Chapter 2052 Chapter 247 Gift

The Holy Slave was disbanding?

Because Shou Ye was only second-in-command within the Holy Slave?

The rest of the Holy Slave group could only respect the Eight Zun An, not Shou Ye, after all, they were all brought up by the Eight Zun An .

This perfectly fulfilled Dao Qiong Cang’s idea for giving the Threesome a nickname: from now on, everything would be integrated into the First Floor of Heaven, with Xu Xiaoshou as the leader?

Xu Xiaoshou frowned at this.

He couldn’t help but ponder. Even if he was open-minded and didn’t mind at all, the Eight Zun An’s message was clear.

He had even wanted to push himself forward as the “boss” of the Threesome, so he must be willing to hand over his “military power” now.

Even though the Holy Slave seemed weak now, this was an expression of deep trust.

Crucially, Xu Xiaoshou didn’t want the Holy Slave group to disband.

He had a favorable impression of the Holy Slave group, not only because they were all talented, but also because he had received considerable support along the way.

If they disbanded, where would these people go?

Parting ways with the Eight Zun’an? Clearly, past ties are difficult to sever.

Even if they disbanded publicly, they remained united and inseparable. This made it seem as if the rise of the First Floor in Heaven forced the disbanding of the Holy Slaves.

Even more absurd!

Xu Xiaoshou even wanted to use Dao Qiong Cang, so how could he not accommodate a Holy Slave?

Furthermore, from the very beginning, his First Floor in Heaven had no connection with the Holy Slaves Eight Zun’an or Dao Qiong Cang of the Heavenly Secret Divine Sect, and he did not want them to join.

Upon hearing the voice, he rejected it without hesitation:

“The Holy Slave cannot be disbanded. The Holy Slave is not only an organization, but also represents the spirit of resistance.”

“Besides, I have worked so hard to get the position of second in command and squeezed the old man out. You say to disband it, so have you asked the former second in command what he thinks?”

Ba Zun’an was stunned for a moment, but he went straight to the point: “Those people can only follow me, you can’t use them at all.”

“I didn’t want to use them either!” Xu Xiaoshou laughed immediately, knowing that Lao Ba was really sticking to a dead end:

“I have a Li Fugui in the intelligence world, which is enough. I can use Zhu Yike in combat. If anyone else is needed, I will provide the resources and let them train themselves, so they can be used more easily.”

“The magic potion and the evil way have all been eliminated. You and I don’t have to focus on the Xingjie or the New Heavenly Realm in the future. This is our back garden. We have to look higher, the Heavenly Realm and above the Heavenly Realm.”

Before Ba Zun’an could speak, someone was unhappy.

“Hey, hey, hey, I’m still here.”

Dao Qiongcang was nearly exasperated. “Why are you lumping me in with the Demonic Medicine Demon? We’re good friends now. It’s not ‘you’ who should focus on the Heavenly Realm and beyond, but ‘the three of us’ together.”

“Also, please let me out first. I only have one brand, and it’s easy for you to overlook my existence!” Dao Qiongcang wanted to live.

Xu Xiaoshou casually concocted a crude version of the Heavenly Secret Puppet and gave it to Dao Qiongcang as a body.

It wasn’t that the old Taoist couldn’t come out on his own, but he hadn’t given him permission. While he was nominally “the three of us,” he didn’t dare to act recklessly.

Now that he had permission, the memory brand, drawing on Xu Xiaoshou’s life force, quickly transferred his will to the Heavenly Secret Puppet, giving it a human form.

“Alive!”

From brand to restored human form.

While this was only the first step in resurrection, it meant Xu Xiaoshou’s resentment was completely resolved, allowing him to embrace a bright future.

Dao Qiongcang was too excited. The first thing he did after recovering was to join the discussion. He pointed at the Eight An and cursed them in a veiled manner:

“You are a bit stubborn, or short-sighted!”

“Neither of you has ever been to the Heavenly Realm. You probably don’t know that the various ancestral gods in the Heavenly Realm are basically lone wolves. It is difficult to trust others, just like the Demonic Medicine Demon.”

“There are very few people who have such a close relationship as the three of us. At most, Shi Mingnu is one. Unfortunately, Shizu and Mingzu are no longer here, and Nuzu is left alone.”

After a pause, Dao Qiongcang spoke in the tone of an experienced person:

“Becoming one family is the most foolish choice. It is huge, but complicated, with intrigues and struggles among each other, and it is difficult to manage.”

“But if we split into three families, each will be free. As long as we turn our focus not inward but outward, even if we reach the Heavenly Realm, there will not be many who can deal with us.”

Dao Qiongcang looked at the Eight An and said seriously:

“Why should the Holy Slaves be disbanded?”

“As Master Shou said, a Saint Slave is a spirit, one I also aspire to.”

“You will continue to lead your Saint Slave, while Master Shou will develop His First Heavenly Tower. It just so happens that I also want to plant the banner of the Heavenly Secret Divine Sect throughout the Heavenly Realm and its subordinate planes.”

“If you two want to ask for my opinion, I think this is the most foolproof plan, right?”

This time, even Xu Xiaoshou nodded. Dao Qiongcang, even if he had lost a trillion Heavenly Secrets brain, his foresight remained.

He presumably had just said, “Diligently practice the ancient sword art,” and he had foreseen the formation of the new Heavenly Realm, or the events that followed the return of the past Heavenly Realm.

But…

“Who asked for your opinion?” Xu Xiaoshou rolled his eyes.

“Then express my opinion,” Dao Qiongcang spread his hands. “I can’t possibly not even have the right to speak, can I?”

Seeing Ba Zun’an’s expression of approval, Dao Qiongcang took a step forward, taking the sword thought from his hand.

“So, Master Ba, let’s not mention this matter again. The Sacred Slave cannot be disbanded.”

“It’s most appropriate for me to keep this sword thought and the command within it.”

“If one day in the future you dare treat my Xu badly, I will summon this sword thought and disband your Sacred Slave, hehe.”

He said with a smile, and thrust the sword thought into his own body.

Forcing such a powerful sword thought into such a frail body was completely out of place. It was only because Ba Zunan didn’t activate it, otherwise Dao Qiongcang’s new body would have shattered.

“What are you doing!” Xu Xiaoshou’s face darkened. “Who told you to keep the sword thought?”

This arrogant old Taoist was truly adept at taking advantage of others’ situations. It wasn’t even clear if he was doing it on purpose or subconsciously wanting to hide something.

A severed hand about to touch the Eight Zun An could truly summon them.

Who knows what this sword thought could do to Dao Qiong Cang? It could be a foreshadowing of benefiting him at the expense of the Holy Slave, the first floor in heaven.

How could Xu Xiaoshou stand by and watch the frivolous old Taoist do such a thing? “Hand it over!”

“Okay,”

Dao Qiong Cang said calmly, handing the sword thought to Shou Ye.

Seeing him shatter the sword thought with a single blow, his face was filled with helplessness and regret, and he muttered, “What a wonderful sword thought! It shatters so easily. At the critical moment, maybe it can become my great summoning technique.”

Want to learn the Great Summoning Technique?

Go find Xiang Yaoyao and become his disciple!

Xu Xiaoshou shattered Dao Qiongcang’s new body with a single blow, preventing him from replicating anything after coming into contact with the sword’s will.

He then fashioned a new body for the saucy old Taoist. Ignoring his resentful glare, he looked back at the Eight Zun An:

“It’s our own business.”

“I’ll call you Brother, and you call me Master.”

“The Holy Slaves can be in the New Heaven Realm, in the Xing Realm, or anywhere else you wish, but they cannot be disbanded.”

The Eight Zun An ignored Dao Qiongcang’s words. Xu

Xiaoshou took them in, and after a moment’s reflection, he smiled and nodded.

“Okay,”

his figure grew dimmer.

The Eight Zun An didn’t have much time left.

That was all he had to say for now. Seeing the matter was settled, he prepared to say goodbye.

“Don’t leave yet!”

Dao Qiongcang squatted on the ground, drawing an indistinct pattern with a branch.

Not a single trace of spiritual energy remained within him, so weak that he couldn’t even render the Heavenly Secret Pattern in three dimensions.

After finishing the drawing, he tossed the branch and, without turning back, waved to the two:

“Come here.”

Xu Xiaoshou crouched forward, wondering what the flamboyant old Taoist was tinkering with.

Ba Zun’an also glanced over and saw a crudely drawn tavern on the ground, with a flag in front.

“Sifang Si,”

Dao Qiongcang rubbed his hands together, excited like a child playing house.

He pointed at the tavern on the ground and turned back, his eyes filled with eagerness: “How is it, how is it?”

Both were stunned. Xu Xiaoshou couldn’t help but ask:

“What is it?”

“Just, the name!”

“The three of us?”

“Of course, could it be that when you, Master Shou, ascend to the Heavenly Realm, you’ll also be calling it ‘the three of us’?”

The Heavenly Realm hadn’t been found yet.

There was still no news about the New Heavenly Realm.

Dao Qiongcang’s mind had been preoccupied with the Heavenly Realm, or perhaps the future beyond it, from beginning to end. Xu Xiaoshou noticed something strange, and for good reason.

“Why is it called ‘Four Directions Si’?”

“Hehe…”

“Tell me or not!”

“Hehe…”

“Do you believe I’ll beat you to pieces?”

“No, Master Shou, the secrets of Heaven cannot be revealed~”

Dao Qiongcang squatted, his smile a frivolous and shameless one, and he would never tell anyone, even if he died.

Xu Xiaoshou also squatted, fists clenched, staring at this bastard, as if he

were about to hit him. Ba Zun’an stood behind the two of them, watching the scene, feeling an inexplicable sense of absurdity. Was it really right to join these two?

“We, it seems, are only three of us?” He asked aloud.

Dao Qiongcang turned his head: “Two generations of Sword Immortal Qiu Wuqi, nine holy slaves and eleven members.”

Ba Zun’an: “…”

Is that the way it’s supposed to be… Xu Xiaoshou felt it wasn’t that simple: “Then why can’t it be ‘Five Directions Si’, or ‘Five Circles Si’?”

“Hehe~”

Dao Qiongcang’s lips had just curled.

Xu Xiaoshou punched him, blasting his head.

But this fellow had somehow cultivated his first wisp of spiritual power. His head shattered, his body still alive. A mouth sprouted from beneath his navel, and he whimpered,

“Master, please don’t hit me, and don’t ask any more questions.”

“Let me keep you in suspense. Just think of it as a ‘gift.'”

“Perhaps ten years from now, or perhaps a hundred thousand years from now, when you accidentally open this gift, I’ll be even more surprised than I am now.”

How could I wait that long?

Xu Xiaoshou felt suffocated if he didn’t ask for the answer. Perhaps Dao Qiong Cang was up to something again, even if it seemed like just a name.

“Let’s call him ‘Four Directions Si’!”

Ba Zun An called out. He could no longer hold out and had to leave.

Across countless time and space, humans didn’t know whether they were in the past or the future. The effort of sending a single wisp of consciousness was already enormous.

If I dwell on this trivial matter, the risk would be too great if my own strength were exhausted. It wasn’t impossible that I would perish on the journey home.

These matters could be discussed later, upon my return.

“Master Shou occasionally opens the Long River of Sword Dao to guide me. I can see it, but Dao Qiong Cang is fine. I don’t need to remember the guidance.” Eight Zun An was so blurred that it was almost unrecognizable, just a cloud of mist.

Can you see it?

Xu Xiaoshou was startled, opened his mouth, and finally uttered, “Okay.”

Then He remembered something: “By the way, I’ll give you a time and space coordinate. If you’re passing by on your way back, you can go there and help me check it out.”

“Okay.”

Xu Xiaoshou then ferryed him to the approximate coordinates of the voice he had sensed when the Ming Dao Hua Hai was complete.

It was an extremely large area, and finding the person would probably take a lot of effort. If they could meet, that would be great; if not, it would be fine.

“Who?”

Old Eight’s voice was already indistinct, as if it were about to fade away with the wind.

“An ant,” Xu Xiaoshou said casually. “Someone I met at the ultimate level of Yi Dao said he wanted to challenge you, so I agreed on your behalf.”

Eight Zun An fell silent. It was unclear

whether he was unable to speak, or if he sensed a pitfall and didn’t fully believe it.

“That’s right!”

Xu Xiaoshou stood up suddenly, remembering something extremely important: “Don’t go yet, tell me first, who is the Sixth Saint Slave!”

“Ah——”

Dao Qiongcang also stood up, and bowed deeply in the direction where Ba Zun’an disappeared, his voice so high that it broke:

“Farewell, Master Ba Zun’an——”

That’s it.

Interrupted by this.

Ba Zun’an couldn’t even utter the final answer, and he left.

Xu Xiaoshou turned his head and pointed at the guy’s belly button: “It’s definitely not you!”

A mouth opened under the belly button, and he said: “What are you talking about, Master Shou, if the Sixth Saint Slave is not me, could it be Kui Leihan?”

This finger was about to turn into a finger of disillusionment.

Dao Qiongcang hugged his head and fled: “Don’t fight, Master Shou, give me strength first, let me get a few people back for you from the black memory!”

This is a serious matter.

Under the blood demon catastrophe, the Xingjie couldn’t even save the ancestral tree Long Xing, and they were all moved into the black memory by Dao Qiongcang, and they achieved eternal life in an alternative way.

Without a large amount of life energy to nourish them, it would be difficult for these people to come back.

And after fighting with Sheng Xin all the way, Xu Xiaoshou had emptied out everything, and now there is not a drop of life medicine pool energy left.

He couldn’t provide so much energy in a short period of time to bring back everyone in the Xingjie, but he could still bring back some.

“Hurry up.”

The two of them were on Heting Mountain. As soon as they provided energy and started to create humans, they suddenly became busy again.

The process of creating humans is very long.

Dao Qiongcang obviously knew what was most important, and he selectively brought back the Xingjie high-level people related to Xu Xiaoshou from the black memory.

Including but not limited to Shouye, Mu Zixi, Yu Zhiwen, Mo Mo, Zhou Tianshen, Zhu Yike, Li Fugui, Long Xing, Yuegongnu, Xiao Wanfeng, Mei Siren, Sang Qiye, Xiao Kongtong, Ye Xiaotian, Yu Mo, Yu Lingdi, Rao Yinyin, Ah Bing, Ah Huo…

They were created simultaneously, in no particular order.

These individuals weren’t directly located near Heting Mountain, but rather based on their respective locations when the Black Memory was contained within the Xing Realm.

The first group returned, while the second continued.

Meanwhile, Dao Qiongcang expended some of his energy meticulously recovering previously prepared locations, not just individuals, but also specific locations within the Black Memory.

These included but were not limited to the Xing Realm’s Yujing City, Shennong Herb Garden, the pond where Jinren fished for poisonous fish, the Holy Spirit Continent’s Tiansang Ling Palace, the Eight Palaces, the Yunlun Mountains, the Pilgrimage Tower in Dongtianwang City, the former headquarters of the First Tower in Heaven, and the Jiang assassins imprisoned there, providing energy for the formation.

Familiar people returned one by one.

Familiar places reappeared one by one.

From sunrise to dusk, Dao Qiong Cang constantly recalled people and events, while Xu Xiaoshou silently watched.

His ocean of consciousness and perception was immense, and he simultaneously observed both worlds. He could see Dao Qiong Cang’s meticulous attention, clearly recalling everything he had cared about and overlooked.

Xu Xiaoshou’s heart was filled with fervor.

After defeating Sheng Xin, the divine war was over, and everything was settled.

His first thought wasn’t to discuss “Saint Slave” or “Four Directions Si,” but to return to see the people he wanted to see.

But now, watching these familiar people being brought back one after another, scenes flashed through his mind, and Xu Xiaoshou felt a heavy heart, afraid to set out.

It was like a dream.

Everything seemed real, yet also like it was false. It felt

as if the war was over and he could begin anew, but also as if if he truly set out, everything would come to an end.

“It’s really over…” Xu

Xiaoshou stood atop Heting Mountain, letting the night wind lap at his cheeks, a little lost in thought.

He opened his eyes wide, gazing at the shattered mountains and rivers, clearly contrasting the desolate present with the beautiful memories. There   was a soft splash of water.   Xu Xiaoshou watched as several plump geese emerged from the Goose Lake of Tiansang Linggong, as if they had been holding their breath for a century and finally exhaled.   ”Quack, quack,

quack !”   They tucked their wings in, their bodies motionless, yet swam swiftly across the water, carefree and untroubled.   From the mere sight of them, one couldn’t tell how hard their feet were paddling underwater.   Dao Qiongcang tilted his head to look. Under the night sky, Xu Xiaoshou’s face remained calm, his inner emotions invisible.   He, however, seemed to perceive something, and chuckled softly, “Why, are you feeling homesick?”   ”A little…”   ”So how are you feeling now?” Dao Qiongcang pressed.   Xu Xiaoshou stretched out his hand, but he couldn’t touch the night sky, nor could he grasp the void. He seemed a little dazed: “It seems that once I go there, everything will be over…”   ”Then don’t go there.”   ”Don’t deceive yourself, it’s over long ago.” Xu Xiaoshou paused, “Everything.”   Dao Qiongcang smiled silently, and also looked up at the sky, with stars reflected in his eyes.   It’s not over.   To borrow the words of the Sword Ancestor, that is, “Dongshan Jianma, engraved with millennia of achievements, the Heavenly Realm calls, and watch the wind and clouds renew.” The sound of   the four directions will resound throughout the Heavenly Realm.   However, the Heavenly Realm is a new journey, and the words of the Holy Continent are indeed as Xu Xiaoshou said, everything is over.   ”Then go there.”   Dao Qiongcang never limits himself.   It’s still one day before everything related to Xu Xiaoshou is returned.   He knew that Xu Xiaoshou needed a fulcrum at this moment, so he pointed to Nanming, “If you don’t know how to start again, go find Xiaoyu first. She has a gift for you.” (End of this chapter)
