Chapter 315 Memories and Decoding

In the dim morgue, a series of props such as short knives, tweezers, scissors, and syringes took turns dancing on the cold corpse. When they returned to their original positions, the complete corpse was already in pieces.

From the head to the ankles, every inch of the corpse’s skin was carefully cut open, revealing the muscle tissue underneath, or the turbid thick pulp.

However, these liquid tissues did not flow out because of the splitting of the skin. They stayed in place quietly, like a static picture.

And Master Kaz, who manipulated all this smoothly, closed his eyes throughout the whole process.

He just moved his fingers, and those tools flew up and back by themselves. Everything was like a bloody performance of a puppet.

When the autopsy was over, Master Kaz clapped his hands lightly, instantly breaking the solidified “time” on the corpse. The plasma mixed with pus rushed out of the bones and muscles, overflowed from the flattened skin, and dripped onto the floor tiles of the morgue bit by bit along the black leather.

“Colom, come here.” Kaz’s voice sounded.

A short boy’s head appeared above the corpse. He looked at the bright red pool in front of him without any discomfort, and even exclaimed “Wow” in amazement.

“Fill the brain tissue, clean the plasma and pus, and refill the preservative gel. After everything is done, call Hayden… Oh, he’s gone. Call the people next door to heal the wound. I’ll find someone to carry the body away.”

After saying that, Teacher Kaz opened his eyes, as if the person who just handled the corpse was not him, but a puppet controlled by him.

His slightly cloudy eyes clearly reflected everything on the conveyor belt, but there was no strange emotion.

He has been doing this kind of work for many years, dissecting friends, students, and enemies. He once thought that unless it was Gorza who appeared on the conveyor belt, he would not be surprised if anyone died.

After instructing the apprentice, Kaz turned and walked out of the morgue.

As he left, some small things in the room shook slightly, as if they were gently pulled by a thin thread.

But soon, this disturbing movement stopped as the scarlet door closed.

Colum watched Kaz leave respectfully, then rolled up his sleeves and began to clean up the mess with excitement.

The cleanup was completed smoothly, and he began to inject gel into Nick’s body. This gel replaced blood and other flowing tissues in the human body, allowing the body to be plump again.

The next step was a crucial one, which required putting the brain back into the two halves of Nick’s head.

But when he took out an artificial skull from a box, he seemed a little nervous.

He tried to keep a straight face, but his trembling eyes revealed his true emotions.

Put in the artificial skull, close the skull, and simply suture it.

This set of actions was only slightly slower than before.

Not long after, a strange face appeared, with a look of despair on his face, and released several repairs on the body that Colum had pieced together.

Then he nodded to Colum with a dejected look, indicating that he had finished the work, and left the morgue listlessly.

Colum, who had been standing by and watching, suddenly sighed silently after the stranger left.

…

The picture stopped, and Thor began to struggle to break free from Nick’s body.

However, as soon as he exerted force, he severed the connection between him and Nick.

After selecting the locator, everything was very different from before. The once difficult walking, powerful enemies, and terrifying mental interference all became much easier.

When the fog covering the knowledge of witchcraft was dispelled by the great power, only the principles and rules remained.

Thor successfully left Nick’s body and returned to himself.

Then he got up from the ground while asking the four consciousnesses, “What do you think here?”

Just now when he entered Nick’s body, he deliberately asked the diary not to pass on what he saw to several consciousnesses, but let them study and discuss separately in an isolated space.

This time, the first person to write was Hermann.

Hermann: [I didn’t analyze anything…]

Well, Herman is an action-oriented wizard apprentice, and it is difficult for him to study the fluctuation law and connotation information of the spirit body.

But then Thor did not receive good news. Morton and Agudu sent messages one after another, but they were too short and the real content was not analyzed.

Thor did not continue to ask. The remaining An was a complex of multiple consciousnesses. It had just taken shape recently and needed to improve its self-awareness. Thor did not think about how fast An’s thinking could turn.

“I have a clue here, but it will take some effort to track down the real mastermind.” Thor also sighed.

Kullom, who replaced him in the morgue, is only a first-level apprentice. And from his expression when he was in action, he was a little nervous, but not afraid.

Nine out of ten were just accepting bribes and doing things for others.

But fortunately, Thor could still track down who was contacting Kullom.

As long as Kullom dared to hesitate under the title of Gorza’s mentor, Thor admired his courage!

But in any case, the caution of the mastermind behind the scenes frightened him.

Each link was passed through two or three people, and there might be more than that.

Thor was a little hesitant before. Was he their target?

But after a series of investigations, he could only laugh and said, “I am not worthy.”

Who knew that at this time, An, who was least expected, took the initiative to come out.

An: [Master~ I seem to have deciphered the meaning of this mental fluctuation.]

Agu: [!]

Morton: [!]

Herman: [?]

The three consciousnesses each used a punctuation mark, which well expressed their surprise.

Thor did not expect An to decipher it. Although An’s tone did not sound very certain, Thor, who had seen the power of the ghost hand, thought that this tone represented a kind of showing off.

A hint of interest flashed in his eyes, “Tell me about it.”

An: [“Smash it”, that’s all.] It’s

a very simple signal.

Thor raised his hand and touched his chin. Whenever he thought, he liked to do this action.

Herman: [Smash it? What kind of control method is this?]

Morton: [No, now that you put it this way, it seems to be what you mean. 】

Agu:【Indeed, it is difficult to infer the unknown, but if you know the answer and then work backwards, it will be easy. If you use this information to work backwards… at least the reverse equation is successful. 】

An:【Hehe~】

Sol did not bother to calculate anymore. He believed in Morton and Agu’s experience and calculation ability. But he was more curious about why An could deduce this result.

“How did you do it?”

Faced with Sol’s question, An seemed a little hesitant.

An:【Uh… If I say that the memory came out on its own, master, do you believe me? 】

An thought Sol would hesitate for a while, but she didn’t expect him to raise his eyebrows and ask her in return, “Believe it! Does this memory belong to the vengeful hand, or to the incomplete evil spirit?”

An immediately became honest.

【It’s an evil spirit. 】
