1181. Chapter 1176: Michaela Hundred Years Ago (Two in One)

“So what should we do now?” Qiao Sang asked.

Mikaela pondered for a moment, then uttered a single word: “Wait.”

“Wait for Li Oyas to arrive?” Qiao Sang asked.

“Yes,” Mikaela said. “I remember the fireball fell on July 17th. It’s July 10th now, so there’s still a week left. Li Oyas will definitely appear here on the day of the fireball or the day before. It should be easier to find him then.”

She had already inquired about the time.

A week… Qiao Sang pondered for a few seconds, then caught a glimpse of Sha Lala standing quietly beside him. Something struck her, and she paused, her expression complex.

“Will Sha Lala be here too?”

Mikaela was silent for a moment, then nodded.

“Yes.”

A momentary silence fell.

“Jiujiu?”

At this moment, as if hearing a key word, the Night Demon recovered from its heartbreak, a puzzled expression on its face, and called out. Sha Lala

?

Was that the Sha Lala it was thinking of?

Mikala glanced at it. “That’s the Shallala you were thinking of.”

“Jiujiu!”

Jiuyemo’s eyes lit up, and he barked, signaling that he’d stay with you for the next week and that he’d see Shallala, too.

Shallala, resembling a fresh-faced puff, blinked.

“Jiujiu…”

Just as he finished speaking, Jiuyemo seemed to have a thought, sighed, and barked.

Forget it. The Interstellar Cup was about to begin, and he had to prepare for it. He’d definitely have to spend a lot of time training during this time. If he didn’t, the beastmasters of this plane would nag him to death.

Upon hearing this, the Dragon King hesitated to speak, but ultimately took a sip of his drink and snorted coldly before giving up.

“Jiujiu!”

Jiuyemo, perking up again, barked. “

If you run into Shallala, you can let me know, or have Pengamei come pick me up.”

Pengamei didn’t say anything.

Mikala was silent for two seconds, then said,

“Okay.”

“Jiujiu!”

Jiuyemo was delighted.

Suddenly, a ghost-type pet, about a meter tall, wearing a miniature miniaturizing bracelet and stylishly dressed, passed by the window.

Night Demon’s gaze was instantly fixed on it, a look of amazement on its face. It then quickly picked up the flowers, darted through the window, and approached the stylishly dressed ghost-type pet, offering them graciously.

The stylishly dressed ghost-type pet looked at Night Demon for a moment, a shy expression on its face, before accepting the flowers.

A moment later, Night Demon and the stylishly dressed ghost-type pet departed together, affectionately.

Qiao Sang glanced at Teacher Mikala with a complicated expression.

Mikala took a sip of her coffee, seemingly unsurprised by the scene.

“Let’s find a place to stay first,” Qiao Sang suggested.

“Okay,” Mikala said, calling the waiter for the bill.

“Hello, a total of 354 Alliance Coins,” the waiter quoted the price.

Mikala instinctively pulled out her card and handed it over.

The waiter took it, swiped it across the card machine, and handed it back, smiling.

“Sorry, your card isn’t accepted. Would you like to try another payment method?”

Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment, thinking he’d almost forgotten this was a hundred years ago. It seemed like neither money nor cards from a hundred years ago could be accepted…

Michaela stiffened, then recovered. He calmly took the card back and said,

“I’ll pay later.”

“Okay,” the waiter said, smiling as he left.

The pets on this table were all new to him, including a dragon-type pet, Moda Flying Dragon. He didn’t think this table of guests would be unable to pay.

After the waiter left, Michaela immediately said,

“Bring back Jiubugu.”

“Pun-Pun,”

Peng Jiamei cried, then vanished.

A few seconds later, it returned out of thin air, carrying Jiuyemo.

“Jiujiu!”

Jiuyemo cried out in extreme dissatisfaction.

“Give me all the money you have on you first,” Michaela said.

“Jiujiu?”

Jiuyemo let out a “huh?” expression.

You ruined my date just to ask for money?

“When you go back, you can ask me to pay you back double,” Mikaela said.

“Jiujiu!”

Jiuyemo looked disgruntled.

Is this about money?

Mikaela pondered, then said, “When you go back, you can ask me to find you a partner.”

“Jiujiu…”

Jiuyemo gave a “that’s more than enough” look, pouting, suppressing his happiness as he pulled out a card.

“Password,” Mikaela asked.

“Jiujiu,”

Jiuyemo called out.

The time of our contract.

Mikaela was stunned.

She had never imagined the password would be this.

“Jiujiu?”

Jiuyemo called out, indicating if there was anything else.

“Momo,”

the Dragon King called out from the side, indicating that there was nothing else, so go ahead.

“Jiujiu.”

Jiuyemo heard this and impatiently transformed into a streak of black light, flashing outward to chase the ghost-type pet that had just agreed to eat with it.

Gangbao helped translate the above conversation in his mind.

Qiao Sang couldn’t help but ask, “I think the Night Demon can find a partner on his own, so why does he need your help to find one?”

Michaela sighed and said,

“You can see that he falls in love with every girl

he meets.” She stopped here, looking unwilling to say more.

Why does Teacher Mikala always contract such troublesome pets? Or are Yabao and the others the more obedient? Qiao Sang sighed inwardly, but didn’t ask any more questions.

After paying, he left the cafe and found a nearby hotel.

“Let’s get the largest suite,” Mikala said, walking straight to the front desk.

“Okay,” the staff member said, “ID, please.”

Peng Jiamei didn’t hesitate, her eyes flashing blue.

“You’ve seen our valid ID,” Mikala said calmly.

The staff member’s expression froze, then smiled, handed over the room card, and said,

“Your room is 2019. The elevator is on the left.”

“Xunxun…”

Little Xunbao was stunned for a moment, then floated to Peng Jiamei’s side and whispered ingratiatingly, asking if he could teach him that trick. “Pen Peng,”   Peng Jiamei glanced at him and barked.

” We’ll talk about it   when we get back. Now, let’s get down to business.   ” “Xunxun~”   Little Xunbao nodded repeatedly.   He took the elevator to the 20th floor and entered the suite.   Little Xunbao subconsciously took off the ring and tried to take out daily necessities and toiletries from it.   After only a few seconds, it suddenly remembered something and turned to its own beastmaster and called out:   ”Xunxun~”   There are many things I didn’t bring with me, so I have to go out and buy them.   Qiao Sang looked at Teacher Mikaela, coughed, and said:

“We forgot some things, so we need to go out and buy them.”

This meant paying for them.

Mikaela handed over the card given by Jiuyemo, gave the password, and instructed,

“Buy more things your grass-type pets need.”

“Understood.” Qiao Sang took the card and left the suite.

Yabao and the others, along with Xia Lala, followed without a second thought.

“Yuanyuan…”

Yuan Ice Jellyfish, seeing no one to direct her, unsure of what to do, quietly moved to a corner of the room, emitting a chill.

“Tingting!”

Tingbao, about to take flight, felt the chill and paused, calling out to his beastmaster’s back, indicating that he wouldn’t be joining them.

Qiao Sang raised her hand and waved back, indicating that it was okay.

With Teacher Mikaela around and Tingbao staying in the room, she had nothing to worry about.

A hundred years ago, the navigation and maps on her phone would naturally become obsolete. Qiao Sang could only wander around, looking for shops that could provide the items she needed.

The weather was scorching, but thanks to Lubao’s silent cooling air, Xiaoxunbao and Qingbao could stroll with vigor.

Soon, Qiao Sang noticed a sudden increase in the number of people and pets around them.

The faster she walked, the quicker their pace; the slower she walked, the slower their pace.

Whether a hundred years later or a hundred years ago, it seemed people’s desire for cool air remained unchanged… Qiao Sang silently grumbled.

But this time, she didn’t ask Lubao to cool down like she had the previous two times.

“Little girl, what’s that prop you’re carrying? It’s quite cool,” a simply dressed woman approached, smiling.

Qiao Sang turned to look at her.

The woman explained, “My daughter’s going to college soon, and I want to buy her something cool to wear.”

She smiled, “You look about the same age as my daughter.”

Qiao Sang fell silent.

She thought of her mother and then of the fireball that would soon follow.

“It’s not a prop, it’s my pet,” Qiao Sang said after a pause.

“That’s a shame.” The woman, disappointed at the words, gave up trying to cool off and quietly left the crowd.

Everyone had their own destination, and though they were reluctant to leave, every few steps, people and pets left.

The people and pets around them changed constantly.

As time passed, they had almost finished their shopping.

Suddenly, Xia Lala looked in a certain direction, as if drawn to a figure.

She froze, wanting to speak, but noticing the crowd of people and pets around, she remained silent, gently tugging at Qiao Sang’s clothes.

Qiao Sang looked down and saw Xia Lala, as if she wanted to say something but couldn’t. He immediately understood and called out,

“Lu Bao.”

Lu Bao understood, gathering the chill within her backpack.

The surrounding temperature suddenly grew oppressive.

Soon, everyone dispersed.

“What’s wrong?” Qiao Sang asked gently.

“Xia Xia,”

Xia Lala called, pointing to a figure not far away.

Qiao Sang glanced over and saw it was Peng Jiamei.

Why did Peng Jiamei come out? Wasn’t she in the room with Teacher Mikala?

“Xunxun~”

Just as Qiao Sang was about to go over, little Xunbao took the lead, teleporting next to Peng Jiamei and calling out.

“Pen Peng?”

Peng Jiamei stopped, looking at him with a puzzled expression.

“Xunxun…”

Little Xunbao was stunned.

Just as he was stunned, Qiao Sang approached and asked,

“Why are you out? Where’s the teacher? Did Tingbao and No. 3 come out too?”

Peng Jiamei didn’t answer, but looked at her with a puzzled look, as if asking, “Who are you? What are you talking about?”

Qiao Sang saw Peng Jiamei’s expression and suddenly realized something.

This was Peng Jiamei from a hundred years ago…

He remembered that Peng Jiamei and Teacher Mikala were almost inseparable. If Peng Jiamei was here, then Teacher Mikala from a hundred years ago… As the thought

flashed through his mind, a very familiar voice echoed behind him:

“Who are you?”

Qiao Sang turned and saw that it was Teacher Mikala who spoke.

The difference was that her smooth black hair had grown down to her waist, and she was wearing black sunglasses and a baseball cap. Her outfit was different, making her look like she was in her twenties.

Oh my goodness, I just ran into Teacher Mikala from a hundred years ago… Qiao Sang’s heart skipped a beat, inexplicably excited.

“Ya Ya?”

Ya Bao glanced to the side.

Where’s Ting Bao?

“Xun Xun…”

Little Xun Bao floated to Ya Bao’s side and called out in a low voice.

“Ya Ya…”

Ya Bao showed a look of sudden realization, then curiously examined Mikala and Peng Jia Mei from a hundred years ago.

Qiao Sang thought for a moment, deciding not to reveal their time travel.

“I just thought you looked familiar…”

Mikala gently pushed his sunglasses down, looked at the girl before him, then put them back on. A smile curled his lips, and he said,

“Looks like you recognized me.”

Qiao Sang: “???”

“Want a photo or an autograph?” Mikala asked.

… Qiao Sang was silent for a moment, then said,

“Take a picture.”

Mikaela smiled faintly, “Then take a picture.”

At this stage, Teacher Mikaela should be participating in the StarCraft Cup soon. Before participating in the StarCraft Cup, she must have participated in many international competitions. It’s reasonable to think that people who know her would want to take pictures and get autographs… Qiao Sang analyzed this internally while taking out her phone, turning on the camera function, and freezing the picture of the two of them together.

In order to conform to her fan image, after taking the picture, she said,

“Please do your best in the StarCraft Cup.”

Mikaela said proudly:

“Of course, I will win.”

Qiao Sang: “…”

No, you’re out in the first round…

“I believe you can win too.” Qiao Sang put away her phone and said, “Then I won’t bother you for now.”

“Wait.” Mikaela said.

Qiao Sang looked over.

“Since we’re destined to meet, I’ll sign for you again.” Mikaela smiled, showing her white teeth.

Qiao Sang: “…”

I didn’t expect that a hundred years ago, Teacher Mikaela, you would be like this…

“But I didn’t bring a pen,” Qiao Sang said.

“It’s okay, I brought one.” Mikaela said, pulling out a pen from her bag and asking, “Where do you want me to sign?”

Qiao Sang was silent.

Before she could answer, Mikaela asked, “How about on your backpack?”

I really want to see what you’ll look like when you see my signature a hundred years from now… Qiao Sang turned slightly, facing her backpack, and said, “Of course.”

Mikaela picked up the pen and signed with a dashing hand.

While signing, Qiao Sang suddenly remembered something and asked,

“Can your Peng Jiamei speak the language of other races? For example, the language of Yin Gou Dun?”

“What’s so difficult about that?” Mikaela put away her pen and said with a smile, “Meimei, tell her.”

Peng Jiamei opened her mouth and called out,

“Yin Gou.”

The voice was exactly the same… Qiao Sang praised, “That’s amazing.”

Mikaela accepted the praise calmly.

After bidding farewell to Mikaela and Peng Jiamei from a hundred years ago, Qiao Sang took Yabao and the others and walked towards the hotel.

Although there was no navigation, fortunately, she had a good memory and would not forget the way even if she only walked once. (End of this chapter)
