, they couldn’t contact that map. In other words, they couldn’t directly transmit the situation in the ocean to it from this location; they could only do so after they left.

This left the two of them somewhat disappointed.

Meanwhile, as they were traveling through this area, deep in the ocean, in a seemingly pristine and lush ancient forest, a young man with a bronze complexion and a belt made of animal skin was chasing a rhinoceros. The

rhinoceros was covered in heavy armor, and as it ran, the entire forest seemed to rumble and shake, like a small mountain itself.

The young man, with his disheveled hair and clear, dark eyes like black gemstones, exuded an indescribable simplicity. His swift, meteor-like footsteps stirred up gusts of wind, causing the forest to tremble and sand to churn. He quickly untied several bone arrows from his waist

, drew his bow like a full moon, the bowstring like thunder, and fired, piercing through the forest and striking the rhinoceros. The very air seemed to rumble. With

a whoosh, the bone arrow easily penetrated the rhinoceros’s outer armor, directly embedding itself inside. The rhinoceros let out a pained scream, its mountain-like body collapsing with a thud.

“Lately, the wild animals in the Cloud Forest have become increasingly scarce. Even the heavily armored rhinoceroses are almost nonexistent. What exactly is happening?”

“Winter is coming soon, the snow is about to fall, the most difficult and perpetually freezing season is approaching. If we don’t have enough meat, this winter will be very difficult to endure, and who knows how many more people in the village will die.”

The young man looked at the fallen rhinoceros, put away the bone arrows at his waist, muttered a sentence, then walked over, took out a bone knife, and prepared to cut the rhinoceros meat. As he cut the rhinoceros’s scales, he frowned and looked at the long mountain range stretching out beyond the forest, his eyes filled with sorrow.

In the distance, the mountains were shrouded in deep, swirling mist, and the sky was a vast expanse of swirling white snow, like a boundless snowfield hanging upside down, the raging snowstorm about to sweep through this forest.

“Wait until the impending eternal winter, when the land will be covered in a vast expanse of white snow. All the wild animals will flee or freeze to death beneath the ice and snow. Who knows how many people in their village will starve to death then?

” “I wonder where we’ll end up after crossing that boundless frozen land. Grandpa, the village chief, said that the outside world is even more dangerous, with unimaginable disasters.”

“Like ice and snow, and hurricanes, these are considered the greatest threats to our small village.”

“Grandpa, the village chief, said that outside there are cultivators who can fly and teleport. Legend says such cultivators can burn the heavens and boil the seas with just a thought. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen one.”

“If we could see such a cultivator and become his disciple, then our village would surely have more than enough food, and A Mu and Grandma wouldn’t starve.”

The young man sighed, then gripped his bow and arrows tightly, gathered the rhinoceros meat, slung it over his shoulder, and hurried back in the direction he had come from.
