Chapter 267 Silver Light

Lance took the magic card and thanked him politely.

The two parties exchanged greetings for a while, and Borg asked vaguely whether Lance had other items to sell. Lance naturally said for the time being that there was nothing worth auctioning.

The Shapeshifter didn’t force it, but told Lance that if he had something good in the future, he must send it to the Silver Star Auction House.

Lance nodded, and then asked: “Mr. Borg, I have a question for you.”

The Shapeshifter said generously: “Just ask.”

“I just saw a wizard who sold a second-level witchcraft learning scroll. Is there something like this for sale near the Rotten City?” Lance asked directly.

Borg froze for a moment, and he knew just now that Lance had bought the scroll. He originally thought that Lance probably bought the scroll for collection. But unexpectedly, Lance actually asked him where there are second-level witchcraft learning scrolls to buy!

The Shapeshifter is also a very flexible guy, with a sigh in his heart, secretly saying that this mysterious Mr. Lance would not be a foreign second-level wizard, right?

You know, there are very few second-level wizards in the Rotten City, and once one appears, it can disturb the situation of one party.

With this kind of speculation in his mind, Borg became more respectful in his attitude: “You mean that second-level witchcraft learning scroll, in fact, there is really no such thing in the City of Decay.”

“But I know that there is a place outside the Rotten City, but I can get a second-level witchcraft learning scroll. And I can be sure that the scroll you bought is also from the place outside the city.”

“Outside the city?” Lance was stunned for a moment, and looked at Borg with consulting eyes.

The Shapeshifter no longer dragged his feet, and said directly: “That’s it. You should know that the Rotten City is only the core of the entire Blackpool Land. Most first-level wizards gather here. The main function of this city is Trade, potion planting, enchanting alchemy and other sideline businesses. In the Blackpool Land, there are many wizard organizations whose headquarters are not set up in the decaying city. For example, the powerful Flower Scorpion Society is just setting up a branch. That’s it.”

“In addition to the Flower Scorpion Society, there are two other more important wizard organizations in the Blackpool Land. They also established their headquarters outside the city. One is the [Golden Lion] that has fallen in recent years, and the other is [Silver]. Light of Light]. Ninety-nine percent of this scroll for learning witchcraft was made by several craftsmen and wizards in Silver Light.”

“Silver Light?” Lance wrote down the name. “Is this a wizarding organization similar to the Flower Scorpion Society?”

“No, Silver Light is actually very similar to our Silver Star Alliance. It is a loose organization. Except for the Seven Craftsman Wizards and some permanent staff, most of the members are highly mobile free wizards. ——In fact, quite a few members of Silver Light are also members of our Silver Star Alliance, because our two organizations have no fundamental conflicts of interest.” Borg explained patiently:

“In addition, the Silver Light is actually the name of a wizard tower, and its real organization name should be the Silver Light Wizard Association.”

…

Half an hour later, Lance left the Silver Star auction house, holding a letter of introduction handwritten by Borg himself.

Although the Silver Light Wizards Association has a loose structure, it will never recruit members of unknown origin. Only by holding a letter of introduction from the local forces in Blackpool can you officially join the Silver Light. According to Borg, the wizard tower built by seven craftsmen and wizards is only about half a day away from the decaying city. Lance driving the magic carpet by himself is bound to be faster.

Since the seven craftsman wizards are all Level 2 wizards, and two of them are good at making scrolls, it is the only place in the entire Blackpool area where scrolls of Level 2 witchcraft learning may flow out. For such an organization, Lance would naturally not miss it. Perhaps his current dilemma of urgent lack of second-level witchcraft can be solved in the Silver Light.

In the middle of the night, he returned to the Sleeping Hotel. He came to the next room and knocked gently on the door, but there was still no response inside.

Lance frowned and pushed in.

The room was dim, and Lance lit the lamp and found that there was no one in the room, exactly the same as when he set out to the auction.

“Where did she go?”

Lance felt a little dissatisfied. He pondered for a moment, set a small warning spell in the room, as long as someone enters, it will automatically remind himself.

After doing all this, he closed Lan’s door and walked back to his room.

In the dark room, he put down a white crystal at any time. Not long after, bright white light flooded the whole room immediately.

He slackened his muscles and bones and walked quickly to the bed.

However, at this moment, he saw a figure curled up in a ball, lying on his bed.

“Lan?” He looked at the girl on the bed somewhat unexpectedly.

She closed her eyes tightly, lying on her side curled up, her eyelashes trembling slightly, and there were a few teardrops hanging on them. There were obvious tears on her face and on the pillow.

She did not respond to Lance’s inquiry, and seemed to fall asleep deeply.

Lance thought for a while, quietly draped the quilt on her, then came to the table in the center of the room, and started to consolidate the knowledge of spells tonight.

…

The next morning, the girl woke up from her sleep. She turned around, staring blankly at the ceiling for a while, and suddenly jumped out of the bed.

“Mr. Lance,” she said unnaturally, “I…”

“You slept for eight hours and nineteen minutes.” Lance turned to the next page of the book, wrote some words, and said firmly.

“Sorry, I shouldn’t sleep in your bed.” Lan became anxious and immediately turned over and got off the bed.

“I have no plan to hold you accountable for the time being, but if you wake up, I think we should start.” Lance closed the book and looked at Lan.

“Leaving? Where to go?” Lan asked blankly.

“I really doubt if you have been replaced.” Lance said helplessly, “Where is that savvy maid?”

“Be prepared, we are leaving the decaying city temporarily.”

…

The gust of wind whistled in the ears, and the white clouds surged backwards.

A thin protective cover slowly rose up around the magic carpet, protecting Lance and Lan inside.

“Mr. Lance, last night, I…” Lan said hesitantly, “I went to a place.”

“It’s reasonable.” Lance said disapprovingly: “I didn’t restrain your behavior. You can go wherever you want. For me, as long as you can perform the maid when I need you. The due obligation will do.”

Lan blushed and said, “I understand.”

“Next, you can report what happened yesterday.” Lance ordered.

“Huh? I thought you were not interested in my business…”

Lance said without a doubt: “As your master, I have the right to know everything about you. Before I was not interested, but now, I suddenly have such a little interest…”

Lan shook her head helplessly, after thinking about it, she began to speak in a low voice.

Lance listened to her narration calmly, and finally asked: “How do I know you are not lying?”

Lan whispered: “We have signed a blood contract. I cannot lie to you. Besides, I have made it clear that there is no possibility of lying in every detail. Please believe me. My The talent for lying will definitely only be used for you, and will not hurt you.”

Lance silently mobilized the power of the contract and confirmed that Lan did not lie.

He pondered for a moment, and then slowly said, “I can’t promise you how about this matter. Let’s take a look again, if I have time.”

Lan’s eyes flushed immediately, and she thanked her again and again.

At this moment, the flying height of the magic carpet suddenly dropped slightly.

Lance glanced intently. They crossed the clouds, and underneath was a vast forest.

In the middle of the forest, above a high mountain, a bright silver light flashed.

He landed the magic carpet on the mountain and found the brilliance on foot. It was a huge door made of sterling silver, inlaid on a high mountain cliff.

There are countless complicated runes painted on this door. Lance can only recognize a corner. Some of the runes are used to ensure that only wizards with extraordinary spiritual power can see this door.

When Lance put the letter of introduction in Borg’s handwritten letter into the mezzanine of the door, a line of words flashed on the door:

[Welcome to the Silver Tower Wizarding Association]

Not long after, the door opened slowly. Lance walked in with Lan.

The Silver Tower is a wizarding organization built in the midst of a mountain. After Lance walked through the gate, a bright silver light caught his eye.

The whole mountain was almost hollowed out, and in the huge mountain belly, one after another row of wizarding towers made of silver, among them, the seven silver towers in the center were the tallest and magnificent. In the entire area of the Silver Tower, most of the colors are pure silver, and even the lamps that are lit on the stone walls are made of silver as the lamp, which is very magnificent.

“Mr., this is the first time you have entered the Silver Tower. Although there is a letter of introduction from Mr. Borg, you still need to register.”

A fire-red squirrel jumped out from nowhere. He also wears a pair of clip-nose glasses on his head, a quill pen in his right hand, and a silver-white book in his left hand: “I need your personal information first.”

“name?”

“Lance.”

“age?”

“Can it be kept secret?”

“Of course… the next question, gender?”

“… I look like a woman?”

“No, no, you have to know that you were recommended by the Shapeshifter. I can’t tell your true identity.”

“Male!” Lance said righteously.

Squirrel pushed his glasses, and then wrote: “Well, let’s continue.”

…

After a full half an hour, the registration of Squirrel’s information was completed. After paying the cost of the five magic stones and the information fee, Lance finally got his wish and became a peripheral member of the Wizards Association of the Silver Tower. He was free to walk around the entire area of the Silver Tower, receive tasks, rent laboratories, and alchemy. Housing, purchase items, etc.

Squirrel gave him a book with his information.

“This Silver Book is the record and basis for any activities you performed in the Silver Tower. If you have any daily questions, you can also check it out. It will answer your questions.”

After leaving this sentence, the squirrel disappeared in front of Lance.

Lance opened the Book of Silver, skipped his own information, and came to the page for reference.
