1186. Chapter 1181: Leaving Ou Yasi without Saying Goodbye (Two in One)

Zhengzhou? Qiao Sang was stunned. “Have we already left Menzhou?”

Mikaela hummed. “We left Menzhou an hour ago.”

Zhengzhou, the neighboring city of Menzhou, boasts an average daily temperature of 48 degrees Celsius. Even if born there, ordinary people and their pets simply cannot survive, earning it the designation of one of the “Furnace Cities.”

Despite this, many beastmasters and pets from other cities settle there for a while. It’s been discovered that fire-type pets spending extended periods in warmer cities experience more active fire energy, shortening the time it takes to accumulate energy.

A hundred years later, the neighboring city was still called Zhengzhou, so Qiao Sang knew some of the relevant information, not completely unfamiliar.

She felt the temperature around her and thought it didn’t seem particularly hot.

“Lili,”

she thought, as Li Oyas called out to the ice jellyfish, silently emitting a chilling air, signaling it to retract its chill.

“Yuanyuan…”

The ice jellyfish froze for a moment, instinctively turning to look at Qiao Sang, Mikaela, and Yabao.

It always remembered its job was to emit cooling air. If it didn’t need it, it would be the customer who called for it to stop.

“Tingting!”

Before Qiao Sang could say anything, Tingbao shook his head like a rattle and barked.

It couldn’t be cooled down, or it would be scorching hot!

“Lili.”

Li Ou Ya Si looked at it and barked softly, implying that if it couldn’t even handle this little heat, how could it possibly become stronger?

“Ya Ya!”

Ya Bao nodded in agreement.

Xiao Xun Bao handed it the energy pills and fruit.

Ya Bao’s eyes lit up, instantly forgetting about becoming stronger and devouring them with big mouthfuls.

“Tingting…”

Tingbao’s expression was torn.

On the one hand, it felt it couldn’t live without this cooling air, but on the other, it felt it truly needed to become stronger, otherwise its own beastmaster wouldn’t even take it with him when he went out.

Just like today.

“Xia Xia.”

At this moment, Xia La La, with her colorful buds, barked calmly, indicating that there was no need to cool down; she felt a bit hot too.

Upon hearing this, Li Ou Ya Si looked at Xia La La with her colorful buds and said nothing more, a compromise.

“Tingting…”

Tingbao sighed in relief.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to become stronger.

The original ice jellyfish continued to emit a chilling aura.

“Now that we’re out of Menzhou, do we need to find a place to stay?” Qiao Sang asked.

Mikala didn’t answer, instead looking at Shala Lala, who was away from Oyas and the colorful buds.

She knew she had no say at the moment.

“Lili,”

Oyas called out, indicating that if they needed to find a place to stay, they could go ahead; he still had to keep running.

He closed his eyes.

“Steel Chief,”

Gangbao translated in his mind.

There were some similarities between him and the spirit form, like when he didn’t want to talk much, he’d go to sleep… Qiao Sang grumbled internally for a moment, then said seriously, “I think staying here for the night is fine. We’ll go together after we’ve rested.”

As they talked, Little Xunbao continued to pull out a pile of food from the ring.

Besides Big Brother Yabao, he remembered that his own beastmaster and Lubao hadn’t eaten either.

Soon, the aroma of various foods wafted through the air.

Qiao Sang, Mikala, and Lubao quickly began to eat.

The aroma of food filled his nostrils, lingering on his taste buds. Li Ou Ya Si unconsciously sniffed, suddenly feeling hungry.

He opened his eyes, but remained silent, watching quietly.

The first person to notice Li Ou Ya Si was Xia La La. She paused for a moment, then picked up a fruit and walked over to Li Ou Ya Si, offering it to him.   ”Xia Xia,”

she called out. ”   Fool, that’s not what he wants to eat…” Li Ou Ya Si glanced at Xia La La, his gaze settling on her golden flower buds. Suddenly, his desire to eat vanished, and he closed his eyes again.   ”Xia Xia…”   Xia La La’s expression was bewildered.   He clearly sensed she wanted to eat…   A fleeting thought flashed through his mind, and Li Ou Ya Si suddenly opened his eyes again, took the fruit from Xia La La’s hand, and placed it in his mouth, swallowing it whole.   ”Xia Xia.”   Xia La La was stunned for a moment, then laughed.   Seeing this, Xia La La, with her colorful flower buds, couldn’t help but smile too.   The flowers and trees in the valley rustled in the wind.   Qiao Sang handed a green berry to the colorful bud’s Shalala and said,   ”Want some? This is called the wood-fragrant fruit, a newly cultivated fruit.”   ”Xia Xia,”   the colorful bud’s Shalala glanced at the human before her, took the berry, tasted it, and calmly called out, declaring it delicious.   Qiao Sang smiled, “I haven’t tried it, but I imagine it’ll taste good. After all, you a hundred years from now…”   At this point, she paused, realizing something was amiss.   ”Xia Xia,”   the colorful bud’s Shalala’s expression remained unchanged. She ate the berry and calmly called out, suggesting that her future self would also enjoy the taste.   Qiao Sang was silent for a moment, then hummed.   ”Xia Xia?”   the colorful bud’s Shalala turned and called out in confusion. ”   Are you feeling sorry for me? Why?   Damn, what are you talking about…” Michaela pricked up her ears, but unfortunately, she couldn’t understand a word.   She couldn’t help but glance in the direction of Peng Jiamei and the Dragon King, but they were so engrossed in their food that they didn’t notice their beastmaster’s gaze.   Is there any need to ask this question… Qiao Sang’s eyes conveyed her meaning.   ”Xia Xia.”   Xia Lala, with her colorful buds, understood, smiled, and called out, “There’s absolutely no need to feel sad for me. A hundred years from now, I’ll be very happy, won’t I?”

Upon hearing this, Qiao Sang looked towards Xia Lala, a century later.

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao held out potato chips to Xia Lala.

“Xia Xia…”

Xia Lala shook her head, her expression full of rejection.

She didn’t like eating things she wasn’t familiar with.

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao stuffed the chips directly into Xia Lala’s mouth.

Xia Lala was stunned for a moment, then instinctively took a bite. Then her eyes lit up:

“Xia Xia!”

“Xunxun~”

Little Xunbao gave her an expression of “I told you so.

” “Qingqing,”

Qingbao casually called out from the side, suggesting that if you like, let Little Xunbao give you all the chips.

Xia Lala’s eyes fell on the bag of chips in Little Xunbao’s paw.

“Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao quickly turned to block the chips and called out, indicating that he couldn’t give them all!

“Xia Xia~”

Xia Lala couldn’t help but laugh.

Qiao Sang’s brows relaxed at this scene, and he felt a little relieved.

After a few seconds, she thought of something, picked up a bag of potato chips from the ground, opened it, and handed it to Xia Lala from the Colorful Buds, saying,

“Have some too.”

“Xia Xia.”

Xia Lala from the Colorful Buds was stunned for a moment, then took the bag, took a bite, and then her brows relaxed.

Late at night.

In the valley,

the scorching heat of the day slowly subsided in the quiet valley, and the evening breeze was even refreshing.

Qiao Sang, Mikaela, and Yabao all fell asleep.

Li Ou Ya Si, who had been shutting his eyes, suddenly opened them, looked at Xia La La with colorful buds, then at Xia La La with golden buds, and stood up to leave.

“Xun Xun~”

Little Xun Bao floated over to Li Ou Ya Si and called out curiously, asking where he was going. Li Ou

Ya Si’s eyes

fell on him. An indescribable sense of oppression suddenly washed over him.

Before he could react, his eyes rolled back and he fainted.

…

The next morning,

Qiao Sang was awakened by a burst of shouts of “Xun Xun! Xun Xun! “

She opened her eyes and saw little Xun Bao standing before her, calling out anxiously.

“What’s wrong…” Qiao Sang asked drowsily.

“Xun Xun!” Little Xun Bao called out anxiously.

What? Li Ou Ya Si is gone?!

Qiao Sang instantly woke up, abruptly standing up and turning to look at the spot where Li Ou Ya Si had lain the previous night. Sure enough, there was no sign of him.

Mikaela, now awake, asked gravely, “Didn’t you hear anything yesterday?”

“Pun-pun,”

Peng Jiamei shook her head.

“Mo-mo,”

the Dragon King yawned and called out, implying that even Peng Jiamei hadn’t heard anything, so how could it possibly have?

“Reli…”

Jeri Roca glanced at the colorful bud’s Sharala.

But the colorful bud’s Sharala ignored him, a thoughtful expression on her face, her thoughts unsettling.

“Didn’t you see how Li Ou Ya Si left yesterday?” Qiao Sang couldn’t help but ask, looking at the little Xunbao.

“Xun-xun…”

The little Xunbao cried out with a look of grievance.

He glanced at me, and I fainted.

Qiao Sang’s heart sank at that.

If that was true, Li Ou Ya Si had left on purpose, and he didn’t want them to know.

Teacher Mikala and I definitely didn’t have that kind of status. If it wanted to leave, it would have gone straight away, no need to wait until everyone was asleep. It didn’t want Xia Lala to know… Qiao Sang gathered his thoughts, his gaze landing on Xia Lala of the Colorful Buds. He asked,

“Can you contact Li Ou Ya Si now?”

“Xia Xia,”

Xia Lala of the Colorful Buds called out, then reached for a flowerpot on the ground, pulled out a phone, and dialed.

“Xia Xia,”

she said after a few seconds, shaking her head.

Mikala said gravely,

“Li Ou Ya Si left on his own initiative. We definitely can’t contact him. We’ll have to find him ourselves.”

Qiao Sang nodded gravely, then thought of something and asked expectantly,

“Can we try asking the plants like we did yesterday?”

“Xia Xia,”

Xia Lala of the Colorful Buds nodded, then placed her paw on a nearby flower. A

green light emanated from the tip of her paw, radiating outward.

“Ya Ya…”

At the same moment, Ya Bao slowly awoke.

“Xunxun!”

Little Xunbao called out anxiously. “

Brother Yabao, you’re only waking up now! Li Ou Ya Si is gone!

” “Ya Ya?!”

Yabao woke up instantly, leaping to his feet. He looked around, and seeing Li Ou Ya Si was nowhere to be found, he cried out,

“Ya Ya!”

Its evolution material!

“Xia Xia.”

Just then, Xia Lala of the Colorful Buds looked over and called out, announcing the discovery.

Qiao Sang: “!!!”

Yabao: “!!!”

…

The grass, flowers, and trees swayed without a breeze, signaling the direction.

High in the sky, Yabao followed Xia Lala’s instructions, flapping his wings and running swiftly, but he could never catch up to Li Ou Ya Si.

Little Xunbao even teleported several times.

Unfortunately, each time he reached the direction, the grass and trees told him that Li Ou Ya Si had left and gone somewhere else.

Xia Lala of the Colorful Buds again guided him.

Yabao ran tirelessly through the sky.

Time slipped by, the sun set, the moon rose, and day gradually turned to night.

Gradually, day and night returned, and darkness turned to day.

Under Lubao’s healing light, Yabao remained awake, running non-stop.

Even at its usual mealtime, it didn’t rest. Instead, it opened its mouth and let Xiaoxunbao pour an energy pill into its mouth, taking a couple of bites.

Three days later, Mikaela gazed at the barren rocky landscape below and hesitated,

“Why do I feel like we’re back in Zhengzhou?”

“Xiaxia,”

Xia Lala, with her colorful buds, picked up her phone, located the location, and after a moment, called out, indicating that this was Zhengzhou.

After wandering around for so many days, he’s actually back… Qiao Sang looked surprised. Then, looking down, a thought struck her. She asked,

“Could it be that Li Ou Ya Si knew we were chasing him, and that Xia La La had found his location by asking the grass and trees, so he ran to this place where there’s so little grass?”

Mika La paused.

“Probably not. As long as Li Ou Ya Si keeps running, we can’t catch him. Besides, it’s hot on Yantian Star, and there are many places without grass. He wouldn’t have to turn back just for this reason.”

Qiao Sang pondered for a few seconds and offered another possibility:

“Then is it possible that Li Ou Ya Si is actually directionally challenged?”

Mika La was silent.

It was indeed possible.

“Ya Ya?”

Ya Bao stopped and called out, indicating which direction they were heading.

“Xia Xia,”

the colorful bud’s Xia Lala called out, signaling to wait.

Then, its eyes glowed green, and its ears pricked up, sensing.

“Xia Xia,”

a moment later, the green light faded, and it pointed to the left and called out.

Although this was considered barren land, with few weeds, any single plant could tell Xia Lala what it wanted to know.

Without a word, Ya Bao turned and ran to the left.

“Xia Xia,”

after soaring through the sky like a blaze for more than ten minutes, the colorful bud’s Xia Lala suddenly called out.

Ya Bao abruptly stopped.

Qiao Sang looked down but saw no sign of Li Oyas.

However, the temperature here was noticeably higher than elsewhere, the air distorted by the heat.

“Original Ice…”

The original ice jellyfish, which had been emitting a chill, seemed unable to bear it and collapsed weakly on Ya Bao’s back.

“Ting Ting!”

Ting Bao anxiously shouted around the original ice jellyfish.

Lu Bao emerged from the backpack, emitting a chill.

Tingbao instantly forgot about the original ice jellyfish, his eyes brightening as he ran towards Lubao.

Qiao Sang stared down, stunned for a moment, then asked in shock,

“What is this?”

The wasteland wasn’t entirely wasteland. Under the scorching sun, the densely packed ground below shone with a dazzling red light, creating a strong visual contrast with the surrounding desolate scene. (End of this chapter)
