Chapter 1550. Chapter 1544 [Where are you now?] (Two chapters combined)

The machine-operated area.

The Super Iron Pet Battle Club.

Qiao Sang, carrying Xia Bao, walked in with Ya Bao and the others.

The receptionist looked over, and when she saw a group of unfamiliar pets, she was first taken aback, then reacted, giving a standard professional smile, and said,

“Hello, how can I help you?”

“I’d like to find a group of low-level and mid-level pets for sparring,” Qiao Sang stated directly.

The receptionist was taken aback again, confirming, “A group?”

Qiao Sang hummed in agreement, “A group. I hope all the low-level and mid-level pets in your club can come and spar.”

The receptionist couldn’t help but glance around at the unfamiliar pets, thinking to herself that these pets didn’t seem to be low-level.

Her gaze swept over Ya Bao and the others, then lingered on Xia Bao, and then on Xiao Xun Bao for a moment.

Xiao Xun Bao keenly sensed the meaning in the human’s eyes and quickly called out,

“Xun Xun!”

Why are you looking at me! It’s not like I’m training with low-level and mid-level pets!

“Qingqing.”

Qingbao, seeing this scene, mercilessly mocked.

It’s all because your level looks too low.

“Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao cried out anxiously, indicating that its level didn’t look low!

“Qingqing.”

Qingbao looked Little Xunbao up and down and called out.

Size.

“Xun, Xun,”

Little Xunbao pointed at it with trembling short toes, somewhat speechless with anger.

The staff member, unable to understand the conversation, had already looked away while Little Xunbao and Qingbao were bickering, and respectfully inquired:

“What are your requirements for the pet’s attributes?”

“None,” Qiao Sang said, “I only need low-level and mid-level pets, any attributes are fine.”

“Okay, let me check for you.” The staff member said, bowing her head to work on the computer.

A short while later, she looked up and said, “Our pet battle club’s sparring partners are all mechanical-type pets. If you don’t have any specific requirements regarding attributes, we currently have a total of 21 pets available for you to battle with, including 6 low-level mechanical-type pets and 15 mid-level mechanical-type pets. Our fees are based on the sparring partners’ rates, which vary from person to person. These 21 pets all come from…”

Qiao Sang interrupted,

“Money is not a problem. I want to ask how long it takes for these mechanical-type pets to recover and continue battling after they fall?”

The staff member paused, glancing subtly at Xia Bao and Xiao Xunbao.

“Xunxun!”

Upon seeing Xiao Xunbao, Xiao Xunbao immediately noticed, its eyes widening in dissatisfaction, and it cried out, indicating that it had already said it wasn’t me who wanted to battle!

The staff member still didn’t understand, looked away, and replied,

“Mechanical-type pets can recover once they’re fully charged, as long as their core components aren’t damaged.”

If that’s the case, even with only 21, they could continuously engage in battles to increase their points. Qiao Sang said,

“I’m mainly here to train my skills and test their power. When my pet uses a skill, I hope the opponent’s pet won’t defend.”

The staff member inwardly muttered to himself, but outwardly remained respectful, saying,

“Of course, our training instructors will meet all your training needs.”

After discussing the training duration, Qiao Sang paid a deposit of 1000 Alliance Coins and was led to the training room by the staff member.

Soon, one training instructor after another brought their mechanical-type pets into the room.

Once all the mechanical pets were in the area, Qiao Sang stood to one side and said,

“Flying Leaf.”

“Xia Xia!”

Xia Bao looked at the group of mechanical-type pets of various forms in front of her, a serious expression on her face, and called out.

Dozens of green-glowing leaves appeared out of thin air like blades, attacking forward.

Qiao Sang’s requirement was that there be no Beastmaster command, only pet battles. The sparring partners had no place to use their skills and couldn’t leave the workshop, so they whispered among themselves outside the training area:

“I don’t think I’ve seen these pets before. They don’t seem to be from our Tianyuan Star.”

“Your voice is too loud. Lower it, or we’ll look unprofessional if we’re heard.”

“Does training just one grass-type pet really require so many sparring partners?”

“She has the money, don’t worry about it.”

“These pets aren’t all hers, are they?”

“How could that be? Look at how many pets there are. If they all belong to this girl, then she’s an S-rank Beastmaster.”

“By the way, these pets are all quite good-looking, and they’re all wearing miniature shrinking bracelets. Their levels look pretty high.”

“Did you see that ghost-type pet? It doesn’t have a miniature shrinking bracelet. I thought it was going to battle for training too, but it didn’t.” The speaker gestured with their head in the direction of Little Treasure Hunt.

Everyone around turned to look.

“Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao had heard the whole conversation. When so many people were staring at it, it imitated Ya Bao’s angry expression, baring its teeth at the humans who were looking at it.

The slight pressure from the royal-level pet beast, coupled with its obviously angry facial expression, made the sparring partners who had looked over feel a chill inexplicably, a sense of fear rising within them. They wisely and quickly averted their gaze, turning their heads away.

“Qingqing,”

Qingbao called out teasingly with a smile, implying, “Why are you so angry? These humans only think you’re low-level because of your small size.

” “Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao called out angrily, indicating that these humans were blind, not only failing to recognize it but also thinking it needed low- and mid-level pet beasts as sparring partners!

It couldn’t wait to unleash its powerful skills to dazzle these blind humans and prove itself.

But then, it suddenly remembered something, its eyes lighting up. It took out its phone, logged into its account, and started a live stream.

Within seconds, hundreds of thousands of fans flooded in.

“Looking for you~”

Little Xunbao grinned at the phone screen, waving its paws enthusiastically and shouting loudly, “My millions of fans, I’m here to see you!”

The training partners, though not understanding, instinctively turned to look at the suddenly louder and changed tone.

In the live stream, the chat was constantly refreshing.

Little Xunbao specifically chose one comment that read “Where are you now?” and replied:

“Xunxun~”

Old Seven is training right now, and as the second-in-command of the team, and also as a Royal-level pet, I’m responsible for keeping an eye on him.

Tingbao glanced at Little Xunbao.

Qingbao rolled its eyes.

“Ya Ya?”

Ya Bao looked puzzled and called out, “Why are you watching Old Seven?”

“Qingqing.”

Qingbao floated to its side and called out, indicating that the point wasn’t watching Old Seven, but that it was a Royal-level pet.

“Ya Ya?”

Ya Bao was even more confused and called out, “Why is being a Royal-level pet important?”

“Qingqing.”

Qingbao glanced at Yabao with a complicated expression, then silently floated to the side.

It felt that if the conversation continued like this, the questions would never end.

“Yaya?”

Seeing that Qingbao didn’t answer, Ya Bao turned to look at Lu Bao, whose head was peeking out of the backpack.

Lu Bao shook its head and called out,

“Bing Luo.”

It didn’t know either.

Just as Ya Bao was about to ask its own beast tamer, Gang Bao flew to the side and calmly called out,

“Gang Quan.”

Those humans thought Little Xun Bao’s level was low, so it specifically stated its own level.

“Ya Ya!”

“Bing Luo.”

Ya Bao and Lu Bao both showed expressions of sudden realization.

“Ya Ya?”

Soon, Ya Bao thought of something and called out, indicating whether those humans could understand Little Xun Bao’s speech.

Upon hearing this, Gang Bao immediately looked at it, showing surprise.

It didn’t expect that Ya Bao’s intelligence would allow it to ask such a crucial question.

On the other side, Little Xun Bao was still interacting with the fans in the live stream.

The comments kept appearing, but they were all surprisingly consistent, asking the same question:

【Seventh?】

【Did I hear that right? Seventh? Qiao Shen has contracted his seventh pet?!】 [

Is there a problem with the translation? It includes the words “Old Seven”.]

[What does “Old Seven” mean?]

[Ahhh! Qiao Shen’s brain has broken through to the level of an S-rank Beastmaster? Really?!]

[Everyone, don’t get excited, it must be a translation problem.]

Just as the comments kept refreshing, Little Treasure grinned and proudly called out:

“Xunxun~”

The translation was correct; it was referring to Old Seven. Its Beastmaster had broken through to the S-rank Beastmaster level a few days ago. As

soon as these words were spoken, the live stream seemed to malfunction, and all the comments stopped abruptly.

But only two seconds later, the screen was filled with exclamation marks and question marks.

One comment flashed by:

[Are you in the Mechanical Kingdom now?]

No one noticed this subtitle; the screen was once again filled with exclamation marks and question marks.

Smart Hotel.

Seventy-fifth floor.

Michaela knocked on the door.

The door opened, and a room master stood inside, calling out,

“Room Master?”

The Smart Hotel provides a mechanical butler for all rooms of Class B and above.

“I’m looking for Wuyuan,” Michaela said. “I’m its Beastmaster.”

The room master didn’t immediately step aside, but its eyes glowed blue as it scanned him up and down.

The contractual relationship between Beastmasters and their pets is registered in the Beastmaster Alliance, and the relevant information is also on their identity bracelets, so as long as it’s connected to the official system’s database, the relevant information can be found.

Soon, the room master dissipated the blue light in its eyes, stepped aside, and called out,

“Room Master.

Come in. “

Before Michaela could even step inside, Wuyuan emerged, glanced outside, and seeing no sign of Qiao Sang and Xia Bao, immediately looked at the room master with a displeased expression, calling out,

“Wuwu.”

This is the room I booked; the registration only lists me. How can you just let anyone in?

“Fangfang.”

Fangfang called out apologetically, indicating that she thought Fangfang was her Beastmaster, so it was alright.

Without turning her head, she slammed the door shut with a “bang.”

Michaela: “…”

“Jiujiu.” Jiu Bugu appeared, calling out, indicating that she was looking for this annoying guy and he didn’t like her.

Michaela sighed, “It’s my fault. It’s normal for Wuyuan not to like me.”

She then looked at Penjiamei beside her.

Before she could speak, Penjiamei understood, her eyes glowing blue, and she disappeared with her Beastmaster and Jiu Bugu.

The next second, Michaela, Penjiamei, and Jiu Bugu reappeared in the room.

Wuyuan Xuzhu looked over, frowned, but didn’t seem too surprised.

“Fangfang!” Fangfang

called out as if facing a major threat, indicating that they had trespassed into a hotel room, and if they didn’t leave, she would have to take action!

“Wu Wu.”

The Wishless Void Master came in front of it, blocking its way, its face showing impatience. It called out, indicating that it didn’t care and wanted to see what she had to say.

“Fang Fang.”

Seeing that its guests had spoken, Fang Fang nodded and went to another room, leaving room for conversation.

Michaela sat down on the sofa, about to speak, when the Wishless Void Master looked at her and called out,

“Wu Wu.”

Who told you to sit down?

Michaela stood up and went straight to the point: “I came to find you because I want you to help me contact Duojuye La.”

The Wishless Void Master showed a mocking expression and called out,

“Wu Wu?”

What, you can’t contact her?

Michaela readily admitted, “Yes, that’s why I need you.”

The Wishless Void Master was stunned, seemingly not expecting its Beastmaster to admit it so readily. It was silent for a few seconds, then called out,

“Wu Wu.”

Why should I help you?

Michaela said, “I know you’ve been following us lately to try and get on Sharara’s good side. If you help, I’ll tell Josang it’s your doing.”

She paused, then added,

“Shalarara really likes her.”

“Wuwu,”

the Wishless Void Lord called out, indicating that it knew without being told; if Sharara didn’t like that human named Josang, it wouldn’t have formed a contract with her.

Michaela ignored the mockery and asked, “Can you help?”

The Wishless Void Lord remained silent for a few seconds again.

During her silence, Michaela said in a deep voice, “I know you’ve been angry with me. What I want to say is that expelling the Little Poison Void race is my mission. Even if time could turn back, I would still take on this mission. I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong.”

Penjami, listening nearby, silently facepalmed, a look of utter despair on her face.

The Wishless Void Lord’s face darkened, and black energy even emanated from his body.

But just then, Michaela continued,

“But I feel sorry for you.”

She looked at the Wishless Void Lord earnestly and said,

“Because I later formed a contract with you; you became my pet. You found out about this and were saddened by it, so I feel sorry for you. I think if you had already hatched, I would have respected your wishes even more.”

The black energy on the Wishless Void Lord disappeared, and he stared blankly at his beast tamer, seemingly not expecting her to say such a thing.

Michaela continued,

“What’s done is done. I can’t change or undo it, but I will try my best to make amends. You can tell me anything you want to do, and I will definitely help you.” (End of Chapter)
