Absolute Resonance - Chapter 1779

Chapter 1776: The Kings Gather
When Heavenly King Jiang and all the other Heavenly Kings appeared, this Spiritual Cave Heaven officially became the venue for the Supreme Council of the Ten Divine States.
The decisions made here would impact the fate of the Ten Divine States.
“Congratulations, new Heavenly Kings.”
“This Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune is entirely thanks to your efforts in the Ten Divine States. Otherwise, I, the ‘Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune’ catalyzed by the Primordial Covenant, would have become the greatest sinner in the Divine States.”
Heavenly King Jiang looked at Li Luo, Jiang Qing’e, Qi Huang, Zhen Linshuang, and other newly promoted Heavenly Kings, and bowed his hands in thanks, quite solemnly.
While Heavenly King Jiang had used this Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune to delay the Dark World’s great demonic force from invading Divine State through the rift in the boundary wall,
everyone understood that this was a gamble.
If the Ten Divine States failed to withstand the Dark World’s frenzied attacks during the Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune, allowing the Dark World to gain a foothold in Divine State, then when the Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune came to an end, the Dark World would also benefit from this blessing, thus increasing its power.
As a result, the Ten Divine Continents paid the price of hundreds of years without a new Heavenly King being born, while the Dark World gained an advantage.
This was a devastating blow to the morale of the entire Ten Divine Continents.
Fortunately, although the “Withered and Flourishing Phase” fell to the Guiyi Society in the decisive battle, the Divine Continent coalition forces managed to drive out the Dark World’s forces before the Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune were calculated.
This allowed the entire fortune of heaven and earth to fall upon the inhabitants of the Divine Continent.
As a result, several new Heavenly Kings were born in the Ten Divine Continents!
Heavenly King Jiang was truly relieved by this victory.
Li Luo, Jiang Qing’e, and the others, unfazed by Jiang Tianwang’s gratitude, returned the greetings.
Li Luo and the others held this Heavenly King leader in deep respect. Their courage and skill were truly impressive. After all, the Guiyi Society had long planned to open the rift between the Dark World and Shenzhou. At that time, most of Shenzhou’s Heavenly Kings were trapped in the princely battlefield, unable to return to defend the city.
At a crucial moment, Heavenly King Jiang, invoking the Primordial Covenant, issued the “Heavenly King’s Pardon,” preventing the Great Demon’s arrival.
They, in turn, were the greatest beneficiaries of the “Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune.” Without the blessing that overdrafted Shenzhou’s luck for the next few hundred years, even talented individuals like Li Luo and Jiang Qing’e would have likely needed decades of hard work to reach their current state.
So, in a sense, the “Ten Years of Heavenly Fortune,” initiated by Heavenly King Jiang with extraordinary courage, also contributed to the success of Li Luo, Jiang Qing’e, and the others.
“Heavenly King Jiang, you’re too kind. If it weren’t for you seniors holding off the Dark World’s Great Demon King in the Princely Battlefield, how could we possibly cultivate peacefully in Shenzhou? So, it’s the people of Shenzhou who should express their gratitude and respect to you seniors,” Li Luo said solemnly.
Li Luo had always held a certain respect for the Shenzhou Heavenly Kings who defended the Princely Battlefield against the Dark World’s Great Demon Kings. After all, without them guarding the fortified boundary wall, the Shenzhou creatures wouldn’t have had the time to develop
. Therefore, even though Li Luo had now forged four levels of status, and in terms of strength,
few of the Heavenly Kings present could surpass him, Li Luo remained utterly conceited. His words drew the attention of many of the Heavenly Kings present, who nodded in greeting.
Previously, Li Luo might have been insignificant to these Heavenly Kings, his every move overlooked. But now, as a Heavenly King with four levels of status, his words and actions carried immense weight.
This humble and grateful gesture evoked a favorable impression among many powerful Heavenly Kings of this rising star.
“Heavenly King Li Luo speaks more pleasantly than Heavenly King Li. No wonder he surpasses his master.”
The voice of a strikingly charming woman standing beside Heavenly King Jiang came from the audience. She wore a light, gauze dress crafted from butterfly molts. Her eyes, like autumn water, exuded a captivating allure. A teardrop mole at the corner of her eye further accentuated her allure.
She studied Li Luo with a smile, her gaze lingering on his handsome features for a moment. Clearly, this Heavenly King Ji from the Academic Alliance appreciated appearances.
Heavenly King Jiang’s smile grew even gentler, and he gazed at Li Luo with unconcealed admiration. Although he couldn’t descend upon Shenzhou, he had been keeping a close eye on the situation there. He naturally understood that Li Luo had played a significant role in the Shenzhou coalition’s victory against the Dark World.
“Before we begin our business, I think our Shenzhou Heavenly Kings should first express their gratitude to the host of this place,” Heavenly King Jiang smiled, his gaze fixed on a distant spot.
Two figures stood there, their hands behind their backs, gazing at the other Heavenly Kings.
They were Yan Changsheng and Su Ying.
Zhen Jie, Li Jun, Zhen Fu, and the other Heavenly Kings had naturally noticed these two surviving Divine Fruit Heavenly Kings from the ancient Wuxiang Holy Sect, and for a moment, they all bowed solemnly.
As the other Heavenly Kings saluted, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying also flashed over. However, they didn’t greet Heavenly King Jiang and his companions, instead coming over to Li Luo’s group.
Their gentle gazes turned to Tan Tai Lan.
“Xiao Lan, you’ve grown up,” Su Ying said, a gentle smile playing across her beautiful face.
“Uncle Changsheng, Aunt Ying!”
Tan Tai Lan slowly stepped forward, her eyes slightly reddened as she gazed at the two before her. This was quite inconsistent with her usual carefree demeanor, but it also indicated the special weight and place they held in her heart.
While the world now sees the powerful and valiant Tan Tai Lan, back then, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying saw the lonely, helpless little girl wandering alone.
Had it not been for Yan Changsheng and Su Ying’s rescue and subsequent years of guidance, Tan Tai Lan might not have become the dazzling Tan Tai Lan she is today.
To Tan Tai Lan, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying were like teachers, fathers, and mothers.
When she left, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying warned her not to reveal the secrets of Lingxiang Cave Heaven. Since then, Tan Tai Lan has kept a secret, even to Li Taixuan, Li Luo, and Jiang Qing’e, the three most important people in her heart.
Looking at the beautiful woman before them, dressed in a purple coat, her long hair tied up in a bun, her demeanor graceful and elegant, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying recalled their first encounter: that weed-like, resilient young woman, who, no matter the adversity or hardship, simply gritted her teeth and persevered.
When Tan Tai Lan left Lingxiang Cave Heaven, she was still a bright and intelligent young woman, but now, as they met again, she was a mature and graceful woman, a woman and mother.
Even the usually stern Yan Changsheng’s expression softened at this moment.
Su Ying couldn’t help but grasp Tan Tai Lan’s hand with one, caressing her cheek with the other. She smiled gently, “You were once a little girl, now a Heavenly King.”
Tan Tai Lan embraced her with open arms, her nose slightly sore as she said, “I’ve missed you for years.”
Su Ying patted her arm and smiled, “We’ve been thinking of you, too, worried about you wandering the world and encountering something unexpected.”
The Heavenly Kings present watched this scene in amazement. No one had ever imagined that these two ancient Divine Fruit Heavenly Kings, survivors of the Wuxiang Holy Sect, had such a connection with Tan Tai Lan.
Clearly, Tan Tai Lan had long known of their existence, but had never revealed the secret. They
had previously assumed Tan Tai Lan was a self-reliant cultivator, helpless and helpless, but who could have guessed that behind her lay two truly powerful Divine Fruit Heavenly Kings?
So, many Heavenly Kings silently looked at the family of Tan Tai Lan, Li Tai Xuan, Li Luo, and Jiang Qing’e, and the more they looked, the more frightened they became. If they counted Yan Chang Sheng, Su Ying, and Tan Tai Lan’s special relationship, then their family… would have to add two more Divine Fruit Heavenly Kings?
Wouldn’t this mean that their family alone would be equivalent to the accumulation of tens of thousands of years of the entire school alliance?
This family was going to defy the heavens.
