1246. Chapter 1241: Imperial Beastmaster Academy’s Participating Teams (Two-in-One)

Some people? Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment, then thought of their purpose and guessed,

“Are they from our Imperial Beastmaster Academy?”

“Yes,” Mikaela said. “They just arrived last night and are staying in this hotel.”

Qiao Sang didn’t seem to be repulsed.

They all went to the same school, so getting to know each other wouldn’t be a problem.

The elevator doors opened.

A man in a black short-sleeved shirt was already waiting at the entrance. He

had a clean-cut buzz cut and a strong face, but the wrinkles around his eyes suggested a hint of age, perhaps in his forties.

“Senior Mikaela!”

Mikaela smiled at the man who greeted him. “Long time no see.”

“It’s been over a decade since we last met, and you haven’t changed at all,” the man said enthusiastically. He looked at the girl beside him, sizing her up and down as if she were a rare pet, and asked, “Is this Qiao Sang?”

Although Qiao Sang had only spent a few days at the Imperial Beastmaster Academy and had never attended a formal class, he was a familiar figure to the teachers who had access to information about the Imperial Class.

Everyone knows that the Imperial Class has recruited an incredible beastmaster this year. Specially recruited at just C-rank, he’s now under the tutelage of Senior Mikaela.

He’s become a B-rank professional beastmaster while still a teenager, breeding two new pet forms on his own, and even contracting the legendary pet Qingqingni.

Every day, these events shock everyone.

Many are incredibly curious about this young beastmaster,

including him.

“That’s right,” Mikaela replied, then turned to Qiao Sang and introduced him:

“His name is Aiden, a teacher at our school, and the instructor for our team participating in the Interstellar Elite Schools Beastmaster Competition.”

“Hello, teacher,” Qiao Sang greeted.

“Hello, hello! I finally meet you in person,” Aiden said enthusiastically, examining the unfamiliar pets nearby, trying to identify them.

Soon, his gaze fell on Qingbao, and his eyes lit up.

The legendary pet! Qingyun Nana!

Seeing the other person looking at it, Qingbao smiled sweetly.

Aiden was stunned for a moment, then his eyes brightened.

Just as he was about to speak, Mikaela said,

“Let’s go in first.”

Hearing this, Aiden hurriedly led the way.

“Everyone is very excited to know you’re coming,” he said, opening the door.

Six people sat on the sofa in the luxurious living room: three men and three women. These were students selected from the Imperial Beastmaster Academy to participate in the Interstellar Elite Beastmaster Competition.

When the door opened, the six people stood up in unison and greeted respectfully:

“Teacher Mikaela.”

“Don’t be so reserved, everyone, take a seat,” Mikaela said.

Everyone sat down obediently, without any of the arrogance they usually displayed outside, such as “I’m a B-level Beastmaster, I’m an A-level Beastmaster.

” “This is Qiao Sang, a student of Teacher Mikaela,” Aiden introduced.

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions were startled, their gazes instantly focused on him.

Teacher Mikaela, Honorary Professor of the Imperial Beastmaster Academy and an S-Rank Beastmaster, rarely appeared at the school. In the past, his lectures were so hard to come by that many students had to seek help from the School of Mechanical Engineering to secure a spot.

Later, after becoming a teacher at the legendary Imperial Class, he rarely appeared in public again.

Imperial Class teachers taught Imperial Class students.

Since this person was a student of Teacher Mikaela’s, she must be a member of the Imperial Class. And she

looked so young…

Everyone’s eyes were filled with shock, curiosity, scrutiny, admiration, and a desire to compete.

The Imperial Class was the goal of every student at the Beastmaster Academy. Its members were all Beastmasters who had already achieved fame in major international and even interstellar competitions.

Crucially, the Imperial Class was typically selected from students who had passed the B-Rank or A-Rank Professional Beastmaster exams.

In other words, the Imperial Class was the most talented of the Imperial Beastmasters, and everyone should know them.

But none of them had ever seen or heard of the young woman in the Imperial Class before them.

Could it be that she hadn’t even attended the Beastmaster Academy, but had been directly selected for the Imperial Class upon admission?

Or was she a prodigy scouted from somewhere?

Qiao Sang felt the gazes fixed on her, her expression unchanged.

She was now accustomed to the spotlight.

Certain details about the Imperial Class were kept secret, making it difficult to find out except for members of the Imperial Class and the more experienced teachers.

Aiden wasn’t surprised that no one knew Qiao Sang, and continued,

“Didn’t the school recently collect data on the legendary pet Qing Qing Ni? That Qing Qing Ni is her pet.”

The legendary pet Qing Qing Ni? At these words, everyone’s bodies trembled, their gazes darting to the surrounding, the magnificent and mysterious pets, trying to spot her.

Although Qing Bao was now a general, he still wore the iconic white clouds from his Qing Qing Ni days. Everyone recognized him immediately, their gazes burning with excitement.

Finally, someone recognized him again… Qingbao felt the gazes of the humans before him and smiled sweetly.

The wind around him also grew lighter.

He had always known he was popular with humans, but after leaving the Hollow Region, fewer and fewer people recognized him, and his attention dwindled.

His own Beast Tamer teacher had used to pay him quite a bit of attention, but after Xia Lala appeared, he’d lost that feeling.

Now, that feeling had finally returned.

Qingbao had originally disliked being stared at by humans, but now that no one recognized him, he’d finally found the attention quite pleasant.

“Is this Qingyun Nana?” a woman with medium-length red hair, seemingly in her twenties, said with a hint of excitement. Those

who could participate in the Interstellar Elite Beast Tamer Tournament were either B-rank or A-rank Beast Tamers within their school. The Beast Tamer program lasted five years, so even by the fifth year, most would be C-rank Beast Tamers at best.

Those who desired to further their studies as a professional Beast Tamer would pursue postgraduate studies and doctoral degrees.

The Imperial Beast Taming Academy’s Master’s program in the Beast Taming Department lasts seven years.

The higher the Beast Tamer’s rank, the more support they receive and the longer their lifespan. These seven years aren’t particularly long for them.

During this time, students who achieve a B-rank Beast Tamer have the opportunity to participate in the assessments for admission to the Imperial Class.

Participating in the Interstellar Elite School Beast Tamer Tournament is one path to entry into the Imperial Class.

While few students achieve B-rank Beast Tamers during graduate school, as the second-most prestigious institution in the galaxy, there are still a number of talented individuals.

However, achieving a B-rank professional Beast Tamer before the age of thirty is merely the minimum requirement for admission to the Imperial Class; achieving B-rank before this age does not guarantee admission.

Some students who achieve B-rank Beast Tamer status before the age of thirty but fail the Imperial Class assessment, or who achieve B-rank Beast Tamer status in their early thirties, choose to pursue a doctorate.

Doctoral studies in Beast Taming typically take twenty years, and those who achieve A-rank Beast Tamer status before the age of fifty have the opportunity to participate in the assessment for admission to the Imperial Class.

This group of people are participating in the Interstellar Elite School Beast Tamer Tournament.

The woman, Aislin, appears to be in her twenties, but is actually in her early fifties, a true A-rank Beast Tamer.

She was older than the selection criteria for the Imperial Class, and this time she was participating purely for the honor, so she was much more relaxed than the other students still within the selection criteria.

“Yes,” Qiao Sang nodded.

“Qingqing,” Qingbao called out sweetly as a greeting.

Everyone’s eyes lit up, but because they were in front of Teacher Mikaela and the Imperial Class, they remained reserved and didn’t move forward.

Aislinn didn’t think too much about it, exclaiming “Ah!” with a “so cute” expression. She looked at Qiao Sang for his opinion and asked,

“Can I pet Qingyun Nana?”

Qiao Sang looked at Qingbao and asked, “Is it okay?”

“Qingqing,”

Qingbao nodded with a smile.

“It said yes,” Qiao Sang said.

Aislinn immediately stepped forward, eagerly petting it.

“I want to, too…” The other five looked on with envy.

Qingbao didn’t move, allowing it to be petted.

While being petted, it shot a smug look at Xiao Xunbao, as if to say, “Look, I’m still so popular.”

Xiao Xunbao said nothing, silently pulling out his phone and opening his livestream account. He pointed the screen at Qingbao, pointed at the million followers, and grinned.

Qingbao: “…”

Michaela and Aiden were already chatting nearby.

The five of them exchanged glances, and finally someone couldn’t help but ask,

“Senior Qiao, when did you get into the Imperial Class?”

Senior Qiao… Qiao Sang paused as he looked at the man in front of him, with slicked-back hair and a generation older than himself.

“I just got into the Imperial Class this year.”

“Senior Qiao, how did you get into the Imperial Class?” a nearby woman in a white casual suit asked.

“Nothing. They just let me in directly,” Qiao Sang replied.

Sure enough, it wasn’t an on-campus selection… Everyone gave him a look of “As expected.”

That made sense why no one had ever heard of or seen the young senior before them.

Qiao Sang hesitated for a moment before saying, “Don’t call me Senior. Just call me Qiao Sang.”

“How can that be? Even if you’re younger than us, once you’ve joined the Imperial Class, you’re our Senior,” said a young man with curly brown hair, seemingly in his early twenties.

Beastmasters who reach C-Rank at a young age experience a gradual slowing of outward aging. However, even if they appear youthful, their inner selves are not. A certain age is easily discernible from their eyes and demeanor.

Especially for high-ranking Beastmasters who maintain a youthful appearance, it’s almost impossible to tell at a glance whether they’re just appearing youthful or genuinely so.

Senior Qiao from the Imperial Class, while perhaps not as youthful as she appears, clearly possesses genuine youthfulness, not just feigning it.

Qiao Sang was about to speak when Mikaela looked over and said with a smile,

“You’d better stop calling her Senior. It makes her sound old.”

Calling her old? Even the younger members of the Imperial Class typically become B-Rank Beastmasters in their late twenties, with four of them being around the same age.

Even if there is a gap, how big can it be?

Although everyone was confused, they all had an expression of “I know what I mean”.

Before they could say anything, Aiden smiled and added:

“Your senior sister Qiao is only seventeen years old now.”

How much? Seventeen years old?! Everyone could no longer control their facial expressions, revealing obvious shock and astonishment.

Even Aislin, who had been immersed in finding the treasure, looked over with a confused look on her face.

It is well known that the lowest-ranking student in the Imperial Class is also a B-level Beastmaster.

In other words, the girl in front of them is a seventeen-year-old B-level Beastmaster?

Seventeen years old?

What do they do when they are seventeen?

Can anyone really become a B-level Beastmaster at this age?

Everyone’s mind was in a mess, feeling that the combination of this age and this level of Beastmaster was far beyond their cognition.

Qiao Sang enjoyed everyone’s expressions and repeated his previous words:

“So everyone should just call me by my name.”

After two seconds of silence, everyone could no longer maintain their previous restraint and excitedly crowded up, talking one after another:

“You were a B-level Beast Tamer at the age of seventeen. When did you awaken your brain area? Did your brain area awaken at birth?”

“No wonder I said you looked so young, it turns out you are really that young!”

“This is the first time I’ve seen such a young B-level Beast Tamer! If those guys at Yantian University knew that our school had such a young B-level Beast Tamer, how could they still say things like ‘the first choice of the top talents in the entire galaxy will be their school’!”

“I wanted to ask just now, what races are all your pets? Except for Qingyun Nana, Yehuanwang and Xianxianpu, I can’t recognize several of the others.”

“The school is incredibly secretive! We didn’t even hear about a genius like you emerging from the Imperial Class.”

If the other person were just a student in the Imperial Class, everyone would be skeptical. But considering their young age, they were filled with shock and wonder, “How could such a gifted person exist in the world?”

Especially when such a person attended the same school, they felt an inexplicable excitement, eager to take this peerless prodigy on a tour of Yantian University.

In an instant, Qing Bao was forgotten, and Qiao Sang became the most noticeable presence.

Aiden watched as his students surrounded the girl. He opened his mouth to speak, instinctively wanting to shield the demon from the imperial class, lest their over-enthusiasm embarrass her. But then, remembering that the other teachers were standing by and saying nothing, he decided it wasn’t necessary.

Then, Mikaela said, “I remember that the teachers who led the previous StarCraft Elite Beast Taming Tournaments would always lend a Guilun Saier.”

“Did you bring your Guilun Saier this time?” (End of Chapter)
