Chapter 298: Meeting on Board

A few days later, a secret message spread from Mobei to the desert.

A strange big ship sailing on land.

Two men standing on the windward side.

“Kadis has already planted the mark, we can notify the people inside.” One of them said calmly.

“This time we changed our plan at the last minute and acted in a hurry. Kadis has not returned yet… Will there be any problems with the mark?” The other man frowned.

The first man shook his head. “The blood on the new sprouts of the Lost Soul Flower is fresh. Cadis may have been injured in the battle. Maybe he was seriously injured and couldn’t come back. But it doesn’t matter if he died outside. As long as the mission is completed, he is useless.”

“What if he is caught by the people in the wizard tower? Will our plan be leaked?”

“Don’t worry. Before Cadis was sent out, his mentor had already left the mark of the Lost Soul Flower in his spirit. Even if someone tortured him severely, he would not remember anything about the Lost Soul Flower.”

“That’s good. The ability of the Lost Soul Flower is still trustworthy. It turns out that you were ready to give up on him before. Don’t you feel bad for losing a third-level apprentice for nothing?”

The first man turned his head and looked at the second man.

He had a short beard on his face, but if someone looked closely, they would find that the beard was twisting slightly.

The second man lowered his head when he was looked at.

“Are you testing my resolve?” He grabbed the second man’s head and pressed him down towards him. “I, Wilde, will keep my word. Since we have signed the agreement, I will not regret it even if the entire fleet of land ships is trapped.”

Wilde, the captain of the land ship, is also the only second-level official wizard in this organization.

Because of Wilde’s actions, the two people’s faces are very close.

This should have been a distance close enough to make the man feel ambiguous, but the next second, Wilde’s beard on his face suddenly twisted and grew longer, deeply piercing into the other’s flesh.

Drops of blood condensed and slid from the latter’s face and neck, dripping on the rough wooden deck of the land ship.

Then it seeped in through the gaps.

The second man was trembling all over. He wanted to speak, but his lips were sewn by Wilde’s beard. He wanted to open his mouth, but he could only reveal a mouth full of black silk.

The man stared with bloodshot eyes and looked up desperately, hoping that Wilde could see his intention to beg for mercy.

Wilde did not look back at the man whose face was covered in blood. He looked straight ahead, looking at the rising sun at the end of the desert.

In his eyes, it was like the setting sun.

Wilde did not let go of the man until his struggles began to weaken.

“Remember, after this is done, I will marry Kira and become the new king of Kema. And no matter what happens in Kema in the future, you are not allowed to interfere.”

The man who was released fell to his knees, stroking his face with trembling hands, as if touching a rough piece of sandpaper. The pain began to surge after the beard faded, making the man’s words become intermittent.

“Yes, yes, everything, everything is in accordance with the three-party agreement.”

Wilde nodded, “That’s good.”

“Then, then I’ll go back first, I have to pass on this news as soon as possible.”

“Go away.”

After the second man got off the boat in a hurry, Wilde still looked in the direction of the rising sun.

“Is that Thor really that important? I heard that Gorza, who rarely leaves the wizard tower, once went to pick him up.” Another person walked onto the deck.

Wilde did not look back, “So we are very interested in that guy. However, several attempts to contact him have failed. Gorza seems to be protecting him.”

The newcomer rubbed his fingers, “I have a strong desire to destroy the people Gorza has set his sights on.”

Wilde said lightly, “Aruba, you’d better not act on your own. If you ruin the plan, I won’t be the most angry person.”

The second prince of the Principality of Knas is also the one who has the most hope of being promoted to a second-level official wizard.

Unfortunately, he failed to get promoted unexpectedly a while ago and got injured instead. However, he also used the excuse of recuperating from his injuries to secretly come to the land alone. After all,

some methods of recuperation are not easy to use openly in the country.

“I know, I don’t want to bear the anger that those people have suppressed for a long time for Gorza. Haha, but I just want to know, if one day, Gorza finds that the apprentice he focused on training has become the guillotine, I wonder if he can still laugh at that time?”

“Gorza’s real purpose of going out that time was not to pick up an apprentice~”

Suddenly, a voice full of laughter interrupted the conversation between the two.

“Who?” Aruba’s face changed and looked in the direction of the sound.

And Wilde still stared at the rising sun with a faint expression.

At this time, a handsome man with silver hair and a frivolous expression slowly walked out of the scorching sun.

He casually held a harp in his hand, which looked as if it would slip from his fingertips at any time.

Wilde’s eyes happened to be fixed on the direction where Kismet appeared, as if he was not looking at the rising sun just now, but at the silver-haired man standing in the sun’s halo.

“Who are you?” Aruba had never seen Kismet, but he knew that the two knew each other because of Wilde’s calm appearance.

“Just an insignificant person.” Kismet landed on the deck and shook the harp in his hand at Aruba.

Aruba looked at the harp, and suddenly his mind was filled with memories of his failed promotion.

That scene seemed to be related to the harp.

The musicians who were responsible for the performance at that time had all been executed by Aruba, but this could only help him vent his frustration a little.

The frustration of the failed promotion has not been completely resolved until now.

Looking at the attitude of the silver-haired man in front of him when facing Wilde, Aruba guessed that the person who came was also a second-level wizard.

He threw away those unimportant memories in his mind and slightly corrected his tone.

“Are you also a guest entertained by the captain?”

Kismet leaned back, leaned on the railing, and placed the harp on a protruding piece of wood.

“I just came to watch the fun.”

“You just said that Gorza went out for another purpose, what exactly was it?” Wilde frowned impatiently when he saw Kismet and Aruba chatting, but not talking about the more interesting topic just now.

Kismet turned his head and gently hooked the strings with his little finger, making a “ding–” sound.

“He actually went to see an old friend. On the way back, he saved his apprentice.”

“Who did he meet?” Wilde was a little worried that the appearance of Gorza’s old friend would affect their plan.

“A half-elf.”

Shock!

Wilde and Aruba’s faces showed different degrees of expression changes.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense.

“Will that half-elf affect our plan?” Wilde continued to ask.

“No.” Kismet raised her index finger and shook it. “You know how difficult it is for a half-elf to live peacefully in this world. She won’t fight for anyone. You know that every time a half-elf fights, her connection with this world will be weakened. Once the connection becomes weak to a certain extent, she will disappear like other elves.”

“Even if the half-elf won’t fight casually, how can you guarantee that her relationship with Gorza won’t affect our plan?” Aruba asked.

Kismet turned his head to the other side, facing Aruba, and said with a smile: “Because that half-elf… is also my old friend~”
