Chapter 16098. Separation

Although there was a slight internal turmoil within the Blood Slaughter Sect, it was perfectly manageable. The disciples wouldn’t disobey the sect’s orders; everyone was diligently cultivating, and no one wanted to be punished. Externally, the Blood Slaughter Sect wasn’t idle either. Shi Jin had already discovered several domains, and Bai Yan and his group had formulated an attack plan, so they directly attacked those domains.

Their attack was exactly as Bai Yan had planned: they entered those domains through a passage, obtained their coordinates, and then deployed the Thousand Machine Star Radar to cover the entire domain, monitoring it before delivering a swift and decisive blow to take it down.

Frankly, dealing with those ordinary domains was now akin to a dimensional reduction attack for the Blood Slaughter Sect. The strength of those domains was simply incomparable to theirs, making it incredibly easy for them to subdue them.

In the past few days, while dealing with those domains, they have also been summarizing their experiences. For example, they can now accurately determine the boundary of a domain by observing energy fluctuations. The boundaries of these domains are actually energy turbulence areas. These energy turbulences are like the Five Elements Energy Turbulence in the Five Elements Dividing Light Domain. No matter what it is, as long as it encounters that energy turbulence, it will eventually be decomposed into the most ordinary energy particles. This is the most terrifying thing.

What’s even more terrifying is that sometimes, this energy turbulence doesn’t actually release much energy. In other words, the energy turbulence is very powerful, but the energy fluctuations it produces are small. This might sound strange, but such energy turbulence is real. After observing for so long, the Blood Slaughter Sect has concluded that energy turbulence is generally divided into two types: one is outward-emitting energy turbulence. Outward-emitting energy turbulence means that the power of this energy turbulence is directed outward. This kind of external energy turbulence is actually constantly expanding, but the expansion speed is not very fast. However, the energy fluctuations it produces are very large. You can clearly feel how terrifying this energy turbulence is. You might even be able to feel the powerful energy fluctuations from thousands or tens of thousands of miles away. This kind of energy turbulence is not actually scary, because you can clearly feel it. Once you feel it, you can simply avoid it. There’s nothing to be afraid of.

Another type of energy turbulence is the inward-contracting type. The most terrifying aspect of this type is that its energy flows inward, resulting in extremely subtle energy fluctuations. A careless cultivator might not even notice it and simply enter the turbulence. However, once inside, you are doomed. Even if you are powerful enough to temporarily block the turbulence, you will be swept away by it and dragged deeper into its depths, meaning you will never escape. This

inward-contracting energy turbulence has caused the Blood Slaughter Sect several losses; several of their Thousand Machine Star radars were caught in it, which is the most terrifying aspect.

Now, the Blood Slaughter Sect can distinguish inward-contracting energy turbulence based on energy fluctuations, recognizing them as ordinary energy fluctuations, thus allowing them to avoid these inward-contracting energy turbulences.

These domains are like isolated islands within a turbulent energy flow, completely surrounded by this flow, which itself forms the domain’s boundary.

Frankly, even the Blood Slaughter Sect members don’t understand why the Divine Domain is like this. They don’t know its exact size, only that each domain is vast, yet each has boundaries and passageways. They truly don’t understand why.

The situation in the Divine Domain is rather strange. Each domain seems relatively independent, yet their cultivation methods appear identical. While the strongest sects in each domain may differ, their general cultivation and combat styles are all the same, remaining within the realm of cultivation.

This is the strangest point: if these domains are truly independent, why are their civilizations so similar? Logically, these almost completely isolated domains should produce diverse civilizations. Why are the civilizations here nearly identical? This is incredibly bizarre.

This situation also caught the attention of the Blood Slaughter Sect. The members of the Blood Slaughter Sect were puzzled as to why this was happening, but they couldn’t find anything particularly unusual. Therefore, they could only conquer one domain at a time. If there were truly anything strange about the various domains within the Divine Realm, they believed they would find out sooner or later.

After conquering dozens of domains in succession, the Blood Slaughter Sect’s power had grown significantly. To facilitate combat, the Blood Slaughter Sect had to create several more Ouroboros. These Ouroboros were controlled by Ding Chunming and his group. These Ouroboros would also refine the continents from those domains into their bodies. Although the space within these new Ouroboros wasn’t as large as the old one, if this continued, they would eventually catch up. This was because the old Ouroboros had stopped refining continents and small spaces into its body. The reason it stopped refining new continents and small spaces was that the old Ouroboros’s capacity had reached its limit.

They initially believed the old ouroboros’s body had no limit to its capacity, as ouroboros could grow indefinitely. However, they later discovered this wasn’t the case; the old ouroboros’s internal space also had a limit. Once this limit was reached, further incorporating continents into its body could cause it to collapse. Therefore, they created several more ouroboros.

Crucially, each conquered region yielded hundreds of continents and hundreds more small spaces, so it was quite normal for the old ouroboros to reach its capacity limit.

Zhao Hai was aware of this situation, but he didn’t say anything. It was perfectly normal; no matter how many ouroboros were created, they would all eventually transform into runes and be stored in the rune space. In fact, Zhao Hai was the first to discover that the ouroboros’ capacity had reached its limit. He noticed that the rune representing the old ouroboros was somewhat unstable. After carefully studying the rune, he realized that the old ouroboros’ capacity had reached its limit. He immediately informed Wen Wenhai and the others, and that’s how they created several new ouroboros.

Now, the Blood Slaughter Sect has a total of six ouroboros. The old ouroboros is managed by Wen Wenhai, while the remaining five are managed by Bai Yan, Ding Chunming, Gongsun Yulong, Sheng Si, and Cheng Wanchun, respectively.

These five new ouroboros are mainly for dealing with newly discovered domains. Currently, these five ouroboros already contain many continents and spaces, some of which have even merged, making them quite substantial.

This is because the Blood Slaughter Sect has a strong foundation. No matter how many new members join, the Blood Slaughter Sect always has enough manpower to manage them. If it weren’t for their strong foundation, the Blood Slaughter Sect would probably be in chaos by now. Without the unified management of the Blood Slaughter Sect disciples, new members are prone to problems.

These newcomers to the Blood Slaughter Sect haven’t yet been taken into Zhao Hai’s rune space. They need to be tested. Only after they pass the test and are made to believe in Zhao Hai as a god will they be truly taken into the rune space. In the process, some people may be eliminated.

Although Ding Chunming and his group now each manage an individual Ouroboros, the actual daily management of those Ouroboros is still handled by Wen Wenhai. What Ding Chunming and his group manage are actually the Ouroboros themselves. They direct the Ouroboros to absorb the newly conquered lands into their bodies, then unify the management of the people on those lands, truly integrating them into the Blood Slaughter Sect’s system. Once these people are integrated into the Blood Slaughter Sect’s system, Wen Wenhai becomes their manager. Therefore, although the Ouroboros are separated from Wen Wenhai and his group, the management system remains the same. New Ouroboros can go to the old Ouroboros at any time. Wen Wenhai even further distributes new members of the Blood Slaughter Sect, re-integrating them into the various branches of the sect, thus simplifying management.

Furthermore, Wen Wenhai and his group discovered a pattern: sects they conquered by force were easier to manage, while those that surrendered were more troublesome. This was because surrendered sects might have believed that they were negotiating terms with the Blood Slaughter Sect and could receive preferential treatment. This mindset made them harder to manage. Therefore, the Blood Slaughter Sect eventually stopped trying to persuade them to surrender and simply launched a massive attack until they were subdued. If they refused, they would be wiped out, turned into undead, and then forced to join the sect – that way, they would be obedient.

That’s how it is when there are people; you have to instill fear in them for them to truly behave. Otherwise, they might not behave and instead think they can negotiate with you. If you don’t agree or treat them like everyone else, they’ll be unhappy, feeling slighted and different from others. Because of this, Wen Wenhai and his group have stopped trying to persuade them to surrender. This has actually accelerated their conquest of the new territory and made subsequent management easier.

It can be said that the Blood Slaughter Sect’s numbers are snowballing, constantly increasing in size and territory. However, the Blood Slaughter Sect’s deep foundation makes management more than sufficient. As for the newly joined troublemakers, there’s not much to say; they’re dealt with directly. Once those guys are all dealt with, they’ll behave. Otherwise, they’ll think they’re so special. (End of Chapter)
