1252. Chapter 1247 Success

Time slipped slowly.

After an unknown amount of time, Gangbao opened his eyes and locked eyes with his Beastmaster. “

Let’s begin…” Qiao Sang nodded at him.

Gangbao nodded and began to activate his bond.

Suddenly, a thought struck him. He stopped activating his bond, flapped his wings, and flew out the window, heading for the open-air training ground.

The hotel he was staying in had a dedicated open-air training ground.

“Ya Ya?”

Yabao called out, puzzled, asking where Lao Si was going.

“The open-air training ground,” Qiao Sang said with a smile. “Gangbao’s worried that if his bond evolves successfully, he’ll become too large and burst the room.”

Then, looking at Xiao Xunbao, he said,

“Let’s go to the open-air training ground too.”

“Xunxun?”

Xiao Xunbao didn’t immediately teleport, but instead couldn’t help but call out.

Was Lao Si so sure he could successfully bond evolve?

Xiao Xunbao was torn.

On the one hand, he wanted to be the true boss, but on the other, he thought it would be nice to have an emperor-level subordinate already.

After all, Big Brother Yabao was already an Emperor, so if he had an Emperor-level younger brother, he’d feel more at ease as the boss.

Qiao Sang noticed the hesitation in Little Xunbao’s mind and said, “I’m not sure. It’s just a precaution.”

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao felt strangely relieved. His brows relaxed, his eyes glowed blue, and he disappeared with his beastmaster, Yabao, and the others.

…

Open-air training ground.

The Imperial Beastmaster Academy’s participating team was conducting warm-up training with their pets.

Aiden stood outside the training ground and smiled, “Aislin and the others are currently the best students in our Beastmaster Academy, aside from the Emperor class. I believe we can definitely defeat Yantian University this time.”

When participating in interstellar campus competitions like this, the Imperial Beastmaster Academy’s students generally don’t take any school other than Yantian University seriously.

Mikaela said calmly, “Don’t underestimate any student from a top university participating in the competition.”

Just as Aiden was about to speak, he caught sight of something and said with a smile, “Qiao San is here to train too! I’ve rarely seen students from the Imperial Class train in front of me, so this will finally open my eyes.”

Mikaela glanced over and saw Qiao San, but she chose not to interrupt.

The training she’d imagined didn’t begin.

Qiao San simply stood there for a moment, then looked in a certain direction.

Mikaela followed her gaze and spotted the approaching Steel Chief Kane.

Aiden started chatting. “You don’t know how excited the people at Yantian University were this morning when they heard a 17-year-old B-rank Beast Tamer had emerged from our school. It’s a shame I only heard about it from Aislin and the others; I didn’t see it myself.”

He then wondered, “Why is Qiao Sang standing there…”

Aiden’s voice abruptly stopped. He stared at the sudden white glow emanating from his pet nearby, bewildered and shocked.

He quickly asked, “Why does this evolved pet look so much like Qiao Sang’s Steel Chief Cain?” Honestly, it looked like Steel Chief Cain, but because the pet was emitting the light of evolution, he suspected he was mistaken.

Steel Chief Cain was a King-rank pet, and if it evolved, it would become an Imperial-rank pet.

Most importantly, Steel Chief Cain was a completely new form, and its subsequent evolutionary path was unknown.

If it truly evolved, Qiao Sang would be a 17-year-old B-rank Beast Tamer with two new Imperial-rank pets.

The mere thought of it was insane.

Mikaela looked at the pet in the distance, which was glowing white, and said calmly, “You’re not mistaken. It’s Steel Chief Kane.”

Aiden’s mind buzzed, and he felt a blank.

Mikaela continued, “But it hasn’t evolved, it’s only attempting to. Steel Chief Kane’s next stage is also a bond evolution. The bond between it and Qiao San is sufficient, but the energy within it isn’t yet sufficient to complete the evolution.”

Aiden’s mind began to work again.

After a long pause, he regained his voice: “That’s no different from a quasi-emperor…”

He looked at the scene in the distance and hesitated, “If the energy within it doesn’t reach the standard for evolution, will its size also change?”

Mikaela stared blankly at the distant white light, without answering.

The figure within the white light continued to grow, reaching a height of nearly forty meters, its form undergoing a noticeable shift.

The people and pets training nearby stopped and looked over,

including Aislin and the others.

Even though the figure within the white light hadn’t yet revealed itself, everyone felt the pressure of its size and retreated outside the training grounds, raising their phones, activating the camera function, and taking photos of it.

Flame Sky Star is teeming with pets, so naturally many evolve daily. But a creature this large clearly destined for the Royal or Emperor tier.

The evolution of a pet of this rank is a rare sight.

Everyone’s eyes blazed with excitement, except for Aislin and her companions, who were stunned.

If they had heard their conversation correctly, the pet now radiating the light of evolution must be Qiao Sang’s King-level pet, Steel Chief Kane…

Within the white light, the creature slowly grew larger, finally stopping at over forty meters.

“Evolution, success…” Mikaela muttered.

Hearing this, Aiden was momentarily stunned, blurting out, “Didn’t you say the energy hasn’t reached the requirements for evolution yet?”

Shocked by the situation, he momentarily forgot to maintain respect.

Having endured so much, Mikaela was the first to react. Remembering what Qiao Sang had said about Flame Sky University’s King Energy Potion and Night Ring King’s fans, he slowly exhaled, trying to maintain a calm tone.

“Just because it didn’t reach it before doesn’t mean it can’t reach it now.”

Aiden: “!!!”

Aiden’s mind buzzed, and then went blank again.

At the same moment, the dazzling white light vanished, and a pet, over forty meters tall, its body covered in purple feathers as hard as steel. Its wings, edged in crimson and razor-sharp, resembled giant blades. Its head, capped by an angular silver helmet, revealed a pair of piercing dark red eyes. Its beak was metallic, and its neck, shoulders, and abdomen were covered in additional silver armor. Its claws were crimson, edged with silver stripes.

Gang Bao glanced down, and an invisible sense of oppression spread.

Fear inevitably washed over the crowd and its pets.

Gang Bao, as if realizing something, withdrew his aura.

Everyone seemed to come alive again, gasping for air before stumbling back and running.

Soon, only a few people and pets remained in the open-air training ground.

The energy of a mid-level King was enough for Gang Bao to evolve… Qiao Sang, watching Gang Bao’s evolution, couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement.

“Xunxun…”

The Fourth Brother had evolved into an Emperor… Little Xunbao stared blankly at Steel Treasure’s Emperor form. It had clearly been Steel Treasure who had given him the potion, but for a moment, it was still a little hard to accept.   He

had always been stronger than the Fourth Brother…

Just as Little Xunbao was feeling confused, Steel Treasure, now over forty meters tall, looked over and called out,

“Steel Power!”   Almost 0.01 seconds after saying this, Little Xunbao suddenly understood, his heart blossoming like a hundred flowers.   His eyes lit up, and he nodded vigorously, responding,   ”Xunxun!” (End of this chapter)
