Chapter 1820 The Site of Ruins

“You mean, Xiao’e transformed into a divine temple and sealed that ‘Dark Sect Master’ for ten years?!”

After hearing Li Luo recount the many major events that occurred after their self-imposed exile into the depths of the void, Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan finally looked up in shock, gazing at the black sun and blood moon at the end of the sky.

There, indeed, was a mysterious and magnificent group of divine temples.

Familiar auras emanated from those temples.

Li Luo nodded.

Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan exchanged a glance, secretly relieved. Thankfully, Qing’e had only transformed into a group of divine temples to seal the Dark Sect Master, not perished. Compared to the worst possible outcome, this was much more acceptable.

“I never imagined that the ‘Myriad Forms Seed’ we obtained from that sect’s ruins was actually a scheme by that ‘Dark Sect Master.'” Tantai Lan then felt some self-reproach. Now, Li Luo’s Myriad Forms Seed had been taken away, and his astrological attributes had dissipated—all because of this calamity.

“If I had known this would happen, I shouldn’t have gone in there back then,” she said, her eyes slightly red.

Li Luo smiled and shook his head, saying, “That won’t do. If you don’t go in, then I won’t have such a good wife.”

Tantai Lan was speechless for a moment, then nodded, “That makes sense. I really can’t bear to lose such a good daughter-in-law as Xiao’e.”

Li Taixuan nodded in agreement; the family had reached a great deal of consensus on this point.

Then they all laughed, their mood easing somewhat.

“Disturbing the three of you at this time is rather inappropriate,” Jiang Tianwang’s laughter came from the side.

Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan both clasped their hands in thanks to Jiang Tianwang for his help in guiding them.

“King Xuan, King Lan, you are probably aware of the current situation in Shenzhou. Her Majesty the Goddess transformed herself into a divine palace, sealing away the Dark Sect Master for ten years. Nearly four years have passed…”

“So there are still six years. In six years, the Dark Sect Master will descend upon the world as a true ‘Tenth-Rank Realm’ expert. At that time, no one will be able to restrain her.”

“According to what Her Majesty the Goddess said before the seal, perhaps only within the ‘Ruins of the Headquarters of the Formless Holy Sect’ can we find a glimmer of hope for salvation.”

“However, over the years, our Shenzhou Heavenly Kings have exhausted all their efforts, yet we have not found a trace of those ruins. And now, only two of you have mistakenly entered them back then. I wonder… do you have any clues?” King Jiang looked at Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan, asking with a bitter smile. They

had exhausted all their efforts in searching for the Ruins of the Formless Holy Sect, turning almost the entire Ten Great Shenzhou upside down, but those ruins seemed to have completely vanished from the world, leaving no trace.

The Heavenly Kings were also at their wits’ end. Their all-out effort to bring Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan back was to obtain some useful information from them.

“The headquarters ruins of the Wuxiang Holy Sect?”

Upon hearing this, Li Taixuan and Tantai Lan’s expressions shifted. They exchanged a glance and said, “Perhaps in this world, only the two of us truly know a clue to that ruin.” Upon hearing this,

Heavenly King Jiang’s eyes immediately lit up with surprise.

Tantai Lan didn’t keep them in suspense but directly said, “It’s normal that you can’t find the location of that ruin, because within the Wuxiang Holy Sect’s sect ruins lies the last aspect of the sect master’s essence.”

Li Luo, Heavenly King Jiang, and the others were all shocked. They naturally knew that the essence left behind by the sect master still had one dual aspect that had never appeared in the world.

That was…

“The Void Mist aspect?” Li Luo asked softly.

The so-called Void Mist was the spatial aspect and the mist aspect, also the sect master’s last dual aspect.

Tantai Lan nodded and said, “Actually, that sect’s ruins have always existed on the Ten Great Continents. Although it sometimes moves with the space, it is not exactly hidden. The reason you cannot find it is simply because it is shrouded in a mysterious mist. This mist can even cover a corner of the long river of time. Its concealment ability is unparalleled, so naturally you cannot find it.”

“The power of the Mist…” King Jiang exclaimed in surprise, finally understanding why they had spent years searching through countless forbidden zones across the Ten Great Divine Continents without finding any trace of the ruins.

It turned out that they were obscured by that terrifying mist. Perhaps the ruins were right before their eyes; they had searched for them countless times, but always missed them.

Li Luo pondered for a moment, then asked, “How did you get in back then, Father and Mother?”

“Back then, during a training exercise, Tai Xuan and I happened to enter the area where that ruin had appeared. My spatial aura resonated with that sect master’s spatial aura, creating a spatial rift for a period of time. We just happened to get in. It can only be described as a coincidence.”

“No…”

At this point, Tantai Lan’s voice suddenly paused, her eyes darkening. “Perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence, but a scheme devised by that Dark Sect Master.”

She used to think it was a coincidence, but with the Dark Sect Master’s appearance and the theft of Li Luo’s Myriad Manifestations Seed, it was no longer a coincidence.

It was a scheme.

That Dark Sect Master was terrifying; his strength had reached an unimaginable level, allowing him to devise this scheme over such a long period.

Li Tai Xuan also fell silent, his eyes grim, clearly extremely angry at the Dark Sect Master who had plotted against them.

Li Luo reached out and grasped Tantai Lan’s hand to comfort her, saying, “Mother, don’t worry about it. These are all things of the past. The most important thing now is to plan for the future.”

“We need to find that sect’s ruins and then enter them to find the answers.”

Tantai Lan nodded gently, then looked at Jiang Tianwang and said, “I can travel all over the Ten Divine Continents to sense the ‘spatial phase’ within those ruins. Once we pinpoint the location of the ruins, we might be able to gather the power of all the Heavenly Kings in the Divine Continents to forcibly tear apart the mist shrouding the ruins and force them to appear in the world.”

Jiang Tianwang’s eyes immediately brightened, and he smiled with relief, “Then I’ll leave it to Heavenly King Lan!”

Tantai Lan shook her head and said, “My two children have already gone this far. How can we, as their parents, not do our utmost?”

She gently patted Li Luo’s hand, her eyes filled with tenderness.

“Let’s get started without delay.”

Tantai Lan, known for her decisive nature, understood that this wasn’t the time for comfort, even though she hadn’t seen Li Luo for several years. Li Luo was no longer the boy he once was; the most important thing now was to find a way to defeat the Dark Sect Master within the ten years Qing’e had secured for them.

“Alright, I’ll inform the Heavenly Kings to accompany her at all times.”

Heavenly King Jiang didn’t hesitate, immediately summoning the other Heavenly Kings of the Divine Continent to form the most luxurious guard team to protect Tantai Lan as they searched for the sect’s ruins.

Li Luo naturally followed.

Thus, over the next six months, the guard team composed of the Heavenly Kings of the Divine Continent followed Tantai Lan, traversing every corner of the Ten Divine Continents once more.

Finally, on this day, the fifth year since the Dark Sect Master was sealed,

a smile appeared on Tantai Lan’s face as she pointed to a space nestled among the mountains in the distance. Her slightly weary voice instantly invigorated the eyes of the many Heavenly Kings.

“Finally…found it.”
